✓ None Due!For last few weeks, it doesn’t matter where I am, whenever I try to search for buses at a bus stop it just comes back with the response - “none due”. I thought it was because an update was due, but even after updating it, it doesn’t come back with results. Although there was a time when this app was really accurate. Not to miss, ads don’t help..Version: 2.5.1
✓ Could be great but a significant, fundamental flawThis app could be good but there is a really significant flaw: unless you know the exact name ***and*** bus stop letter it is very poor for planning. With a bus route diversion, we had to spend more than 30 minutes searching for an alternative stop to check times. However, if you drag the map the area or focus does not automatically repopulate with stops (which is the utterly logical way of doing this) but you have to type in street names (and the naming of stops is not always logical - probably not the app developer’s fault). We were driven nuts trying to find a stop with live times in this case and ended up downloading a competing app to get the information. There’s a lot to like about this app but for forward planning from stops not within a few hundred metres of your current location I would give it a zero stars if I could. Fix that and I’d give it a 5. And yes, I’m well aware of the Route Planning feature: it requires knowledge of street/stop names. Hopeless..Version: 2.9.0
✓ Video ads? What’s that bad taste in my mouth?I used this occasionally in the past and enjoyed setting up favourite bus stops. HOWEVER I’ve noticed the apps starts playing ads and then you accidentally click on the ad taking you to some other video. This feel like extortion. I mean I’m trying to confirm how to get somewhere in a hurry and then there are full screen videos popping up. And I’m accidentally clicking on ads that seem to last too long. Am I using up all my data on this crap? I certainly have paid for many apps but...probably not this one as it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I use it..Version: 2.5.1
✓ Great idea poorly executedA brilliant concept for an app, and who couldn’t like a real-time London Bus timetable in your pocket but this particular app is so poorly coded that it’s slow to the point of being frustratingly annoying. If you need what this app offers then look elsewhere at the moment at least until this particular app has had a ground up coding rewrite..Version: 2.3.0

✓ Rubbish app don’t buy!The developers description sounded so good but experience of use leaves me wishing I could demand a full refund. 1) At the point of declining ad free you are confronted with a notice suggesting that you will not have access to a fully functional app i.e. missing out on hundreds of pieces of functional data. 2) When first searching for bus route E11 that has been an established route in Ealing since the 1960s, it came up with a route in Leytonstone labeled E11. 3) The next attempt this time came up with a list that included the correctly located E11, but the route neglected to show many well known stops in the Hanwell area. I was trying to help an elderly relative who lives in a street where he and I know the bus runs so that he could get to a local optician on the same route. Not worth the money, absolute useless rubbish!.Version: 2.5.1
✓ Works okIs so dependent on your knowing the bus stop number. I wish I could just get the closest stop to me. Used to have a bus app that was perfect for that but they updated it and ruined it. This is probably better than the others. It doesn’t seem able to find the nearby stop when you change locations..Version: 2.6.2
✓ Ads are obnoxiousI have no problem with ads, since they allow the developer to make money. But unfortunately on this app they happen right at the time you need to know the next bus within the next few seconds, thus making the app unusable. I’m deleting it and finding another one— sorry..Version: 2.7.3
✓ Atrocious adsThe ads are atrocious. Not only are they noisy and overlong, but I usually have to click “get” several times and go to the App Store for the games being advertised before actually getting past them because the button to go to the bus app doesn’t usually work the first few times. I assure you I have zero interest in downloading these apps and there is nothing like being in a real rush to get somewhere and having to sit through Word Screech or Candy Chaos or whatever you call these eyesores. I would assume that whoever left positive reviews did so before the ads were added. Also, the bus times are sometimes wrong..Version: 2.7.9

✓ Great if you have wireless data, useless otherwise.This would be a great application for London travelers if it could at least cache the bus schedule for the day or week. Unfortunately, it requires a wireless connection to work. Good for locals, not good for tourists..Version: 1.3
✓ Best London bus app but not perfectGenerally reliable and accurate. Handy sync with tube app and Oyster balance. Has had intermittent outages where bus times not available, and one instance of incorrect route that has not been corrected even though I notified authors and they acknowledged error. Could have better integration with google maps and search funtionality. Still even with these small issues, it's the most handy London bus app I've found. And free..Version: 1.3

✓ Unintuitive and clunky - use a different appThis is not the best app for London bus times. The most frustrating thing for me is the adverts which pop up in full screen when you open the app - if you’re running for a bus and need to check what time it’s coming, or need to figure out which bus to get quickly, the last thing you want is to find the hidden X to close the ad before you can see your bus times. Obviously this is to encourage you to pay for ad free, but it makes it not fit for purpose. It’s also quite clunky and not very intuitive. For example, bus times don’t appear in the order they’re arriving, so if you want to see which bus is coming first, you have to scroll down the list. Then if you want to go and check the bus times for a different stop on your bus route, whereas some apps have a very smooth transition, this one is very clunky and takes several presses to get to where you want. All in all, there are better apps out there. Definitely don’t pay for ad free, as there are alternative apps which display ads in a way that doesn’t stop you from doing the very thing the app is supposed to do..Version: 2.7.4
✓ Annoying advertsGreat app but the adverts are a nightmare, not only are they far to long but they pop up and take over the whole screen just before you get the information you need then they make it extremely hard to close them. Many a time felt like throwing the phone.Version: 2.9.0
✓ Could and Should be GreatI paid for the ad-free version of this app because it was solid in design and usefulness and I used it twice daily at least. Then the developers added a silly shake-for-playlist feature which cannot be disabled. Believe me, if you’re running for a bus and need to check the app quickly only to find the Playlist screen has appeared yet again (and is really fiddly to dismiss) because you have been running or handling your phone in a hurry, it’s beyond infuriating. Who uses a bus times app to listen to music anyway? The iPhone’s own Music app is far better. At the very least users should be given the option to disable it then all would be great again. Until then, I’d suggest going with TFL’s own Bus Times app instead..Version: 2.3.1

✓ New update is confusingI used to love this app and it was very easy to use but the new update has made it very confusing to work out when your next bus is coming. It’s also not entirely accurate as sometimes it may says that no buses are due but one comes in the next few minutes. I just want it to go back to before when the app was understandable and accurate..Version: 2.4.3

✓ Advertising issuesAds are too invasive - in London travel decisions often need to be made quickly. Stubbornness prevents me paying to a developer that hasn't found a better way to implement ads. On the plus side, the tight focus on bus makes the interface less cluttered than Citymapper. The ability to link stops would be welcome to help decisions about where to catch bus based on next arrivals..Version: 2.1.4
✓ Annoying AdsNot only do the ads appear too frequently, they are long, sometimes require many clicks to close and still sometimes redirect to the advertiser and often cause the app to freeze. ✓ Used to live this app…I’ve used this app for years, it’s always been reliable up to the point that TfL provide accurate data. But since the last update I my use of it is constantly interrupted by pop up ads. I’m not paying a premium to use a bus arrival time app. There are other apps offering the same without pop ups or there is the TfL website.Version: 2.9.6
✓ Don’t use this appThis may be the worst app I have ever had the misfortune of using. I don’t usually write horrible reviews, in fact this is my first, but this app has wasted hours of my life at this point. Not only does the app track buses that don’t exist leaving you standing at bus stops waiting for ages at a time, but it also misses buses that are actually arriving leaving you missing buses you easily could’ve made. Along with this you cannot use the app for more than 20 seconds without being interrupted by a long and annoying advert which is so frustrating when you want information quickly. ✓ UnintuitiveThis is one of the most unintuitive apps I ever used. Not useful because I’m never quite sure what I’m looking at. I just want to get from point a to point b or I want to see a map with bus routes and my relative location. It probably does that but it ain’t easy baby..Version: 2.5.1
✓ The ads stop it from workingThis used to be so good. But now the ads (all games) are very long. I don't want to wait several minutes in the freezing cold with an even more freezing wind before knowing whether to wait at the bus stop I'm at or to move to another bus stop. Even worse, an ad is now insisting that I play the game, "How old is your brain"? So the ad has broken the app. I'll have to delete it then reinstall it. This is the pits. ✓ Ok but…It’s ok but when my bus was 22mins LATE (not the apps fault) I wasn’t able to take another bus because I didn’t know what route it would take or how many stops it would do before getting to my destination. So, not very helpful in some situations..Version: 2.8.0
✓ Fine But Annoying AdsThis app is fine. But the ads... it’s absolutely ridiculous. The second you open the app a video ad pops up. You search for your bus, another ad. It’s relentless. ✓ Sporadic cuts out just when need it and annoying advertsI use buses a lot, when this works it’s good. However it often doesn’t work. It can’t find the stop or suddenly just cuts out and the advert comes just as it’s about to tell me how long the bus is and usually I have a min to get to the stop I have missed so many buses because of the timing of these adverts..Version: 2.5.1
✓ Not impressedI purchased this app thinking it would help me with my bus journey little i knew how unhelpful this app is. Most of the time the bus timetables are not available or the route planner can not find a journey. It doesn’t tell you if busses are not running from an station - a simple service that apple map has. ✓ Incorrect/Outdated TimetablesOne of the timetables for a bus I planned to take did not match up with the actual timetable at the bus station. Because of this I was late for work. I rarely give 1 star reviews, and tend to give 2-3 star reviews when there is a single issue with an app, but when an app fails in doing the one job it is designed for, in this case giving me correct bus times so I can plan a route, then something needs to be changed..Version: 2.6.2
✓ Adds very intrusiveThe adds opening and make you wait to see the bus times are so intrusive!Also those adds makes the app very unresponsive and slow on iphone 5s. I don't mind adds but please put only the ones you see in the top or bottom of the screen, not the full screen ones that always appears when you need to check the times in a hurry. ✓ Deteriorating as an appHave now downloaded Bus Times (watch with bus icon in the middle) much more effective! I recommend those you haven’t already to do the same. The developers primary concern is evidently £££ and not functionality. Started off as a great app but now you can barely use it. Constantly crashes, constant inaccurate bus times, and flooded with adverts within 1 second of opening the app. It has become so irritating to use the app because you are constantly disrupted by ads in the developers desperate bid to make you buy the ad-free version. ✓ Loyal customer for a few years with a complaintI’ve been enjoying this app for quite a while now. I have even bought the pod version that’s how useful I find it however it’s been a few weeks now that the app seems not to be providing accuracy in one of my bus routes the 405 from Croydon to Redhill. Not sure what the reason is but while the app doesn’t show times available or even 20 mints City mapper seems to have the information synchronised. ✓ Keeps saying none dueI paid for the full version of the app to get rid of the adverts and it used to work fine. However, it has started to repeatedly and incorrectly state that no buses are due when in fact they are. This is really disappointing. Only started happening a few weeks ago. ✓ Poor performanceBeen using this app for a long time with only issue being exceptionally annoying adds, they come up over the app, and start playing loud music without ability to immediately stop it, not great when no hurry to find a bus or even less so if you try to use in a place where noise is not welcomed... However, the app stopped working recently and now it’s a hit and miss, it does not load, it can’t find stops near by and generally does not work well. The adds, luckily still come up flawlessly which is truly encouraging... In summary i had to remove it and use alternative bus app hence bottom rating..Version: 2.6.1
✓ Ok, when it worksHighly useful and informative app. Main issue however is that it seems to need near-perfect network in order to operate (ie locate nearby stops etc.), rendering it virtually useless much of the time. ✓ It’s handy but.... there have been a few times when I’ve been at a bus stop and this tells me it’s 8 minutes till my bus so I’ve been on the verge of starting to walk ( I’ve been checking it for a few minutes at this point already) and then the bus arrives! ...annoying if you want to know straight away which buses are due as I always get an ad come up so by the time that’s finished buses have come and gone (this is mainly a pain if you’re thinking that one takes me all the way but that ones ok too, as sometimes if you do wait for the ad to finish you discover the one you were hoping for must have only just left cos the next is 20 minutes and if you’d got on the one that’s just pulling away, you’d have had to walk 5 minutes but at least you would be on your way! ✓ Hopeless at route planning unless you know the routeUseful if you are standing at a stop and want to check the time of the next service, but for finding a route, it’s hopeless. For example, I can get from Molesey to Kew by taking a 411 to Kingston, then changing to a 65 - the route planner app cannot find this combination and says no route exists: you need to specify exactly the stops you want to travel between, so search entries like ‘Kingston bus station’ finds you nothing and renders the app pretty pointless..Version: 2.6.2
✓ Used to be greatThe used to be a fantastic app but now they have so many adverts on I regularly can't get to when my bus is coming due to the adverts. A lot of the adverts you can't click out of so I keep having to come out of the app to get rid of the advert. I get you don't want to give the app away as a free app but then make it a requirement to pay for it not just make it unusable.... so many buses missed 🤬.Version: 2.7.8

It's a shame because at other times it can be a godsend. ✓ Used to be amazing!This app used to be amazing but ads (although needed to pay the developers) ruin it! It also makes me reluctant to pay to have ads removed in case the app crashes anyway! ✓ Unreliable timesI use this app about 4 times a day to get to and from work and when it’s working fine everything is ok; however, recently the bus times have been so painfully wrong or unreliable that it’s made my commute to work so inconsistent as sometimes I’ll be waiting 30 minutes for a bus that’s “2 mins away” or be told that a bus won’t be at my stop for another 40 minutes only to have it turn up 3 minutes later after I’ve already called an Uber. Especially, the E1 and the E11 which sometimes flat out say there’s “none available” on the screen but then I’ll see a few drive past me as I’m walking to the next stop. Painfully unreliable and inconsistent 2/5.Version: 2.6.2
✓ Worse bus app everThis app is a complete joke I got told it was good and looked at some reviews but how people can say this is good is a utter joke and the people saying that must work for the app provider or creator because this app is the worst bus app around it doesn’t give you the quickest route possible and 9/10 times gives you the wrong information, I thought I’d test it out on my route to work it tried sending me the wrong direction told me to get buses that go no where near my work and then when I have it another try to see what way it would tell me to go home the route it suggested is 1hour 10 mins longer that it actually takes me to get home it sugessted a route that would take 2hours 17mins when it only takes me 1hour 5mins max to get to work do yourself a favour do not down load this app for routes and it never works for the live times either I was standing at a bus stop and it said there was no bus stops near me a complete joke of a app.Version: 2.6.4
✓ Used to be good, needs updatingThis app used to do the job despite the annoying adverts coming up just when you need to run for a bus stop. However it has now not been updated for ages, including for revised bus routes and stops around Baker Street and also seems to show inaccurate data which other apps show correctly so not coming from TfL. ✓ FrustratingIf there’s on app that you don’t want to be frustrated by, it’s a live transport information app. Imagine you’re about to leave for work. You want to check the time of your bus. You’re in a hurry, but can’t see what time the bus is coming, as you’re having to watch an advert before it’ll let you see the live bus information. Oh, and if you’re listening to music, it’ll cut it off and you might have to go back to your music app to play it again. Not really something that’s going to cause your life any major problems (I try to keep this perspective. This app has forced me to), but an inconvenience you’ll probably want to avoid..Version: 2.6.2
