✓ Great app but...I've only given this app a 3/5 because it freezes often while my son is using it. We have to close out of it to unfreeze it which is annoying because my son can't do it by himself. ✓ Great app but...I absolutely LOVE this app. The only thing that changed this to a three star is because it is way too easy to delete the installed names and pictures. If you have children that like to go into setting, and delete stuff like I do it's very frustrating. It would be awesome if you had to put in a simple password to be able to install/delete the pictures and names if needed. Then I would change this app to a five star without a doubt. ✓ Not suitable for English marketI'm really not sure why this app isn't better. Despite providing a record facility for you to make your own nametags, this facility hasn't been extended to the majority of the app which makes it unusuable outside the USA. It's not just pronunciattion, it uses all letter names not phonics so it doesn't fit with the national curriculum in the UK and a recording facility would negate this shortcoming as well. And really baffling - the letter tracing can't cope with kids doing letters they know quickly, they have to wait for the app!? Nice to have's would include the facility to set the alphabet to only lower case, or only upper, or mixed as this would open it up further to the SEN market Also appears to have a bug in the background music setting with the 'off'' slide not always meaning 'off'. ✓ CrashedWould have given it a higher rating, but crashed while setting the app up for my son. You are able to upload a pic of your child, if desired, and record their name. Crashed every time I tried uploading the pic. App otherwise worked fine. ✓ Sound?Just downloaded this app for my son and he loved recording his voice for the tags BUT the sound never played in this app. Yes, I made sure the sound was all the way up on the IPad and that the music was on within the app. This app just didn't play the sound for anything except recording his voice. I also wish there was a way to turn off the letter guides once the child has gotten good at the words so they can practice without the visual clue. This app needs work still..Mom WhiteVersion: 1.0
