✓ Gettin' ScurvySaw this app for free on a free app of the site. It is similar to a game I used to play so I downloaded it. I didn't look at the other reviews first and didn't realize that this paid version has banner ads in it. A total battery drain and distraction. ✓ Need to rework "difficulty" for crying out loud, you simply can't win!Great game, if the dev manages to get over punishing the players by giving them absolutely useless pieces in later stages and rendering the game unwinnable (stages19+ are impossible unless you somehow lucked out, somehow.) Difficulty isn't about making the players do nothing, it's making the players do more work, be more perfect, but they are still able to do the same things as before. More hp for the players to take down, a certain condition (x combo) for clearing, but not trap the player in a completely unusable stage and 30 second lockout. Reduce the useless fuse ends to 15-20 secs, or put a button that clears all useless fuse end and give that a cool down timer, either seconds or shot requirement. Needs to actually play the game all the way through yourself more, luck isn't useful when it's all rigged in the AI's favor since they deal instant damage while you have to wait for the cannonballs to fly over. And make sure notifications are actually turned off if users choose it, or if there isn't an option yet, add it. Also remove the full sized ads that pops up in the main menu, it's intrusive and annoying and causes more negative feelings than help sell more products. I for one won't be trying Empire Online due to your intrusive ad placements. Looks like the full-sized ads are replaced with ads at top and bottom of the screen, less annoying but still feel just as greedy, the game is still not balanced, get that fixed and more people might actually want to keep playing for longer..Calyn43xVersion: 1.7

✓ Decent game until...Until you find that their 'difficulty' in story mode hinges on giving you nothing but curved pieces and frayed ends (unusable pieces) that won't disappear until you do nothing for 30 seconds (and I mean nothing as the bits won't auto-clear if you make a single connection.) In 30 seconds, the stage mob can reduce your health by HALF. If you spent any time prior snaking a curved connection before this situation happens (and it happens A LOT), you're probably dead. ✓ Cannot turn off Push NotificationsFairly entertaining game. Would have probably finished it but the constant Push notifications were very annoying. Disabling the notifications under the settings menu or under the game specific settings did not work. I tried every option possible to stop the push notifications (I consider myself knowledge about the iPhone 4s and it's settings menu). They continued to come and some even come in the wee hours of the morning. Not recommended even if it's free. I deleted mine and hid it so I won't have to see it again.
