✓ Great Way to Backup ContactsI know that many phone services use the Cloud to backup contacts but then you run into the problem needing to buy more Cloud storage to accommodate pictures, videos, or larger files along with your contacts. I found this app that also syncs my email with my contacts so I can make sure to find the information wherever I want to look. I had to replace my phone and once I got the new phone I downloaded the app and re-synced my phone with all my groups and contact information in just a few seconds. Great app!.Version: 9.4.4

✓ Finally, a sync between iCloud and Google Contacts!I use iCloud as my primary contacts, but because I use Google Voice (for calling/texts), it is important to keep my iCloud contacts copied into Google Contacts, so they show up in Google Voice. I had been manually exporting them, but Google Contacts chokes if you (after experimenting) you try to upload more than 99 contacts at a time. So wrote a script to break them into groups of 99 contacts (I have thousands of them) and manually importing them into Google Contacts. That is dozens of imports I need to do, and I need to do this monthly or more often as needed. This takes quite a bit of work, even after writing the script to break up the contacts. I installed Contacts Sync, set up the two accounts, made it one way iCloud -> Google Contacts, and told it to sync. It took just a couple of minutes, and was so easy. I verified it worked, and it even copied over the contact pictures (something I lacked before). So if you have a need like this, know that this solution works and is very very easy 😎 Kudos for Contacts Sync!.Version: 9.3.8

✓ Easy fix for a very frustrating problemI could not get my 1500 google contacts to show up on my iPhone. I followed the directions on both the google and Apple websites, and even spent an hour on the phone with Apple tech support, all to no avail. ✓ Very UsefulHave found it very helpful to keep contacts organized and it even keeps your groups/categories as well, which is awesome. Really like having an option to export contacts as well. The downside is syncing between devices. If you make changes on your laptop and make changes on your phone there is going to be lost changes or contacts. I suppose this is a hazard in general. This is less likely to happen if you remember to sync between changes between uses. Changes are made on the laptop BEFORE making changes on the phone or another laptop make sure to sync. Then make new changes. Essentially sync between uses and/or changes. Even doing this I have had lost info. Nothing is perfect, but this really is a life saver and gets the job done without having 3rd party storage on a cloud, Apple, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. Plus, it's very simple to use and uncomplicated..Version: 7.4.9

✓ Works great for meI have a simple strategy. I always add new contacts to my iPhone. Then I use this app to send those contacts to Gmail on my PC. Finally, I get on my iPad and copy them from my PC down to my iPad. I don't do any merging. Whatever is on my iPhone REPLACES what is on my PC Gmail account, and that REPLACES what is on my iPad. This simple approach works great for me. Of course it means I have to be disciplined and always put new contacts on my iPhone first. I had to format / reset my iPhone and download all my setting including my contacts from iCloud, but to my surprise lot of my recent contacts were missing on iCloud. I have bought the manual sync package, the only caveat being have to sync manually. ✓ Perfect for IOS devices AND Google contactsSurprisingly, IOS does not provide for access to contacts that were imported as vcf cards to Google. They can be seen in the GMAIL WEB client, but not in IOS mail. Also, if you have an imported record with an eror with either product, they do not indicate which one. I was completely trapped by various product limitations. Needless to say, this app addressed my concerns quickly and reliably. I also find it useful beyond simply fixing my initial problem. ✓ Consistently correctApple iOS's built-in Google contact sync proved to be surprisingly bad. A contact deleted or merged on Google would soon reappear because iOS sync'ed incorrectly. These issues went away when I replaced it with Contact Sync. I've used it for several months without a glitch. ✓ Great app - worth the investmentI rarely pay for apps or write reviews, but this app has been great. At work I use Google suite and I use Gmail for my personal contacts. I was previously exporting and importing files to and from my personal and work accounts, and then eliminating duplicates in Google contacts. This was very time consuming. In spite of the fact both accounts are Google accounts and I was using Google tools, this worked very poorly. Names would often get moved to a different field, etc. since starting to use this app, the process is nearly seamless. Since I have well over 1000 contacts, I bought the paid version. It is simple to use, synchronized everything flawlessly including groups, and it is lightning fast (my contacts list has several hundred items, and it took seconds to process everything). It also provides good flexibility in deciding what to copy and what to merge (when you need this flexibility), gives you a report exactly what records it intends to sync and how, and allows you to change your mind just before you give the final OK to sync. I can't think of anything that can be improved in this app. None of the other "sync" apps that I tried were both fast and able to handle groups accurately. I installed it both on my ipad running ios6 and iphone 4 running ios5 and both worked perfectly. And it still works flawlessly on ios8! ✓ An app I’ve come to depend onSometimes you just need an app to do one thing well. In the case of Contacts Sync, the name says it all. It seamlessly updates all the contact changes you’ve made on any device and makes sure all your other devices have the same info. For reasons I can’t fathom iCloud does a pretty poor job of this. My only complaint is that although I have it set for auto-sync, it will sometimes stop syncing for no reason I can discern (and, yes, I’m aware it needs to be running as a background app in order for the sync to take place). Sometimes I don’t notice the syncing has stopped until I go try to find a contact that I *know* I put in, and it is missing from one of my devices. To be fair, Contact Sync will notify you when auto-sync has not occurred for a while, but I still don’t understand why it stops in the first place. Other than that little nit-picky thing, I really love the app and have come to rely on it..Version: 9.6.0
