✓ 0 stars if I couldI went to my app and it said I needed to upgrade to the latest version. Clicked and went to the App Store and every time I hit update a box pops up and says this app requires 14.0 do you want to download the latest version compatible with your phone and it has a box that’s asks cancel or download. I click download and soon as the box goes away it pops right back up with the same message. It’s done this for quite awhile. I also think that it’s awful that they don’t want you to use the app unless you have the latest and greatest phone. I have an extremely new iPhone but not good enough I guess. Not everyone can run out and grab a new phone every time one comes on the market. I’ll spend my money somewhere else..Version: 9.4.0
✓ I hate this appOkay so basically everything was working fine until their new update. So as usual i ordered a package but i quickly cancelled it because they were supposed to send me an order confirmation email, but never did. Then it started acting up, keep in mind i LOVED this app. I had two 5 dollar cali cash coupons and I had a gold membership. Then since it was glitchy ing and I just cancelled my order I signed out and refreshed the app. When I sign back in on both my accounts, Hollister says that BOTH passwords are wrong. Supposedly they send me and email, once again NEVER received it. I’ve reached out to their helped just for them to “send” me other email but one again NEVER RECEIVED THEM. I’m so tired of this, now i’m stuck with no package and no account back..Version: 9.5.1

✓ Actual content great but the appI’ve only had this problem recently where whenever I go on the app it mentions a wipeout but it’s been going on for about 3 weeks now. It’s frustrating because I cannot access the app at all. This has only been happening recently so I’m not sure what has been broken but I urge the developers to fix it asap because or else they're going to lose customers rapidly. Apart from this issue that I’m sure will be resolve soon, I love the clothes on here; very comfy and all true to size. I’ve bought stuff for myself and my relatives and we all seem pretty satisfied with our purchases. ✓ ✨I really like shopping here, it’s one of my favorite places to buy from, but I have a few things to say. The clothes are getting better, but they are still a bit tacky and some clothes have really ugly patterns. Also, why is it always skinny people modeling the clothes?? I want to know what the clothes will look like on a medium, curvier person that looks similar to my body shape. Also, the size references for the models are super unhelpful. How am I supposed to know what size I should get if it always says model is wearing a size small???? I would like to be able to see pictures with reviews as well, it would be really helpful. ✓ Won’t let me login?I love love loveeeeee Hollister and I was super excited to download the app but when I tried to log in it would either just pop me back out to the home page or give me a sign in error. I thought that I had maybe remembered my password incorrectly so I reset my password and even tried logging in on the website to make sure it worked and I was sure it would work on the app. I went back to the app and it did the same thing so I decided to redownload to see if that would help but it kept doing the same thing. I even tried apple saving the passwords and automatically entering it to ensure I wasn’t typing my password wrong but it still would not work?? I don’t know if it’s just my phone but it would be amazing if the app would actually let me sign in:((.Version: 5.13.0
✓ Wipeout?Normally I find the Hollister app fine, but for over a week now every time I open the app it just says "Wipeout: we're dusting the sand off a few things to make your shopping experience even better" followed by a retry button. I've tried refreshing, I've tried deleting and redownloading, I've looked online/at reviews and at their Twitter to see if this was an issue with the app in general or just me but saw nothing, and at this point I'll probably just delete it soon because I keep getting notifications but can't get rid of them because the app won't open. And this is following me making a purchase through the app for store pickup and then never getting a notification/email of delivery so it was returned. Customer service was willing to refund that purchase but now with all these annoyances piling up not sure I'll keep the app. However, when it's not buggy and full of issues the app does work well, but when it's not in top shape it's literally useless..Version: 5.7.8

✓ Worst experienceI brought few items from Hollister online but I didn’t like few items so went to the store for return and they gave me the gift card of the amount and told me you can use it Instore or Online but when I tried to add gift card it shows as invalid card, I talk to the customer service and they asked me to send receipt but they didn’t reply back then I again call customer service and this time they told me to go to the store they will help you out so went to the Eaton centre store and told them about the issue, they have check my gift in the system and have same balance in my card but showing invalid card when adding online, one rude cashier girl told me to can use in store or throw it in garbage, if its not working on a app thats not our concern. ✓ Choice of purchaseI love Hollister, & i usually shop in store because that’s what I just do best. But because I like to take advantage of the rewards & keep track of my points, I decided to download the app and sign in. During signing in on the App, I was asked if I shopped male or female. I was surprised that there wasn’t even a “both” option. After moving in, I saw the opportunity to take advantage of 200 points by asserting a couple simple questions. The first question was if I tend to purchase female products or if I tend to purchase male products… okay, the 2nd time that has been asked and still no option for both. It may seem like no big deal but I think the reason why we love Hollister is because it makes us feel good, and it’s for everybody. Hollister is inclusive but the app is not. It’s 2023, almost walking into 2024. We should do it right and update that and have an option for both, because I always find different items there that I absolutely love & mix with options from both men and women’s, depending on the clothing… that’s what keeps me coming back..Version: 11.12.0

✓ Low stock items & cart - doesn’t work great.I love Hollister, but the app has some issues. Almost every time they have an item that says low stock, less than 5 items left…. once you add it & go to your cart right away… it already says “no longer available”. If I delete it & go back into the app, the same item, in my size is still available- still showing low stock; less than 5. ✓ App is RUINED after updateAfter updating to the latest version of the Hollister app, there have been several issues that have constantly been occurring that were not before updating. At first the app was working completely fine until I noticed that scrolling through the catalog of clothing was INCREDIBLY laggy and slow. Even if I scrolled with the slightest touch, it would completely lag out. Later on, I was trying to fill out an order and I used my PayPal. However, every time I tried clicking the icon to use PayPal, the app would either crash or give me an error. I had to delete and download the app again in order to place my order. The next day, I went into the app, and noticed I had been logged out, which the app does periodically so I didn’t mind it much, but when I try to log back in, it says that the information I filled in (username/password) does not work and it shows me an error, and asks me to reset my password. I’m unaware if anyone else is having these issues, but I will not continue to use the app if these issues are persistent..Version: 5.20.1

✓ HorribleI ordered a sweater, long sleeve shirt, and a pair of jeans and my package never came! I constantly would check the website for an update on my package and the website didn’t even work! After two weeks of waiting I check the website again only to be told my package was going to arrive in about a week I wait and nothing ever showed up I contacted costumer service and they tell me it’s out of their hands and I should contact the shipping company?!? ✓ InconsistenciesThe app has a few major flaws with it, for example I’m using it today and can’t find any filter or option for male clothing, yet I could last week. When returning a parcel, the link directs you to a random royal mail website, however the return label UPS. I had to return a pair of jeans, which when I followed the instructions given to me by hollister meant a wasted journey to the post office, as they don’t accept ups parcels. I also didn’t get a refund for my return and had to call them, the operator said “they had missed it” whatever that means. ✓ Decent enough but no reviewsThe app is pretty similar to the hollister website and is pretty easy to find your way around (certainly easier than other apps - in looking at you Zara!) However one thing that is odd is that the app doesn’t include product reviews. There are loads on the website but they don’t carry onto the app, so you can’t tell if, for example, an item comes up a little big/small or, as I had with two t shirts, loses all its colour in the first wash. There were lots of online reviews on the website with people saying they’d had the same problems but the app doesn’t have them. I can’t understand why..Version: 11.7.0

I’m honestly disappointed because Hollister had great items that were in stock but instead Hollister didn’t deliver the exact items that I purchased online . ✓ Adding Club Cali to Apple Wallet FeatureSo I just contacted Customer Service and it seems to me that they have no clue about this option(calling it Apple Pay), but the developers do look at these reviews. When you go to Profile and then ID(for those who have Club Cali) there is a barcode where the associates can scan, and right below it is an option that says, ”Add to Apple Wallet”. I’ve already seen two reviews about the same concern and it is about the function not working! I’m currently using an iPhone 7 Plus and I’ve tried everything possible and nothing seems to work. ✓ HORRIBLE customer ServiceI know they probs won’t see this, but if I could rate 0 stars I would. HORRIBLE Customer service. Did not help me at all. Says my package is delivered and did not get any package; I checked both of my mail locker rooms at my apartment complex and I made sure the delivery address was the right one. Emailed the delivery people and they “opened an investigation” but said it will be closed in 2 days. They DID NOT help at all, told me if I don’t get my package in 2 days, to email the people I bought originally from (which is hollister LOL). This billion dollar company is a joke, cause when I originally emailed C.S they told me bc I didn’t get my shipment they could send another package. Great. Next day, they said they couldn’t bc of multiple attempts at asking for a refund and change of address?? How is that when this is my first time ordering online from you guys and last time I shopped in person was years ago. So I go to my bank account to see if they could AT LEAST give me a refund cause that’s over $250 of clothes NOT in my closet and some random place and they only credited $36 into my bank. ✓ Your chat functionWhen your estimation on response is way off maybe don’t add this feature. When you can pull the order information directly from the account or even have a prompt before I provided all the other information I do know then ask me about the order number. So I don’t have to exit the chat, copy order number, no where to find the existing chat then start all over again. The second the screen goes dark the whole chat disappears. I’ve spent 30 min on the phone waiting for a representative, then got hung up. Another 15 back and forth with Chat. Then it all disappeared. No where to search for a history. The order which tracking hasn’t been updated since 10 days ago with a shipping provider no one has heard before. I’ll have to invest more time to resolve it. ✓ A bit buggyI can’t add my Cali club card to my Apple wallet. When I click the button it doesn’t do anything so I tried pressing and holding but it just came up with ‘copy image’ so it doesn’t even seem to have a link attached to it. If someone could help me fix this I would really appreciate it. Also sometimes the sections just don’t load and you just get a blank screen. So that’s a bit annoying. Also my order shipped weird: they sent me one item and only now am I getting the other 6 items I ordered. Obviously this is down to Hollister and not the app but I also haven’t gotten all of my points for my full 7 item purchase, only the one that got shipped separately. I’m hoping once my other items arrive they’ll add the points for those purchases too. ✓ Change rewards to larger available time!I love shopping at the Hollister app because is easy to use, there is too much variety, and in my experience, I get my items on hand in no longer than a week. However, the only thing I would change is the rewards policy. I know this is all business and all that, but you should try to make the rewards last longer. When I reached my first $5 rewards, it said that I only had like 2 months to redeem them, and at the moment I didn’t see anything that was eye-catching for me. You should try changing the rewards’ longevity to at least a year or two..Version: 11.5.0

Regularly takes several attempts to pay, and often ends up going to an old address because the app had saved over 40 repeated addresses and would not allow me to update it when placing an order.
