TrueMetronome Lite for Negative User Reviews

Literally does nothingWell this is a first! A “lite” version of an app that literally does nothing. You can set bpm, but not start the metronome without paying! Utter rubbish..Version: 3.7

Rip off.I paid for this silly thing! And still I get the wall to wall ads...which I hate! It's very clunky and hard to adjust. Don't waste your time and money!.Version: 3.2

Not impressedYou cannot use the app at all without in app purchases. Hugely disappointed.Version: 3.3

This doesn’t work.I’m in Band at school and I need a metronome at home. I searched up this app, and I thought it would work, but it was a waste of time downloading it. You have to pay for the full version. You see the price “free” and think that’ll work great, but it tricks you! I suggest if you are in band at school learning how to play the instrument and your teacher tells you to get a metronome app, don’t get this one. In my opinion, this was a waste of time downloading it, and not a very good app..Version: 3.4

ScaryWhen I use this metronome, it sometimes goes a bit louder than usual then change to be more softer. The detail is very slight but it gives me the shivers 😰. It will also pause for a second at times which isn’t normal for some apps. Can I just mention that the black curtain in the back could be hiding something monstrous?.Version: 3.6

PointlessDidn’t work. Immediately told me I needed to upgrade..Version: 3.2

Not to shabbyIt is a good app, but I only wish it could do more than just a metronome.Version: 3.1.3

COULD BE PERFECT, BUT............Timings are great, sound is great, everything about this app is great, except the adverts! As they appear, it affects the rhythm of the metronome and it jumps! Utterly, utterly useless! Whats the point of creating an almost perfect electronic metronome then ruining it with adverts THAT ACTUALLY AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE APP ITSELF? It's crazy. Such a shame. A very good app spoiled by commercial greed and influence..Version: 3.1.3

Bad, so badVery pretty image fooled me. I downloaded before I read the reviews. I could not get anything to work on the app. Bye bye.Version: 3.1.3

PoorTo set 120 beats I had to pay for another app. Offered as “free” I am disappointed by this..Version: 3.4

True metronomeIt isn’t a very good app really really you have to pay £2.99 to get a better version which is pointless!! I do not recommend it 😐🤷‍♀️.Version: 3.4

Pressing start asks you to upgrade. Useless.Didn’t get to see it or hear it. Useless..Version: 3.2

Good but limited beats160 only?! Sorry but I would not like to pay to just apgrade it. This is really bad. Boo.Version: 3.8

HorridIt makes you pay 💰 for the ticking noise you could do that on your own which means you are just wasting your 💰😤😤😤😤😤😤.Version: 3.4

Hate it!U have to buy it for to work! It should just charge to start! Annoying!.Version: 3.1.2

MehI needed a metronome to do my practice nothing special.Version: 3.4

Would avoidSays it is free than later to use it , they want you to upgrade for a payment. also difficult to use ..Version: 3.5.1

Don’t want to pay the subscription fee in 3 daysI don’t want the free trial! Can’t find anywhere to stop it. I’ve been to my iPhone settings and it doesn’t show that I’ve paid anything yet….obviously because the 3 day trial isn’t over. So do I have to wait until they charge me $7.99 a week (which is absolutely ridiculous and a total scam/rip-off)! Then after I’m charged the first time I can try to find out how to cancel the subscription! If you get $7.99 out of a bunch of people after you charged them once you’re making a lot of money…..scam.Version: 3.7

Don’t waste your timeDownload this and you have to pay to use it not even mention.Version: 3.7

DowngradeInitially, the free version of this app included a caption at the very top that indicated the name of the selected tempo, like “andante”, “andantino” and so on. It seems now to have been removed or maybe locked for a full paid version. I take this as a downgrade of the app, which is not very clever strategy, mainly when you have a lot of other apps that offer the same service also for free..Version: 3.2

Why?Why the heck is it upside down on my iPad? N better or worse than anything on google free, but convenient to have as a GO TO, without having to search. That’s all..Version: 3.7

The appIt’s ok but the annoying part is that it has ads.Version: 3.4

Misleading advert...You have to pay for this to workApp does not work at all unless you upgrade to the full version. There no BASIC functionality. I don’t understand why Apple allow companies to advertise “In App Purchases” when to get ANY functionality you need to pay. Very poor advertising standards. Be warned about this app..Version: 3.5.1

Doesn’t workStill doesn’t work.Version: 3.7

Lite restrictionIts kinda annoying some things have lite restrictions. i cant go past 160 or use skins..Version: 3.4

Free version Useless!!The free version didn’t allow you to change the speed! That’s useless! Just a waste of time. I wanted a truly free app.Version: 3.7

It’s okCould be better.Version: 3.2

Nope.Don’t get me wrong… I appreciate a good app that keeps time. This one is digitally modeled after a classic metronome design however, the heart and soul of a classical metronome are absent. This abhorrent design gives you a “DING” on the ONE (or where ever you choose to place the ONE), gives you no option to turn it OFF, and lends you no options to tame it’s tedious ‘wooden’ throwback sound. I grew up practicing to a REAL metronome. This sounds like a cuckoo hitting a hammer while an elf comes out to smack a nail on 1. If you dig “DING duck duck duck”, then this is the app for you. If you prefer something a little more musical, check out some other options. Ooof. I never thought that my life would lead me to the point of posting a bad review for a digital metronome app. But here we are. Honestly… do yourself a favor… invest in a real metronome..Version: 3.7

Don’t botherIt doesn’t let me try ANY tempo. For it to work it asks you to purchase the app. How can I trust it though???.Version: 3.5

This is just a metronomeWhy can't we change the colors it's just a metronome.Version: 3.1.3

Worst app everI am 10 years old and practising for my grade 3 exam and it messed up my timing and everything.Version: 3.4

Not a working appYour supposed to download, see it doesn't work, then pay money. That is not an app but a demo.Version: 3.4

A disgrace to musicThis app has gotten on my nerves 😡. Absolutely atrocious and keeps on glitching. This shouldn’t exist 😡..Version: 3.7

It’s notCuz I’m not going to use my money on this.Version: 3.4

Scam cant useU have to pay.Version: 3.7

Great concept, lacking somewhat in executionPretty basic. That isn't a bad thing in itself – a basic no-nonsense metronome app, overburdened with precisely zero unnecessary features, but it's a little lacking in execution: *the tempo slider is oversensitive (requires fine movement of the thumb to set) *it's pretty finicky to start and stop the metronome. I like the _idea_ of dragging the ticker to start it, but in practice it's easy to accidentally move the tempo slider instead, (because the "hitbox" is far too large and has no activation timer), which is then a pain to set again) *the tempo cannot be adjusted when the metronome is already ticking (the +/- buttons needn't hide once it's got going) So, with a bit if polish and QOL improvements, this app could be great. As it is right now, I'm likely to keep using one of the other more "digital" looking metronome apps that are just less of a fiddle to work with. When you're drilling something that you're focussing hard on, you don't want to be bothered by something fiddly to use. The ease of accidentally sliding the tempo when you go to start the metronome is probably the biggest issue there..Version: 3.7

Well..It is a good app but i can’t hear it over my piano 🎹.Version: 3.3

Doesn't workNo instructions on how to start it, only on how to buy full version, about to be deleted..Version: 3.2

I withI wish it says what is the bets and the things that tell you fast or slow..Version: 3.2

Does not work. You have to buy the full version in order to use it..Version: 3.1.2

GoodGood.Version: 3.3

READ THIS NOW!!!!Trash just trash!!!!!.Version: 3.5.1

Sooo badYou have to buy the full version for it to work 😡😡😡.Version: 3.2
