Also you cannot make any amendments to anything you store on this app without having to pay the above. I came across another app that allows you to scan as many barcodes and make as many amendments you like. All for free. Strangely when you manually enter the barcode it sometimes find the cd but much info is missing and you have to input yourself. ✓ Lots of promiseOn the plus site, this app has a nice interface and might get better. Not so good are the constant crashes, not being able to search other then by album title. If you enter the artist by first or last name that's how they are sorted and one gas to manually change the lot. If we need to move our collections to another server or something so we don’t lose support if this app is ending or closing down or something that would be nice. But I think most people interested in a program like this are going to be those with expansive record collections featuring a wide variety of artist types across many labels, many of them indie. Is it on a small label that is readily available in record stores (like Metropolis, Inside Out, or Touch and Go)? Forget it. Highly respected but lesser known indie artists (Dirty Three)? Not likely. More than 15 years old (Dan Folgelberg)? Nope. The latest Black Eyed Peas record? You're in good shape. Maybe. If the developers are relying on their users to build their database for them, they didn't think this through very well. I didn't download this app to manually enter hundreds of titles. ✓ Previously Hooked in Motion Not Supported by Runner AppsI was advised that the previous developer of iCollect (Hooked in Motion) had been taken over by Sort It! Apps and I would be able to import from iCollect database to the new version. Has not happened. ✓ ABSOLUTE RUBBISH...DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEYI paid for both the Windows and iphone app and both are rubbish. A number of my CD's werent recognised and some such as Kylie Minogues Ultimate CD showed a different artist and wouldnt let me change it. I tried to add more music on 5th August (After I lost it all during their unannounced week long maintenance in July) and again a large number of CD's randonly dissappeared. The windows program is slow and continually freezes requiring multiple restarts before working and the iphone app takes ages to sync with any changes made in the windows program. This app is a waste of time as it doesnt seem to keep all your inputed CD's and wont let you change details. I have tried to email them however they keep sending back automated replys about the maintenance in July 2014..Version: 4.5.2

✓ Cool App!First off, if a majority of your records are from the 50s, 60s, and 70s - you’re gonna be entering a lot of artist and album titles into the search bar looking for your albums. I guess barcode technology came out in the 80s - which is about when I started record collecting. I’d say about 9/10 albums I own have barcodes. Only issue is that the database is not up to date with some of the newer releases, which is fine. Honestly, the joy of this app has been going through my entire collection (700+ and still counting!) Even if the entire entry doesn't disappear, details such as country, album type etc frequently do. The barcode scanner (for which you pay extra) seems to recognise about 1 in 5 barcodes, and doesn't recognise a single Australian barcode. It can be a bit "sticky" but I have the patience of a saint and can wait for it to save some cd's. Opened the app the next day and my entire collection was gone. No where to be found. Get this app if you love to waste your time entering all the albums.
