✓ Great Game!I almost gave it a 4 bc I do see room for improvement but moved to 5 because you guys did an excellent job making this. Pros- •game is super fast to play ! You can get a game done in 5-10 min! • very easy to play if familiar with actual game. I saw a previous review and I don’t know how you can be confused if you are familiar with the game prior to playing the app. •very clear and easy to see what you have and other players. Room to improve when you upgrade? • I don’t think you should be able to pick your playing board and side. It takes away the ability to strategize on the spot. I have improved by practicing the different boards. • notification ability to hurry along a slow player •allow a lobby room for people to join a game vs. automatically placed into games at random. A lobby room would allow you to add a password and play online with people you know. •a way to rate players on wins and also if they stay loyal to a game that r if they bail early. (Game ticket to ride has some of these features that I feel works well for an online game) •maybe on offline mode you could create objectives to make it more challenging For Example • win a game with no blue cards or maybe no guild cards • win a game with having # of science combos. Overall wonderful and addicting I’ve probably have played it 40 times in the past 10 days!.Version: 1.1
✓ Good fun and Getting better7 Wonders is a great game, and this digital implementation is fine. The app has potential, but there was so much more that the app could have been. The problem of requiring an internet connection to launch the game has now been fixed. It would be great if the app had just a bit more polish. The end game process seems rushed. It just blurts out who won without any fanfare or ability to review your results in more detail. Still, the app is improving and it’s still early days..Version: 1.0.1
✓ After buying cities expansion tooltips disappearIf you hold your finger in a card you usually get help on what the card does. After buying the cities expansion this behavior broke forever. Now, even playing the regular game, I’m left without tooltips. Five stars anyways..Version: 1.3.3

I played a 3 player game live and it took everyone by surprise and put pressure on taking a turn especially when having to choose where payment goes. ✓ Great GameGreat game. I love the board game so I was looking forward to the digital version. It took me a little to get used to the look and feel of the digital version but once I figured it out I thought it was a great implementation. Two things I wish it could do, 1). interfaced with Game Center or Facebook so I could choose what friends to play against online. 2) Play against friends on local WiFi or Bluetooth. ✓ Good game, but many features to be desiredBought this Day 1, as 7 Wonders is one of my favorite games. I've been very excited to play an on-the-go version of the game, and so far I've liked what I've seen. However, there's some things that prevented me from giving it 5 stars. - While I bought this as an on-the-go app, you can't play the offline mode without an internet connection. I'm a little confused, as there doesn't appear to be a clear reason for this. - I wish there was an animation for getting money from other players. You sort of just have your money tick up and it'd be nice to know where it came from. - AI difficulty settings would be nice. I think as an experienced player the difficulty level is right, but I imagine that newer players would just get blown out all the time. - In-game speed is fine, but the cutscenes for Military Conflict and End of Game seem slow. I wish you could just click the screen to show you how military went and then click again to jump right into the next age or final score rather than sitting through slow animation. Good game, but some changes would make it 5 star for me..Version: 1.0
✓ Solid adaptation of the tabletop gameI can only speak for the single-player features of this game and not the expansions. The quality of this app is evident in the presentation and the thoughtful layout of what can amount to a large number of cards on a potentially small screen. The tabletop game can take 30+ minutes to play, but you can get the same experience in 5 minutes or less with this app. This app also doesn’t seem to greedily consume my battery like some other apps out there and hasn’t crashed on me yet. The game itself is good, but the mechanics of that, for better or worse, can’t be attributed to these developers, as they are working from an existing design. Great job!.Version: 1.3.3

✓ Great IOS portI’m a huge fan of 7 wonders, I have all the expansions and have probably played this game with my friends several dozen times. This is one of the best translations to the IPhone. There’s no annoying ads, there’s no pay to play subscription fees, each of the expansions are priced at a reasonable amount. The AI was surprisingly good at keeping you from monopolizing certain cards and I had to play a few times before I started winning. The multiplayer is standard for most iPhone games, I don’t see a way to play with friends or locally. I would love to see that added. Overall i recommend..Version: 1.3.1

✓ FineThis is a fun game. I love the art and design. Maybe Im just an idiot, but its very hard to win a game. Ive played about a hundred times and have won 6 times. I cant for the life of me figure out what the strategy or goal is supposed to be or how I’m supposed to use my knowledge of what the players next to me are doing to adapt my approach. It seems pointless because apparently you’re supposed to adapt your card choice based on what those around you are doing, but that just leaves you jumping from goal to goal without completing or collecting anything meaningful by the end of Age III, resulting in a loss. This is not the developers fault or anything wrong with the app, just my own personal frustration with the design of the game itself and this is from someone who has played a lot of board games..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Everything I hoped it would beI have waited for such a long time for this app, so I was delighted to finally get it. It is very slick and you can finish a 3-player AI game in around 5 minutes, which is great for an iPad version. Maybe the AI can get a bit tougher to beat, though as in the actual game, I find that I worry more about what I am doing anyway. Looking forward to the expansion packs with Leaders and Cities. ✓ Brand new, found bugJust purchased and played 3 games to see how I liked it. I added the leaders and cities expansion. I think on my second game I played using the Babylon board side B and noticed an issue with it. I played the 2nd stage of the wonder which allows you to play your final two cards at the end did the round instead of discarding one. It only let me do this at the end of the third age but I played that part of my wonder in the first age so I should’ve gotten to play my final card all the ages..Version: 1.3.3
✓ Good implementationThis is a great version the award winning physical board game (which I also own). Makes learning the game easy. The offline AI mode is ok & allows you to play solo anywhere. Looking forward to the planned expansion releases (Leaders & Cities) to add the next level of play complexity. ✓ Great implementation7 Wonders is one of my favorite games out there and this implementation is excellent. The rounds play quickly and once you get used to these are interface it’s easy to tell what’s going on with the other players. When you play larger player games (5+), it can be difficult to manage the drafting mechanic when you are trying to draft defensively but that gets hard in the base game as well....Version: 1.0

✓ Love the board game - App is okay..7 wonders is an incredible board game with casual level rules but expert level strategy. The best part about this game is that adding more players does NOT increase the game length as all players make their moves simultaneously. No sitting and waiting. The app is cosmetically advanced and has the potential to be a great adaptation of the board game. Some things Id like to see improved or added to the app: - Controls for lobby hosts: allow the host to punt players from the lobby (if they are idle or rude) - Ability to view non-neighbors board state: its annoying to have to relay on impeccable memory or play the guessing game. - Record tracking and ladder play: any good strategist would like to see how they rank in comparison to the rest of the world players. Maybe for ladder games make all players anonymous to mitigate cheating or stat boosting..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Couple of fixes would make it perfectI don’t usually write reviews of apps and games, but I like this one so much and wanted to throw a couple of suggestions at the devs. 1)Please make a rulebook accessible in the app so that if someone has a question about why they can or can’t play certain cards, they don’t have to go through the whole tutorial again. Great job of showing what you can/can’t do, but sometimes the “why” helps with strategy. 2)Give players the ability to see how points were counted up in each category to give the category total. Like, if I could hit the purple column and see the cards of that color and how they scored or something. 3)allow for auto log in for online play. Thanks for a great game. ✓ Good adaptationThis is a good adaptation of the game 7 Wonders, like the other review I have read of this I would appreciate a play & pass feature, even though I realise this defeats the 'everyone plays at the same time' nature of the original game, but would be very welcome just the same. Did encounter one small bug. With the city where the Wonder enables you to play the final card in each age, I constructed the third part of the Wonder in the second age and wasn't able to play the final card in the third age. This is the only bug I've found though. Also, would like to be able to see what resources my neighbours need to construct their Wonders..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Question about abruptly stopping mid gameThis is an excellent adaptation of the board game. When I play live with other people, some games “kick me out” during the middle of the game. I get a message about deserting the game though I initiated nothing to quit. When I try to reconnect it says “unable to join cancelled match”. I’m trying to find out why this is happening- is it an internet connection problem? Or is the host intentionally killing the game? Anything I can do to prevent this? It’s about 15% of games I play with others (not AI)..Version: 1.3.2
✓ Errors in scoringAfter the most recent update this week, there are errors in military scoring. This bug was not present prior to the update. Revised - I’ve also noticed the science calculation was off once as well. Not sure how often that happens. The one time I noticed it was after selecting science as the last card through the Halikarnassos special action. So hopefully that will be fixed as part of the next release as well. Thanks. Revised 2 - I know what the specific bug is now. It does not occur often in standard play, which is why it was hard to pin down. The issue is this. If playing Halikarnassos, and the very last play is to use your wonder ability that enables a search through the cards, if you choose either a military card or a science card, that card value will be doubled. So, a 3 military will count as 6, and a science card will count that symbol twice. But, again, it is only if that is the very last (18th) turn. I’ve now been able to replicate it, so pretty sure this is the issue. Hopefully, you can get you QA team to review. Thanks..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Decent AdaptionALL RIGHT. Fourth time writing. Learning curve is finally taking effect. Did the tutorial again and some of my frustration is gone. I’ve played the board game many times and find the speed of this game disconcerting. Hopefully, my understanding of the nuances will grow. Started out with one star, changed to three, now give it four. Ok. Third time I’m writing. I am totally frustrated with this game vi play all the way through, get to last move. I have two cards left and have to choose one to play. However, neither is playable, I don’t have what’s needed. So, the game just sits there, keep telling me to choose a card and drag it into place, WHICH IT WON’T LET ME. So, the game is stuck, impossible to move on. Great. I’m liking it less and less and am removing a star from my review. One of my favorite board games. Game play is incredibly fast - really too fast. ✓ Point calculation needs a revisionGame is great, but point calculation is bugged and doesn’t always gives the proper result for the different cards - and even simple things as points based on coin (ex: 8 coins giving only 1 point instead of 2). ✓ Errors in ScoringI love this game on table top, and the app version makes everything more streamlined (no set up, no put away, no calculations). The app is beautiful, easy to use, and provides many insightful statistics. It’s easier than I thought it would be to use on my iPhone 7, I can see everything clearly except my own military tokens. But a problem I’ve recently encountered is an error in scoring. It’s a few points off. It’s nearly made the difference in whether I get first place or not. This erodes my confidence in the apps integrity for calculations. I took photos to show the errors in calculation. If this would be fixed in the next update, that’d be awesome. Thanks..Version: 1.3.3
✓ Great adaptation of 7 WondersThis is a great adaptation of 7 Wonders for the most part. However, I would like to see a couple of things. First, I want to see an actual rule book for reference. Things could be clearer than they are in the tutorial. Not sure someone would be able to watch the tutorial and come out understanding how to play. More would be better when it comes to rules for this game. Second, I would like to see a pass and play mode. It would make it a great tool for teaching the actual board game to people..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Not sure why only 4 starsEasy 5 star rating in my opinion. Games vs the AI are tough but not unbeatable. You can finish a match against them in under 5 minutes, which is crazy for a 7 Wonders match. I’ve played maybe 5 games online and found no bugs. Only issue I ran into was inactive players being kept in the round too long before they got booted. I guess I have another issue, and that’s that scoring is maybe a little too transparent. You can check your total score against everyone at any given time, which kind of takes a little calculation out of it, which I felt was a big part of the game. Anyways, those are tiny issues I have; the game is 5 stars, and worth the price..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Awesome game, great app and a total bargainSeven Wonders is a must-have game, so much fun to play and is just the right balance between complex and enjoyable... very easy to learn with the in-built tutorial, but still challenging even when you have played many games. The app has changed a fair bit hence a lot of negative reviews... almost all are complaints about the app, not the game. The new app is still very good, but it is a pity that the original app was better, so it would be good to see a 'classic' or 'rollback' option available (nudge nudge developers..?!) This game is a rarity insomuch as it is actually fun to LOSE the damn game, as you can analyse and agonise over every single card you played, and still enjoy it. Hence, it's a great game for kids to learn and play as it is more about the skill and fun of playing than easy gratification. Do yourself a favour and buy the physical board game too, it is awesome and the expansions (both physical and digital) are must-haves, as they are both excellent, and the app versions are a total steal at the price. ✓ Great game, with possibilitiesAs an avid fan of the board game, I think this offers close to what you can possibly hope for out of an online experience. Really great, fast fun replica. 2 changes would make this game amazing and 5/5 for me: 1: if there could be some kind of tally or counting of each of the components which make up the final score, it would build the suspense better for calculating the final victor. 2: there’s no way to see what the AI’s are playing who aren’t to the immediate left and right of you, so it makes it hard to know what cards are still in the game. ✓ Fantastic, but small bugsI love this game and am very impressed with the implementation. I’m also looking forward to the Cities expansion and hope the wonders expansion (China, Byzantium, etc.) is coming too. I hope a design choice is changed in the future. When trading with neighbors who both have the resources I need, I want to split and buy one from each (especially when I have Hapshetsup), but I don’t seem to be able to. The problem with this implementation is that you must be online for it to load up and start. this is a little bit silly if you want to play against the artificial intelligence off-line. ✓ Needs one thingLet me be clear, I love the 7 Wonders app. It’s fast, it’s smooth and polished and it’s just a lot of fun. It’s also one of the best board game implementations on the App Store, in my opinion. There’s one problem, and I’d hoped it would be updated, but so far it hasn’t so I’ve actually dropped my score from 5 Stars to 4 Stars. The fact that there is no pass & play functionality is just unforgivable in a game such as this. It’s the same thing that Colt Express suffered from and it really needs to be added to bring this back up to a 5 Star rating. As it is, it’s worth your money and time, and while the game has been updated for the better since its initial release, this is still the one glaring issue that I see missing. ✓ Great implementation, but lackingVery stable and high quality game. AI is really balanced and I can’t stop playing solo! There is one problem though, there doesn’t seem to be an instruction manual... I own the real version of this game and it’s really nice referencing to the manual when you forget maybe how the science cards point system works. I know there’s a tutorial but I am already an experienced player looking only for a point of reference when I need a very specific question answered (eg. ✓ Wonder-ful digital adaptationI’m a huge fan of the board game, and I think you guys did a great job on the digital format. My feedback: There is a bug where Halikarnossus counts the card collected by its wonder twice sometimes. I’ve had it happen a couple times, but people abuse this in online play occasionally if they know how to exploit it. I would like to see more records kept in game, maybe like a stats page tied to your account (win-rate, number of games played, highest score, wonder win percentages, etc.). Doesn’t have to be too fancy, but this could be a really cool feature that a lot of us more nerdy players would really appreciate. The user interface is great and I can usually find what I’m looking for, but looking through the card selection history it can be difficult to tell which card was taken. If you held your finger over the icon and it showed the card that would be awesome. The tutorial was very good and was a nice touch for beginners to learn enough to get started and veteran players to learn the controls. The games flow very well and are the right pace. It doesn’t feel bogged down by clunky controls or interface. I like the timer in online play and the matchmaking screen is clean and easy to understand..Version: 1.3.1
✓ It’s ok if you only want a solo experience or to play randomsI encountered bugs during the tutorial (freezes). The tutorial is not all that great for getting up to speed with the game and though it’s universal is a little too small for the 6 plus screen, so would not like to see it on a smaller size screen. it’s missing a pass and play option or the ability to play against friends so is only really good as a solo game at the moment. I’ve never played 7 wanders at the table so as an introduction this has not enticed me to play much more or pick up the card game :( *update* I’ve watched a few How to’s on YouTube so got a better understanding of how the game plays, once you work that out it’s an enjoyable game, it’s good to hear the resolution issue is being worked on. I’ve a feeling this will end up being I played and instead I’ll grab the card game, unless a pass n play (hard with this type of game) or online play with friends becomes available, this seems like a Bluetooth option would be ideal for a room full of players again nice to hear that’s being considered/worked on good work developers 👍🏻.Version: 1.1
✓ First update is an improvementThe game works, it is 7 wonders, it looks good but... it is hard to tell what is going on. There is no indication of when neighbors buy resources or who you need to pay for a resource (unless you have the option to pay either neighbor). You can see what card your neighbors have but it would have been nice to see a short animation of their decisions to make it more noticeable. Heck the game plays in 3 minutes so slowing it down would not be a problem. Speaking of animations, a few could have been thrown in to spice up the game, it feels pretty clinical now. There is no option to select ai difficulty. The first update did address the biggest issue with the game... needing an internet connection to launch. ✓ No downtime??? It has no uptime!Excellent game. Sadly it seems to be running on servers powered by ENIAC. On the very rare occasions it has remained stable enough to play a game to completion I have enjoyed it. On the 90% of occasions when the server kicks me or other players off for god only knows what reason, less so. Edit: many thanks for the developers responding. 1) I note you say there will be server changes in February- I wonder if these have already gone ahead as the game seems eminently more stable in the past two days. 2) apologies for my snarkiness- I have been truly excited about this game becoming available on the iPad and was immensely frustrated I couldn’t enjoy it. 3) The game is, at its core, fabulous, and this implementation is also fabulous (provided the server stability remains) 4) thanks for responding. ✓ My favorite board game!Finally available on a mobile device! Other reviewers have hit both the highs and the lows: gameplay is smooth, and you can play a good game, quickly. On the other hand, there's no option to change ai difficulty, or to allow multiple local players. Another useful tool would be the ability to see, prior to the start of a level, exactly which base cards are in play. I always forget which duplicates are added in with a 5, 6, and 7 player game. Thanks for rolling this out, it's a lot of fun and I look forward to future updates and the chance to make this a 5-star rating..Version: 1.0

✓ A decent port, never realised the game could be played this quick.My only real issue with the game is that the bots constantly seem to want to go to war with me, but not against the other bots, meaning most of the game is spent waiting for military cards, however maybe that’s just my experience. I love a good science run, but constantly having to match or beat military level stops that happening, it’s hard but not impossible to win consistently giving an 11 point advantage to both bots. (8 for them + -3 for me over 3 ages). Other than that I like the game, and have never had a single glitch. Looking forward to expansions..Version: 1.1
✓ Well Worth the WaitI’ve been hoping for an online version of my second favourite board game (Eldritch Horror pips 7 Wonders for me) and as soon as I saw it, I snapped it up. It’s a very faithful reproduction of the original game, easy to understand interface, helpful where there are choices to buy resources or claim freebies and looks great on the iPad. Very pleased leaders and cities are included. The graphics are spot on and the music is a nice touch. Cannot find any fault with the sole exception of recording stats. Given as there’s a 7 Wonders Companion app, exporting stats across should be a simple bit of coding? Hoping the wonder pack and/or Babel will be included soon, together with Catan, Cupertino and the promo card leaders (Will, Stevie etc). ✓ Great app, but.....I've had no real issues with the app's working on my iPad Pro. It plays quickly and seems solid. My beef is with the score keeping. I can't count the number of games I've lost because it cannot or will not tally properly - especially purple cards! It's really disappointing to make a great play near the end of a game and only score a seemingly random and small number of points for it. If you're playing this -and you should - review your own scoring at the end of the game. It won't change anything, but at least you can feel vindicated..Version: 1.1
✓ Great game, could use minor improvementsI love the tabletop version of this game, and the app is true to the original. I did the quick tutorial, and it was really simple to figure out, but I can see how it might be frustrating to jump in without the tutorial. So far I have only played the AI, and I’m disappointed that I can’t increase the difficulty level. I’m consistently winning, so I foresee growing bored with AI (unlike Carcassonne, where different AI players have vastly differing strategies and skill levels - I’ll never get tired of that!). I guess I’ll have to try the online version. The display is good, but I’d really like to be able to easily see cost of wonders and military win/loss tokens of opponents, and to see opponents’ cards when playing with >3 players (without dragging down). Overall, though, I’m really enjoying it - and it plays so fast!.Version: 1.2.1
✓ Flaky multiplayer and poor end gameI love 7 wonders and the app was much anticipated. Good overall but I have never been dropped from a game before but with this one I disconnect often and it says I left the game. Also, at the end of a game on the summary screen you see the totals in each category but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to see the breakdown of each category to see how each number was achieved. A way to see more detail at the end would be well received..Version: 1.1
✓ GreatGood boardgame and the iPad conversion seems almost better as it negates the faff of the pieces and scoring although the digital version is all over very quickly (5 mins per game) and seems a tad dry to defeat bot3 again. But kudos for a slick conversion. Now make the even better 2p Duel variant. Make it for 2 humans so I don’t need to carry the cards on holiday 😀.Version: 1.1

✓ Good Start7 Wonders is one of my favorite games, and I’m psyched this was created. The gameplay is pretty good, everything works as you would expect. Things move quickly particularly when playing the bots, and I haven’t had any glitches, very well done there. On the downside, some of the card/hand details can be hard to see, i wish they could be a bit bigger, but it’s still totally playable. It’s great to see that they’re working expansions, the game is definitely better with Leaders and Cities, can’t wait. If all goes well with that, I’ll probably update my review to 5 stars. ✓ Amazing app, but one major flawEverything about this app is great except for one thing: why does the game have to end when the game host leaves? It’s really annoying because there are so many sore losers who leave before the game is over just because they know they’re gonna lose. Please change this in the next update. Everyone else should still be able to play even when the host leaves. Either that, or, don’t allow everyone to see each other scores during the game so nobody will know preemptively if they’re gonna win or lose.Version: 1.3.3
✓ Good with bugsA good 7 wonders implementation for sure I’d have liked slightly plainer background textures and UI so the cards stand out better. I’d like on the phone to be able to see the cards played by players other than those directly adjacent to me. Some kind of reporting like in the scorer app would be really amazing. I’d love to see how I have placed in 3 player games versus 4 etc, or how my scoring breaks down amongst the different categories. Something like a leaderboard would be great too. Bug report: attempt to find an online game. Cancel. Join local game. After a few cards get played you get kicked from the local game against bots. I’d love to be on your beta panel and you’d get a ton of great feedback from me. simonrshepherd at that big site beginning with the letter G * edit for leaders update: bug alert! If I play Aristotle, and a science wildcard, (eg the guild or Babylon’s wonder stage), science is sometimes not optimally calculated. Eg I have 4 tablets, one cog and the wildcard guild + Aristotle. The wildcard being a protractor gives me 28 points but the app makes it a tablet which gives me 25 points. Please fix! Lost a game online which I actually won!.Version: 1.2
