Face ID issueI believe the Face ID technology is to ensure secure logins without typing in credentials. The feature exists in the app but after face scan, you get directed to enter your password. The whole purpose of the security feature is useless at this point in the app..Version: 1.1

Won’t download - ResolvedI tried to download this app twice. Neither time would it load on my iPhone. I finally got it to download today and have logged on. I have not yet used it for bill paying..Version: 1.1

Balance doesn’t updateThe App has difficulty recognizing sign in credentials. So after awhile I give up. Then the payment is made but the balance is too slow to update. The payment according to my bank was received but 2 days later the balance is still not updated..Version: 1.6

Too hard s processI forgot my password and had to pay as a guest —- why can’t it be set up that my bank acct is in place and all I nd to do is click confirm??? Please consider an easier process for your customers Thanks.Version: 1.5

Convenient App, Notifications don’t clearGreat app to access your account, however there is a bug where the red notification bubble does not clear. Been there every screen in the app. It’s a visual bug and rather annoying. I will update my review once that issue is resolved..Version: 1.2

Authentication issues during login with face id on iphoneAfter logging in, claims it couldn’t authenticate. I had to manually login again using full login id and password with 2 step verification.Version: 1.2

Washington Gas new appThis app needs to fix the payment option of scheduling a payment for a future date! I was paying all my bills last month including Washington Gas which was not due for several weeks out. The confirmatiom of payment email sent to me had stated it had posted my payment immediately ! It took me quite some time dealing with a rep who clearly did not understand it was an error in App and insisted that I call my bank to stop payment! Since most banks charge a a a fee for this “service “ I finally gave up, hung up and called back! I got a Rep who took the time to call the IT department and was advised that several customers had called t in about this problem and they were working to fix it but it but it may take several months to resolve the problem. He voided my payment transaction to resolve! my issue and advised me to avoid the this option for the next several months. In fact he did every thihg the first Rep refused to do!.Version: 1.1

Poor Customer ServiceI have been having challenges logging into my account since the platform changeover and called several times but have received no assistance resolving my login issues..Version: 1.0

Upgrade? I think notIt won’t allow me to login to my account. It says it’s sending an email to reset my password advising to check my junk mail folder. Nothing has been received. I was enrolled in automatic payments so I had been ignoring the texts about payment reminders etc assuming nothing had changed. I missed a months payment! When changes this drastic occur they should mail a paper copy to customers so they can be aware. With the inability to log into my account I’m going to go back to paper billing..Version: 1.0

GlitchyThe only reason I have the app is because the website is absolutely terrible and doesn’t work. Now, I can’t log in to my account on the app even though I have all the correct credentials. Some glitch is obviously happening and it’s so frustrating!!.Version: 1.4

Do not use, glitch in program that messes up payment and you get billed return and late feesI used the app when released to pay bill and a month later I received a notice my payment was returned, but not only that they system decided to attempt multiple payments and returns so I was billed over $100.Version: 1.1

Update FailDownloaded the updated app that launched July 2023. It just spins and spins. Deleted immediately. I’ll stick with the online portal..Version: 1.0

ReviewWashington Gas has been persistent in telling it’s customers to download the app and to use it. Washington Gas also stated that they will charge a fee if you pay your gas bill with a credit or debit card, yet when I did what they wanted and downloaded the app on 01/19/2024, I was told repeatedly on 01/23/2024, on 01/24/2024 and on 01/25/2024 that:”Your profile on Washington Gas has not been activated” Why? It took calling again 01/30/2024 and speaking with the Customer Advocate, Janel, before my profile was activated! Eleven (11) days later! Why?.Version: 1.5

Useless appUsername and password that work on the website constantly fails to login to the app. Reset the password same problem. App looks nice but unusable..Version: 1.2

App does not accept my credit card ☹️☹️☹️I tried to pay thru app 3 times and my credit card was not accepted. This is the same credit card I have been using to pay my Washington Gas for the past 3 years ☹️☹️☹️ Also the Face ID is hit or miss when logging into the app ☹️☹️☹️.Version: 1.1

No response to queries. Historic data not showing upHistoric consumption not showing up. I sent several queries about this and never got a response..Version: 1.1

AnnoyingThis app continues to malfunction. The website doesn't work either. It keeps it could not validate. I tried erasing the app and redownloading and it allowed for me to start. Then after I put the number in and hit submit, it again malfunctions and says again I could not validate. It won’t allow me to resend the code even though it was entered correctly and then finally says I maxed out on tries..Version: 1.3

Payment optionsTried to put in my banks routing number. Their system does not allow you to put in the full routing number. They cut it off by one digit..Version: 1.1

Difficult to log-inKeep getting an error that I failed to provide the right authentication. The app is pointless, will continue using the website..Version: 1.2

Cannot save bill from appThe app is easy to use but you cannot save the pdf file for your records. In other apps like My Verizon & PEPCO, once you pull up the pdf file there is a share button that allows you to do various things like save or print the document. (iPhone 13 [iOS 17.1.2 (21B101)] 12/15/23.Version: 1.3
