How it works
With CellOPark you can instantly start and stop parking a paid parking session in a CellOPark zone by using the app to scan the sign-posted QR code or select the zone number; confirm your car from a list of vehicles in your account and press ‘Start’. The cloud based CellOPark portal gives you secure access parking to your history as well as the ability to produce reports, change your account settings and control your parking payments online.
The optional Premium membership is $1.99 per vehicle per month and only charged in months the CellOPark app is used. Premium account holders receive push notification reminders after driving away from a parking bay and SMS reminders before allowable parking time ends.

✓ Very convenient appI use Cellopark regularly and regard it as one of my most usable apps. I no longer need to keep small change in my pocket for the parking meters. I do occasionally forget to turn it off though when I move out of the parking space. A good enhancement would be if the GPS detects a movement away from the parking spot the app alerts you to switch it off. Would save me a bit of money..Version: 5.70
✓ Love for convenience butLove this for the convenience of the parking offered on campus at my university but I should not be being charged the cost for the whole days parking if I leave the spot after midday. I don’t know if that makes sense but I park from 9am - 1pm and you are required to pay for parking between 8:30am and 4:30pm. If I leave earlier I don’t want to be paying for the 3 and a half hours I’m not using the parking. Not sure how this can be fixed for future as it is very frustrating..Version: 6.61

✗ Good try but has basic design errorsThe app does not accept a non-Australian bank or credit card (feeble) but does not say this- it just gives an error message without explaining what the problem is (very feeble). The fees are not clearly visible before starting the parking period. Most seriously, each pay point seems to have a separate number so you have to walk to the pay point to get the number to put into the app. You can’t just do it from your car using geolocation (fantastically feeble). Look at how other countries do it (eg RingGo) to see how a well-implemented parking app is done..Version: 6.5
✗ Worst app I have ever used.Worst app I have ever used. Why Brisbane City Council switched from in-house to these incompetent app designers I’ll never know. Seriously the sms service the Council used to do was WAY better! It takes ages to use the app, finding the car park meter! Yeah right good luck! Then they say it stops charging if you leave the location. The funny thing is, is I had a feeling it wouldn’t work, but decided to try the feature. Nope it charged me for all the time after until I decided I couldn’t wait any longer and stopped it manually. So don’t get caught by that! Over all it really is a disgrace of an app. Cellopark: In relation to your response to this Review.. I don’t think you understand how bad the app is. You say you use it in the exact same manner as SMS?! That’s the most incorrect statement in the world to compliment the worst app in the world! You do not simply enter the 4 digit meter number like in the past. You first have to find you location in Australia then then the associated meter! After you’ve finally reached that stage then there is also a selection of about 100 odd ones that come up under making it an even more confusing and lengthy process..Version: 5.70
