✓ Something wrongI keep trying to stream the games and 1) the app freezes up after about 10 minutes and 2) my phone gets very hot after streaming the audio. It is draining the battery like crazy..Version: 8.0.0
✓ App No Longer WorksI used to use this app a lot, but now it no longer works. It brings up the splash screen, but then sends me back to IOS screen. I've updated to latest version of the app which seems to be source of problem. My only support recourse is this review..Version: 6.1
✓ App has taken steps backwardsThe listen to broadcast times out and stops transmitting. After a few rounds of restarting to listen to the broadcast the Listen button on the main screen stops working and launches the web browser to watch the game. This app needs a lot of work. All the writers have a title to their article, yet you can’t read the article on the app. If you want a poster for each game, great. ✓ HorribleDoes this developer even read the reviews and fix glowing errors??? The audio will only play if the app is in the foreground and active. It stops if the screen locks or if you use any other app. That’s HORRIBLE!!! Who wants to keep messing with the screen to keep the phone from going asleep???? ✓ Come on guysI used to love this app but now that you have to keep the app open and literally can’t do anything else it’s kind of hard to like it anymore. Can’t even simply send a text message or let you phone go to sleep to save battery without the broadcast you’re trying to listen to stop playing..Version: 6.2.0
✓ Used to be great, now, not so much.This app used to be great but now the audio stops when the screen goes to sleep. Fix that problem and it’ll be great once again. I used to enjoy this app because it allowed me to listen to games even when I was out of the area. Now it’s pretty much a waste of time because who wants to sit there and keep messing with the screen so the audio continues. I’m usually trying to do something while I’m listening to the Heels but now you’ve made that impossible. Please fix this. Does anyone even pay attention to these reviews? Several people have made the same complaint about the audio and nothing has been done and to the best of my knowledge not a single person has even received a reply. Very disappointed. ✓ Update killed functionalityThe most recent update has totally ruined the app. It’s been impossible to stream game audio but either plays for a minute then the app crashes or it redirects me to a website that doesn’t load on my phone. ✓ No Pause OptionThankfully Learfield/Sidearm Sports has given us a GoHeels app with streaming of games. However, there is no pause option for syncing the audio with the TV broadcast as the HDTV broadcast is well behind the app audio. A pause button would allow for matching the audio with the television, thereby increasing the use of this app - something I would think Learfield/Sidearm Sports would want. ✓ Time out message each timeWhen trying to use the app to access my tickets or view order history I get time out and each time after just keep getting a time out error. ✓ Used to be great until redesign last monthThis app used to be great!! But the redesign update last month is terrible. Every time I try to listen to the livestream of a game broadcast, my phone gets super hot and the app randomly quits working multiple times throughout the game. Before the redesign it worked great. ✓ Listen to Baseball!Hi, The sole reason I have the app was to listen to carolina baseball! I am disappointed that for 2 days now I have not been able to listen! I understand that it is not as popular as basketball but if you want fans to continue to us this platform then maybe you need to provide audio to all sporting events instead of picking and choosing! ✓ A messCan’t keep the app from sleeping when streaming audio. Also live events often don’t show up, so you have to choose an upcoming event and hope it takes you to the stream you’re looking for (to hear the March 22 men’s basketball game I had to choose an upcoming women’s game). ✓ Used to be easier to find and use schedulesThis app is good for tracking all UNC sports but keeping one sport’s schedule available on screen takes much more navigation than before. Also, there is no way to put the games into your calendar from the app. This was a very useful feature in previous versions.
