✓ Annoyed with latest updates! 👎Have been playing this for a while, even spend some extra cash to buy space bucks for upgrades, more ships etc. I really liked this game as it is a very good, basic space shooter. But must admit the latest update really annoys me in more than one way. Firstly, now you have one life instead of three or four or whatever it was before. More ships to buy with space bucks have suddenly appeared, but THE MOST ANNOYING thing of the latest update are the advertising films that the app flips to at the end of each level. ✓ Setting a BAD precident with ads in gamingI know this game is "free" (a term used very loosely in the app store these days) and expectations shouldn't be too high to begin with, but this was once a pretty good game that did justice to the original and I could overlook the fact that they wanted you to pay for certain upgrades/levels within the game. But apparently that wasn't enough to support the developers because now they sell ads that appear to an obnoxious degree throughout the game. And not only static ads, but VIDEO ads that interrupt the flow of the game and is a complete turnoff. I LOVE Atari and generally support every iOS release they put out but I won't be downloading any more of their "free" games and encouraging this type of product. I would MUCH rather pay for the initial download and be rid of in-app purchases and annoying pop-up ads. In fact, I think it's safe to say that your advertisers actually DISCOURAGE me from buying their product by pimping their goods this way. ✓ Fun but crashes WAY too oftenIn particular, it crashes shortly after starting the game, which means those expensive power-ups are gone, and you get to spend more. This is with nothing else running in the background, recent reboot, no temp issues and no problems on other apps. ✓ Improved, but with issuesSome power-ups like ice and hellfire weapons are much better than the first version, and together with other tweaks I noticed, I think make for a more balanced game now. I now notice an ability to earn space bucks, which I think was a good move. However, sound has cut out on me and won't reset. Rating would be higher if that was fixed..Version: 1.1
✓ Changed...for the worseThe latest update increased by tenfold the number of crystals you need for any upgrade. This accomplishes the goal of making progression in the game entirely a paying affair. Might as well charge for the game and be honest about it..Version: 1.4.1

✓ Wasted opportunityThis is a great twin stick space shooter which is let down by an over use of IAP. Why can't devs just make a game, charge one price and that's it... Nobody could read some of those lines fast enough! ✓ Bad omega techFun but game keeps crashing and you lose recently mined ore. also, omega tech is expensive, only lasts one round, and from what i could tell does not work. i loaded my tech into slot, then during game tried pressing the tab and the d@mn thing would not turn on, activate or whatever. nowhere does the game say this is unavailable on free version.
