✓ Broken drag functionThe last update broke the hold to drag function of the rdp connection. It now only functions to right click. I use this feature quite alot and it would be favourable if it was fixed..Version: 10.5.1396
✓ What a messYou gave taken a great app and turned with the latest update. The tool bar is now hidden so you can't get the mouse keypad etc. This was by far and away the best rdp now it is totally useless. ✓ Keybrd problemsThis latest keybrd upd prevents me from using it when I Remote Desktop into my IBM 5250 emulation screen. When I tap the keys on the key board, nothing appears. ✓ Bad keyboardNew version fixed windows 2012 issues but major turn for the negative. The keyboard is like oh my god!!!! Where did you find that keyboard layout. I won't even start on where the heck is the colon?!?!?!?!! ✓ Maybe an IT person can get this to runBut I can't. Emailed 2X for help but what they sent only told me what to do if the installation worked, nary a peep about what to try if it didn't. They also assume that you know what all the acronyms mean. Frankly, they assume you know enough about this product to get by without any help or instruction. I can install operating systems and build rudimentary networks but I can't get 2X to run. ✓ Updated App CrashThe old app is a great app. I downloaded the upgrade and it crashes when trying to connect to the server. Apparently, the SERVER software version needs to be updated too for this upgrade to work. No where in the update information is this mentioned! Fortunately, I was able to find the old app still in iTunes and downgrade back to the working version. It would have been nice to have known this would crash beforehand!!.Version: 10.1.1204
✓ Worked great until the latest upgradePanning went horribly wrong. It used to be that the auto-show of the keyboard worked great. Now it just pops up when I click on anything like links and no longer just in text boxes. When I push the screen up (panning), it automatically goes wwwaaayy up...every time. The non-iOS keyboard layout makes it extremely confusing when almost all other apps use a native iOS layout. ✓ Another pretty mediocre RDP clientOn the iPad it's ok. Native resolution support, but you still have to scroll vertically because of the tool bar. No full screen mode either. And when you use the pointer you end up scrolling if you move to the far right of the screen. On the iPhone 4 it is rubbish. No native resolution support and it always connects zoomed x 2. Since there's no mouse mode you're often forced to use the pointer for accuracy, but then you're having to scroll horizontally again. But it's free. Contrast that to Jaadu RDP (£15) and iTap (£6.99), but have few UI issues, support ALL resolutions, great mouse mode (though no iPad version in Jaadu yet) RDP is an essential tool in my job and this doesn't cut it on the iPhone - passable on the iPad. On the other hand I can do complex jobs easily using Jaadu RDP on the iPhone or iTap..Version: 9.0.1034

✓ No longer worksI have had no problems with 2x up until now, I have no idea how to fix it but it no longer fits my screen, I have to scroll, rotate, scroll and rotate over and over again to get any work done I was told by my IT department it is a issue with the app and there is nothing I can do on my end to fix this ? ✓ Disables Windows Sound Driver!Not a bad RDP client, but for the fact that it disables the sound on the host computer. For this reason alone, I cannot/will not use it. I am quite surprised that 2x has not addressed this issue, because it has been brought up here and on their own forums. ✓ The last update just made it worseThe last update took away voice to text and made it harder to scroll around on the screen. I document my medical notes on the server so it just significantly made my job harder. You shouldn't put in a keyboard that's different from other apps, it just makes typing slower because you can't trust natural reactions for where buttons are. ✓ Keyboard won't stay up on iPadWhile the app does connect well, I've found it unusable since the keyboard won't stay up for more then a split second. This makes entering text impossible and therefore just about anything I'd need the 2x setup unavailable. This is at least been my experience on an iPad mini. It's a functionality bug. ✓ Update Breaks Connectivity to Older 2X Gateway ServersThis current version does not allow connections to older (Version 8) 2X Gateway Servers. If you update you may lose ALL functionaltiy. I contacted support and their solution was to upgrade the 2X server. I manage the servers, and this is a VERY LARGE undertaking and must be tested extensively before it can be implemented in production. I work for a hospital and our systems need to be up 24\7, so a major upgrade like this takes a lot of planning and time, there is no "Quick Fix!" It is a shame that many of our users have updated this app and now cannot use it at all! DO NOT UPDATE!!.Version: 10.1.1204
