✓ Great game but…I would give 5 stars but for the videos of one of the game’s advertisers, RM. The videos are obnoxious, often freezing until you click somewhere that opens the App Store, then the clock starts over when you return. Sometimes you have to close Tribez and reopen it, in order to get out of the ad video and return to playing. Sometimes it will give the “X”, implying the ad is done but when you click it, it just starts a new ad video and does it over and over. I no longer click to watch a video, ever, because I’m not taking the chance that it’s one of theirs. And I will NEVER download that advertiser’s game, for that reason alone. But other than that, it’s a very well done game with an acceptable level of pay to play. Just need to lock down that advertiser’s videos, they are ruining the game for me..Version: 16.4.0
✓ Really great, but quests need work.This game is super fun and addicting. I love the building of tribes and islands. It’s a great free game, I’ve been playing for years, just picked it up again. They NEED to overhaul the quest systems. They’ve been adding quests continually for years but they’ve not been paying attention to where those quests line up with other quests. I have quests to build watermelon carts on island 2, but I got them 10 levels before they are unlocked. There’s a ton of marble-building quests, but I haven’t unlocked marble yet because I have to work on the rainbow stuff, which is newer. I’ve had a quest for doing long-term sand mining, but I haven’t even gotten the third island yet because I haven’t gotten marble yet! I have a quest to build an observation thing which uses cut marble and sand but again, I haven’t even gotten raw marble yet. All these quests I can’t do are bogging down my quest line and making me frustrated to have to scroll endlessly every time I open the game to find the 1 or 2 quests I actually can do. The quest to upgrade the cheif’s house for the first time is given to you at level 10, and guess what, it takes marble. I’m level 38. This is crazy..Version: 8.1.4

✓ Totally love this gamePlaying it all the time... it’s lovely and pressure free. I don’t know how this is age 4+ .... it takes more than age 4 to plan out what you’re going to do next. And now there are the Dino races where you join a clan of other players and take part in the race together - really good fun. People moan about the quests in the actual game but you can take your time, I never buy gems but accrue them over time. It’s just a lovely non aggressive game of adventure!.Version: 12.6.3

✓ The Tribez: Build a villageThis app is just the best one Game insight has made yet! Can’t wait to see future updates!! I’m on lv 10 and it’s already a pretty good game, just bought it yesterday! It’s pretty nice, a few things, maybe you can make a daily prize! I’ve expanded quite a lot! And the key is to winning the game, is save up your coins, buy huts, grow lots of food, and complete lots of quests! Then you can expand buy better stuff, and make your way to a Tribez Tribe paradise village! I have also checked out a few more of Game insight’s games, and this is the best so far, and yeah. I like how you did the Murlod’s voices and Aulora’s voice! Sounds so human like!.Version: 9.3.7

C’mon, get a grip on reality. And the Facebook links.. not everyone uses Facebook and not everyone with it wants games linked to it.. game requests are an awesome unfriending offence to a lot of people! so not being able to satisfy the games constant need to access Facebook accounts is just plane annoying. I was wondering if you can add some features in next update related to member bonus? I would love to give some extra crystals or extra points or something to my team members to appreciate their efforts they put into winning the race everytime and keeping the spirits up. ✓ Tribez a great pass time...I’ve been playing this game for a couple of months & really enjoy it, I don’t take the game to heart as it is a game not a living lol yes the quests believe can be many & quit daunting... but what the hell no one said you “have” to complete them all, trust me I don’t or should rather say I can’t ... they are quests given for you to or not to do, you are not punished for failing to complete any one quest...this game can be played with the minimum amount of gems being spent...always remember this game is supposed to be enjoyed it’s not a punishment...if you want to spend gems to go forward in a hurry then that is your choice, me I amble along doing what I can & if I have the money to spend on a special they offering, then it is my choice to take advantage or I can leave it, the same with doing quests you can if you want spend money on gems to complete them or like me I leave the quest/s should I not have the money to spend, I for one am not breaking my purse for a game...play Tribez for fun don’t take everything seriously, there is no time limit..if you can’t complete a quest well then trust me they never cease, there will be loads of others for you to attempt ....Version: 9.8.1

✓ Great but...I really really love the main part of the game, and connecting the islands, I think it’s challenging enough to make it fun but not annoying. It’s fun to play, doesn’t take a ton of thinking, and doesn’t absorb all of your time playing, you get things set up and then can put it down till it’s time to “harvest” supplies. However, there is entirely too much going on. At any one time there could be 5 different “events” going on, and if your someone who doesn’t play with actual friends, you can’t “win” 2 of the 5 at all which means I cannot get further in that mini game-like event. On top of that, you also have to manage the game within the game ie things inside of the chiefs residence, and doing sea journeys. Second complaint would be the challenges on the side of the screen, it’s nice having a “to do” list of sorts, but there’s just too many on the screen, it’s annoying to have to scroll through. On top of that, the challenges aren’t separated by which island they belong to, which would be much easier to figure out. I don’t need to see the ancients island challenges when I’m on the marble fjord island. Overall, great game that has just way too much going on..Version: 9.9.3

✓ LOVE THIS GAMEI absolutely LOVE this game but I’d love to be able to move ALL buildings because I want to be able to build my village the way I want to but I have to build around the pilots camp and the circus when I would love to move them to a new location along with the place you get the boxes of time reducers that uses apples and blossoms. I would also love to put up fences but it’s hard to line them up so they look nice and look like it’s all one fence. One last thing the price to expand land is way too high and trying to get the things to build buildings to get building materials like marble and another material seems impossible. If you could make it a little easier to get the buildings for the quests I’d be very happy because I’m getting quests for decorations but I can’t put them anywhere because I don’t have the room..Version: 15.6.7
✓ Tribez - A fun way to spend some timeI have been playing this game for some time now, and since I have retired am able to play it more, I really enjoy taking part in the Dino race but find that some of my team prefer to be top of our board rather than win the race. We have recently found out where we all come from and that was really interesting, lots of people from the USA, Russia, United Kingdom which means lots of different time zones. When the game was updated I did find it really strange, I really liked the way that the trees looked like trees in the old version, now it’s very animated, it’s taken a while to get used to but I still enjoy playing it. The only thing I find frustrating with the game at the moment is that on the Island of the Ancients the happiness level is maxed out at 108, I have been on this level for some time, it’s very frustrating as I now can’t go any further on this island, I tend not to complete many tasks on this island as there is no point as the happiness gained is not recorded, I did contact the support team about this as I have buildings I need to upgrade but can’t, I was told that the only way I could upgrade my buildings was to delete or store an existing building, but why would I do that, let’s hope an update will come soon as I have lots to complete on this island. It’s a fun game to play and would recommend it..Version: 11.5.4
✓ TribezI would like to add the following comment. I have a few friends who already play this game but I'm unable to add them as friends to my neighbours list. Don't understand why? I actually enjoy the game very much but after an update had to delete! Updates very sketchy. Wish I hadn't upgraded the last time lost four islands and lost gems which I had paid for! Wasn't very happy about starting again! Sometimes there's not enough time to complete special tasks. Often with a new task to complete you click on item a message appears "Don't know what to do with this?" Or something like that, which is annoying. ✓ Could be a great game.Could be a great game but how ridiculous that it takes gems to upgrade huts etc and you need to upgrade them to be able to upgrade the main building to progress. 33 gems per hut per upgrade what a money making racket unfortunately I will end up deleting as I can not afford to keep buying gems and they are not forth coming easily. Much better if you can upgrade with the gold you earn even if it takes longer. ✓ Very nice!I’ve tried a lot of these build and wait games and they’ve all been really disappointing for me. Usually not enough to do, build something, wait 20 hours, come back for 15 mins, wait another 20 hours. So annoying especially if you start liking the game. This format is very different. You still have to wait for a little while (can’t escape that) but the more islands you start to open up, the longer you get to play for and as someone at home most of the time (due to disability) I can spend ages on this. The more you play, the more you open up and it’s what I’ve been waiting for. Not sure why I didn’t get round to it earlier but I’m so pleased I’m on it now. It’s the first of these type of games that I will be happy to actually spend money on as it’s well worth it! ✓ Can't believe it's freeEveryone I've introduced to this game has stopped playing smurfs since. As for the reviewers saying its annoying being asked to spend real money? They don't have the patience or mind space to discover all quests can be completed without buying gems. Smurfs' compulsory buildings needed to pass quests cost 25 smurf berries each, which take 9 levels to save for, gems come much faster here. The major downside for me is that I can’t progress many of the quests without connecting to Facebook, which I don’t and won’t have. I used to play it on my iPod Touch when I was a kid and the more it got updated the more issues I’d have trying to run the app. I now play it on my iPhone 6 and it’s been updated so much since then and runs smoothly. ✓ Awesome farming game!This game is an awesome farming game, simple enough to pick up and play, and complex enough to hold your attention. There are many quests to keep you going through an amusing story line, or you can free style, to a point. My only constructive criticism is that, because I am typically driven by checking boxes off a to do list, I wish there was a way to hide some quests I would prefer not to do immediately, and then unhide them when I felt like completing them. Having to hold all the quests in the same view is a bit annoying when I know for a fact there are some quests that will take me weeks before I feel like accomplishing the goals since there are other things I prefer to use my resources for. My gripe, if you will is this; how are we supposed to get quests done when the quest line for each island is all jumbled together. Why can’t they be separated? It’s been awhile and I feel like it’d be easier if they made it to where missions only show up that are available for that specific island. It doesn’t make sense to see all the missions if you can’t do them on one island. Overall still fun but it’d be a whole lot easier to see what I CAN do on each specific island. And also, kind of annoying when they give you missions that are literally impossible to do. Idk if this is a glitch or not, but I purchased some land (3 spaces) on one of the islands and can’t so anything with any of it. There’s mist everywhere and they still have me missions to do for them but I can’t. If it’s because of my level of something then they shouldn’t have allowed me to buy it. Biggest issue I have with the game though is just how much there is to do, with generally up to 30 different tasks to try to complete, some of which are impossible If you like being occupied and challenged (most especially if you have whole hours to spare) then this is the game for you. ✓ Developers need to play the gameThe recent graphical revamp was powerful but received a lot of negative feedback due to poor testing prior to release. The developers have addressed this in this latest release. Well done. The races have certainly introduced some continued interest. The effort versus reward balance has been poorly calculated though. The happiness restriction of 180 per island is annoying for two reasons. (1) it does not maintain a true happiness figure behind the scenes. So, even one five point pathing section removal drops your rating even if you built something that had a value of thousands to get to 180, and (2) you cannot complete some allocated quests to build houses without destroying existing ones because it “needs happiness 181” to build. The book that was introduced does make the quest list that you will not be attempting less annoying. Auto-presenting the first quest in the list seems an unnecessary change in this latest release. Only useful during a race where the race quest is at the top of the list..Version: 11.3.15

✓ Was a Fun gameI’m not sure how I like this new update. With this new update the icons are too big and get in the way. I don’t care for their placements either. I don’t like the way the icons disappear and reappear every time you assign a project. Very annoying. And the number of workers you have disappear, so if you didn’t take a good look of how many workers are left you have to go back, check the number then assign again. I don’t know what the purpose of everything disappearing while assigning is for in the first place. I like being able to see how much wood I have at one glance. Now I either have to go fine a warehouse or click on the food icon to bring the warehouse items down into view. I experienced an advertisement all of a sudden popping up during the game and then the game locked up. I like change, but not all of these changes are helpful..Version: 11.3.0

✓ Love the gameI really enjoy playing this game! I haven’t gotten bored or tired of it. The only thing I don’t like is how much stuff we have to do 24/7. There is never NOT something to be getting done, which in a way is good because it keeps you needing to accomplish something. But because I constantly have that long list down the left side of my screen, it feels like I am not actually ever getting anything accomplished because there is something new right after I finish something. And I wish I could have an option to hide the challenges on the left and the other pop ups on the right. It makes it hard to see the whole map because they’re in the way. Making a ton of new friends from all over the world and making my island grow, grow, grow!!! I've got all the land open on 3 island and working on the others I never run out of things to do because I can always build something and w more land coming open on some islands had made it that much better!! I buy jeweles all the time by choice but I win them every week from the races so you can play for free w no worries and have the same amount of fun!!!! I use mine to speed up things or get extra things. So come enjoy a game that you don't have to spend money on and you can literally spend hours on end playing and never be bored because there's always something to do, grow, build or complete task for more rewards and to find out new things going on or that you'll need it's the total pkg awesome!!!!.Version: 14.0.1
✓ Great game overallI really enjoy this game. I’m one of those people that finds satisfaction in crossing completed items off my to-do list, so of course this type of game is great for that. Game play is very fair, as opposed to other games of this type where you have limited amounts of energy, etc that has to recharge over time. You can play the game as intended for a long time without spending money, which is a huge item in the plus column for me. The only issue I have is the way the tasks are organized. Many of the tasks are only available to complete in one location, and others can be completed anywhere, but by having all the tasks in one long list it is nearly impossible to keep track of what to do where the farther you get in the game. There are a few hints in some cases (snow on a building, for example), but it gets to be a real pain. Could location-specific tasks go to the top of the list as you move from place to place? Some other way of grouping them (color coding or something) so it’s much more obvious which location is intended for the task? Just a few thoughts. This issue is really a product of being able to do so much in the game, so thumbs up for that, but I would love to see something done to make that a little easier..Version: 9.8.1

If I had one complaint, and the one thing that eventually causes me to delete the game, is the messed up quest system. ✓ The most recent update has ruined my life.Dear Tribez developers, I have to say I’m disappointed in the new update, the change in the screen layout is not very good. I have gotten use to the old layout and the changes to it have made me and my fellow Tribez clansmen angry. The old layout worked a lot better then the new one, being able to always see my progress in numbers towards the next level was something I would check constantly and the new bars for leveling up and happiness are just awkward. The only thing I really like about the layout is the challenge book, being able to condense my challenges is nice and saves screen room. I would like to say that the changes to structures are nice and make the game look better, the plots look richer and the warehouses look a lot more sleek. Overall my only problem is the layout of the screen, I’m hopping that it will be changed back to the way it was, due to its perfection. Maybe if there was an option to have the old layout instead of the new one so you can change between them. ✓ Tribez updateDownloading the recent game update, 1st April 2020, there is an issue with the Marble Fjord island. The issue is with the laundromats. They are missing in graphics but they are still there. The icon above the laundromat is still there or if it has been set away for a job, it can be clicked on to see how long the operation has to go until completion. There’s always new quest to keep you going and new worlds to explore! When I got myself the iPad mini and redid loaded my games, this one would not let me log back in to my old game, annoyingly I had spent money on in app purchases and now lost all my progress. ✓ VersionsI have recently downloaded the ‘old’ version of this game, those who have played the Tribez in about 2010 will remember. ( I managed to re-download the old one via the purchased menu ) not knowing it was unsupported now I got fed up with not being able to download the extra content. I have not been getting quests from the game which means I can’t build the quarry, lumber mill or stone processing mill thingy, I came on the App Store to contact the developer for the game and couldn’t find it. ✓ Fun Game, Super Addicting!I thoroughly enjoy this game. It’s a fun village game where you build and at times have instant gratification. It isn’t hard to level, you just need some patience. My advice is to start building certain things that takes 8 hours or 5 hours right before going to bed. There are a few things I wish was in the game, such as being able to put everything in your inventory at once so that way you can rebuild easier and smoother (because it takes up so much time trying to rearrange your village without this perk) I wish inventory was free all around because it’s so difficult to put two things in at a time, it’s not even worth it. ✓ Really great game but needs workI absolutely love this game! It’s one of the only games like it that I can actually stand to play for longer than a few days. There are just a few things that make the game aggravating- Since the newest update of the game, ALL of the icons and pictures on every island are messed up and it makes it very difficult to play the game. The odd icons that have replaced the regular ones are much bigger and make it difficult to see resources that are ready to be collected, not to mention actually getting anything done. They have been adding quests right along without really going back and tailoring the quests to fit well with each other. The quests don’t line up well at all with my progress in the game or with all of the ridiculous number or other quests that they constantly throw at you. They constantly have an absurd number of “limited time” and “special offer- hurry and pay us money” quests that don’t actually accomplish anything and they take the fun out of completing the other quests that actually matter to the story line of the game. First no more free daily spin on the spirit wheel and if I watch a video to get a spin after the video the game crashes so no spin. Anyone homeschooling their kiddos could use this game to teach scarcity, plenty (and the problem with too much plenty), supply lines, cash flow, managing resources…I could go on. And it’s fairly sophisticated, but dressed in a cartoon world that any one young or young at heart will enjoy. ✓ Just some improvements ( please fix and incorporate the🎅)First of all I really like the game, but my brother and I can't become neighbors because we don't have face book,so can you please make another way to invite friends as neighbors like maybe game center😄. And I thought it would be really cool if the chief (you) was walking around on the island as well and you had the option to have a first person view instead of doing everything from the sky, with this idea it would be would be awesome if you could run around on the ground and select what you wanted to do(like maybe long term deal in the bath house).But any way I'm stuck on a quest about sending good to the 2nd island but when I tried the food icon wasn't, there and I have tried like 100 times so could you please fix that ASAP😊even though you may not be the game makers and your reading this please copy and past it into you review box if you think it's an awesome idea😜 Oh and by the way I'm playing on the iPad 2.Version: 1.6.8
✓ PattiI am enjoy the game I am addicted to it. I love when I get something accomplished. My issue is if you have a problem and you report it little to nothing is done. I’ve lost money, jems, things that are shipped to an island don’t show up. The visions are atrocious. I have spent a lot of money on this game and I get stupid responses like it’s my internet which I have 5G so that is never the case. I think you need to fix the glitches before you start adding to the game! And where are the balloons? There are things on the balloons we need to complete and if you don’t send the balloons this can’t be done. One last thing. Competitions are too close together one a week would be better as you don’t have time to recover free m the last one and you are starting a new one. I think is you took them to one a week you could bring back to balloons..Version: 11.4.2
