MobileLink for Positive User Reviews

It works! Samsung's instructions don't....3 hours of Samsung support calls got me NOWHERE... But thru trial & error I got it figured out... 1. Download mobilelink app. 2. Goto your wifi settings, scroll to bottom of your connection network and make sure your HTTP Proxy is set to "Auto" 3. Turn on your camera. 4. Scroll to touch screen icon that matches mobilelink. 5. Press select images or all images 6. Select photos. 7. Press "share" 8. On iPhone goto wifi settings ~ wait till u see the camera's hot spot beneath your connection setting ~ starts with your camera model # (ie mine is MV900), click on it. 9. Press iPhone home button back to your apps. 10. Scroll to mobilelink app. 11. It will say waiting to connect (might take a few seconds) 12. Select photos to transfer by touching them. 13. In upper right hand corner press button showing camera to iPhone. 14 Transfer will begin!! ~ I hope this helps someone... I almost went NUTS!!! I love this camera.... I hate the Apple vs Droid war..Version: 1.0.9

Amazing appWorks amazingly well with my Samsung WB850f. Picture quality is amazing..Version: 1.0.8

Works greatWorks great on my WB150F. Your camera makes its own wifi hotspot so make sure you connect to the camera wifi rather than your home network for it to work..Version: 1.0.9

Useful app. It's a fantastic app once you've worked out how to use it. When your wanting to transfer pictures from your camera to your phone you have to go to wifi settings and select the different wifi, usually the 2nd one down that's unlocked, network and it should work..Version: 1.0.9

Works fine when used properly!!!This is a great wee app, and it does work folks!!! Remember to go into settings and connect to the camera wifi not your home wifi!!!! Works perfectly!!!.Version: 1.0.9

Great appI've got the iPhone 4s & iPad 2. Brilliant bits of kit let down only by their cameras. Even the new iPhone 4s' camera produces fuzzy results in anything other than bright sunlight. I bought the Samsung DV300F and have been using it with this app. The results are brilliant. The photos download in seconds and the quality of the pictures beats the camera in the phone hands down..Version: 1.0.6

Love this appI love this app but it won't work with IOS 10. Please fix! 😩.Version: 1.1.0

Works just fineIPhone 6 user. Connect via wifi. Open app. Camera asks to connect. Approve. Select photos and transfer. Great app.Version: 1.1.0

It does work, instructions are not clearYou must connect your iDevice to the camera as if it is a hotspot, not through your existing wifi network. Start the camera mobile link and then go into the iPhone wifi settings and connect directly to the camera. Then launch the app on you iphone. Works great once connected. The instructions unfortunately don't make this clear and it took me a while to work through the same error others are seeing..Version: 1.0.9

Works fineI only have used this once, but it worked fine for me..Version: 1.0.7

This app works for me!It does work. All you have to do is install and open the app on your iPhone. connect to a Samsung camera network by switching your wi-fi on and look for the name of your camera..Version: 1.0.8

INTRUCTION HOW TO USE THIS APPS1. Download this apps 2. Go to setting 3. Go to Wi-Fi 4. Then select what model is your camera and pair it 5. Select all the picture that you want to transfer from your camera to your iPhone or any smart phone 6. Then open mobile link app to accept...hope this will help you fellas :).Version: 1.0.9

How toI Tried numerous times to get it to work on my wifi, but that was it you need to change your idevice's wifi to the cameras and badabooom. It's works..Version: 1.0.8

SamsungDownloaded app... 3mins later downloaded all pics to iPhone... Selected ones I wanted... Transferred to camera roll.... Then to Facebook.... Amazed!!!!! No problem and easy to use !!.Version: 1.0.1

It's great!I had the same problem mentioned by many of the reviews in that my camera wasn't compatible. However, by using the good advice offered by some of the reviewers was able to use the app very satisfactorily with 30 photos being transferred in a couple of minutes or so. The only problem I had was my camera froze after transferring the photos - I flicked the battery and it was ok again which is why I've given four stars. The camera along with the app have fully met my expectations. Don't give up - I'm not great on stuff like this but it's really easy - just change the wifi connection on your device to the camera rather than the router and you'll be away!! My camera is the ST200F..Version: 1.0.9

Remember to goto your phone wifi and search for your cameraFirst this app will say it has found a incompatible camera. Don't worry just look for a new wifi network on your phone and your cameras own wifi will show up. Now link to that wifi which will only be on when you camera is in mobilelink mode. The app will now function perfectly as it did for me..Version: 1.0.9

Not badCrashes a couple of times but still very useable. I use it with my Samsung NX1000 and it's great for transferring them over to my iPhone. Would be better if it had a progress meter or some sort of percentage info letting you know that it's actually transferring over as it looks like it's doing nothing..Version: 1.0.9

Awesome app!!I give this app a 5 out of 5 because it works. Are you guys still struggling how to function this app the way it supposed to? Well, you're in the right place. Here's instruction how to function the app: Steps you must follow: 1. Download the app (obviously) 2. Select the MobileLink app from your Samsung Camera that requires this app and press ok. 3. When the camera is still searching, go to your iPod or iPhone and go to settings, then to your connection (Internet) from there you will see a weird connection you've never seen (your camera's connection) and touch it. 4. Wait until your connection enters successfully in your iPod or iPhone. 5. Get out of settings and go to the app that you've downloaded. (MobileLink) 6. It will tell you that it's done searching your camera and choose any photos or videos that you've took and when your done, select the button top right corner and it'll begin transfer. 7. Then go to your "photos" app from your iPod or iPhone and you will see the transferred photos or videos that you've selected. 8. Enjoy. :) Warning: if you chose to tap the app without the camera searching for your devise, it'll immediately kick you out. Take this steps and you'll be awesome just like me. :).Version: 1.0.9

Nifty appIf your having trouble make sure the camera firmware is up to date. I just paired this app to my new WB150f and needed to update. The camera would connect to fb, email, etc but wouldn't connect to any Samsung apps on the iPhone until it had been updated, kept saying connect to camera network. I updated the firmware through the software that came with the camera. Bit annoying that you have to open a wifi connection every time you need to use the app.. *Camera - Start App *iPhone - Settings > WIFI *iPhone - Select Camera *iPhone - Start App It's s bit long winded but it works and if this is a sign of things to come I'm happy to hold out for another few months as I'm sure the dev's will be wanting to make things slicker. It would be better to be able to connect straight to the camera as soon as both iPhone and camera are connect to same WIFI network instead of the phones own WIFI connection but i guess you can't grumble as the app is free and both this app and remote viewfinder are brilliant!.Version: 1.0.6

It worksGo to your wifi connection options.... And connect it to the adress showing on your camera... Easy and it works on Iphone.Version: 1.0.9

👍🏼Worked fine for me; thanks to the comments telling me how to use it!! ;).Version: 1.1.0

Worked for me! After finally figuring it out.You need patience to get this working. The app worked and connected fast to my device network. Like someone else mentioned here. You'll have to FIRST go to your wifi settings and connect to your camera device network. Once connected, on your phone open the mobile link option on your camera, be patient while it connects, and voila! The actual transfer process was quick and seamless!.Version: 1.1.0

Really works!!!I didn't update any thing, all you have to do is download the app run it and it will close saying go to settings then on the camera on wifi settings go to Mobil link and run it and it will start to connect. Next on the iPhone go to setting and on wifi it will show the cameras hot spot just click it to connect .. Now here the tricky part, on the phone after a min double click the iPhone button to open your running program and open the Mobil link app and select the photos and on the top it has a camera to phone picture hit it and it should download... I hope this helps.Version: 1.0.6

Amazing,Beautiful,GreatI'm very pleased with the work of this app, not any more complex then simply logging onto wifi. I'm of age 12 and found the camera to take beautiful pictures with wonderful quality, the connection to my phone offered equality in that matter. The reviews below with one star ratings must not understand how to set it up, so here is a quick set up list: 1.Download the App 2. In your camera turn the nozzle at the top to Wi-Fi 3.Go to your settings and change your wi-fi to what ever connection you camera is offering. 4.On your camera accept your device into the network. 5. Wait for the images to download onto your device and select which you wish to be copied into your camera roll. 6. Once download is compleat head to your images and your selected photo's will be awaiting you. - I hope this helped, I really love the camera and app. Well done..Version: 1.0.9

It works!!I tried every one of the various instructions and nothing work except for this. Took a little trial and error but figured it out. 1)After installing app I went to iPhone settings scrolled way down to the mobile link app. Then in the mobile link app settings slide "hide appinfo alertview" to "on" 2) start mobile link in Samsung camera. Which turns on the wifi on and creates the wifi address for the camera 3) go to iPhone settings, wifi, then select camera wifi address that shows up (I did not change any wifi http settings, FYI) 4) then opened app and there it was, all the photos on my iPhone 5..Version: 1.0.9

I’m having troubleI keep getting a notice that something already connected so it ends the app please help.Version: 1.1.0

U have to connect to camera wifiWorks really well! U have to go to ur settings then wifi and select the camera wifi (camera name) once ur connected open the app and send the pics. I was confused at first too. Works well for me👍🏼👍🏼.Version: 1.1.0

Works just as describedI'm not sure why others are having problems with this app it seems to work fine for me. I'm using an iPad 3rd gen, it would be nice if there was an iPad app rather than expanding X2 to fill the screen. Just don't forget to reconnect to the camera wifi on the phone/pad between uses. Well done samsung.Version: 1.0.8

It works great for me!No problems connecting! Fast enough transfer! Super convenient!.Version: 1.0.8

I've figured it out!Hi everyone, you need to connect your phone to your camera via wifi options! Then the annoying message will no longer appear! Great app! Love it!.Version: 1.0.9

Found a way to get it worked!!!!!!!!!!!Before you open the app, connect your phone to the camera via Wifi. Set DNS to "8.8.4.4" and make HTTP "Auto". Then it should work! I was able to transfer photos to my iPhone 6s :).Version: 1.1.0

FrustratedHad this app for a while, worked great until I recently tried to use it, checked for updates and there are none as of yet, which is odd given the amount of people who seem to be having the same issues. As noted by other people the app opens on my iPad/iPhone, but comes up with the error message "a camera that is not compatible with the current application has been connected. View supported applications" then closes itself down. People have mentioned using the camera wifi but I can't see where this option is on the camera or my idevice. Extremely frustrating especially if u only want to transfer 1 photo!!.Version: 1.0.9

THIS VERSION WORKS!I was getting a little frustrated when it was saying not connected to camera, but you have to wait a few mins and then you will see on your ipod/iphone that it has a wifi signal in the status bar and it is connected to the camera! Go to wifi settings and connect to the camera network! As the camera says sharing files, the ipod/iphone will connect to the camera after 2-3 mins! You will see the wifi signal at the top and then once you open the app on the ipod/iphone, the camera will display another address along side "Sharing files"!.Version: 1.0.4

First impressions can be wrongI read through a couple of the reviews, and had mixed feelings, I kept seeing the "cant connect to camera message/camera not compatible". Which was a little frustrating to start with but reading through a couple of later reviews,I sorted that problem and I have come to the conclusion that the nx1000 has built in mini wifi (only to pass data from device to device) capability for ease of transferring files without the use of proper wifi (which due to travelling your not always privy to). So in general the app is good and works perfectly in passing data from camera to ipad and/or iPhone. Tip - Just need to search for the camera on your "I"device wifi settings once you press smart link on your camera, it means leaving your wifi for a short period and joining the cameras wifi (in essence)..Version: 1.0.9

Very ConvenientWorks like a charm with my NX1000 on my iPhone. Would be 5 stars if there was an actual iPad app..Version: 1.0.8

Works GreatGreat app that works well, only thing that lets its down is that Samsung need to make an iPad app and not just one for an iPhone, works ok on iPad though. For those that are saying it won't work and doesn't connect, you need to turn your camera on and select the photo download option first and then go into your setting on your iPad/iPhone and change your wifi settings so it connects to the cameras wifi and not your local wifi. Hope this helps those that are saying they can't connect..Version: 1.0.8

Cracking App!!Took a few goes to connect, a little patience. Wait for your iPhone to connect to the cameras wifi before launching the app. Well worth perseverance..Version: 1.0.6

Some tips for it to workWhen I first downloaded the app I tried to transfer my photos and it did the same as what the one star comments are saying below. It told me the that the camera that it was connected too isn't smart link enabled. But I found out how to fix this, if you go smart link on your camera, select photos and start the sharing. You then go to your wifi settings on your smartphone and connect your phone to your smart camera's wifi. After this go onto the smart link app, and then the camera and phone will connect themselves and you're done!.Version: 1.1.0

BrilliantWorks well. I don't know what everyone is moaning about. 1. Turn camera on 2. Click MobileLink on the camera 3. Search for the camera in the networks list on the iPhone. 4. Connect to the camera network 5. Click the MobileLink App on the iPhone 6. Click which ones you want to copy to your phone/pad/pod etc. Done. Easy. Have a think before saying its a bad app because YOU can't work it out..Version: 1.0.9

Finally camera to phone transfer is hereThank you Samsung for this great app and wifi transfer feature on a compact camera. Works great and pretty fast too..Version: 1.0.7

Follow the instructionsThis is brilliant, seems like a lot of people are just clicking ok instead of reading the instructions, perhaps a second set of instructions on this page would help. Allows me to see all the photos on my SD card, even gives me a quick preview to get an idea if it's the one I want to copy to my iPad Love it thanks so much, so much easier not having to go thru the computer, just snap the pic, connect to the camera and start up the app to copy the images quickly..Version: 1.0.9

Works just fine!Does what it says. Just make sure you are connected via camera wifi in your phone settings in order for this to work. Once connected its easy, and quite quick. I got my photos straight on my iPhone, so very happy. X.Version: 1.0.5

Learn how to connect your camera to your phone!Works well. I was able to connect my phone to my mv900F camera. I followed the previous reviewers instructions: turn on mobilelink on camera. Connect ios to camera via regular wifi settings. Open app. Transferring files was a painless process. It was quick and easy..Version: 1.0.9

Thanks for getting this on the iPhoneWorks as described..Version: 1.0.6

Works but needs some updatesI eventually got this to work with my camera had to restart both devices and be patient. Works good when it works but needs updated.Version: 1.0.9

Does exactly what it says it does!I have an iPhone 3GS and and iPad 2. My camera is a WB150F. Start up the network on the camera, go to settings on your phone/iPad, join the network. Start the app. Pick the photos you want to transfer. Press the button and hey presto the images are copied over. When it's finished you go back to your normal wifi setting automatically. Job Done! Love it!.Version: 1.0.8
