Took a moment for me to get it working, because it starts out in list mode, and the shift to scan mode is via a tiny touch-button at the bottom of the screen that's easy to miss. (Perhaps this is the problem the one-star reviewer had that made them think it doesn't scan.) But once it's in scan mode, it's simple to use.
