✓ Poor version..If someone has this on their phone and is tempted to buy don't bother. The dimensions of the iPad screen are different to an iPhone, and instead of changing the levels to suit the iPad, the old levels have been plonked in, leaving a bar on either side with no jumping blocks: check it out on you tube. The result is that jumping thought the screen becomes much harder, especially when avoiding black holes. It's also very difficult to shoot directionally due to the size of the screen. If you don't have it on your phone, then perhaps it is a good app, but for me, it's an iPhone app which has lazily been grafted onto the iPad..Version: 1.3

✓ Great game, but too similar to iPhone versionConsidering I've racked up 21 hours playtime on the iPhone! (eek!) I felt I had to get the iPad version. But to be brutally honest, I'm somewhat disappointed. Really felt they could have done a bit more to make it work with the iPad. For a start, a horizontal mode would be much better. The iPads too clunky to hold in portrait. Still a great game, but doesn't offer much more than what you get on the iPhone..Version: 1.0

✓ I have to say I dont love itI have had the iPhone version since the beginning, but this version feels like a port and everything just seems far too large like I can't get the device far enough from my face. The iPhone version is much better -- you can really tell this was not designed for the iPad. I am not impressed. Also as in the early iPhone version there seem to be numerous scenarios that are not survivable in the game. I am having a lot of trouble at 37-38k....Version: 1.0

✓ SIDES!!!Would be 5* but they need to use the whole screen effectively, not using the edge of the screen as the end can get confusing and cause you to lose really quickly, especially if you've played this on a iPhone or iPod, where they do use the whole screen. If they sought it out it'll be 5* but until then....Version: 1.1

✓ Awkward on the iPadAs much as I like Doodle Jump on the iPhone/iPod, I have to say: it's not really suited for the iPad as the extra weight makes it too easy to over-steer(tilt), while the size of the screen makes it too easy to miss while shooting at monsters (never mind the fact that letting go with one hand to tap the screen usually results in an inadvertent tilt, so you miss the platform anyway!).Version: 1.0

✓ Exploitation of ConsumersA rising trend in many app store games is paying for the full version of a game but then even after the consumer has provided payment for what is supposedly better than that quality of the iphone app. Consumers expect that when they buy an IPAD app they get a product that is customized for the 2048 by 1536 display of the ipad but unexpectedly it is just upscaled like so many other apps out there. If you still wish to buy this game (it is still fun) go and buy the iphone version for 1/3 of the cost of this..Version: 1.5.1

✓ Hard to play, but still very fun!Now that this app is now on ipad2 it is more harder to control, but as with iPhone or iPod it is easier because you play with one hand. When you shoot it's very hard to kill the monsters with small hands like myself but it's still very fun. I don't think it's worth the price though..Version: 1.3

✓ Better suited for smaller devicesFirst off, I love Doodle Jump on my iPhone. I play it all the time. However, this game it different, in a bad way, on the iPad. First thing I noticed, the game is much more difficult to hold properly in one hand and move the character around. On the iPhone, it fits easy and you can tilt with no trouble. The iPad is just too big and heavy for this. Second are the large borders. On the iPhone, the platforms go all the way across the screen. There is no margin which the platforms do not occupy. In the iPad version, there is about a one inch margin on both sides that are empty and too easy to fall through..Version: 1.3

✓ Good, however...Yes, it's doodle jump, arguably one of the best games on the market for the iPod touch and iPhone. Although it is still good on the iPad, I do however feel as though it's lost some of its buzz and hype. Personally, I think this is because the game is much harder to play on the iPad because of the size of it, not sure if anyone Agrees. I do feel in addition also that perhaps the price should be slightly less if you already have bought the game for your iPhone etc..just a Thought. ✓ What's the point in this if your going to need the iPhone version?I'm rating this app 3 stars because I order to play online with game centre you have to buy the iPhone one with I have done so twice the money for nothing I do love the iPad graphics but what's the point if your going to have to use the iPhone one tut tut tut making me having to x2 the game making the graphics horrible can't do anything about it already bought it unless I get a refund on an update or two .
