✓ Great app so farInformative, and full of useful tips. Being an amateur photographer I was looking for something to help me get the most out of my shots and for some helpful hints and this magazine does that! The free trial persuaded me to take a look, glad I did. As for 'Mr not fooled' you have to enter your bank details for any subscription in iTunes even if it starts with a free trial but the money is not taken from your account until the renew date at the end of the trial unless you turn the subscription off beforehand..Version: 3.8.1
✓ Focused, timely, relevant guidance for enthusiasts and aspiring amateursAs the first photography magazine subscription I've ever purchased, each issue of Photography Week focuses on one specific technique, style or creative challenge, which keeps me inspired and motivated to get out and master that week's subject. Monthly photography magazines have often overwhelmed me with possible challenges and assignments in a single issue, and I never find the time to learn all of them. However, Photography Week succeeds perfectly at isolating the myriad of potential subjects to one topic per issue. Photography Week doesn't feel like a magazine. It feels like a photography program at a world-renowned art institute, and I look forward to every issue like the next session of class..Version: 3.8.1
✓ Great app content needs more depthThe interactive nature of the app really makes reading this magazine a pleasure. The content tends to recycle itself every few episodes. Also the reviews of cameras and gear tend to be superficial. It's probably fine for a weekly but an occasional in depth topic would really help. Thus withholding the fifth star..Version: 3.6

✓ Easy light reading!This is a nicely laid out publication which, although fairly light on content, is also very light on the pocket. A 12 month subscription at £20 makes for less than 40 pence per week - less than you'd paid for many a daily newspaper (often without any real 'news'!). It's very much designed to be visually appealing and play to the strengths of the iPad / tablet, which it does very well. If you embrace the whole ethos of it and get involved in the Facebook and Twitter side of things too, there's plenty more information to be had too. All in all, very good value for passing an hour or two once a week..Version: 2.2.5

✓ Mag ReviewI took out a subscription because I enjoy reading the magazine. Sometimes the app plays up asking for more subscription and sometimes the auto download doesn't work. I have submitted photos but have never had any selected but I also don't know that they have been received. Someway of acknowledging receipt would be good. The recent change to the format seems to have left the content a little on the light side. However I really enjoy the weekly fix of all things photographic. Keep up the great work!.Version: 3.8.1

✓ Fine Art 4 AmateursI have done fairly serious, low budget shooting, employing proven, long established rules of art, such as the rule of thirds, side lighting along with the importance of planning, sturdy tripod when others may be proned to hand-holding and bracketing for 28 years. Now that my old film SLR work is replaced with today's digital power, there are both an adjustment curve and the world of editing images. I don't see the need for every issue. But any aspect of the art a photographer should seek council, Photography Week is a valuable companion. The recent issue on HDR imaging blessed me with fundamentals I intend to carefully begin a new art form in my portfolio. Photography Week, as an app on my "New iPad" is gorgeous. Developers provide hide away tips on example images and removable text over example and cover images. The app works smoothly with modern innovations. Thanks to the writers for their fine instruction, accessible to all students of the art. WELL WORTH THE LITTLE BIT OF MONEY I SPENT FOR THE PUBLICATION..Version: 3.1.6

Often read it on a Friday as part of my lead into the weekend. It gives me a quick top up of interest and curiosity to encourage me to make sure I take the opportunity over the weekend to press the shutter button. ✓ Very useful app saw immediate improvements in photos....I love how I always walk away learning something new from each magazine. I find it more enjoyable to read than regular magazines with its vibrancy and interactive media. My only complaint is sometimes it feels as if there isn't enough content like it could use a few more pages and longer articles. I also can't find an unsubscribe button anywhere! I often get time to read a full mag so smaller weekly bites works well for me. The iPad was invented for this type of magazine, it works real well as a format. Cons: doesn't get too in depth ... Although for me this is not a big issue. And you do get it weekly. Difficult to know when you have read every page.Version: 1.0

✓ This is what iPads are made forThis weekly magazine is fresh, beautifully presented and the interactive, multi-media features really make the information come alive. I am fairly new to photography and have learnt absolutely loads from this magazine. It's a very approachable, unintimidating style, from the editor's opening video and blog to the reviews at the end. They understand their target readership very well. I think the weekly format is a huge advantage over a monthly magazine as your are not overwhelmed with information. Every article is useful, beautiful and inspiring. This is fantastic value as well, much cheaper than a physical magazine would be..Version: 3.6
✓ ABSOLUTELY LOVE ITThis is a great app and for those screaming fraud, perhaps you should take time to read first. The first five issues are free. You do have to subscribe to one of the plans and then turn off the auto-renew. Unfortunately that is an Apple thing. Give the app and magazine a chance. I kept my subscription due to the great content. I even follow on Facebook. I am an amateur photographer and am learning so much. Also, the app is just fun to use. There is NO FRAUD here and only a small amount of effort is needed on the part of the user to get the free issues. Give it a chance. You will LOVE it. And for those that may think this is a "phony review" take time to look at my history and note that I review many other apps both for the good and bad. ✓ Problem when deleting old issues.....Subscribed to this from the 1st issue and all seemed well till I came to delete the issues I'd read. I select the ones I want to delete and they disappear from the app but when I check the amount of memory used by the app it still shows as though they aren't deleted. I currently only have one issue downloaded within the app but when checking app usage within the settings app it shows as this app using nearly 3gb!!! If I delete the app and reinstall then it frees up the storage again till I download issues again and try deleting them again when it then still shows the app as using gigs of storage space even though the app says all issues have been deleted. Please sort this out as it's a real pain having to fully uninstall the app and reinstall every few weeks to free up storage on my iPad!!!!!.Version: 2.2.5
