Rock ID - Stone Identifier for Negative User Reviews
✓ It’s NOT freeAs soon as you open it asks for a credit card- I wish I could give it 0 stars because it DOESN’T work.Version: 1.2
✓ Not goodDidn’t identify almost all of my crystals and I had like 16 that’s ridiculous.Version: 1.1
✓ Was recommended to meI kept getting recommended for this app, so I downloaded it tried it myself and it doesn’t tell you if it’s real or fake it’s a scam. If you want to have fun with it that’s all you can do don’t recommend it.Version: 1.1
✓ Not goodThis app was terrible kept saying diamond and gold it’s not even close!!!.Version: 1.0
✓ RidiculousWhen I try to take my fourth photo, it says that I need to pay 19.99 a month which is ridiculous!!!!.Version: 1.2
✓ Not what I expectedA product was promised and another was delivered. This is not what I expected from this app.Version: 1.4
✓ TerribleGave me a diamond answer for my Moldavite. I used natural lighting and latest iPhone camera..Version: 1.0
✓ They just want you to upgrade your membershipI tried about 10 rocks and somehow this genius app decided that all of them were flint, every time. Eventually i guess I ran out of free runs with it and wouldn’t show me the rock unless I upgraded my membership. Overall this is a waste of time and irritated me to actually write a review. Take that as you will..Version: 1.2
✓ Doesn’t work can’t even identifyThis app tells me my tourmaline is an amethyst and you have to audacity to ask for payment..Version: 1.1
✓ A little iffyI collect gem stones and do shows, and I have found a few stones that I wanted to confirm on what type of stone it was. I had a raw cut lapis Lazuil, but It told me it was a sedimentary rock, so I wanted to test the product. I grabbed a rock I know is red jasper, but it told me it was carnelian. I would not trust it. Positive note, it give a lot of information about Rick’s, but the pictures does not match both times I attempted. Maybe the app was having a off day..Version: 1.1
✓ Trash appFirst, it says it's free, but then demands you pay. Then, it identified a moqui marble (dense iron concretion as quartz. Utterly worthless for identifying minerals..Version: 1.1
✓ Engagement ring, second ring was a RubySaying my engagement ring is cubic zirconia—it’s certified diamond. Ruby came up as diamond. Maybe rocks on the ground are more identifiable. It did not work for me.Version: 1.2
✓ Could identify between an agate and a rubyDownloaded purchased got the trial then deleted immediately and cancelled. Its not a real thing. It could not id a ruby. I was using it to determine whether the rubies were garnets or not. Suggested that these gem cut stones were agates. Quickly deleted the app. Not worth it. Without proper technology to id stones your cellphone is useless unless you snap a photo and send it to a gemologist it can not really do what the app is suggesting it can. Perhaps some stones can be id’d with a cellphone camera but not realistically. For instance if you expect this app to determine if your diamonds are real or not forget it..Version: 1.1
