✓ Incredibly Addictive!Doodle Jump has to be one of the most popular, addictive and simple games on the app store to date. This game is great for people of all ages but especially children as there aren't many instructions/rules other than to tilt your device and reach the highest point you possibly can while avoiding all obstacles such as little monsters and black holes. The only problem with Doodle Jump is the £3 price tag although it's probably worth it because of the amount of time you will spend on it. You simply won't be able to put it down..Version: 1.1

✓ Doesn't go from side to side wellThis is a fantastic port of Doodle Jump, but when, on an iPhone, you would have to jump off one side and appear on the other side, you just die here because none of the platforms are close enough to the sides. Apart from this, a fantastic game, and hopefully it will be fixed in a later version. I also hope it gets the same free updates as the iPhone Doodle Jump, and not abandoned like Doodle Jump Xmas, which despite being promised free updates just like the original, is still on version 1.0..Version: 1.0

There could be pencil platforms, ruler platforms, spitball ammo, paper airplanes flying around, and teacher monsters. Doodler could sport a school uniform or band outfit. Store: band outfit, cheer leader, jock, nerd, etc. 2) a make-up theme! With multicolor lipstick platforms, tissues for ammo, girl monsters, and purse jetpacks. Doodler wears a teen girl's outfit. Store: girls with different hair, girls with different clothes, etc. 3) an art theme! There could be paintbrush platforms, paintball ammo, and art critic monsters. Doodler could wear a paint-splattered artist's outfit, complete with a beret and mustache. Store: artists with different beards and mustaches, multicolor berets, painter, sculptor. 4) a baseball theme! There would be baseball bat platforms, baseball ammo, and umpire monsters. Doodler would wear a baseball player's outfit. Store: multi color baseball uniforms, catcher's outfit, fielder's outfit (with glove), batter's outfit (with bat and batting helmet). 5) more stores! For the ocean theme: scuba diver, swimmer, spear fisher, octopus, starfish, clownfish. For the easter theme: chick outfit, easter egg outfit, hatching chick outfit, basket outfit. ✓ Very Good Game!Doodle jump is and has been my favorite game since I got it a while ago. I definitely agree with everyone else that it just gets better and better! The new ice update was very good with the blizzard idea, however, the icicle platforms could be improved. I know this update level is supposed to be extra tricky, as there are blizzards and no propeller hats or jetpacks, but the icicle platforms are too hard for me as they are not equal sizes as the normal ones. It will come up as $0.99 and you can buy it. The iPad app is $2.99, but you can not play multiplayer. When the app downloads, click on it and a tiny screen will pop up. On the bottom right corner, there is a button that says 2x. Click on that and it will come up as a full screen. It doesn't have the HD vision the iPad app has, but now you can play with your buds! Doodle jump is an awesome game, but I think they should update the iPad app so you can play multiplayer. Now, if you just love doodle jump and just want to play it in HD all the time, get this app, it's great! But I don't think it was worth the extra $2.00 you have to pay to get it in HD. One frustrating matter is some of the contrived failures--that is at times a particular cycle appears that guarantees a dead end no matter what measures are attempted. Also, I can't figure out the "crab monster". He retreats upward and it seems he can't be defeated, even blasts have no effect. Might I suggest some levels: cat, castle, magic, volcano, candy land, Hawaiian, zoo, and a special level: waterfall, going downwards, and set in the awe inspiring Hawaii. ✓ Fun, but hard to holdDoodle jump is always super-fun, but this version for iPad is cumbersome compared to the phone version because of the size and weight of the device. The levels are pretty much the same with the exception of the multi-player racetrack level, which is a good improvement - it's nice to have the ability to easily try out the multi player version without having a friend in range. Otherwise, the doodle jump graphics are great, and they put out good upgrades pretty often. All in all, well worth the couple of bucks it cost..Version: 1.1
✓ Finally Arrived! But...Now I'm not one to usually write a review but for a game as great as doodle jump I would make an exception. The first thing I noticed when I played was just how amazing it looks. The game honestly just looks better on the iPad than on my little iPod screen. Next the controls feel great and it handles nicely, the game description sums things up pretty well. My only problem with it is that for $2.99 I am getting the same game I paid for already just blown up. I mean adding in a theme to the multiplayer is all that was newly added and it was good but overall the same thing as the iPod touch/iPhone version. Even the level themes are just recycled from the other version of the game. Feels like a rip to pay for something I could just stretch 2x and have the same experience. I have owned the iPod version since it came out and know that they will update the crap out of this game. The only thing I would recommend is to set it apart from from the other version by adding iPad only features like 5 finger touch or something. ✓ AddictiveI have various versions of Doodle Jump on my iPhone and enjoy them all. Initially, they are very addictive and deserve the positive comments. However, you do get bored having to start from the beginning every time. Perhaps changing the game into stages might be an improvement. IPad version is the same basic setup. Disappointed to find that there is only one stage. The iPhone version currently has nine and more are added periodically. Surprisingly, it is slightly more difficult to play on the iPad and feels cumbersome. This is probably due to the size of the pad and not a game issue. I would have liked to see AirPlay capability and possibly multi-player. Perhaps in the future...... Excellent game, well worth the £1.99..Version: 1.5

✓ This is a great app!This game is great, and different, and really fun! I've had this app for 8 months, and I can always keep coming back to it. The only one complaint I have is that the original mode has lots of features and patterns, (The platforms you can move around, the platforms that stay still until you jump on them, the teleporting platform, places where you have to jump on monsters/springs to keep going etc.) and the other modes don't. I get that you won't add these into the soccer, and multiplayer, and pirate themes, that's fine. But it would be nice if you added them into the underwater, and space, and graveyard and themes that really only change what things look like.
