Sony doesn't appear to be supporting this anymore so I'd suggest looking at a different system that doesn't use this app for stereo and phone control in your car. ✓ I've struggled with the stereo and the appI love the idea and functionality this app provides, when it works. Ever since upgrading from my iPhone 5 my Sony stereo periodically says my 6, and 6s are incompatible. This app did wonderful things, setting the time on my stereo, allowing easy setting changes for bass, treble etc. As of iOS 11 it will be completely disabled because it has never been updated from 32 to 64 bit. The days of every car stereo comming with the credit card remote are long gone so when the salesman pointed out a Sony radio with remote connectability using an App it seemed the perfect solution using my iPhone. Despite trying to connect, the salesman couldn't do it and I was dissapointed. I've since read in these reviews that you can connect it remotely using a USB cable. There are a few disparaging remarks aimed towards people not knowing this is what you're supposed to do. Connecting with a USB cable is NOT remote, it is WIRED. ✓ BadI recently purchased a Sony Radio for my vehicle. I purchased it due to the price and all of the different things it did for the price. Upon installing it I really liked it and still do. I just do not like the fact that it says it’s compatible with an iPhone app but the app is terrible. All I have on mine is the “maps” tab that opens the Apple Maps application. It never connects to my radio with Bluetooth nor USB iPhone charger. Radio is great don’t get me wrong, really works well with the Alpine and Kicker speakers I have, but the app needs to get fixed or they shouldn’t be advertising it as app compatible..Version: 2.1.0

I play music from my iPad which is plugged in so can't use the greater music capacity of the iPad and the iPhone together. ✓ Don't even bother.By far the worst thing I've seen Sony put out. Removes your controls on pandora freezes the radio up I just had to re download to get my reciever off of the "remote" setting..Version: 2.0.20
✓ Poor App.The app is poor as it requires a USB connection to function properly so is not a bluetooth App but to be honest you don't need it. I can hear satnav routes via Waze through my speakers by just having the phone paired I the stereo. Music player works fine over bluetooth and I can even have texts and mails spoken to me by selecting the speak function on my iPhone 6. All plays through stereo fine without the need for the app. Would have been nice if app could have worked over Bluetooth for radio etc as I have just fitted the unit in my Motorhome but can't win them all. Sure Halfords bloke told me I'd be able to remotely turn the unit on with the app but never mind..Version: 2.0.20

✓ HorribleThis app feels un-finished. The home screen does not give the options as listed in the screen shots provided. There is no equaliser function to be found anywhere.
