The AR setting has so much potential would love to be able to draw a little more precisely and directly onto background landscapes and objects as it’s quite restricted. However I believe a warning needs to be posted for people with epilepsy and those who get migraines to avoid this app. The app has a very HIGH potential to cause seizures in someone who is triggered or prone to have seizures from flashing and rapid light movement. The WARNING a really needs to,be there because a parent could get this app for fun for their kid a,d they end up with severe problems. Pleas consider placing this warning, as an RN I saw the potiential for issues rights away. That said.... Fantastic app. Relaxing and fun. Definitely pay the $1.99 to get ads removed and all options available to you. One time pay. I have two,other similar apps I,love but this one takes the cake for modifying and PLAYING WITH THE LIGHTS. Right now, it uses default bitrate settings that produces movies which are just too blocky for pro use anywhere else. ✓ It’s improvedI’ve been playing this game since 2013 and let me say it’s improved a lot. Before the iOS 11 update its was a very simplistic game that was often difficult to use but now it has many more features and it’s sooo much easier to interact with your drawings. It’s also gives more instructions on how to do certain things whereas in the past you had to figure most things out for yourself. It’s a great time waster and I love drawing my own animations. Still working 10 years laterForge of Neon is not only a really beautiful, fun, and meditative app/game/canvas, I am totally blown away by the fact that the dev IS STILL UPDATING IT 10 YEARS LATER! I've let my cousins play with it on road trips and I pop it up from time to time just to draw something. It's interesting to see how some people are predisposed towards similar styles of what they build but others might be fairly random. Unlike many other apps and games from 10 years ago that have been abandoned, Forge of Neon has been kept up-to-date to work on newer devices and iOS versions. That really means a lot to me. ✓ I’ve had this for a long time, so...For a long while I didn’t like the new updates since 2.0 because it’s too glowy. I preferred how simple it used to be where you can fill up the screen with myriads of colors that don’t clash too much. Suggestion at the bottom. So today I go through the FILTERS option and find VIGNETTE. ALL my problems are solved. I don’t like any of the other filters yet tbh But now I can start using the new features in Earnest. I hope I’m not alone in this, but I also hope to help out those like me. Also, if you are thinking of getting this and want a classic taste, definitely use Vignette. It’s much less “glowy” and paradoxically more pleasing to the eye. The glow slider wasn’t working out for me before is all. What can I say? Actually, how about this. When I got on the app today out of curiosity, I tried the Spinner mode and turned off the automatic filters. If you guys could make CLASSIC mode automatically Vignette, and low glow, you will have a more True-To-Feel “Classic” taste for those of us that had the old versions..Version: 3.0.0

✓ Comes out with sick outcomesThis app kind of reminds me of (A SUPER IMPROVED VERSION OF) the crappy drawing apps I had on my first gen iPod touch. It’s the same level of intuitive, but the final outcome is just infinitely more beautiful and impressive. It even has the ability to export the final animation between 6-30 seconds (for free). Honestly, other than the outcome itself the app is a little clunky looking, like the older apps. The adverts themselves look a bit like the ones you’d see on low quality apps like coin dozer, + you have the pop up ads also. I think maybe those intense settings could be more user friendly in guiding the user through what each do in a simplistic and yet aesthetically pleasing way..Version: 3.0.0

✓ All stars, No ProblemsWhen I downloaded this app I thought it was going to be a boring neon coloring game but no! There was edits to make it rain down neon and you could make all these cool designs of neon colors and brushes of whatever you want and it’s just way more cooler and fun than I thought it would be. I don’t mind that much because it tells you when there is an upcoming add, and there are only adds when you delete your art or when you save your art.
