✓ Great game bogged down by bugs; one player onlyPerhaps the most intriguing aspect of the game is that it lets you explore quite freely, including revisiting places, and seeing different things and people as time passes. It's even better than the first book! However, this aspect is also ruined by bugs. I keep "closing loops" by reaching places where simply no options are offered. I return to the map at the end of a dialog, look at the map, but there are no blue flags, perhaps because I had visited everything nearby. Aside from the bugs, it's a fantastic adaptation of a great book. Some requests: it doesn't allow multiple saves, our whole family wants to play! Also, the constant Tweet button is annoying, could it be disabled?.DA&CVersion: 1.0.1

✓ So soMaybe because I missed the first game but I didn't follow the story. It seems your goal is to get to a land beyond a city. So you spend your entire time crossing this city. But the map shows that you could just walk around it. Little annoyances like being given only one possible direction to go even though you are just walking down a road. You can't backtrack. Why not just move me to the next interaction point? It takes 45 swipes to page through a spell book end to end. And the ending was a let down. ✓ All my data gone!I like the game though I have been playing it all day. Got the best weapons in the game but I couldn't quite get all the magic lines to unlock the castle so I tried again, twice. The second time round I was recovering a few lines for the gate when I realised I was stuck in a no redemption death zone. So i used the backwards time travel to a highlighted blue bubble, only to realise I had been sent back to my first time warp. I have lost hours of gameplay and I don't see how I could have the patience to do what I have done. If a undo button was added this problem would of not occurred. Don't take me wrong this is a great game but at the moment I'd rather not have bought it..($7;$;;'Faust$;&;;&($;):&;8;Version: 1.1.2

✓ Sun stone bug. Plz FIX!BUG!PLEASE FIX!!! The app is amazing, 5 stars all the way, I only gave it one star so that it could stand out, and get more attention. When you come across the statue and the hut on the main road, I cast a sus spell and go inside hut, clean out hut, return outside look at statue, cast law spell, have statue take off necklace, and then have statue kill himself. The description said that I picked up the sun jewel from the necklace and put it in my pack, but when I open my spell book, and inventory, the sun jewel is no where to be found, and my spell book still has "sun jewel required" for the sun spell still colored in red instead of black. ✓ Fun but frustratingThe game and play style are great but the amount of times you have to rewind is ridiculous. Where is the incentive to keep playing if you can't continue your journey? ✓ DisappointingSeeing the other 8 people vote 5 stars, I thought this would be fun. I wonder if the game's creators voted yet. Ultimately, I finished the game in one day but I was given the option to redo the places I had already been too to gather clues. Having only one path to walk at times made this inconvenient. It was over very quickly, there was nothing to do except play dice or move yourself forward or backwards to see if you can win at combat. I am very interested in all kinds of games, including text games, but I couldn't enjoy this for long with the limited options..Name iss takenVersion: 1.1.2

✓ Illogical, awkward, and too linearBased on the great reviews I read, I was really excited to play this game. However, after about 5 hours of playing, I’m perplexed why people rate this game so highly. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the consequences of your actions (sometimes you make a seemingly logical choice and you die; others times you pick something whimsical and get rewarded with treasure). The spell book mechanics are awkward, forcing you to flip back and forth between menus to try to figure out which spell might help in a given situation. And the storyline is a bit too linear for my taste, not allowing you to go back and explore areas you have previously been too. ✓ Liar diceI can’t stand this game. I’m stuck with the old man in prison. Why is the old man so good at this. He doesn’t guess wrong. Also the text color is almost the same as the paper color. ✓ Good game but buggy as hellI had been delighted to find that part 2 for Sorcery! had come out and I have been eagerly awaiting it since I had finished part 1. As I set out to continue my adventure, I found it stopped by several game breaking bugs. Whenever I went to the gambling halls and decided to verse the sailor I found that I couldn't even finish off the last round as the game crashed whenever I went to call. I closed the game several times and reopened it, all to no avail. Saddened by this development, I decided to uninstall the app from my phone and to reinstall it, hoping it would work, although all my hard work would be erased with the reinstall. Having just reinstalled the app, I find I cannot even access my save file from the previous part without the game crashing! I really enjoy the game and the new mechanic of swindlestones but when I can't even start my game that's a serious problem..MyrhhiVersion: 1.1.1

✓ Major step backwards from the first installmentIn the first installment, I felt as though I was really choosing my own adventure — there were so many things I knew I was missing as I blundered my way through which really made the game feel magical and unique, and made me want to replay it to see what I’d missed. In this one, you have to wander aimlessly through a city, covering every inching and getting thrown backwards or killed at any “wrong” step. You’re forced to collect 4 spell lines, ensuring that you experience the exact same things every time. I felt as though I was being railroaded by a storyteller who insisted on me playing through one particular story. ✓ It's okBut sadly not as good as sorcery 1. I didn't read the original books, so all nostalgia aside, this game doesn't quite live up to the freedom of choice the first game offered. There's no real decision in the game, or paths to choose, as you end up doing all of it no matter what. So there's no replay value. in one play through you can explore every route and complete the whole thing... Hope sorcery 3 is better! Still, this is worth a play...
