✓ Works but has its limitationsThe core functionality is good but it will only record square aspect ratios in portrait mode, which limits its suitability for recording for apps like TikTok. It’ll do full screen landscape, but not portrait. It plays the noise of a shutter clicking on every frame during recording. This is annoying to listen to over a long period, but more importantly it means you can’t use the phone to listen to podcasts or music while the time lapse is recording. There doesn’t seem to be any way to stop that. This ended up being the deal breaker for me, I wanted to be able to carry on listening to my stuff while long time lapses were being recorded. However, if you don’t care about it hogging the audio out, and you don’t need full screen portrait video, then it’s pretty good. The free version can do a lot and the upgrade to the full version is a cheap one-off payment, which was refreshing to see..Version: 6.1.1
✓ Not workingAt first I thought this all was amazing but I was working on a school project and I had just finally added the perfect voice over and the app kicked me off like it will let me into the app and it shows that my video is there but as soon as I click on my video And it sends me back to my phones home screen. I tried to delete a bunch of my apps to maybe make it work but it still didn’t work. Does anyone have any advise.Version: 5.0.2

✓ This app is great but...I love this app but there are a couple of annoying things that are really bugging me. The first one which happened is you aren’t allowed to add more than 100 photos which is really annoying because you may be like me and that is to make long animations. The second thing is you were allowed to voice over it until recently. It first went downhill about 8 months ago and I really want it to change. So in conclusion I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who likes to make long movies or people who like to voiceover. Thanks for reading. 😉 :>.Version: 5.0

✓ Needs some tweakingIt looked like a good app, so I downloaded it, but I had to delete my other stop motion app to do so. I thought sacrificing my old movies would be worth it so I got this app. Turns out I don’t think this app was worth it. You can’t zoom in with the camera, which I couldn’t be without due to my small subjects or a small background. I thought this app would be worth it, but I basically just deleted my old movies for nothing. So if anyone doesn’t have sufficient room and needs to be able to zoom in to fill up empty space, don’t get this app. If you don’t mind, you’re fine, but this app really isn’t anything special. ✓ Pretty good appI would recommend using stop motion studio instead, as you can add sound for free and view the video while still in the process of making it, allowing you to view exactly what you have so far. Decent app overall though..Version: 6.1

✓ Black imagesSo I bought this app to do a time lapse video of my pool install. After getting all the pictures on my phone and uploaded to this app, every single one in the playback was black. I had 78 pictures and watched as it counted all 78 pictures without displaying one of the 78. Just all black slides. All of these pictures were screenshots so not sure if that has anything to do with it but I passed by 5 other apps before getting this one definitely shouldn’t have stopped when I did. Tried to email app support but apparently that isn’t a thing for these guys..Version: 5.0.4
✓ Meh, horribleI don’t like this because all my videos were spoiled. That was because iMotion switched the order of my frames. Also it’s controls are hard to use. 0 directions,or help. Also it blanks out in the middle of my film. This is horrible. Please change and update this app..Version: 5.0
✓ BugsI just did a purchase for the full app so we can import already taken pictures. This was disappointing as it cropped the images which cut out important details. Also, anytime you go to tools and go back, the app shrinks the window making the app basically unusable. I really would appreciate it being fixed or a refund. ✓ Good program, but some SERIOUS ISSUESOk, so I made this complex whiteboard animation that I was super proud of. It had a lot of frames and I was really looking forward to watching it. It brought my into display, and the screen instantly went black. The frames were going, but I couldn’t see my animation! I was really upset and tried everything to fix it, but nothing worked!! ✓ Unable to save to camera rollI have made lots of movies using this app but every time i tap 'save to photo library' and it finishes it's not in my photo library when i check it. Please fix this bug because i want to be able to send my movies to my friends but i cant if they aren't in my photo library. ✓ Can’t select multiple picture to importSadly this failed atthe first hurdle. I wanted to import a folder of 400 pictures to create my Timelapse and found that i would have to tap individually on all the picture. 400 taps, really? ✓ Disappointed. Very disappointed.I'm getting really sick and tired of people calling their apps free when they're really not. Please be honest with your customers. You have a great product here. If you charged $1.99 for your app up front, I would've had no problem buying it. But because you were dishonest, posting it as free and then not even letting me export my movie without making the in app "upgrade" of $1.99, I'm going to buy Time lapse Pro instead. ✓ Do not pay for pro featureWanted to stitch some photos from my library together to make a time lapse. So bought the pro version to access this feature. However when I paid for it the app only gave me a selection of 14 photos (I have over 15,000 photos on my phone) from my phone library, none of which are the photos I wanted to use. The pause/resume button would break and it would just continue the video no matter how many times I pressed the button. ✓ Errm...ok🤷♀️This app is good for basic animations but you can’t do much with your film. Most of the features you have to pay for so it isn’t really worth your time. If you are looking for an animation app I suggest you get -stop motion- it is much better and is easier to use.
