Pill Monitor: Drug Minder for Negative User Reviews

Good, until you want to editEditing settings seems to reset reminders or notification dates. Also the free version is limited to a history of 50 events, and there are only 2 options: upgrade or delete all history.Version: 3.2

Ok-ishNot bad, but could be simpler by giving a drop down meds list to choose from instead of having to type everything in. Plus having meds in groups for if you have to take more than one at a time..Version: 3.1.1

It's okI don't need to enter my doctor, pharmacy or rx number for the tablets I take. Personally, I don't see why this is necessary. Therefore, to save a drug, I need to enter the quantity...but this isn't always the same so I need to save each drug a number of times to cover all the options. Not great..Version: 2.1

RemindersWorks great! But will get 5 stars from me if it had hourly alarm. To have 6 or 8hrs reminder will be great..Version: 3.3

Watch appCrashes on watch. Does not record more than one medication taken when using watch app even though I said I took it. This APP Needs work..Version: 3.2

Good featuresUseful pill monitoring features but mandatory pop up videos you must watch are very annoying..Version: 5.0

NotificationsI really like this app but the notifications don’t work for me. I have to actually open the app for any badge to appear and I don’t get any alerts or sounds even though I have it set for those on my Iphone..Version: 6.1

JoeNot user friendly especially for seniors..Version: 2.1

AnnoyingONLY ALLOWS VERY LIMITED DATA ENTRY BEFORE "UPGRADE"! Annoying as hell to just get used to everything only to find you can only make 50 entries without "upgrading". Useless to someone hoping to build a complete picture of their medicinal requirements. Really not cool..Version: 3.3

Unusable because of adsFull screen blocking ads Because everyone wants to see an ad when they’re trying to find the medication that will save their life..Version: 4.1.2

Didn't show notificationsHalf works. The alarm goes off when set but if you miss it there's no alert on the app to show you have. Which is missing the point. The app does say this is a feature and I set it up in notifications but nothing. Frustrating. Plus a bit complicated as to how to add stuff. Not worth getting..Version: 2.1

Missing the most important featureI was looking for something that would give hourly alerts but for some reason I could only find daily alerts. We have different medications at different times of the day and a daily reminder will not help with that..Version: 4.2

You like adsIf you like ads this is for you.Version: 4.1.2

AlarmIt would be great if alarm kept going until I turn it off , sometimes I miss it if I'm busy as it does not sound for long enough ..Version: 1.0

Asks for response when it had already been enteredCan use it. But it’s a pain to have to constantly re-enter time it was taken. Doesn’t seem to store initial response, consistently..Version: 5.0

Poor interfaceAfter entering one medication it will not let you enter a second one. This app is useless.Version: 4.2

Not terribleIt is not very flexible or user friendly if pills are taken at different times and consequently push other pulls back (ie need 6hours between doses). For basic daily meds maybe ok but reminders arent very prominent..Version: 3.3

Almost O.K.A good start, but the iPad version is in fact only a crude version of the iPhone version. Most people use their iPad in landscape mode but the iPad version of this program does not transition so you end up looking at the screen sideways most of the time. Drugs entered in my iPad version do not slide over to the iPhone like they should. There is no cloud transmission that I am aware. Drugs entered on my iPad do not show up on the iPhone, they should. There is no master list of common drugs so EVERY drug must be typed in by hand. Not to bad if you have one or two but it would be a big help if this had at least some common drugs in place for spelling correction at least. The ability to select patterns such as BID, TID, QID, etc. and have common times listed easily would be a boost in the right direction. Access to system sounds would let me widen the alarm noise. Did I mention that notifications of when taken on the iPad, did not flow to the iPhone? Collaboration between devices is a major need. Over all? A good start only. I do not mind paying for the app, but if I do, I do NOT want to see a lot of adds. That is why I am paying for it....Version: 1.0

WorksProduct works though I wish a free version included all program accessibility.Version: 6.0

It’s okDoesn’t seem to have some obvious features such as taking a pill early, or showing on a calendar which days you missed. And the alarm is very subtle for some reason. I keep missing it..Version: 4.2

App was great-not anymoreSince the last update, anytime I try mark something taken I get a pop up message saying I have to watch a video “to get more logs”. No thanks. Time to delete app..Version: 5.0

AnnoyingNo decimal places for dosage....I need 3.5 ml and can't put it in. I need a reminder every 4 hours...why can I only choose a daily reminder? Very basic app..Version: 1.2

Too many addsNot user friendly; no continuous for frequency, no 'as needed' dosage, no reminder times(no one takes a med at "9am", precisely. Sometimes you wait until you leave the bathroom. Lots more.Version: 4.1.2

PillsNot so helpful.Version: 4.1.2

AverageI wanted to be able to load in some meds that I had to take every 5 hours. But it couldn't do it. This meant loading in multiple times throughout a 24hr period which was just too time consuming. So for me personally this AP was a no go..Version: 2.1

Annoying adsVery obtrusive ads, no option to completely get rid of them. Deleted right away..Version: 8.0

Ads everywhereWhy are we not told that there would be ads everywhere nor explain what is in the paid version and the VERY limited use of the free version?.Version: 5.0

Can only set daily or weekly remindersNeed to be able to set reminders by hourly increments for the 2x daily & 3x daily meds for my dog..Version: 4.1.2

Pill reminderLike the other review if the alarm went on till u actually turn it off would be better..Version: 1.2

Lousy adware. Confusing.Very poor app. Really just a vehicle to sell other apps through advertising in the app. Try something else..Version: 4.2

Doesn’t work on Apple Watch 2The title says it all. Tested this twice, the first time the alert only showed up on my iPhone 6 with iOS 11, it didn’t alert on my watch So I double checked my notification setting on my watch and tried it again, and the second time, it didn’t even do an alert on my iPhone. If you are making an app for a medication reminder, it is of the up at most importance that the very basic function of triggering a notification should actually work. Anyhow deleting it..Version: 4.1.2

Needs fixingGood app, does what it says and very helpful when youve got multiple drugs to take at different times. BUT it periodically asks you to rate it, and the rating screen (which overlays the UI) doesnt work. You can tap at it as much as you like but nothing responds, and that means you cant get to the actual app. Closing the app doesnt work, nor does quitting it, it always comes back to the frozen rating screen. Devs, please fix this problem because it's ruining an otherwise excellent app.Version: 3.0.1

DecentSoftware works but the adware is incredibly intrusive. This review nag is just what I needed to make me go find a different app..Version: 7.0

DANGEROUS AND POORLY EXECUTEDIf you rely on the records of your dosages taken DO NOT use this app and most definitely DO NOT UPGRADE IT. Pen and paper will save you far more time and potentially overdosing or ultimately your life!!! In its current form it is simply negligent flaws- with potentially grave consequences. Have emailed the creator a long list of flaws that will potentially put any user in serious danger. Let's hope their duty of care is respected from this point on and they take a serious look at reviewing this app at an end point (user) perspective..Version: 3.3

Not badDoes what it says. Shame about the paid restrictions..Version: 4.1

Like but could improveI like the ease of use but need to add to dosage the ability to have the app calculate the pills more accurately ex: pills are 250mg but the dose to take is 1000mg. You actually take 4 pills but the app only decreases by 1 pill because it doesn't know that the 1000mg is more than 1 pill. Also could have option for PRN currently have to put drug in as a scheduled and then skip or change the time taken..Version: 4.0.1

Ok appHelped me keep up to date with my mum’s meds when she stayed with us. Not the most visually appealing app and it’s not easy to load pills that get taken multiple times a day..Version: 4.2

Not good for alertsI’ve had this app for a week and all week I’ve been taking my medication late! Because this app doesn’t give any alerts I even forgot to take one yesterday.Version: 4.2

Not for pain medsGood for standard daily reminder but not appropriate for things like pain medications. I wish this app had an option for 6 or 8 hourly reminders which adapted according to when you actually took the medication. I love the way it asks if you have taken it on time, if you are taking it now or if you are skipping it. I just wish that you could get your answer to that question to interact with your alarm times for that medication. As I said for something like antibiotics or contraceptive pill this would be a great app but as most of my meds are for pain relief this just isn't good enough..Version: 2.1

Not happyI do not want advertisements in the middle of personal details. If I can’t get rid of it then I will delete the whole app.Version: 6.0

Fails to record doses takenFor one medication, I take 2 pills four times daily. I have set the app up to alert me when they are due. Up until now, I have relied on this and when taken, i click that they were taken on schedule. Today, I decided to take one dose 15 minutes early and instead slelected ‘Taken now’. This record then disappeared from my upcoming actions, but also did not show in current actions. It disappeared! If i was not so new to the app, i may not have noticed this and taken the dose again. If i click on the name of the drug, it says ‘last taken ‘ but this doesn’t appear in the list of doses as it did when I recorded it as taken on time.Version: 4.2

Need moreIt is hard to give this app a very good rating. Only being able to test on taking one pill does not let me know how well this app really operates. So in not knowing I will not pay for an upgrade unless I was sure it worked well..Version: 1.3

Good appGood useful app but wish it had a PRN setting for medicines that you take when required. Instead of everything been set to timers even though with medicines you take just as required like a reliever inhaler. And wish it had a space to put the amount of medicines you have in so it reminds you when they need re-ordering.Version: 4.0.1

MessyCan’t delete medication. Also ads at the bottom of the 📺 screen. Tried to look 👀 at history and an ad popped up. No, deleting this..Version: 4.2

Does NOT workThis app failed to 'remind' me of 2 of the 3 scheduled medications. It only listed the one. Didn't even list the others at the scheduled time. Also the error that says you haven't taken a certain medication after clicking 'Taken', is a dangerous bug in the program. Someone depending on this accuracy could overdose due to this app. For safety reasons DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!! I've deleted it..Version: 2.1

Hourly timer missingThis app missing hourly timer.Version: 3.2

Updated version a step backwardsHaving to clear reminders individually wastes time.Version: 6.0

Not for meI found it arduous to set up and inflexible in actual use. Yes it is accurate and would be easy if your medication was clockwork scheduled and followed a repetitive formula and straight forward. Being able to adjust doses and times on the go would have been helpful. As would dealing with pills or half pills rather than having to fill in milligrams etc. Being able to choose automatically updatable hours rather than set times would also have been more useful. I needed to time 4hours between doses, not exact times of day. IE, if I took a dose half an hour late then all the reminders for that same drug should have adjusted to four hours later. Also setting the length of snooze and better notification sounds, the ones with the app are incredibly annoying. Not the app for me.Version: 3.1

Pill MonitorDoes the job nicely for me. Always good to keep on track with ya meds..Version: 3.3

Very poorly programmedMakes you manually enter the dosage every time. My dosages doesnt change. And even if it did changing the # of pills is easier than typing in (ie) 20000 every time. Makes the program too cumbersome to be practical..Version: 2.1

Great idea. Needs Actual RemindersThe notification pops up only once but does not repeat if you forget to take your pills. Should repeat maybe every 10 min until you actually take some action in the app..Version: 4.1.2

Problem with Taken All Not workingDid nothing and caused a shutdown of the app!.Version: 5.0
