✓ No Favoriting, Limited zoom-in, Slow w large librariesWorks relatively decently, as advertised. However, limitations compared with native photos app on the iPhone: - No Favoriting. In fact, it doesn't preserve the fact that you have favored at certain photos, as you import them. - Limited Zoom-in. In the native Photos app, you can zoom in quite far on any photo. You can't zoom in as far in this app. - Takes a little bit too long, when importing from a large photo library. It takes a while just to let you start importing..Version: 9.3
✓ Cannot recover password!!!I have used this app for a while. I set up a recovery email so that in the case that I forget my password I could still use the app. Well I recently forgot my password and the prompt asked me if I would like an email with my password. I said yes and went to find the email. THEY DID NOT SEND ANYTHING. I tried it again several times and still no email. They have my correct email address and it says “message sending”, but I didn’t get anything. (Yes, I checked the spam folder and all the other folders). I sent in a complaint about it and they said that they would get back to me, but I have heard nothing. I’m very frustrated, because I set up the recovery email, so why isn’t it working??.Version: 10.3

✓ I hate the new version of the appThe previous version of this app was very stable between updates and I’ve been able to add and edit large numbers of photos without problems on my Ipad ever since I bought the pro version nearly 3 years ago. Well lo and behold my Ipad somehow turned on auto update in the App Store without my express permission and installs this train wreck of an app. I am unable to move pictures around in my albums without the app crashing and not saving my changes. Also when I scroll through an album random thumbnails will turn white and I have to scroll up or down on the screen to restore the thumbnail images. Restarting my Ipad does nothing to resolve the issues and reinstalling the app is completely unreasonable due to the amount of pictures I’d have to back up somewhere and reinstall. I also am not a fan of the edit toolbar changes. It isn’t as intuitive as the last version. The crop tool in particular is very buggy and the image keeps moving around on my screen when I try to adjust what I want to crop. This is very disappointing because I used this app extensively and there aren’t really any better alternatives on the App Store. I hope someone is actually reading these reviews (although I seriously doubt it) and gets to work on repairing this “update”. Otherwise I think I’m done using this app for good. ✓ Using too much of my spaceHello, Could you please add an option to empty thumbnail catch, it's using so much of my space!! I have a small amount of photos in this app but it uses more than 5Gb of my space! ✓ Charged for the free trialI have been using your app for years now, and I love it and recommend it to my friends. Unfortunately, today I am disappointed that I have been lied to. I clicked on the “free trial” for the Premium, and saw on my bank account that I got charged. I then immediately cancelled my subscription because I do not find this fair at all. But the most serious problem—turning existing files into unreadable empty files—has not been solved; nor has the development team released any statement regarding the glitches and warned customers against updating until the problem is solved. ✓ Good, not greatIt’s a good app for protecting photos, but unfortunately it removes all the information from the photo such as location and time (when and where) it was taken. If you export photo back to normal photo app the date of the photo becomes the date of export. Considering the cost of this app this a massive oversight by the developers..Version: 9.3

✓ A total lossI’ve had and supported this app for years! It started off incredible so I decided to upgrade and get the premium package for a year. One day I was just missing of my catalog! I’ve contacted the developers multiple times! They made me believe that the rest of my catalog wasn’t downloading because of storage so I took it upon myself to purchase a new phone with more storage! Still couldn’t retrieve half of my catalog that was supposedly stored to their cloud service! Still to this day this problem has not be resolved! So purchase at your own risk. ✓ Horrible Update and Horrible SupportI’ve been using the PAID version of this app for 6 years and it was great. But they updated the app 2 weeks ago and it wiped out all of my “decoy” folders -it no longer recognizes my decoy password. “Support” takes forever to reply and when they did, they blamed me for supposedly “forgetting” my own password (which I did not). Their update caused the problem and they don’t care. Disgusting lack of concern on the part of the developer. Look elsewhere for a working app with actual support when you pay for an app like this. ✓ No ResponceI have used photo Vault for a few years now and have used this program to show my clients the pictures I have taken as a photographer. Of course I have other backups of my photos, but, one day I clicked on the program and all my pictures and albums were wiped out for some reason. The very disappointing part is that I wrote there customer support team over five weeks ago and they never did respond to me as to what may have caused this to happen. ✓ Was awesome - Now looking for a new appI have the standard and Pro versions of this app and I never make complaints. I have used this app exclusively for years and have always been very happy with it. It’s sort of “bare bones” but it did what it was supposed to do and did it well. It was easy to import pics just like you want. The only complaint I ever had was that you couldn’t sort or organize folders. Any new folder just gets placed at the end and you can’t make sub-folders. Since applying the last update, it jumbles pics up and they get all unorganized in the import. If you need the pics to be in order, you now have to manually do that after the update. I’ve given the developer 4 months to fix it and nothing. They must know because there are a lot of other complaints about the same thing. If anyone has a recommendation for a good app for securely storing pics let me know..Version: 14.5
