I've tried other apps, but can hear rhythms or where someone has spliced a short audio together to make it longer and that's so disruptive I can't fall asleep. I haven't found that to be the case here. This app allows you to mix the different sounds available to actually create your ideal sleep sound. You can control the volume of each sound, how long the mix plays or set it as an alarm to wake you up. I honestly expected to delete it, like so many others before, but so far so good! I work alone for the most part and love having the Tebetan singing bowl chiming in the background all day and I'm very partial to the thunderstorm setting for sleep time. I often have an active mind late at night, worsened by working very odd shifts, so my body doesn't have a regular routine - I've found this app to be great for helping relax the mind at sleep time and as there are screen dimming features and a variable timer, the app can be set to play for the desired length of time and switch off when done....
