✓ Good game, but tedious animations, no asyncThe largest failure here is that there is no "off" setting formthe animations. The combat doesn't need to have a sidebar pop up with a lame animation, and I dont need to see the zombies shamble, or my pawn move slowly. Its hardly cute and really just makes the game pace slower. No async through GameCenter? Are you serious? Like, that should've been #1 on the list to have in the game. Good, overall, and I like the game, but no async is really stupid, and no 'animations off', board game-like switch is a horrible oversight..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Faithful to the board game.As a recreation of the tabletop board game, I'd say this game is right on the money. My only gripe so far the slightly cartoony graphics, which are incongruous with the faithfully reproduced art on the cards and figures from the physical game and it's expansions. The cartoon-look certainly keeps the game light, but I prefer the creepier nature. Visual style aside though, the actual gameplay is still fun, though like somebody else mentioned in their review, it can still take a long time to finish a game..Version: 1.3.3
✓ Wonderful!I absolutely love the original board game created by twilight creations! This app is a beautiful digital remake, the app works just like the board game, if not easier and cooler. The only input I can give that would make this app even greater, would be the art and characters need a little work to look less cartoonish and more like the actual board game art. And also to add all the expansion sets maybe as in app purchases? Anyway long review short, this game has a lot of potential to be one of the best on the app market and it's really fun when you play with friends, with the ability to customize your character and easier in app navigation even people who aren't zombies fans would love this app!.Version: 1.9.3

✓ Great Board GameThis is a very well done board game. I've never played the physical version, but am quite happy with this digital offering. Interface is done well, movement and camera control is smooth and intuitive. Leaves little room for improvement. Great single-player...but multiplayer is Pass & Play on same device - game description does not clearly state that. I hate handing the iPad around the living room to play a game with friends (eventually someone drops it). ✓ Great game but...This game is great the only issue I have is the dice aren't random and there is no editing the rules you can only use the stock rules. I think increasing the total hearts, zombies and maybe even the tiles could prolong a game but lead to more fun. Would still recommend.Version: 2.0.1751

Nice production values and love the re-use of the card art in the game, I'm really glad they weren't 'cartoonised' like the tiles. One minor and one major gripe. Minor: please update the graphics and text to be retina. It's quite blurry on my iPad 3rd gen. Major: No asynchronous multiplayer?!?! This is perhaps the most apt game to have this feature, but alas it is local pass-and-play only. I'd give 5 stars and buy it again if you included this feature in a future release. Please tell me 'it is being worked on'. Other than that, this is well worth 20x the paltry 69p I just paid for it. I spent over £30 on the board game version and add ons. Reminiscent of dungeons and dragons the board game, die rolls and strategy come into play for game completion. My only critique would be that there should be an option to turn off the 25 kills victory off and just reach the helicopter pad to win. If there is a way to do it, it would be greatly appreciated to know how. I think it has made it quite simple really, explaining the board game to new players was always a bit daunting but the controls are simple and it plays well. I am over joyed at its release for iOS and am delighted by this edition. If you have ever played the Zombies!!! tile game and enjoyed it this is for you. ✓ Fun board gameThis is a nice implementation of the board game. As far as I can remember, this gives more play options. You can play solo with bots or in survival mode. The bots don't always provide a huge challenge, like a real person would. I have crashing issues, which can be frustrating when you are deep in a game. I am running latest iOS 7.xx. Game has tension as your lives and bullets deplete and zombies approach. Winning is never assured, but at least in normal mode you can respawn with half kills. That way you can stay in it. Definitely worth the money. Wouldn't mind seeing the expansions start to get added..Version: 1.7.0

But I wanted to let you know it's very difficult to find this game searching in the App Store, I tried Zombies!!! And couldn't find it. I ended up searching the web and using a link to get me to the app in the App Store. I think you guys have done a fantastic job and I wish you nothing but future success. ✓ ExcellentReally glad to see this. Had the board game for a while and the app is a great way to learn the game. So handy not to have to set stuff up and not lose pieces. ✓ Underrated GameAside from the fact that the graphics are awesome, this game does support local pass and play multiplayer - just change one of the CPU players to human using the cog icon. The game has yet to crash on my iPad Air, i'm not really sure what the other reviewers here are experiencing as I have yet to experience it. They probably could have made the UI more intuitive as some players are too lazy (hint: stupid) to explore the different options available. I wish they could also have brought in the expansion pack from windows phone to iOS. And also allow us to sync our Xbox live accounts so we can use our avatars there as player models..Version: 1.8.5

✓ True to the board gameIf you've played the board read no further just buy it you'll be in heaven. It's 100% true to the original board game. I love the 3D and the comic style graphics they really make this stand out from the crowd. I've been playing this solid on iPad 2 and it's never skipped a beat. This is not a first person shooter, having said that first person shooter fans might well love this change in style and direction. It's a strategic game which has endless playability the board setup is different every game, cards give you extra variation and as you add more players the game changes yet again. If you die you spawn again and take to the streets the two ways to win are 25 kills or make it to the helicopter first and fly out of this dead zone! Tactics are endless you can go on a rampage or you can duck and weave while building up weapons and ammunition and those key cards waiting for your time to make a run for the chopper once it arrives! I hope they release the extra expansions that are available in the board game format and multi player online would also be a bonus. Having said that it's brilliant in pass and play mode with up to five players it's a zombie no brainer buy it now!.Version: 1.3.3

✓ Great implementation but the presentation...I love this game, and it translates everything from the board game perfectly to a tablet... except the animations. Why did they keep the characters on the little bases? It looks almost stupid to have them hopping around like cartoons and very much takes away from the art direction of all the cards and actions. ✓ Very faithful adaptationI've thoroughly enjoyed this game since first discovering it was available (as a long time fan of the original card-based table top series, I'd been dreaming of a digital version like this!) I think they've done an amazing job adapting the original version to this app format (keeping the original artwork for the gameplay cards was a particularly nice touch) Just a couple of (very minor) things I've noticed since first getting the app (and updating it a few times): 1) when I first started using it, my avatar had an actual name – now it's just a long string of numbers? 2) when using the axe in the current version, there are no longer TWO swing sound effects (just the one, final blow) It was weirdly satisfying having both "swing & crack" sounds play back to back - so if possible, please fix in a future updates! ✓ Worth the buy!!!Well for what you paid for you get more than enough to play over and over again for hours and get your friends into the game with the old pass and play. We hope for more of the expansions to make an update to the app to make the game even more long lasting. ✓ I see the helipad.... But look at all them ZOMBIES!!!I am a huge fan of the zombies games and love playing them, this game is almost identical except it dosent take forever to pack away. I like the board games more because i love haveing the small (or massive) city's filled with small plastic zombies :3 i hope the extra sets are free DLC as haveing to pay for each one (there are 13 so far) is going to be expensive, im very happy although i wish i chould change my charictor name as my name is just a bunch of numbers and letters.. I only give it four stars instead of five because there are still a few bugs that need working out. ✓ Faithful to the board game.Pros: If you were already a fan of the board game, you will love the ability to save your game without having to worry about any of the pieces getting knocked over. Options to play a pre made board speed up the game for those who might be impatient, while playing the standard game can add hours of playtime (look out, it can be addictive)! While there are not a whole lot of achievements, the few available are quite difficult to complete. Synching with iCloud allows you to pause a game on one iOS device and restart it on another. Cons: None of the 11 expansion packs are available, and neither are the other two games that can be played simultaneously with Zombies!!!, specifically Humans!!! and Martians!!! nor any of their 2 respective expansion packs. So don't expect any radioactive zombie clowns, dogs, lawyers, doctors, wrestlers, miners, musician, cheerleaders or martians. While I enjoy the Pass-&-Play multiplayer option, is it possible to add a online multiplayer feature later on down the line? Overall: I would definitely recommend this to either the D&D crowd or any Survival Horror fan. Hopefully future updates will make all the other games and expansion packs available, and maybe a multiplayer mode in the form of online notifications that could be played over extended periods of time. ✓ Solid version of the board gameThe current app is a very solid, smooth single device adaptation of the board game. The cartoony style of art allows this game to exist as a family friendly little game. Not tactically deep but a very faithful version of the physical game. Great for that play together as a family game that isn't candyland or monopoly. The developer has also promised to add online, async multiplayer. ✓ Good but dodgy diceGreat game, better than the board game. My only gripe is that the game decides to kill you off every now and again. You might have 5 hearts and 6 bullets but you throw 5 x 1 in a row. Happens a lot. Usually when you enter a new building and have a lot of hearts and bullets...the game decides to 'even things out'. I'm sure the game producers would deny this, but you can check the stats in game. I have about 30 more 1 dice rolls than any other number. Getting 1 three times in a row is VERY common. ✓ Good cheap funI own the original board game of Zombies!!! and this is an exact replication for iOS. Good fun build of a great board game. I hope to see some of the expansions in the future. The graphics are spot on, just wish there were more avatar styles to choose from or a way to edit your avatar other than color. The style is a bit cartoony though. Would have liked the game to be a bit more "Adult" style wise. All in all though an excellent build of a great tabletop game. ✓ As good as the board gameI've been waiting for the app version of this board game for a while now. It was a must download as soon as I saw it go live. And I haven't been able to stop playing. A must buy if you're a fan of the board game. However, I wish a couple of things were different. I thought zombies weren't allowed to go back into buildings once they left (or have I been playing the game wrong). And aren't we allowed to play multiple cards per turn? Maybe a future update can include the "guts" tokens, from a later expansion. Lets you hold more/less cards. Either way, LOVE this game..Version: 1.0.1
