It does pull off the occasional impossible shot, but 95% of the time, it plays a reasonable game consistent with the selected skill level. Bit naughty I feel. Having said the game is very good and well worth £1.99. My only criticism is the absence of 15 ball pool and I feel the ball Roll is not quite right as the ball seems to come to a slightly abrupt halt. I can beat the experienced opponent 90% of the time, but have never beaten the veteran opponent. My only gripe is that people that are losing abandon the game so as not to incur a loss against their name but if like real pool or snooker it gave the win to the remaining player this would not happen. A few times I have had a high break and the opponent has abandoned the game in spite, this is very wrong.... Bad losers! ✓ Great GameThis is a much improved game since the February 2017 update sorted out the "Swipe to shoot" option for IOS10. Prior to that it was intermittent and frustrating trying to use Swipe to shoot, and you had to stick with the Shoot button. It's much better now. I have played Snooker and Pool. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it only costs $0.99 to remove the ads. Quite a bargain, which I happily paid. The app has all the pool games I have ever heard of, and some that I've never heard of. Like Carrom, and Crokinole. I have found those two especially fun to play. ✓ Disappearing cueAlthough this is my only pool sim app, no other compares. Yet, recently a bug has been plaguing the players. Since someone else reported this had been occurring recently... While playing online, our cue would disappear. Used to do so when some would quit. Yet, realized that wasn’t the case. Please, look into it. Also, this strange bug would appear while playing online where a player would move the ball around even when no scratch has occurred. I play upon my iPad Pro. ✓ Great Pool appI think I tried just about every pool game available in the App Store before finding this one. I just wanted a good pool game that I can play offline and not have to worry about IAPs or any of that other crap to simply play the game. The controls are intuitive the graphics are solid. The physics are pretty good and the various AI levels provide a good variety of challenges. As a bonus there are tons of settings you can tweak and plenty of different versions of pool and other games like Crokinole to play. After playing it for a while now I am thinking of how to make it even better, if u read the reviews from other players then there are some great ideas u could consider. I think if we had the option to play for coins or even real money then this would be a big hit, also the option to upgrade your player and cues and maybe an online league and competitions. ✓ One of the best pool/snooker sims in the App StoreWow! This is a really excellent simulation. Must say I wasn't too impressed with the ball physics when I played my first game, but then I discovered the settings and found that you can customise every aspect of the ball physics to suit your preference and I've managed to make the snooker spot on realistic. It's not the prettiest pool/snooker game in the App Store visually, although it still looks very nice, but the ability to customise every detail of the game more than makes up for it. Just a few minor niggles, it would be great to play against real AI players instead of the 'computer', it would also be great to play in some kind of structured league or tournament so that you feel like you're actually playing for something instead of a 'pick up and play' quick game. The sounds could do with an overhaul as well, pocket a ball in snooker and it sounds the same as pocketing a ball in pool. Aside from that it's a brilliant game and well worth the 79p price tag..Version: 2.6.5
