Lots of variations of the games available, nice graphics, nice gameplay, ads are infrequent and not intrusive. Only a couple of minor bugs... 1. The difference between the highest AI skill setting (“Veteran”) and the second highest (“Experienced”) is vast. Veteran is almost unbeatable, whereas Experienced is unable to string more than 2 or 3 shots together before making a mistake. 2. If you like UK pool, US pool, snooker or any table game it's all there. I only have one beef... you should be able to choose rule setup on pool as everyone has different rules. I pretty much just play one pocket and the jump from Expereinced level to Veteren is a big jump. The veteren is an almost unstoppable force if you give it even the slightest opportunity, but if you throttle it back to Experienced the AI is laughably lousy. Not sure if its possible to adjust easily and maybe not noticeable in other types of pool but in one pocket which is really tactical the jump is very noticeable. ✓ Joy to useI have downloaded at least a dozen promising looking pool apps and this one is in another league to ALL of them. The physics are outstanding, and it maintains visual integrity in 3D, with tilt, pan, zoom and 2 rotate modes: around the cue ball, and around the table centre. Apart from the fact that it’s ’unrealistically’ realistic, you’d swear you were watching a movie of an actual table. Most similar products are just unrealistic full-stop. Any doubts that the skill would pass across to my real game were eliminated when I got on a real table. I had to gain a reasonable proficiency with the app first, but when it comes to the geometry, in particular, of lining up a shot, this game has systematically corrected my eye for how fine or flat the angles should really be. There is unfortunately a flaw or bug when trying to cue a softer shot: the action fails somehow and the cue stops dead without hitting the ball. It can take several attempts to get the shot to go and when it does, it’s usually because you increased the cue speed, resulting in a harder shot than you intended. ATTENTION: This is something the developers need to fix!! The last update was a year old so whatever they did to ‘fix the cue sensitivity’ didn’t fix this problem. Oh, and by the way, I do not see 3-ball billiards, as advertised. That’s a cheek! I used to play billiards quite a bit and particularly wanted to play it with this app. But I can’t deduct a star even for these heinous evils when considering across the board performance. I’ve played pool for money for nearly 60 years and the english or spin is calculable but the power behind the cue comes not so easy because someone has to be holding the cue stick for that feel of the stick weight, where therein the player may adjust the stroke according to the weight or force he or she feels must be behind the stroke. Perhaps the designers may figure a way to include as an option at the cue icon various cue weights.....and, why not through a choice whether or not to chalk the cue stick tip before a shot?.Version: 2.7.2

You also get a good number of different type games to play so the entertainment value is awesome. Online play against real opponents is awesome. There are few issues and bugs with this game. One of which is the difference in skill level between computer experienced vs. veteran. Way too wide of a margin. You rarely even get a shot agains veteran and often it makes shots that seem physically impossible, while experienced makes several rookie mistakes every game. Another is awarding second visits to the table upon opponent scratches, sometimes the computer forgets and you don't get your second visit. I have only noticed this problem when playing the computer as your opponent. Overall I must say this is probably the most enjoyable pool / billiards game I have ever played..Version: 2.5.5

✓ Great billiard game!First of all I want to give a little bit of advice to people who say they shoot blind at their pockets that they can’t see, well if you touch One of the symbols at the bottom of the screen it will give you/the shooter an overall picture and a line showing the direction of the shot, which I find fantastically helpful. It actually has improved my play on a full-size billiard table seeing how each shot affects the ball and it’s a line of direction. In the settings you can adjust that directional line or have it removed. I prefer to have it because it helps me aim better and on a real life pool table gives me a realistic chance at making the shot. In my opinion this version of billiards is by far the best of any that out there! They really thought about this thoroughly and I play it all the time..Version: 2.7.2

✓ Generally brilliant, couple of bugs...As the title says. Let’s get the bugs out of the way first; both spotted in the Snooker game on “pass and play” (2-player) mode. 1. If you tie a frame of Snooker, it says “the black will be respotted”, which would be correct, except... the black doesn’t reappear on the table. The cue ball is put in the D and you can position it, take a shot, etc, but without a black all you can do is foul due to not hitting anything. 2. If you foul on the final black (e.g. completely miss it), whoever is ahead on points is declared the winner of the frame, even though the black is still on the table. Hmm. Other than that, it’s a brilliant app with excellent physics and good intuitive controls. Not so much a game as a pool / snooker simulator which is great for practicing without costing a fortune on a real table. The only non-realistic bit is that the table is always perfect, cue tips apply spin and swerve perfectly, and no matter how low and hard you hit the cue ball, it never launches off the table, smacks your mate in his Crown Jewels, demolishes his beer glass or disappears under the furniture. This is a disappointment when you get to a pub or club and the baize is balding, the table’s on a slope and the only cue is bent and with a knackered tip, and all the shots that work in the game go to waste! Oh, also, the game lets you reach shots that in real life you’d need a ten-foot swan-neck spider rest with hover mode to get even close to... Overall: Excellent free app..Version: 2.7.2

One minor things to criticise. Sometimes the object ball or cue ball goes out of view and you have to wait for it to stop moving before you can change view and see if it potted or went in-off etc. Would be nice to see the whole table once ball is moving. ✓ Lite? Really?Seriously.. This is a "lite" version? It's superb! The physics are remarkably accurate, the graphics, whilst not necessarily mind-blowing, are sharp, colourful and smooth. Sound effects are very realistic, and the number of games is remarkable. From variant forms of Pool to full sized Snooker, this has everything. One and Two player modes, varying levels of experience. So far I've only tried the snooker, UK pool and US 8 ball pool (totally hooked on the snooker!) and each one has superb playability. For a free app, a lot of effort has clearly gone into this, and it doesn't pester with adverts, which is an added bonus. Goodness knows what the full version does! The only small downside is the use of the cue takes a little time to become accustomed to, and can be a little tricky at first, especially for spin, screw-back etc, but with a bit of practice you'll pick it up, and won't put the game down. Genuinely expected this to be average to rubbish, given it cost nothing. Pleasantly surprised is an understatement! A very enjoyable game. Thank you! 5/5, and that is a very well deserved score..Version: 1.5.3

✓ BighairyhippyOnly playing the lite version and it's the best I've played. Gets a bit tedious playing online when people quit and u have to restart, picking game,table size and opponent. Really easy with both aiming lines on but u can take one or both away. Too many use the "raise cue angle" to "bend" the ball out of trouble.( I can't explain how dull it is watching a curvy line twist about your screen for a minute every shot only for them to win in one visit and quit) This isn't the game developers fault tho..Version: 2.5
