✓ Game released in July but won’t end until October?My gripe with this version of the game is that it’s not “binge-able”, that element was removed with this new version. It takes away its allure and that’s the USP of Netflix in its entirety so to prolong or stagnate the release of the game, reduces its appeal. I don’t see the point in changing the way o release when it worked perfectly with season 1. It doesn’t make sense. Why “fix” something that was never broken in the first place? Hopefully (won’t hold my breath), the rest of the chapters will be released altogether rather than every week. It’s too long of a waiting time, especially considering that the release started in July and won’t be finished until mid October..Version: 1.0.5

✓ Another issue.Rated this a 9.5/10 but realized a few cons now im changing my review. There are 3 episodes a week 2 episodes are like 8 min long and the last episode is just a confessional which is boring. Then you have to wait another week just to play by then i’ve already forgot what has happened. Also, the game forces you to build a relationship with options you’re not even interested in. Being non binary but born in a female sex body sometimes I’m femme sometimes I’m not and there’s NO neutral outfit options for the female sex body type. ✓ Season 2! THTHWelp, they listened to us guys! We finally got season 2. But i’m gonna keep it real…the 1 season was way better. Better story, better characters, better clothes, better twists, better animation. Season 2 seems to be catering to a different audience. it’s become bland. Season 1 was fun. Season 2 doesn’t keep me interested. We don’t even get new characters on the island like we did in 1. We got Ryder but why?!. We need a change up everything going forward with this game. ✓ Absolute downgrade from the first gameThe customization was mid compared to the first game . We got less people to choose from and the rest of the players get shoved into the friend category .The game is about dating what’s the point when we don’t really get to choose the character we want to match with . I wanted to go for Elena and she was thrown in the friend zone , after that I wanted cassia to then shortly realize she was also thrown into the friend category and then I wanted Nora and lord and beyond she wasn’t even an option either which left me with 4 people I didn’t want to choose ..Version: 1.0.5
✓ Limited optionsIt’s okay, I loved the first game a lot however with this one I just feel more limited. I’m not interested in any of the characters but still have to pursue someone. Even if you choose the least romantic options you never get the choice to straight up say you don’t like them. For example in one of the challenges you have to pick a love interest, I almost wish they give you the option to pick no one or a friend that way you don’t have to pick the characters you don’t like. The only characters that I actually like are either friends or Ryder who you can’t even pick for Elena's party challenge. I just wish there were more options, I understand this way it’s more realistic however I don’t play the game for realism, I play it as escapism where a bunch of hot people like me. It’s just a lot harder to get into the game when I don’t like any of them like I had to make myself play it hoping someone I’m interested in would come in as a new islander and then when he did he was into Nora instead. Like I just wish Cassia, Elena, Santiago and even Zayn were love interests, they just seem more interesting and are cuter in my opinion. Or Ryder was at least easier to be with. ✓ Is anyone else game not letting them play?For some reason when I first downloaded the game it was ready for me to start playing then all of sudden it just froze up my screen. So I clicked off the app and went back to it to see if that work but it showed the home page of the game saying “start season” and I kept trying to click on it and nothing happened I don’t know if it’s the app they need to fix or what but it’s frustrating. Also it keeps showing when I go on my Lock Screen that a video is being played and when I click on it it leads right to the app yet there are no videos shown being played on the screen so I’m confused on that part..Version: 1.0.0
✓ Typical Sequel NonsenseSo Ill start by saying I LOVED the first one, ive played it MULTIPLE times, great characters and fun bonus content etc. So i was very excited for this sequel, The customization is a hit, I love the new options and ways it affects gameplay is fun, However- Over half the characters this time are only your friend, this feels extremely reductive compared to the first game. I was hoping they would have expanded the game to allow us to choose the friend character and have stories written for that choice, Personally- every character id be interested in playing out a romantic storyline with is pre-labeled a friend and thats quite disappointing. ✓ Serious downgrade from the previous seasonI really enjoyed the pervious season and I love the fact that it’s technically a “free to play game”, but season two is such a serious downgrade from the last one. The character customization is miles better than S1 but that’s honestly the only improvement. The possible romance connections are extremely limited to only four characters and if you’re only interested in one gender it limits the options all the away down to 2. Everyone else is shoved under the “friend category” and I find it extremely redundant/useless that you need 5 friendship connections in a romance game , it’s just unnecessary and leads to hollow story building. It’s also frustrating that everyone I’m interested in making a romantic connection with is “a friend” I’m currently building a connection with someone I don’t care about. Also three episodes a week is just not enough especially when the third episode is not even a real “playable” episode that adds zero to the actual story/game. I find the confesionales extremely boring and I almost always just click through it. Please just get rid of them for the next season or add another episode to the weekly releases because just two 8 minute episodes are just not enough.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Dropped the ballAll I have to say is why are there only like 4 people we can romance?! And what if we don’t find any of them attractive? I feel like I’m stuck “building a connection” with someone I don’t want. I love the customization in THTH2 but thats about it. If you paired the customization of THTH2 with the broad range of people we could form connections with from OG THTH game it would be AMAZING. Whoever decided to give players less options for romance should be cut off from developing future games. Atleast let us start a relationship off as a friendship and then give us the option to progress. Bummed because I’ve been waiting for this game to come out for a year now…. And this is what I get. ✓ Limited love interestsI do love this game and like alot of the other reviews say unlike most games similar to this you’re actually able to do everything for free, that being said it’s extremely frusterating how every single attractive character isn’t available as a love interest and forces you to be friends making it useless to play reguardless of all the other great things about it. In the first game, basically everyone is in love with you which was annoying. However in this one, either someone wants you or can only be pursued as a friend. I do wish that there was a way you could make someone a friend or a love interest based on the choices you make instead of having it already set in stone. ✓ First game was betterI love that you don’t have to pay to make certain selections in this game. What I don’t love is how many contestants are off limits with dating. In the first game, only one contestant was off limits but now several are. I want to date Cassia but it won’t allow me. I think you should be able to chose who are friends and who are romantic interests. We should be able to have the chance to fall for anyone and not be forced into friendships. ✓ Dislike this entire app and all the charactersOmg. Where to start … i played the first one and loved it, thinking the second one would be even better i downloaded it. ✓ Bummed :(So for starters, I loved the first season of this game. So much so I’ve replayed it over and over again so when I saw that season 2 finally came out, I was excited! I don’t understand why the best looking females on the show I have to be cordial with while majority of the guys are romantic options as if I made that stance in the first place.
