✓ If you’re rich and need to waste money, download now!This game is great if you have about $20,000 American dollars to “invest” (waste) on building your tribe. Law of the jungle for example I have a strength (might) of 2 million, I will have to attempt to battle guys with a strength of 95 million!!!! Why do these developers consider 45:1 a fair fight??? There is many players same size as me, same buffs and roughly similar heroe sizes. But I never get to battle them. We do all get the same troops, but I am just starting in these game and I have to compete against guys with maxed out hero’s, maxed out hero skills and huge buffs!!!! Secondly you will get bonus points for acts of cowardice. You can jump in on fights that are almost finished and gain full points, then battle the remaining team for bonus points even though he is almost dead. If have 5% life remaining, a new battle should not give full points to the person killing me. I suggest trying another game that requires skill to win, not only money!!!.Version: 1.4.100

✓ Game of warNo difference, accept the cash grab is resources. You cannot switch kingdoms any time soon. If your in low kingdom, the game is a complete bust. Battlefield is frantic and two button attack system. Example : One 10 minute fight would cost alliance over a billion resources in troops loss to heal. ✓ Ehh. GoodSo far it’s got a cool concept, unfortunately it makes the game a bit much. This is definitely for the person who has vast amounts of time to sit and be dedicated. Like other games , rise of kingdoms, call of dragons, etc… you manage your camp and scout the outside world. In Viking rise you have a camp and several other camps within your camp to manage making it a lot of click up-keeping. Definitely for a multi-tasker. Zooming out would be nice but only give you small portion of your camp before zooming out to real world cause you to zoom back in. Lag seems to be an issue, constantly buffering on my new iPhone. Overall I’ve played a few hours and it’s abit overwhelming. As a free to play father of 4 it’s not for those who don't have dedicated time otherwise your left behind and with so much more to manage vs other games listed above, it’s a definite possibility you will get kicked later on out of guild..Version: 1.4.6
✓ Leaving this… again!So I played faithfully… like everyday… I had an 80+ day streak… I LOVED this game and I LOVE my tribe mates. HOWEVER, I HATE bullies and my entire server is OVERRUN with them. The top tribe has like 10-15 different “sub tribes” that bully you and relentless attack you until you join their clan. Having to keep a shield up so my city doesn’t get attacked but then if my troops are out gathering they can still be attacked.. I have literally lost half of my original tribe due to these bullies. I understand it’s a war game but there should be more balance to the servers and give a PvE option. I wouldn’t have continued like I have if I knew right from the get go that it was this bad… especially with the server I’m in. And trying to talk to Customer Service is a JOKE..Version: 1.4.131

✓ You need to do something ASAP about top tribesSo, game makers, like so many on here have pointed out, unless you want just these three top tribes only playing this game, I suggest you change the game play for others and other levels. New tribe members have no way of properly advancing when they reach a certain level and one of these top tribes decides to attack everyone. They lose a ridiculous amount of resources that take ages to acrue and in some cases, have spent money to gain back might and troops. I have contacted developers on the game live chat and tell me to follow a procedure as far as technical solutions my end. After completing those tasks (including reinstall), there is no change. ✓ Such a shameStarted off good, didn’t have to spend loads of money, I liked the idea of the pay monthly £10 after a month started seeing more and more p2w, more things opened up that cost money and gives advantages and then the gaps started in the power between players, if you attack anyone or have a war, then don’t bother playing for 2 days and it’s take this long to heal your troops, and drains all the resources you have to heal so again have to spend money to heal or wait, 2 months in the p2w will divide into 2-3 tribes and rule everything, f2p you will not stand a chance, if this game lasts they need to make pvp more fair, as for the mini games, we’ll roll those dice because it so unbalanced it’s unreal, 4-5-6 times a player killed me and other players and still wasn’t even in the red, such a shame as the game started off really good for the first month. ✓ Great game, just can’t play with friends.I have had a lot of fun playing the game. However, as with a lot of mobile games, you would expect that you could play with your friends. Unfortunately, it’s just not the case at the moment. The game places you into a server when you get to a certain stage of development, but what they don’t tell you is that you cannot change servers or request server change to play with your real life friends. So kids don’t be like me and spend money on a game that doesn’t allow you to do such a simple thing like enjoy companionship of your local friends. ✓ App Developer Steals Your MoneyThe game is fun and great in a lot of ways. You do need to spend to level up and be competitive. Which is fine. I do spend to buy resources and level up in the game. The issue I have is I noticed on certain purchases my credit card was charged 3X the in app purchase amount. Provided customer support a ridiculous amount of documentation on the over charge error and all I got was they will file a ticket. Provided all documentation requested and no refund. File a ticket. So I had to file a complaint with Apple and do a charge back on my credit card. If you want to play a game where you spend to stay competitive. BE AWARE. ✓ Unfair player advantagesThis game is great in many areas but unfortunately there are things that ruin a player experience. The game recently launched KvK. We have been endlessly bullied by a player who has the funds to keep himself well armed. To win KvK mist times the same kingdom must cooperate to compete against the opposing side. In our end its not the same. If a tribe member is not following rules set by leadership, we have the option to remove them. During KvK you are unable to do so. Which in result the player can do as he/she pleases. In our case, a player is breaking all rules taking advantage of his ability to do so. In a way its cheating since he is aiding the opposing kingdom. Customer service sees this as a Okay strategy and the game is designed to be PvP. So I share my review with 1 star since its a frustrating situation when I am also competitive and cheating is allowed in a game. This game was extremely fun until this happened. Took most of our resources. We are a small tribe and not very strong. So it seems unfair that they could do this. Strong tribes should only be able to hit other strong tribes. After you reach tier 2 characters it takes over 36 hours to advance and researching new developments in this game also takes far too long 12+ hrs per research item at level T2 unless you purchase gems or skips. In order to play this game enjoyably it will cost some serious $$$. ✓ TediousEXTREMELY fun at first: great graphics, very generous with gold, resources, and space; LOTS of different things to do that keeps the game fresh and interesting; HOWEVER, after some time everything becomes repetitious. E.G. tasks to send workers on, fun to look for at first, then after just the right amount of time they begin pointing out all the different tasks. You think ‘great! Good move by the game-maker’s, I was starting to bore of looking around (albeit the rewards are substantial). But then that gets old: they take you around the streets to all the errands needing done, you point, click, then click gather-for EACH task. JUST HAVE a sign to click once: SEND WORKERS ON ERRANDS! Ugh! And it’s that way with Eagle Scout discoveries (I forget what it’s called, but again, it pays great dividends—just gets old after a while, sigh. And there is an attack map that gets old, too, after a while. You’re having to do all this clicking that originally was beautiful in order to collect enough goods to build buildings and make troops. I’m a geek who enjoys keeping files, but choosing AND equipping the leaders with the correct skills is way too much studying/research if you’re going to do the job right. I made mistakes BOTH times I played the game: and I keep notes. I’d like to love it, but I’m quitting. ✓ Spoilt by too many AdsOne of the best games of it kind, however it is spoilt by too many ads trying to cope you into purchasing goods to move up a level. Early games play is good, because you move at an acceptable pace, once you get to a certain level, it takes longer to move up, unless you purchase goods,skills etc. the higher you get the longer it takes, and more and more requirements are imposed, taking it even longer and longer to progress, you end up daily just taking whatever is available to keep the game alive, without being able to take on necessary battles to level up. Joining a tribe, can help, but make sure it is an active tribe. I joined a tribe that hardly did a thing. One day I signed in only to find I was now the king, had no say whatsoever. It took me five days to find out how to rid myself of this unwanted responsibility. Incidentally, the game plays in the ads are nothing like the real game play, do not get taken it. Each week or season you entice players with the next best things (like the 3 heroes now in kvk) and put them behind a paywall. Glitched events occur often like rat eradication which shut off 24 hours too early, kvk battle day that was a real cluster with lag and game crashes, and the list goes on. I have played from the beginning and still find it a struggle to complete everything……I unless I drop money. I will not. If you don’t join one of these main cults they will destroy you! ✓ Amateur gameDownloaded and played for 2 minutes. What made me uninstall was the part where they made it through the night where “May Odin watch over us” is displayed and 1 guy returns to camp and is allowed through a gate even though the wall that is attached to the gate is half missing and he could have easily walked around it within half a second. ✓ Top 3 tribes destroying GameSo the game consist of 3 tribes basically and if your not in these tribes then your screwed. There’s hundreds of tribes on the game but these 3 are the worse. Somehow have millions and millions of might even though I have been playing the game since it first came out and not even close to that number. So basically…. The top 3 tribes with the millions and millions of might attack all of the young and fresh newcomers in the game forcing them to quit. They also can insult player in the world chat and get away with it. The tribe I was part off lost players every day due to this problem. The game needs to only allow tribes to attack other tribes with similar might. That way more people can grow and challenge the game. The chat needs to be monitored and if any bullying is caught then they need to either be suspended or lose might. ✓ Game lags and company wants more private info.Game lags sometimes and you press over and over to get something to happen, I have a IPHONE 14 pro max its the game. In addition this company is all about collecting data, To ask them to delete your account they want all the IP addresses you have used, Pictures of any transactions with the game / Receipts etc. They also asked me for my home information just to delete. Do not trust them they are more about stealing or trying to steal your information that information is not needed to delete an account. I am not about to give more private info to delete something. ✓ Not rightI started playing Viking rise and was doing good so far and I started my own clan. I was playing everyday right before Mother’s Day and I didn’t play for one day when I was demoted from my own clan and someone else was made leader. That is not right. ✓ Toxic ServersNormally I’d just Star up from laziness/complacency. But after having an entire server(the big $ HOK was first) quitting due to toxic behavior and the kingdom chat it need said. There is no active moderation in chat. So while the game was worth me finding a new server be ready to give up and lose your $ and time because the developers do not care if they are talking like pedophiles for “laughs” or simply chasing you across server’s via the English chat to harass you. ✓ Bad DevelopersIn our Kingdoms KvK we had the most powerful kingdom exploit a bug sending their troops into zone 1 when they were not allowed in. They killed and destroyed many many cities of people who spent a ton of money in the game to build up. The Developers did absolutely nothing about it and did not offer any compensation to those players. ✓ Typically WackWhen I first saw this game, I was like “this looks like one of those town building games where you grind to grow, only to be attacked and have all your stuff stolen, unless you pay to play’. But something about it seemed different. It felt like I could actually grow my town and build up, and engage in the multiplayer fray on my terms. And for weeks I built up my town and it was good. But now - I feel like a sucker. It IS one of those games. I’ve been in hard grind mode for the last two weeks, trying to build up enough supplies to just complete the next campaign battle. But now, I’m regularly being attacked by players who are stealing all my resources. I don’t even have enough resources to heal my troops. All my work over the past month - for nothing.
