✓ Works very well.I took a very shaky video taken while walking and ran it through this app and the video went from unwatchable to very watchable. It wasn't perfect but I don't expect it to be on a video as shaky as it was. I find it best to use on 1.0 setting just to get rid of the jitter. ✓ Excellent for tidying up helmet cam footageThe boy racer of the ski group shot lots of footage — this app almost made some of it watchable! 😉🎿 It's a very well written app. It stabilises video just as much as you want, whilst compromising image size by just as much as you choose. You can even bring back the inevitable occasional black bars, if you want, to keep more of your image in frame. However, it's confused by foreground motion that will introduce unwanted and unnecessary motion correction as the camera and background was not moving. Fix this and it'd be a great 5 star app! PS. It integrates perfectly into Photos so you can edit videos directly from there. However, it doesn't respect the selected slow part of slow mo videos; it all becomes normal speed which is a shame..Version: 2.5.7

✓ Works but needs a higher bitrateWorks well enough to stabilise the image and the slider lets you balance out the. Level of smoothness against the level of crop - plus if you have motion blur you need some shake or it looks wrong. However at 20MB/s for 4K there is a hit in the quality of the final video in addition to the loss from cropping. As stabilisation is part of a chain of post processing tasks it would be better to have a higher bit rate and even the option of using other intermediary codecs to reduce loss..Version: 3.0.3
✓ Great app on my iPhone not so much on my iPad.I tried this app for mobile video editing but it can do so much more for videos shot in other cameras. I like it a lot and as long as I remember to keep some room while shooting for possible cropping with the stabilization I’m fine with it. My biggest problem would be that I can’t export the video when I process it in the iPad, the app does everything except that, such a pity. ✓ Amazing for the moneyI've been using this for a couple of days now and it's fair to say I'm impressed with the results. I had some shaky GoPro footage and this fixed it quickly and easily. ✓ Best IOS Stabilizer!I’m updating an old review after getting the latest version of this app. My previous rating was a 2 star due to the limitation of 25 mbps. The latest update has increased it to about 80 mbps. This is now a 5 star review. This app has the best IOS stabilization out there. I’ve used Deshake as well and it’s not even close, Emulsio has it beat. I use this mainly to stabilize underwater footage from a compact camera, and it does a perfect job (on par with DaVinci Resolve). I’m very picky when it comes to stable footage, it has to look natural without any noticeable stabilization artifacts and this seems to do the job. So happy with the latest update..Version: 3.5.1
✓ A Hidden Gem!As a professional filmmaker, I am wanting to rely less on the Adobe Suite and more on my iPad Pro for on the go editing. Along with LumaFusion, VideoGrade, and ShotLister etc... “Emulsio” has just joined my workflow to great effect. I shoot a lot Time-lapses, Hyper-lapses, Drone footage as well as handheld gimbal video with the Ronin S and Osmosis Mobile 2, All of which needs that little bit extra stabilisation just to take any minor kinks. It’s totally worth buying the Pro Pack because as well as removal of the watermark you also get the ability to remove any rolling shutter (Jelly) and this alone makes any digital video far superior and worth the bucks! Now I don’t have to go running back to Premiere Pro or After Effects as I can get all done on my iPad. 🤓🤯😍 I have suggested they produce an app that allows you to reintroduce motion blur for the 180 shutter rule and if they make it and maybe a way to motion track 3D objects, text and graphics as well I would never need the Adobe suite ever again... 🤞 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 3.0.1
✓ Does a great job!I discovered this a while back and downloaded it thinking it could come in handy at some point in the future... I was right! The app does a great job at removing shake in most cases, and the option to stop removing wobble and rotation is awesome, and really helps Emulsio to work in more situations. By far, my favorite features of the app so far are the ability to see either how much the camera shake is being removed with the compass view or look at the stabilized footage next to the original footage in a side-by-side view! That really helps me figure out how large a percentage removes enough of the shake without taking too much of the frame off. I appreciate having the three different “looks” to go through! Normal works, I think the cinematic look works fantastically, and I know the vibration look will come in handy... I love that they’ve overhauled the app’s aesthetics to fit iOS 11 and the support for the Files app is HUGE to have when I’m working with Video!.Version: 2.7

✓ Wow! Works better than FCP! Amazing.I use FCP to remove shaky video in post, as well as Sony’s Catalyst software (which only works on Sony footage). But this app has made both of those applications much less useful for me. This app works perfectly (and it runs on M1 Macs too). I’ve tested footage from various sources (Go Pro and DJI action cameras with and without built-in stabilization, iPhone footage, Sony ZV1-1 Footage, etc..). ✓ Unbeatable for a £2 appGood that there is a try before you buy option and then you have to pay to remove the watermarked exports. This is a great app for its price. Reading some of the other reviews, it seems that most reviewers don't really understand that no app can create content for you - if your video is really shaky, then all any app can do is take the centre which is stable and trim out the edges. This is what any basic 2D video stabiliser will do and this app is a fantastic implementation. If you want something more sophisticated then you are going to have to pay big money for it and it's probably not going to work on your iPhone either. All things considered this is a great app - just don't expect it to fix all of your problems if you can't keep your camera basically stable when shooting. It can stabilise your steps as you're walking but it can't stabilise you panning your camera all over the place. Common sense. Get it if you want a cheap, simple, easy-to-use video stabiliser that works on your mobile device. I love it and I am using it on skiing holidays to stabilise action footage - saves me having to bring a laptop with me, and I can upload my edits straight to Facebook to annoy my friends.Version: 2.5.4

This app can clean up and smooth those videos and do a decent job of it. However the quality suffers, so for video where visual quality doesn't matter, this can improve the overall look by smoothing the shakes out. You will have to play with the settings and reduce the stabilization strength so that black bars don't appear when you pan. ✓ Great app for the priceThis app is very good for the price. I tried the trial on one or two videos and immediately bought the app. It works great. A few nice things that would be preferred would be being able to batch process more than one video at a time. I’m sure a lot of people like to fine-tune each video but in my case I preferred to select to 20 videos and let it just stabilize them as best it can and save them all out at once. ✓ My best friendI've had this app forever and paid for it so long ago I forget what it's like to have shaky vids. It's sort of a Swiss Army knife of stabilization and conversion. It will accept all sorts of formats from other apps through "open in" (i use it opening my GoPro and DJI 4K videos so that I can crop/stabilize and get into the camera roll for other purposes. Both have 4K video not supported by any apple device natively.. It's great for on the go edits on from those devices). The integration into the Photos app in iOS as a plugin works awesome too it becomes something quite like a native stabilization tool for iOS. ✓ AmazingThis app is better than my current PC professional editing soft ware. I have a cool tip to help even more. As all stabilizing software zooms in on the subject in the film sometimes cutting of the top half of the to of the head for example. Simply first go to an editor whereas you can shrink the footage , pan and zoom, a bit. Process the footage port it to emulsion, stabilize using the slider if needed.
