✓ Needs better cluesThe clues don't always seem to match up with the answer, I guess I am looking for better clues.Version: 1.02
✓ AwkwardIt's awkward to move around - to see the whole puzzle. An amazing task - to put all the clues in with the body of the puzzle. This part of the concept is pretty good. Not bad. With all the other crossword puzzles out there, it's hard to compete..Version: 1.03

✓ Restoring purchases?Actually really like the app tbh! Use it to pass the time when I’m bored but was kinda disappointed to see that although I have paid for an upgrade on my iPhone, I’d have to pay again just to have the same puzzles on my iPad! This has annoyed me slightly.Version: 3.17
✓ Used to love this app before the updateBefore the recent update this was my go to game. Easy to play and navigate with 4 different playing levels to choose from. It was all free and nothing to pay for with no ads, but now you can’t use the find error button, solve letter and solve word buttons without watching an advert unless you pay a premium! I also don’t like the new layout and the buttons look really old fashioned unlike before. This game used to be great and I like that it uses British words, phrases and spellings. But now, I’ve deleted the app because I don’t want to waste my time watching ads or paying for something that used to be free..Version: 5.0

✓ Good, but ...Like the layout of this game. It's easy to use as well but as mentioned before, if you solve the puzzle and don't immediately move to the next one you lose out on the other puzzles in that level. Only got to play one easy one as it opened 3 of the same and now it's only available for downloading the upgrade..Version: 1.02

✓ Fonts screwed up in ios13I really like the format of this app and the range of puzzles is good. However there are simply too many errors in both the clues and the answers. Clues are often only half stated or are obscure and sometimes the answers aren’t even real words. “Needly” (for poor) for example. iPadOS 13 seems to have messed up the fonts. ✓ Doesn't actually have the puzzles it says it does.What's there is good, but it's annoying that it promises you 3 puzzles for each difficulty level but only delivers 1. ✓ Frustrating spelling!Excellent idea and format. However, some very odd spellings, not all of which are down to being American! Lots of groups of two letters with no clues - that's just lazy clue-writing (or, worse, the compiler didn't notice!) Some words not even in Oxford English Dictionary, so will be finding a different game to play..Version: 2.2

I'm not a fan of the fact that it is limited, ie: only let's you play three of each level before running out of puzzles. It’s great the app is free - but there needs to be an option to dispense with those ads! They’re much too frequent, far more than any other app I’ve had; which makes it mentally wearying. ✓ Some irritantsA few points: 1. I dispute several clues but can roll with that. 2. Is irritating that time can't be paused for a logout and return: which is how one usually plays a crossword. 3. Is not a high difficulty compared to say Guardian Weekly quick crosswords. 4. Annoying that the puzzle laps under keyboard on iPad, meaning level 4 puzzle is not all visible at once. Frustrating as this is compounded by the blank squares not being marked. In sum, wd like to see these addressed, and a serious level of difficulty introduced. ✓ Crosswor appThe free app only allows u to play 3 games in the same skill category. It then prompts u to upgrade, therefore it's usage is very limited. In addition, there is noway to see what parts of the puzzle you are missing. It only shows percentages completed, so u have to go line by line trying to find where you are missing a letter! ✓ DisappointedI found how you set up your crosswords quite confusing...across & down should both be used. And as for your words & "correct" answers - what dictionary source are you using (ie. Since when does 'cinders' mean the same as 'ash'?!?! A wood or coal fire burns to cinders & the residue is ash.....this is only one example). As of now, I'm deleting this app....Version: 2.7

✓ Wrong screen orientationI really dislike that all the app navigation screens are portrait orientation only. The actual crosswords will rotate to landscape, but everything else is portrait, so you are constantly turning your ipad around. Also dislike that I can't move on to the next puzzle until I solve the one I'm doing. I like to have multiple puzzles on the go, and keep coming back to them. In summary... this free version does not inspire me to pay for either of the paid versions. Still looking for the perfect crossword app, happy to pay!.Version: 2.2

However I've never come across a word puzzle before that places 2 letters next to each other without forming a word, thought that was a crossword crime!? Also when I complete the first puzzle in a category, or abandon it in order to move onto the next (within the same difficulty category) it simply restarts the same one I've done. ✓ Not bad but let down by careless mistakes...Good in lots of ways - good selection of words, clues generally good and I like the different difficulty levels. But... Some of the clues are very odd and seem to have very little connection to the solution. American spellings can be annoying, but nowhere near as annoying as grammatical mistakes in clues that distort the meaning of the clue (eg 'sweeps friend', as opposed to 'sweep's friend'). Good as a free download, but would not pay to upgrade.Version: 2.2
