✓ OK but not brilliantThe idea is good because it's contained within an App, but although it takes lots of pictures in a short space of time, sorting the images afterwards is time consuming, and the pictures take up masses of space both in Camera Roll and in your iPhone's memory. What the app essentially does is take a video but split it into individual photos rather than rendering it as a video. In fact, the results this App gives are *already* available on your iPhone in the native Camera App. If you take a video using the native App, you can then get all of the individual frames from the video's timeline in playback....and you can then save individual frames to your Camera Roll if you wish. The other thing to bear in mind with this App, is that despite its name, the only thing that's fast is the rate that it takes pictures. It does not speed up the shutter speed in any way, so action shots are very blurry when you view them afterwards. If none of this puts you off, then it's a decent App, but in truth, you don't *need* it..Version: 5.2.1
✓ Lost my photosI downloaded this app purely for one special moment I wanted to capture. I used it, selected all of the photos i wanted to keep and deleted the rest. The photos never got uploaded to my camera roll and I lost all of the photos. A moment I will never get again. So very disappointed.Version: 10.2.7
✓ Crashes on iOS 8.1.1 & iPhone 5sThe app can take a rapid succession of photos, yes. But... The stock camera app in iOS 7 can do that too! My problem with this app occurs when reviewing the photos taken. The app crashes when I try and delete unwanted frames. It crashes if I select all, and try to delete all of them, and it crashes if I just select one or two, and try to delete those. It crashes..Version: 6.99

✓ 'Fast Cam' on iPhone Is ImpossibleIn theory, this app should work very well, but it doesn't. The way the app works is by taking hundreds of very quick photographs in succession; just like breaking a film into a multitude of frames. The idea is that you can then select one of the individual frames to have a photo of a moving image. Admittedly, this is probably the best way your going to get a photo of someone playing sport on an iPhone, especially because the phone doesn't have a 'slow motion' camera. However, although this does work in theory, it's easy to forget that you are only using an iPhone camera. The camera blurs at high-speed, so if you are hoping to get a picture of something that is fast paced you will ultimately be wasting your time. The best way to use this app is by using it as a normal camera, but in order to take a range of pictures and then pick the best one. For example, a group of friends; take a loads of pics so you can find one where they all have the best expression/smile. Do not rely on this 'fast camera' to get you high quality pictures of moving images, but it does have its other uses..Version: 5.0
✓ Does What It Says, at Low ResIt is fast - starts to take shots immediately - and is very simple to use (two buttons). However, the trade-off is on the resolution: it's very grainy and a little blurry. But, for quick shots under bright lights, it does the trick..Version: 1.0
✓ Sequence issueAs much as I like this app, there is one major issue. It doesn’t always keep the sequence the photos were taken. So when previewing or exporting as a video, frames are mixed up. Shame as it does work well otherwise.Version: 10.1.1
✓ Does what it says... But why I don't like it?It really does what it says. Very fast shooting. But the iPhone camera infrastructure does not allow for precise photos. The shutter speed most of times is not adequate and the autofocus seems at the same level. It works well when shooting repeated pictures in plenty of light and if you don't try to follow a fast moving subject. Good idea, good implementation... Perfect if Apple will launch an "iCamera"... ✓ Lost images and crashing appThis app started off good. Now crashes almost every other time when exporting to camera roll on iPhone, and when the app crashes an you open app to export again the photos are then blacked out and corrupt. The amount of quality images I have lost through this app is unreal. This has been happening for months on end, why has this not been sorted with the numerous updates??? Also.. Why when in the middle of saving hundreds of photos (which is what the app is for..!!!) when somebody rings, messages, or you get a pop up on iPhone, does the app stop what it's doing and stop saving...!!! THEN... do exactly the same as mentioned above and blank and corrupt all the photos..!!??? Major issues that need addressing and sorting..!!! ✓ Its a video cameraBasically does what the video camera does, takes a heap of frames. The benefit is that it has easy access to the frames so you can choose what to keep. There are free apps you can get to extract frames from videos you take but I will admit this makes it easier. I wouldn't of paid for it, gratefully, it was free today..Version: 6.92
✓ Needs some compatibility work for iPad ProNot sure if this app was intended to work with the iPad but if it is, it needs some work to function properly on the iPad Pro. When you launch it on the iPad Pro, the image is does not rotate with the orientation of the tablet and when do you do rotate it the screen splits and two and has very odd behavior, and makes the app unusable. It works great on my iPhone and has for many years so I had hopes that I could use it with my iPad as well maybe in the future?.Version: 11.2

✓ Either amazing or rubbishI do horse riding and my friend used this app to take loads of pictures of us jumping. It took amazing quality pictures and was exactly what we'd been looking for! I then got it on my phone and it refuses to start. So to other users I definitely recommend it but if it doesn't work you have Been warned. I hope for an update so I can start it on my phone, because if I could it would be my favourite app!.Version: 5.0

✓ Used to be a favorite, what happened?I used to use fast camera all the time, for several years over the course of a few phones. It’s great to use during storms. At least, it was. On my last phone I discovered that using the phone’s own fast mode worked a bit better so I stopped using the app. But now I have a new phone and decided to try this app again during a big storm last night. I caught an amazing sequence of lightning and went to save it but there is a different UI now it seems and all my pics got permanently deleted. Never caught another good shot the rest of the night. The app then froze taking pics even though I kept trying to shut it off. I’d close the app out and reopen it to find it still frozen and would start taking pics as soon as it reopened. It would freeze on review loads. It froze during focusing. Wouldn’t let me into settings or review unless I closed it out. I finally gave up and uninstalled the app again. Too bad. Was once a go to app for me. Now, we’ll if I do get a good shot, I can’t keep it!.Version: 10.2.7
✓ AverageAfter reading the reviews I decided to try this app, but I confess myself disappointed. I use an iPhone 5, and all it really offers is a burst ability but no significant gains from an assumed shutter speed increase due to it. In short you get a stack of blurry or average pictures that doesn't stack from the reviews. I have tinkered with the settings and tried to amend it but it doesn't seem to offer what I believed the app would. If your after something to capture a moment I wouldn't say this is that app..Version: 4.0
✓ Really horribleProbably one of the most dumb apps ever. Promises 1500 frames a minute (which if worked out is 25 frames a sec) but it can't catch a drop of water from a tap. ✓ Wish I could rate higherFirst I’ll say this is an awesome and unique app. I’ve not found anything else like it. It’s ability to shoot photos continuously is simply amazing! I would easily rate the app 5 stars if it was a stable app, unfortunately it’s not. They need to update the app to better perform on iPhones that shoot 48mp ProRaw images. As it is currently, the app crashes every time I switch between shooting “full raw-48mp” and “turbo mode—12mp”. And once the app starts crashing, I literally need to delete the app and reinstall from App Store again. I’ve found a workaround process to stop this from happening when switching between ProRaw-48mp and any of the other 12mp modes (turbo, portrait depth, etc) and that is to first change the “Rear Cam” setting from 48mp to 12mp, then you can toggle on one of the 12mp only shooting modes without the app crashing. The app developers should be updating their code to take care of changing this MP setting for you automatically when changing shooting mode. It’s simply a matter of writing the code to perform the correct steps in the correct order, so the app doesn’t crash… Aside from what I just explained, the app performs well. There are some other little things that the developers need to work on to make the app a little more stable; but these little things are annoyances that I can live with considering the value of what this app enables me to do. This app has AMAZING potential! Hope the developers continue to work on making it better as they have a winner here..Version: 11.2
✓ Effective to capture the right moment!This is one excellent app for quick photography. Helps capture that great moment just as it happens. However, there is one very major bug with this app. It is in saving photos. They are stored temporarily, so if this app were to crash (as it has for me) during the process of a user going through and saving specific photos into the camera roll, then the user has to force quit the app to restart it. When the app has been force quit, it erases all temporary photos that were not exported into the camera roll. Though the photos get taken quickly, the photo processing is a bit laggy. And I'm using a relatively new iPhone (iPhone 4)..Version: 3.0
✓ Not brilliantIt certainly sounds fast with a frame per second rate of a Nikon D4, however this is your iPhone, not a Nikon and you only get this frame rate if you use the VGA setting. To me it is as if this takes video and then cuts it up into frames. The shutter speed is not quick resulting in subject blur in fast moving subjects. Quite good though if trying to get that image of the family with no one blinking etc. it is only an app, and limited to the inherent abilities of the iPhone camera. If you truly want good sports photography with a fast frame rate, it's gonna cost more than 69p or free on app gratis!! So not too bad for what it is. A zoom function might be useful as well. And if any of you decide to get a canon 1DX or a Nikon D4 and don't like it, I'll take it off your hands!!.Version: 5.0
✓ No helpUsed Fast Camera to take a very special photo a few weeks ago, saved a photo to camera roll but it didn't save it there or anywhere. Tried everything- making more space in iCloud, turning on saving options etc but nothing. Have emailed Fast Camera help three times. Received one very basic reply with no help. Answered this but still got no reply. It seems that if you have a problem then you're stuffed, and you've lost your special photo also..Version: 7.3

✓ Partially working on 11 ProFast Camera defaults to the 2x lens and won’t let you select another until you switch to front facing lens and back. Then it offers the choice of wide (which is really 2x), 2x and ultra wide. The normal wide angle lens is never used..Version: 10.2.1
