✓ Good game but difficulty little highI beat the game but the difficulty is very high on the later levels you need to buy the better hats and powerups to survive and a little luck :) But AI just seems too smart when the mummy runs really nothing you can do , and the dont randomly move the are very aware of where you are going a little too aware , even if i make it from one side to another i almost always have to stop digging as a gnome will always seem to be at the exact location im trying to dig too. They need to drop the AI just a little bit to make it more enjoyable..Version: 1.2

✓ ExcellentDig! is a brilliant Qix / Volfied variant. That is, you dig your way across the play area, dividing it into two parts (not necessarily in a straight line). The smallest division is then removed from the level, exposing various artefacts that can be collected. Repeat this process until 75% or more of the level has been removed. To complicate matters there are a variety of creatures that, if touched will remove one of your characters lives. Some follow, some patrol, while others just lurk. All must be avoided. Creatures can be removed from a level by removing the area of ground they are stood on. Periodically hats will appear at the edge of the play area. These provide extra lives and a variety of bonuses (dig faster/slower, immunity from one creature type etc). You can determine which will appear by spending in-game currency at the museum shop, where you can also buy various one-time-use defensive objects. The overall presentation is great: Good sound and graphics throughout. There's a good tutorial to get you started too. In terms of criticism, Dig! takes about 20 seconds or so to load. It can be a bit disconcerting the first time and could easily be mistaken as the game crashing. Dig! is a great game and well worth the current 69p / 99c price tag..Version: 1.1
