I have enjoyed playing all the previous games in the series and have never been disappointed so when I found Legacy 4 had been added I downloaded it straight away. Gameplay was mostly intuitive, and the puzzles that stumped me at first were solvable with a little more thought. I especially liked the navigation map that allows jumps between areas. ✓ AwesomeI really liked the earlier games in this series, with 3 being my favorite. On this one, the ladder in room 6 never came down although the lever worked and the room got a checkmark. In room 5, I could never get the bridge to level, although that room got a checkmark too. In 5 for the bridge I couldn’t get water in the first container because I’d get a message saying it wouldn’t fill because I had moved the pipe. I wonder if I went through the rooms in the wrong order or something. Despite these problems, I just continued the game and finished with all rooms, including those two rooms, checkmarked. So then I deleted the game, reinstalled it and played through it again. This time there were no problems. Great game and intend to play through the earlier games, then do this one again. Great game! ✓ Extraordinary!This first chapter was incredible. In the beginning I was able to solve the puzzles through trial and error. However, by the second half of the game, I was relying on the walkthrough. I would solve a puzzle on my own, maybe 2-3. But soon I was totally lost. And had to go almost s step by step. ‘Go to this room, pull the lever down, go to another room and and blue stuff. Go back to the other room, and pull up the lever you just lowered. Make sure the other lever is also down…’ After a while, I completely lost track and was massively confused. So I just went bit by bit. Maybe for chapter 2, I need to study the maps thoroughly to ‘see the relationships between all the rooms.’ I will try to do better, and not rely so much on a walkthrough. ✓ Great gameI’m a big fan of the Room, and the Legacy series definitely holds up to it. A lot of creativity went into this game and it’s design, and the puzzles are just hard enough that I may have used the hints option 4-5 times throughout the game (I often find when playing puzzle games, it helps to use the hints a couple times to figure out the mindset of the developer). Puzzles are intuitive, and I love that the answer isn’t always in the same room. Rewarding game, and though the game was definitely long (10 hours of gameplay) especially for the price, I enjoyed it so much I wish it were longer! Can’t wait for Legacy 5 to hopefully come out! Not in an overly complicated way, but because you really do need to think outside that box. For example, smoke signals!! Cheese! The ability to teleport between rooms is also excellent because having to constantly retrace one’s steps like in many other games is boring. The scenery is beautifully rendered, and the mechanics of each room are really well done. The clues are subtle, but not impossible if a player doesn’t want to use hints. I thought I had gotten stuck in a room, at one point, and the character thought to “teleport”. I didn’t recall that, but finally figured out it means you can use the map in the upper right corner. ✓ Amazing!Love the Legacy series and didn’t know number 4 had been released. Imagine my joy when I went to the store to download 1, 2 and 3 to play AGAIN and then discovering a new game!
