✓ WorthlessTwo major problems with this app: (1) It doesn’t recognize stations spelled with an umlaut, which makes it useless in many cases, and (2) It doesn’t tell you which way to go on a given line. That is, of course, a vital piece on information, and to find out you’ve got to trace that little blue line all the way to the edge of the map. What a pain!! Get Fahrinfo Berlin instead. It avoids the two pitfalls above, and also suggests often-faster bus routes between U- or S-Bahn stations..Version: 1.3
✓ The gift that keeps on takingAs another reviewer wrote, first you pay $3 for what was once free before ios 11, and you still get ads. even worse, they want you to pay an ADDITIONAL $4 for the ‘ad-free’ version. UGH.Version: 2.1.0
✓ Rubbish. Doesn’t update closuresPlatforms, routes and stations that are undergoing years of maintenance are not marked as unusable/ bus replacement in use. Really stupid and really affects usage of app. Even upgraded to see if this was a premium function. Poor.Version: 2.2.1

✓ Great but fatal flawUseful simple app, rendered useless by the pop-up noisy ad that appears only when you are in a crowded place needing urgent directions. ✓ Berlin SubwayThis is an excellent little app for SUBWAYS ONLY. It figures out the route very quickly, but it doesn’t tell you which direction of train to take. They all go from one end station to another, and that info is missing. So when it tells you to take A-->U8-->B, transfer, B-->U5-->C which direction of U8 and U5 to take....Version: 1.0
✓ Don’t buy the ‘remove ads’ featureIt doesn’t work - you still get advertisements, and if you contact support they say it’s Apple’s fault. A good way to rip you off for $2.99 without doing any work. I liked the free Berlin metro but they didn’t update it for iOS 11 so I bought this one. It’s ok, nothing stellar and it still has those ads..Version: 2.0.6

✓ Only somewhat usefulBerlin's subway stations are unmanned and confusing. You need help, but this app isn't it. The app is built on data taken from a static map. I know this, because it has directed me to take line numbers that no longer exist. Also, it won't give you a platform number or direction to stand at. So it gets you to the nearest station then you're on your own. In order to figure out which way you're going on a line, you need to read an electronic display which usually (but not always) shows the last station on your line in your direction of travel. The route info you're given by the app omits this crucial detail. When you click on the map to display your route, it zooms right in to the first station. So you have to manually zoom and pan to even see your route, and then follow the colored line to the end in both directions to see the station terminus name past your destination so you know what train to get on! Get a current paper map instead of this app. At least the info will be current..Version: 1.3
✓ Overly intrusive adsA good app, but I can't recommend. Over intrusive full screen pop-up ads that switch you to the App Store - awful. I get that it needs to be ad supported, but not these. Go get the BVG app, it's good enough..Version: 2.0.3

✓ Beware..This app is useful but having used it for 3 days in Berlin I’ve come to the conclusion that Apple maps is far better. This app gives you a ‘popular route’ but Apple maps gives you live up to date options. So this app will get you to where you’re going but not as quickly or with as many options as Apple maps. It tried to send me on a slow route with a 10 minute wait; Apple maps gave me the option of a quicker train departing in 2 minutes..Version: 2.1.0

✓ False InformationWhile the map was accurate, the route planner was not. It told us to take the S3 to Alexanderplatz, but this route does not exist! It also does not explain which direction to take the trains in, not every platform has screens displaying this information. We ended up using this as just a map rather than an interactive tool..Version: 1.5
