✓ Annoying😧It’s stuck! I which I read all the reviews and ratings before I bought this game. I just deleted :Math Tango because it wanted me to pay. ✓ Too many adsThere are ads. Lots of ads. More ads than I have ever seen in any app ever. When I say ads, I mean LITERALLY EVERY TIME MY FINGER TOUCHES THE SCREEN, the game cuts away for an add. Maybe if I were to pay for something this would change but the problem is that this will NEVER happen because there are just too many ads to know what it would look like. It's a shame too, the game has a cool premise, decent graphics and looks like it could be my type of game. And it started out fine for about a day but then the ads came. First just one then another then another and they didn't stop. Sometimes you even get an ad cut away after you close another ad. ✓ Waste of timeI recently purchased this game and have been playing it everyday, it's fun, one complaint I have is getting more swords. You pretty much need swords to explore the jungle, complete goals ect but to receive more swords you have to level up which takes time and then you only get 2 or so, or download apps or buy them. ✓ What happened?!I don’t know what happened about a week ago, but the game is all messed up now. Every time I reopen the app, all my buildings are rearranged and pushed to one side of the cleared area of the island. Sometimes all the clear area is filled with a white fog, and sometimes the forest/brush area just disappears or rearranged itself so I can’t tell what I’ve cleared and what I haven’t. Don’t make purchases they won’t go into inventory, had to get a refund from Apple. After 99% of the buildings are finished they become a black square, you have no idea what it is unless you press on it. Ads don’t work, visiting violets island doesn’t work. Quest lines are so random, it’s enough to make you want to quit. Having said all that, I still play, just a few minutes here and there a day, it has all the potential to still be a great game. ✓ Entertaining with major caveatsThis is a fun society-building game. The progress is slow if you don’t wish to spend money on swords, but it is still quite enjoyable. My biggest issue with this game are the glitches. Sometimes the “daily rewards” fail to show up for days on end, and certain “missions” cause the game to freeze and need to be restarted. Unfortunately, as this is a “mission” based game, this glitch can stagnate your progress. Also, and more seriously, at times the game refuses to load at all. It will stall at a certain percentage, and there doesn’t seem to be any definitive solution. Deleting the game and reinstalling it (sometimes multiple times), seems to work *some* of the time. Though I find the gameplay quite entertaining, the glitches are a serious buzzkill..Version: 1.10.4
✓ Game Stopped Open & RunningI’ve been playing this game for years! I’ve had it on several devices & I keep getting more houses etc. I’ve invested a lot of time & effort into this game & I used to love it. However, there is something I uncovered yesterday with a sword that forces the game to quit every time I tap on it! I have no clue why it’s doing this! No other items I’ve uncovered with a sword force quits my game. This has never happened to me before. Now my game won’t open back up at all! I do not want to lose all my progress. I tried contacting support & support will not load on my phone at all. So I’m leaving a review so support can contact me instead! This is very frustrating! ✓ Lots of fun but!This game is great to play but it takes too long to expand your play area. Swords are to hard to get hold of without spending $$$. They should be a bit easier to get through gameplay. More should be given as a reward when you are able to level up..Version: 1.1.7
✓ SwordsI am disgusted with the game, the message said I could get up to 1 hundred swords if I opened the chests, so I spent money to buy swords so I could open the chests and I ended up with only 10 swords, I world have been better off if I had of kept the 15 swords that I bought. ✓ Black screenPlayed for one day on the second day every time I attempted to open the game all I got was a black screen. Regardless of that "little" bug, I was going to delete the game anyway. You need swords to play and the only way to get enough is to buy them. You can try to get swords by doing a survey, but that is more personal information than I am willing to give. ✓ Don’t waste your timeThis game could of been great but unfortunately you need a lot of swords to complete tasks (which are hard to come by). You supposedly can earn free swords through doing surveys but the surveys are long and you never earn any swords after you go through all the work to complete the survey! Quests/tasks have an expired date on them. If you pass the expiry date, you cannot complete certain buildings started and you have no way of removing them, so your beautiful island ends up looking crappy with a bunch of unfinished buildings sitting around. A lot of the decor items (paths, flowers etc) aren’t even found in the shop and nothing is categorized properly, so you spend a very long time scrolling through a list of a billion things before you can find what you are looking for. For people like me who chose this game largely for the fun of decorating my island, this is disappointing. Many items require gold to purchase them, and gold is hard to get. They need to separate the items requiring gold to purchase with the items requiring silver so you can find what you are looking for faster. The list goes on. There is zero customer support, you cannot make neighbours (friends) despite supposedly being given that option and having certain buildings that can only be complete by making neighbours. ✓ Swords won't replenishStarted playing this game last night, it's great, fantastic graphics! However with most games, like this.. The things to go further and explore normally replenish over time, however the swords to explore the jungle haven't, I have levelled up and it only gave me 4. I will not be paying any money to go further as I think that it really unfair! Normally I do pay money for games if I really like them but considering I only started playing this last night. ✓ Way to many adsThe game started out great. It looked decent and seemed like something I would play regularly, but the second day, it became impossible. First, there are way too many ads in the game. I get that free games have ads, but this was just over the top. Secondly, you can't do anything in the game without using swords and once you use your initial stockpile , it's nigh on impossible to get any more without having to purchase them with real money. Third, there are some quests I don't want to complete and there is no option to delete or skip them, so I have a quest box, a pop up box telling me what I have to do and a big bobbing arrow directing me to the quest permanently on my screen. For instance, one of the quests is to invite 5 people to play the game. I don't want to do that because who likes getting spammed with game invites...but it won't let me skip it practically forcing you to do it to continue and clear the screen. I have sent hundreds of Rockyou friend invites (because none of my facebook friends play) and still haven't been able to add friends. It takes forever just to earn enough gold to complete missions.
