✓ IPhone connection issue UPDATEI have the new Samsung fit and it will not stay connected to my IPhone XR. It’s been 2 days and I have uninstalled / removed devices / turned off Bluetooth for 10-20 seconds. That stuff doesn’t work. If it wasn’t meant to work with an iPhone then it shouldn’t have been marketed as such. The device itself is great - and when I open the app my device will then connect via Bluetooth. But if I am not on the app Bluetooth drops within about 3 minutes. UPDATE You have to keep the app running in the background for it to maintain Bluetooth connection. And make sure background refresh is on for the app. Seems to have solved my issue!.Version: 1.8.19052402

✓ Great little bandLove how sleek the band is and how simple it was to connect with my phone. Was also impressed i could use it even though I have an iPhone. However attaching it to the charger is difficult and the cord is way too short, and I wish it would allow you to read your messages when it notifies you’ve received one. ✓ Works well on iOSWould love a dark theme and the ability to set personal stride lengths in the future (have myself listed as 4” taller then I really am to match my stride length which isn’t 2.5’ for a 6’ average man) as well as more watch faces for the new Galaxy Fit. However app works well with the Fit and my prior Gear and Active. Some annoying issues like old watches showing up, daily goals not showing up right away on Fit (just need to change it and then change it back to original goal) but otherwise a decent app..Version: 1.8.19052402
✓ Watch facesI love the new watch faces which make the device much more user friendly. Quick suggestion. Add a feature that notifies my phone when my device (galaxy fit e) is fully charged because it charges so quickly I tend to leave it plugged in for too long. Thanks for your time. ✓ Only one problemI like almost everything about the Samsung watch: small, light, comfortable, with 2 week battery life (a key requirement for me). The app does a good job of supporting it, with one inexplicable flaw. Good Night mode is useful to keep the watch from brightening every time you move your arm at night. But why isn’t it tied to Do Not Disturb mode, which can be set to automatically activate at specified times like overnight? It’s an obvious association, yet you have to turn Good Night mode on and off manually. And if you forget to turn it off before you leave in the morning, it’s almost impossible to adjust in outdoor daylight. Samsung, this should be an easy fix..Version: 2.2.0

Found that when using with iPhone you do not receive all notifications from phone (mainly texts), emails and other apps are ok. Tried multiple trouble shooting ideas, resetting, ensuring notifications are on, app preferences on the phone but nothing seems to work. I wish it was compatible with more fitness/ gos apps but it seems to be mostly exclusive to it’s brand. I don’t think I’ll ever switch back to Fitbit because I love this app and watch so much. ✓ Weather does not work until reinstallLocation sharing for weather app is not possible. It is not an option anywhere in iOS settings. I’m using iOS 13.3 on iPhone 7. This problem was not resolved until I reinstalled the app. Fit does not show up on devices on iPhone 5S. Other 3 devices show up. On iPhone 7 all 4 devices work. ✓ Great watch and easy to useI liked the watch and its easy to use interface. I keep the brightness at 30% to save the battery. It does not record the sleep duration as expected thus one star is taken out. Besides other features, the offline music feature was the driving factor to buy it. ✓ Starter smartwatch 👍🏾👍🏾This is my first ever smartwatch and it does what it says. Got it for Walk All Over Cancer challenge and it counted my steps well. Not too sure about calorie burn as l dont log my food intake and not keen on sleep monitor as l dont like sleeping with it on. For basic step count its not bad and it does motivate to do better with challenges etc. My son also has the same and we are both Apple users. ✓ IPhone 6s and gear fit2 work just fineI got an iPhone 6s and the gear fit2 and it works just fine. Get all my notifications and whatnot on my watch and is all good. Good connection too! Can’t complain. iPhone users, follow instructions on how to connect your watches if your still having trouble. Follow the steps! I did a couple times and finally worked and is worth it. Probably works better with a Samsung phone but my iPhone and watch are working quite well together!.Version: 1.6.18052802

Would really be good if you could answer calls and messages with my iPhone Battery life is only about 2-3 days if you able to delete what you don’t want on the watch or which notification you only wanted on the watch without having to adjust your phone as well. ✓ Great product but one feature does not workThe app and watch works even though I have an iPhone. There is one feature which I know only works on Samsung which is quick reply but that is understandable. However, one problem is the find my phone feature. It only gives me a normal notification and if my phone is silenced or on do not disturb it won’t work. Even if they are off I get a normal notification vibration and it does not repeatedly make the siren-like sound. It only makes the sound when my phone has the app open. ✓ Galaxy Fit2Love my Galaxy Fit2 watch and loved the first version as well. Was sad and disappointed when it stopped working/connecting with my Samsung phone. I like all the features, it tracks well, and so many watch faces to choose from. I do wish there was more color options for each watch face choice. This and the fact that I had to buy a new watch (Galaxy Fit2) just at 2 yrs after buying the Galaxy Fit is the reason for the 4 and not 5 stars. Oh a bonus is that this watch, the App And the Samsung Health App all work with my new iPhone. This was going to be my only apprehension in getting the iPhone but surprise! It works!! When I got home, I set it up and it worked… until my watch began bombarding me with notifications of the same set of emails. I had to reset it. ✓ Watch facesTo make your watch feel like your own i strongly suggest to add more watch faces or beagle to add tour own photos to create watch faces. i wish that you could select what you would like to be displayed on the main screen, such as time, date steps and calories on one screen rather than scrolling through to view the desired information. overall i think this is a good app besides the lack of watch face selections. i believe all the faces aren’t the most aesthetically pleasing please fix this issue asap ! thank you ☺️.Version: 1.8.19102202
✓ User FriendlyI have an iPhone and the watch, app & phone sync well together. I had a couple of issues with the initial set up as my phone couldn’t find the watch 🤷♀️ however, kept persevering and eventually got going! The app is very self explanatory especially the night mode and do not disturb feature as I was worried about how to silence the watch during the night but it really is so straightforward. My Fitbit2 is now one of those products I wonder how I managed without it!.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Love it, but...I can’t complain really. I have had my watch and app for 2 years while using the Samsung galaxy s7&8. Recently switched to an iPhone and was so happy my watch is compatible. If possible I’d love to have the ability for my phone alarms to also go off on my watch like it used to when I had a Samsung phone AND my favorite feature of find my phone is no longer on my watch. It was the best thing ever and my husband was so happy when I had that, but now it is gone and he has to hear me say “where is my phone” again. ✓ Custom design choicesThis app is very practical but there are a few things that would make it better. I wanted a custom Home Screen because none of the ones that were available caught my eye really. I actually really liked the heart design one in the artistic section but it was a bummer that I couldn’t edit it. It would be nicer to make your own though!. ✓ Galaxy fitThis app (and watch) is fabulous. I’ve recently started a high school and walk there so I like competing with my dad on steps. Also at school phone’s are kept on silent so I know to check my phone after lesson whenever my watch vibrates. Another good thing is that when it vibrates it is silent so doesn’t disturb learning time. This app is brill to because it allows me to change what widgets I want and helps my find my watch when I lose it (which is quite often as I’m that sort of person). ✓ Not connecting the watch to the app.Took more time to troubleshoot and finally got my Fit 2 connected. Patience was the key for me. I love this watch and all it does.I switched from Fitbit and I was so excited about it I just wanted it to work fast. Sorry for complaining at all. Great product and specs. In a lot of cases we have to also note that if the connections we need to start up is not functioning properly due to inclement weather or tower issues, that has nothing to do with the product. If I try and update location with the app not running then it will say “connect to phone”(which it is already). I have location access set to always for this app but it doesn’t matter. I love my Samsung galaxy fit2 which I just got, it is paired to my iPhone SE. (because I don’t want to spend 400+ on a Apple Watch) and there are a lot of bugs with this app. 1- the weather does not work, even though I have location services turned on it says I do not. 2- it keeps disconnecting from my phone. 3- there are a lot of other minor bugs that aren’t really worth mentioning.
