Freeletics: Workouts & Fitness for Positive User Reviews

Good but one flawI lost weight on this app, I’ve gotten stronger and I love it! But my biggest flaw is sometimes I forget my cool down which finished the workout. I get busy so the next day I see my workout is transferred to the next day and it’s only my cooldown. So it didn’t mark down the day I did the whole workout and if you dont finish it that day it ruins the cycle and head onto the next day which means you miss a workout. I hate this and I think if you already started a workout but by 12am you didn’t finish it should log in what you did that day because I like a cycle and logging in but now if I forget it says I didn’t do anythin and sets me back a day now..Version: 6.15.0

Long time app userFreeletics I have been using your app for 6 years and really enjoy it. However, your last update is a step backwards. Ran a few PB’s but not showing up in PB log or feed? Interval running- why can’t I see split of all times (missing last km), can’t see complete map of where I have run?.Version: 23.16.0

Please bring back your Apple Watch app!I’ve been a faithful user of Freeletics for 3 1/2 years, and the connected Freeletics Apple Watch app has been an integral part of my Freeletics workouts. I highly doubt I would’ve gotten anywhere near as far with Freeletics had it not been for the wearable tech inclusion to accurately calculate calorie burn, exercise minutes and built in cooldown monitoring (the two minutes post workout when your heart rate returns to normal). Using Freeletics with just the phone itself connected to Apple Health does not take anywhere near as many of these parameters into consideration - there are discrepancies an exercise minutes logged between the Freeletics app and the Apple Health app. Aside from accuracy, it is also nowhere near the same powerful user experience without being able to advance the exercises via your watch without causing between exercises to tap the screen on your phone. You are adding cumulative seconds to your workouts and missing PB’s that you may otherwise have been on target to make if you had not had to pause to interact with your phone. This will definitely be a major consideration for me going forward with continuing to use the service and quite honestly, it will likely be a dealbreaker for me when my subscription is up for renewal next year if there is no return of the Apple Watch app..Version: 22.46.0

Healthy Mind Healthy BodyI’ve always had a goal to better myself mentally, physically, and spiritually. But I felt like I was hit by a Mack truck going into 2020. Everything I built up crumbled down and I fell into a state of depression. When I thought it couldn’t get any worse, the pandemic happened. I did everything I could to get back on my feet, not to fix who I was, but to start new with my goals as the foundation. 11-months into this year, and this is the healthiest I’ve ever been. The biggest lesson for me is that a healthy mind starts with a healthy body. Freeletics is the best fitness app I’ve ever tried and have recommended this to everyone that compliments me in my progress..Version: 6.41.1

Freeletics *****J’adore cette application. C’est le meilleur système d’entraînement complet que j’ai pratiqué jusqu’à maintenant..Version: 23.16.0

One of the most essential apps I have!I have been using this app for almost 5 years. I have been telling people who are lazy, afraid or don’t have time to go the gym to give it a try. It is worth it. It might be a bit expensive and that’s a turn off for most of the people but I would recommend doing a 6 months subscription first. Finish a journey or two and you will definitely see results. If you can’t stick to it, you will be wasting money. I added weights now since I got bored of the body weight workouts but every time they add new workouts, it is always exciting! ’If there is a will there is a way’.Version: 6.47.0

Very goodGreat circuits that keep me motivated!.Version: 3.13

This is the best I’ve used - get this app and subI’m not paid for this at all yall I just love a good invention and this is it. I’ve tinkered with big brands like Nike and noom…some random running/exercise app I can’t remember the name of for a long while…and they just didn’t do it for me. This one? I read about it. Downloaded. Looked around and didn’t think twice about subbing. NOW I have a workout routine. I absolutely appreciate what you’ve done here and I thank you so much for helping me get my health back to the top of my priorities, this app makes it much easier to do and omg do I love working out with a virtual trainer. This is an off day for me and I’m literally looking around for anything at all to be able to use as an excuse to use the app. Not even kidding and no I didn’t get paid for this!.Version: 7.37.0

Pretty cool. Could be awesomeI really like this app. I use to do CrossFit and the fact that there are some set workouts were you can save your scores is really motivating. I love there is pretty much everything you would do without bars or equipment. It does have the muscle up/pull up option which is cool. What would make it perfect? 1. To add more optional inexpensive equipment (box, medicine balls, dumbbells) 2. The social aspect is great. I love to see my friends’ scores and try to beat them. But the problem is that when you click to see a workout they posted, there’s no way to see the workout itself. You have to go to workouts and look for it. That seems to darn cluncky to me. It would be also nice to see everyone’s score once you click on a post to see the comparison not only with me but the rest of my friends. 3. I wish I could skip the cool down because I actually add a yoga lesson after Freeletics. So that is my cool down..Version: 5.16.0

ResultsChanged my life and the way I workout. Been on the app for over a year now. And have never felt or looked better! Thanks guys.Version: 5.16.0

Perfect for my needsI found this app to be perfect for my needs. I am time poor and don’t have a lot of equipment. The straightforward daily workouts of warm ups, sessions, and warm downs, with videos included has totally changed how my body feels in just three weeks. I would love love love if you would add sand bags to the equipment section please!.Version: 24.2.0

FreeleticsLove the program BUT the warm up and cool down has not changed and into my 18th week its getting boring Thy should add stretching programs.Version: 5.14.0

Over a year and many burpees later...I’ve been using Freeletics steadily for a year. The scale says I’ve lost 23 pounds, but it’s more about inches than weight—I now need a completely new set of clothes, and have a new perspective on health. Also, several reviews say you won’t “gain” muscle. Let’s be frank, you’ll get muscles you didn’t know you had, but you won’t get bulky, which is not the goal of this type of program. You will gain muscle as long as you are eating correctly and following an appropriate program. My suggestion is similar to what others have stated: save progress in case of app crashes. Also, would it be possible to include the option for resistance bands with wall mounts and handles instead of free weights?.Version: 6.23.1

Very good, some suggestions for improvementThere’s a lot I like about this, not least that I have a structured exercise programme at home, so I can do something to keep fit while I’m not able to swim. Even after just a few weeks I feel a difference. A few things frustrate me, as someone who is used to swimming and yoga but not this kind of exercise. - I’d like tips on breathing during the exercises. I’m used to coordinating movement and breath, and it’s weird not to have some tips on that. - I sometimes lose my breath and need to pause. A pause button would be good, so you can see what I find challenging, and to make the timings more informative. - I’m a middle aged man. A bit more diversity in your videos in terms of gender, age, ethnicity and body shape would be encouraging! - some of the exercises are at least initially challenging. Give some adjustments for when they get too much (eg in doing press ups, it’s better to put your knees down to keep your core working, rather than to go floppy in the middle) - others might like the macho, bossy tone of Coach, but I hate it..Version: 6.17.0

Life (and body) changingI started with Freeletics a year ago after looking for something convenient where I could work out at home but which would give me a structured plan. That's exactly what the coach in freeletics does, with a range of journeys allowing you to choose what you want to focus on. Crucially, the coach adapts to your fitness and skill levels so you can follow the same journey multiple times and it changes and progresses with you. The workouts are well balanced and challenging but very enjoyable and you can easily measure and see your progress. There are also now loads of other workouts you can choose yourself, including dumbbell and kettlebell ones. The amount of content has exploded in the last few months! The big thing with Freeletics is it's not just an app. There is a strong community behind it which is welcoming, supportive, non-judgemental and in no way elitist. It's great for keeping you motivated and answering any questions you've got. Since finding Freeletics and improving my diet at the same time I have lost (to date) around 16kg and 8% body fat, dropped 2 dress sizes and gained strength, definition, fitness and confidence. I even love burpees now! I was looking for a fitness app and I found a way of life. I wouldn't be without it now..Version: 7.14.2

Really GoodLove these workouts! Been doing them for 8-9months. I am excited about my coach and the anticipation of new workouts every week tailored to my fitness level. Sometimes they seem a little advanced until I complete them and realize how fit I am becoming. The more advanced movements are the goal. I am so excited for the day I can master "muscle ups and handstand pushups." Its all possible through doing these workouts and getting the endurance and strength necessary. The six pack thing is great to for those genetically predisposed for that. But I like how they make me feel most of all amd try not to get caught up in the vanity part. The app does seem to always be getting better and improving its already great product which is awesome. If I could make one suggestion it would be to link the running and strength App with the social network that is built into the body weight app. Thats all..Version: 22.15.0

Get startedHarder than you think..Version: 23.47.0

Not super impressed at the momentWhy can’t I access the free content anymore? I can’t afford to renew my subscription at the moment but I can’t access any of the free content. I only have access to the coach. It’s also frustrating that app support is either non-existent or so had to find that I have to use this format to ask a question..Version: 23.16.0

Genuinely life changingI don’t normally write reviews but had to make an exception for this app. I have been using it for 10 months now - and that is precisely why I had to write this review. It has made exercising a habit. I genuinely look forward to the days I am due to do a workout, I get excited about what workouts it is going to generate for me the week after and regularly think what goals I am going to select for it to generate my next training plan. To put this in perspective, I haven’t lasted at doing consistent training for more than 90 days. Ever. And I’m now 34. Gyms bored me. I enjoyed the results of a number of the Beachbody DVDs (Insanity, P90X, etc.), but they didn’t make exercising a habit for me. In fact they became a chore and after completing I wouldn’t do fitness again for 12 months, maybe more. Last January, after 2 years of doing nothing, being heavier than I have ever been and getting tired after climbing 3 flights of stairs, I decided to give Freeletics a go. What a transformation. I’ve lost a stone, I can run 10km without a problem, I can do previously unimaginable numbers of burpees, press-ups, pull-ups, handstand push-ups and squats. And I love it. Try it. You won’t regret it..Version: 5.45.0

Love it!Great app, great community, and always adding cool new features..Version: 3.3.3

Great app with a few tweaks to be even betteLove Freeletics! I have a few quick tweaks/addition recommendations to make it even better: 1) I change where I workout (and therefore what equipment I have access to) pretty frequently and would love to be able to choose/adjust just a single day’s available equipment from the “Adapt Session” button rather than having to do it for the entire week. 2) I’d also love if you could add rings and parallel bars/dip bars in as an equipment option in addition to the low horizontal bar. 3) Add more support for Apple Health analytics including heart rate monitoring and add exercises that work toward target heart rate. Thanks for a great workout app!.Version: 23.1.0

The best workout app that keeps getting betterI can’t speak highly enough about Freeletics. There are heaps of different workout journeys so you can change it up often. They’re all structured and have skill progressions to help you learn advanced movements. The coach does a pretty good job of setting the intensity and ramping it up as you improve. There are a few features I wish it had but they have a forum where you can post feature requests and the dev team does a good job of rolling them out. It’s not perfect, but it’s more than good enough to stick around while they continue to make the app better..Version: 22.40.0

Love the App but..First of all I’ve been using this for 9 months straight, great app, it totally got me to work out from home which is something I use to laugh about doing. It adapts the workout over time and you really feel yourself progressing. But you have the stop with the status updates!! This is such a painful feature, no I don’t want to update my 2 friends on the app about how it felt to do 10 push-ups. And then again 3 minutes later, do you want to comment on the main part of your workout? If you need to keep this feature for the sake of trying to build community just have a prompt at the end of the workout, not 3 x in the middle. In the spirit of efficiency, I don’t want to play around with my phone pressing buttons in the middle of the workouts, make it smooth, less clicks and less friction. Quick feedback after each step and then move on to the next bit, not 6 different steps. Soon I’m just going to start to do the workouts without the app because I loose so much time fiddling with the phone..Version: 6.49.0

Totally recommend itWhichever is your goal, you will reach it. Just stay strong and focus in your goal. After the first hating week, the second feels smoother. On the third, you will start to love it. In months time, even when you stop training for any cause, your metabolism will still run really fast. You could eat whatever you want in holidays, weekends or whatever. Up to your goals. Join it to a healthy diet and you will feel like everything is possible..Version: 5.9.0

I think it’s worth the priceIt’s an app that can provide up to high-intensity customized workout. It’s nice that you don’t really have to do the thinking since the algorithm does it for you. I don’t know about the algorithm being perfect, but it grows to be accurate in general if you keep providing feedback to it. Keep in mind that this is just an app, not an actual trainer that watches you. It doesn’t know if the workout it has given you is the right one for you until you tell it. Actively giving feedback to the AI seems to be the key. It’s a good workout app, but maybe don’t set your expectations too high from the beginning. Oh, and I heard the weightlifting plans are worse than the bodyweight ones, but I can’t say for certain since I’ve only tried weightlifting plan like once and stopped..Version: 7.48.0

Very goodFirst app I have found that works around everyday changes, no gear or no weights, limited space or need to be quiet. Just tell it and it will adapt. Good value and I am getting good results. Highly recommend giving it a go..Version: 22.5.0

Awesome App!This is my 4th day and I am at level 6 m. Body is sore so rest day today. And back into it tomorrow. My goal is to reach level 100 and then I will buy the full version 💪🏼.Version: 4.22

SurprisedMuch better than I expected. Super easy to follow. No setting timers or working out what exercise I’m supposed to be doing. Weights suggested are also pretty spot on. First week down. 11 more to go on this course..Version: 22.51.0

Good enoughThe app is good and I like the routines. Not enough variety though.Version: 4.4.1

Create our own workout?Have used the app on and off over the past 2-3 years, both as a member and free user. Love the coach and feedback you get. The reason for 4 out of 5 is I would love the option to create your own workout from the single exercises. You have the option of the premade God workouts for planned workouts. But if I wanted to do 3 rounds of push ups, squats and jackknifes for example and reps I would like to try, I couldn’t. I would have to go do single exercise for each of those 3 times each, so 9 total exercises, which is kinda annoying. From someone with a strength and conditioning background I think this would give users greater use, creativity of their workouts, and freedom of an amazing app already..Version: 5.49.2

A consistent part of my lifeI have been using the Freeletics app for over 5 years. During that time, I have changed houses, countries, jobs, started a family etc. Throughout, I have never stopped using the app consistently. Its easy design and motivating workouts means it never gets old. Routines are always within reach, but never boring or repetitive. I particularly like that it includes proper warmups and stretching cool downs. I recommend it to everyone I exercise with. Thank you..Version: 22.45.0

App is great, but no landscape mode for iPad?The app is really great and the exercises are simple and challenging. It would be easily a 5 but I have one major issue with it: I’d really like to use my iPad for the app but it’s really hard without landscape mode as my stand is the keyboard. Can you please add this to the app? I’ve been using my phone with it because the app is sideway on my iPad..Version: 6.23.0

FreeleticsMy app won't work anymore :( otherwise great app.Version: 3.1

Proven resultsI’m returning to the app after a 3 year gap. There’s merit in going back to zero. It gives you perspective and makes you realise how far you actually progressed. The exercises are varied and come with clear tutorials. The app itself can be a little confusing to navigate if your not sure what you want. Back tracking or eliminating routines because of a lack of kit etc can be confusing. But stick with it. Be disciplined and eat well, you will start to feel stronger and fitter..Version: 24.1.1

Gear app!!Best exercise app I’ve ever used. It’s kept me working at a routine for the longest. Even beat my personal trainer! One improvement I would really love to see is If they could add a “ favourite” functionality to the app? It can be a pain to keep searching for “individual” routines from the whole list, each time. 😊 Thanks!.Version: 7.14.2

Super MotivatingI love this app, it keeps me motivated, every morning I wake up I look forward to beating my friends times. The coach feature is fantastic it really pushes me and listens to my feedback and adjusts the workouts effectively. Highly recommended for digital nomads like myself who don’t always have access to gyms but can use the world around them as a gym. If only I had enough room in my luggage for a portable chin up bar I’d be sorted!.Version: 4.25

Great funI enjoy the workouts good way to train doesnt take all day! Hard parts when u physically cant do the excersie but practise makes perfect! Need to make it easier to connect with other fellow freeletic people around the world mayb by having a search for people say in a certain country maybe so we can together help people reach there goals and continue this journey together.Version: 4.6.1

Good but not very fluentI find the content good, but it’s annoying have you have to press on your iPhone every minute or so. No times, just reps also makes it a bit difficult to know how you are doing..Version: 5.25.0

Quite goodDoes a good job. I do well with apps that guide me on workouts and the in-workout UX is clean and simple. There are some UX irritants: I like to check out the workouts by tapping into each interval. When I back out you reload the workout screen for no reason and res roll the page. You should not do that, but even better you should let us swipe left and right from within the workout to navigate across exercises. You should move sound settings (countdown and applause) into each set so we can turn it off dynamically eg if we’re really into a podcast at that moment..Version: 23.10.0

First time I used it so far so good! The only thing though is when I’m doing a timed exercise, before I do it, give me more time to be in position before you start the timer and show a seconds timer for that as well. And some of your exercise videos that are shown are freezed up that I had to press the camera button to see the videos in motion. Please do something to fix this!!! OH and please have a daily weight and calorie tracker in the way that each workout tracks my calories based on my weight I put daily. Another thing, when I put whether I could do less or more reps after each interval, I would like to readjust them after my workout just in case I thought I miscalculated myself the first time I adjust it. And you have some bugs. Please squish them. Thanks!!! Update - Can you also make it a way where you can eliminate or change an exercise to another one in a workout anytime in the coach program? I really appreciate it..Version: 7.32.0

Getting me through lockdownsLove the app! You rarely do the same workout twice and there’re always new exercises being added to workouts to keep it interesting. The social aspect adds a competitive element and makes it easier stick to your training regime (feels so good to beat your mate’s personal best lol). I’ve always done sports, but consistency was an ongoing issue for me. Now, I’m exercising 4-6 times a week and I’ve never been fitter. And this is in the middle of pandemic! The only feature that’d be nice to see is a workout builder, where you’d create your own workouts by selecting exercises, reps, sets and breaks. Overall, 5 stars for sure! Thanks.Version: 6.25.1

Lost Apple Watch functionalityI really love this app. Can’t say enough positive things about the workouts and really helping with my fitness and seeing tangible results. I’ve been using it for over a year now. Almost everyday. The down side. Over the past year it seems the good functionality is slowly disappearing. Why did my Apple Watch app just disappear last week? The original watch app was great, then some functions were removed and it was not great, but it was still useable and really helpful making workouts easier to do. Then the app just disappeared off my watch. I find it really cumbersome now not having it, can someone tell me what happened and why?.Version: 22.45.0

Good app with a few flawsI’ve used this app in the past and I’m glad it has improved. First I love the community and social networking behind the app. The UI is ok but you have to constantly be near your phone . I miss the Apple watch app where I could set my phone down and switch exercises from the watch. Also the health intervention is quirky. It loads each exercise individually instead of the entire workout. I would like to see that changed to include just the main workout. I find it easier to just turn off the Genard integration and just start a HIIT or Other workout on my watch. I think the developers are missing an opportunity with the health integration and the lack of a good Apple watch app. BTW the last one was glitchy. With all that said these programs will challenge you and are designed to get results. 👍🏾🏋🏾‍♂️.Version: 5.1.0

Solid workout app!Very solid workout app, videos of everything while you’re going ! Lots of different plans depending on goals, I never usually rate apps but this one is great!.Version: 23.51.0

Nice programGreat programme..Version: 3.3.3

The best fitness app!I have tried several fitness/exercise apps, and this one is by far the best. It takes safety seriously: it adds warm-ups and cool-downs as part of the daily work-out, so that your body recovers and trains well, and it even gives you the chance to avoid certain areas if they are too sore, to avoid potential injuries. The work-outs are varied, and I can tell that the feedback I give the Coach is taken into consideration on my next work-out. They are hard, but my body has been transforming gradually into the strongest, fittest I’ve ever been. The best results aren’t physical, though, at least in my case: every time I step into the mat I feel calmer, happier, and with a stronger will. Worth a try. Oh, and get the coach!.Version: 5.29.0

Very strong appAfter testing several apps, I have settled on this quality app. I really like that you can just use body weight to exercise, it integrates running into specific programs and the design of the app makes it intuitive to exercise. Plenty of programs to choose from. Highly recommend..Version: 5.39.0

Subscription renewalHi there I had subscribed to freeletics for the 3 months and then it renewed to another 3months so too make sure it didn’t automatically renew again the next 3 months I canceled my subscription which stated that I would still have access till 19th oct 2019 however when I went to enter the app it told me to renew my subscription!! So I did. Expect now I am out of pocket by 2x $54 and I don’t know how to get my app to work so I can being my workouts that I have paid for. I only wanted another 3 months but now I have paid for a further 6 months. Can I please have some help. I really enjoy doing my freeletics workouts but my app will no longer accept my subscription even tho I have 2 payments!! Please help..Version: 5.27.0

The best fitness app everI’ve been a free athlete for 13 months now and I still love it. After about 3 weeks of using the free app I decided to invest in the premium version with a coach. It’s so worth it. The coach pushes me forward week after week and every workout day is different so you don’t get in a rut. The new 6-12 week training programmes are a great addition. If you’re ready to work hard and push yourself harder than you ever considered you could, this app is for you. You MUST love burpees to get this app or at least have a love-hate relationship :-).Version: 5.17.0

Love the app and variety of workoutsReally love the app and the variety of workouts available, it’s completely transformed my home workout routine! I would love to be able to build my own workout from the ‘single exercises’ and the ‘freeletics workouts’ section. The ability to drag and drop the workouts into a daily schedule and curate a routine that suits time and individual goals would be great! This feature would be similar to the coach training programme but would give me the autonomy to develop my own workout. It would be wonderful if you could consider this feature..Version: 7.2.0

Quality if you persistI have been at it for about a year. The paid subs, with the coach, is well worth the money and far better an investment than a gym. There is little short-term benefit outside of unachievable sets of exercises and muscle soreness in the following days. I was surprised that, after about 4 weeks of 3-4 sessions a week that the sessions seemed difficult, but achievable. After 10 I saw genuine benefit in terms of fitness, strength and weight that I hadn’t got doing other things. I am in my late 40s and have been using this in conjunction with cycling. I can fit the workouts around my work life and have found them a great support. If it was the only exercise I was doing I would have not kept it up - the workouts can feel repetitive but I had seen results so was encouraged to keep them up. Coach is very good, and adapts well from week to week (but not within a week). When I was injured I could isolate muscles in the app and not get any exercises that would affect them. The flexibility to mix up the number of sessions and your focus is great. Highly recommended if you are after something to fit into a time-poor life that will have an impact..Version: 5.14.0

How great is this app!I found this app thanks to Alpha M. (A YouTuber) and wow has my life changed, I love using this app and it has helped me with my newly loved calisthenics work outs. This app is also helping with my goals to be a professional athlete. Thank you!!.Version: 3.16.1

Well balanced fitness appI used to think Freeletics was too tough for fitness beginners. But I gave the app another chance and have neither found a better alternative nor looked back once I decided to re-commit my training to Freeletics. The beginner workout programmes are an excellent balance of cardio and strength training with attention given to psychological or mental fitness too. It’s challenging but manageable and can be adapted to your needs..Version: 7.33.0

Tough workoutsI’m 63, fit, active and healthy. I’m not convinced the Coach algorithm is set up for people like me, but I’ll see out the first 3 months at least. My biggest issue is it’s the full workout, usually around an hour, or 15 minutes. Nothing in between. Choose the shorter option and all the equipment, like kettlebells, is removed. What I want is an option for about half an hour with equipment! Big plus for me is it’s pretty varied (I too easily get stuck in same old…) and the demo videos are super clear..Version: 22.1.0

Great results - just add disciplineBrilliant training app. Love it. Well worth the subscription fee. Nutrition app ok with room for improvement. Add the right amount of discipline and Freeletics’ training programmes will give you the results you’re after. Been using int for a free years and I am hooked. The training programmes are adaptable to suit or rather push you to progress and become a more flexible, fitter person. Lots of variety and exercises to never get boring (although burpees are by definition never fun, as such). The yoga inspired warm up exercises and cool down programmes will help you improve your flexibility along the way too. The nutrition side is ok with some really good veggie-focussed recipes (brilliant to open the eyes to more plant based recipes of a non-veggie like myself) but should be able to adapt more to lifestyle and dietary options such as intermittent fasting, keto etc. Hoping there will be an update to cover that off at some stage soon..Version: 22.23.0

Apple watchGreat app! Flexible and varied approaches! Saddly… no longer able to control and upload to an apple watch! This very practical feature needs to come back!.Version: 22.49.0

Be careful - terrible customer serviceThis was a great app initially but now lost my trust completely. Most apps send renewal reminders before automatically charging you, this one doesn’t. Completely forgot about it, and I was auto charged a whopping amount for a yearly renewal. Once asked for a refund, I got a response saying “you agreed to auto renewal when you signed up so can’t refund”. While I understand this, it would be expected to get a reminder (which most apps I have do) because no ordinary person is going to remember after a year. Terrible customer service and absolute money diggers - BE CAREFUL!.Version: 6.11.0

Convenient & Effective!Great app. The workouts are so convenient in terms of space needed and time to complete... i workout in my kitchen on a yoga mat, which is very small, and can comfortably complete all of the exercises in that space. The workouts ramp up at a good pace too. You have to couple this with a decent diet, obviously, but for people who struggle to make exercise a part of their routine - its brilliant in terms of giving you visible results. EDIT: One improvement would be to change the phrasing of the post workout question responses for “How was your technique?”. I take time for proper technique although occasionally can’t do all the reps, the answers don’t necessarily cater for that, for example “I could perform all repetitions with correct technique”. In situations where i have proper form but couldn’t do all the reps this doesn’t really work as an accurate response. I usually assume that the “How was it?” question before is referring to the quantity instead. So it might he better to just remove any reference to the amount of reps from the technique question responses. Or make them separate questions....Version: 5.18.0

Great for a busy lifestyleThis app has been one of the greatest tools for exercise that I’ve ever used! Have been working out consistently with it for 13 weeks now! I love the results and I love that it is simple to use and doesn’t require equipment other than the occasional chair or pull-up bar. Also, most of the workouts are between 25 and 45 minutes which is so helpful for my busy lifestyle! Even with how short the workouts are, they are really hard if you’re doing them honestly and following the counsel given by the coaching program. I highly recommend the coach. It’s pricey but nowhere near what a gym membership would be. I just wish there was an Apple Watch app! (Hint hint) All in all I love this app and I’m looking forward to using it for a long time!.Version: 4.19

Love itI've been using freeletics more than a year. I really enjoy doing exercises with the app. The features are getting better and better. I love option to avoid using equipment during exercise so I can easily do it at home..Version: 5.11.0

Pros and consI use Freeletics as well as Freeletics Gym. I have had paid subscription for personalized coaching for more than a year. Here are pros and cons. What I like: - Precise movement instruction - 12-week personalized program called “journeys” - Each week’s training program adjusted for your feedback (for example, if you rate certain workout too easy, they will bump it up. If you rate something was too much, they will find you an easier version of it.) - Programs reflect what you have at home. Whether you have blank walls, bars, etc. Plenty of options even if you have no equipment at all. - Each day’s workout begins with a warmup and ends with a cool down routine. Minimize injuries. - Points system - Overall, a cool looking app! What I dislike: - Way too much jumping!! It makes me do jumping jacks every day. Terrible for women over 40, I’d say. Too much burpee, also. - Rep counts are confusing. Each side counts as one repetition? Or one each side counts as one repetition? It says the former but the latter would make more sense, especially when the reps are in odd numbers. - I am setting tighten and tone as my goal but it has more cardio effects than toning and strengthening. - No option to add dumbbells to body weight workouts..Version: 6.29.0

Good fitness appI’ve used this app for almost a year to complete at-home workouts, with and without minor equipment. You can choose different fitness ‘journeys’ to go on, depending on your goals. I did 12 weeks of a hybrid muscle/cardio journey twice, and 12 weeks of strength building once. In the hybrid workouts, there are a great number of high intensity workouts that incorporate plyometrics into shorter workouts; These workouts I loved. I looked forward to working out, even if the workouts do lean heavily on burpees, which never became fun. For the strength-focused journey, the workout guides you through weight lifting repetitions. In between sets, the app has you wait up to 3 minutes to start your next set. I found this entirely too long and would often find myself scrolling through the workout, trying to finish up in 30-40 minutes what the app would have you take 60 minutes to do with the extended wait time between sets. The other critique I have is on the flow. For each workout, there’s a warmup and cool down. It is best to do all the laying movements, then move into sitting exercises, then standing, etc. Instead, this app will have you sitting to do glute bridges one minute, standing to do arm windmills the next, then back on your back for leg raises. A more thoughtful flow would have been appreciated..Version: 6.31.0

Used to be good...then wasn’t...now good againAfter a shocking few months or 12 after the 4.0 update, it seems Freeletics has stepped up its game again. Workouts are challenging once more! It doesn’t excuse the terrible responses I received when voicing my concerns to their “Customer Service” team but at least improvements were made..Version: 4.22

I’ve lost 20 pounds of fat now 🙌🏾🙌🏾I’ve been using this app for the past 6 months and I’m honestly happy to say that this is the best shape I’ve ever been in. I look in the mirror and I’m just happy with what I see. I’ve still got a ways to go but with this app along with eating clean this is the most progress I’ve made. Now there’s a couple things. This app is for if you’re trying to get toned/lean. Don’t expect to become a body builder using this app. You will however notice yourself getting meaner, more athletic build, more vascular, etc. What I would do sometimes if I was looking to gain muscle would be to use this app in the morning then finish up with light weightlifting at the gym. But if you don’t care about losing muscle don’t worry about that. The other big thing is how important diet is. I’ve been trying to lose weight for a long time, and it wasn’t until 6 months ago that i got consistent with eating clean and saw all the progress that I’m seeing now. But eating clean I mean I just ate stuff that was natural (chicken, rice, eggs, pasta, fruits, veggies). I still indulged every now and then, it was 80% healthy stuff, 20% whatever I wanted). True permanent change doesn’t happen overnight. If you eat clean, use this app, and just be overall patient you’ll see results..Version: 5.25.0

Easy to useI was sceptical about paying for a HIIT app. But wanted something that was Covid lockdown proof, fit into my work travels and didn’t require me to spend hours a day training. The app is so easy to use. I combine it with the Freeletics Nutrition app and am feeling amazing. I am training 4 days a week and my body is responding well. The workouts are the right level of challenge without killing me (though I’m sure I could set it to kill mode)..Version: 7.31.0

Loving the app but room for improvementI don’t go to the gym and always find excuses not to exercise but I wanted to build some strength so gave this a try! So far it’s very good. It gentle enough that I won’t give up and it’s quick so I can do it every morning without going out - so no excuses. I will update the review after the 6 week program. Room for improvement (virtually all in the cool down section) - you should be able to pause or go back in the cool down. If you get behind you can’t catch up! - if you click to learn a stretch move on the cool down, the routine keeps continuing in the background so you never get the chance to do the stretch you’ve just learnt - cool down seems to be stretching muscles you didn’t use and seems to generic. Would nice to have it custom to the workout just done - to know I’m doing stretches and exercises correctly, it would be good to have a diagram of what muscles should be working! You show this in the main exercise ‘of the day’ but no others. Would be great to see this..Version: 5.14.0

I’ve used many fitness appsAnd this is the best one, by far. I’ve tried Adidas Training & running, Nike Run Club, Fitbod & Shred. From all these, i find Freeletics the most complete. The one feature i was really missing was the ability to use with my watch and leave the phone behind, and just when i thought it wasn’t possible, boom, I found the setting for that (still in Experimental mode). Anyway, After trying the most popular fitness apps, I think I’ve found what i was looking for (u2 ref). I love the interface, the user interaction (you can decide what you want to hear, so no more annoying countdowns from 20)and the sample videos are really well produced... there’s quality and much thought all around, for what I can see, in this app. Love it..Version: 6.41.1

A true workout program that promises obtainable results and how to get there!I’ve spent years trying to find a program that I could stick with and get results. As a naturally small dude, I’ve never done well with gyms, and I don’t have a lot of spending money so I’ve usually drifted towards body weight stuff, but it’s hard to find a structured program for that! Enter Freeletics. Freeletics truly practices what it preaches: freedom in and through athleticism. With countless workouts, guides, tips, videos, and encouragements, they truly do everything in their power to keep you on track. If you do prefer equipment based workouts, they have that too! It’s so easy to customize to the Coach and follow a plan for your goals and body type. It will push you; it will grow you. It will be one of the best decisions you’ve made for yourself! I’ve never written a review before, but after a year and a half on this program, the results are incredible. For the first time in my life, I LOVE how I look. Thank you Freeletics. You’ve made a lifelong fan and follower!.Version: 7.42.0

SuperbMany similar programs available but Freeletics the best IMO because of the customisability. Whatever you’re after in terms of goals, it has something for you. The addition of the dumbbell journey I’ve really enjoyed. Currently doing a sprinting journey. Really challenging but still doable. Warm up’s and cool downs always spot on. Have met good people through the app too which helps with motivation. Highly recommend..Version: 23.3.0

J’adore!.Version: 23.4.0

Coach in my PocketI’ve been a coach subscriber to Freeletics for around 4years. I love the variety of workouts and love that my feedback is always taken on board to creat the perfect weeks program for me. It’s also great to have constant challenges. Also, the Freeletics group keep up to date on new science based health and fitness findings and adjust their program accordingly and offer insights and advice through email..Version: 5.39.0

Loving the motivationFreeletics Bodyweight is awesome 💪 It directs you on what move is next, how to perform that move and encourages you to push hard by timing you against your last PB, cheering you on and letting you know how long it took other community members to finish that workout in. It adapts to your fitness level as you give it feedback. The only thing I am not quiet happy with is; I am at level 10 now so maybe it is early in our new relationship but I am finding some workouts blow me out to drenched in sweat 💦 and other workouts I finish and have hardly cracked a sweat 💦.Version: 4.27

Keep it comingHonestly this is one of the best Apps ever. In my line of work I already workout every week Day in the morning but I decided to give this app a try for my evening workouts when I am bored with nothing else to do. I was super impressed after the first workout. Every workout or exercise will have you sweating if you actually put in the effort. For someone such as me who feels in shape this app makes me want to do better because it changes my perspective of what being in shape is. I was kind of disappointed when I found out that I needed to sign up for a coach to use the workout daily plan function but to my surprise it was unlocked today when I opened the app. I am actually happy that even without signing up for a coach there are still plenty of workout sessions to choose from or you can go with the single workouts. Thank you guys for offering this awesome app thumbs up..Version: 4.33

Love the variety of workoutsI’m really enjoying the variety of workouts the app offers, I don’t have to do any thinking. The app has it all. Freeletics has inspired me to take control of my health again..Version: 22.1.0

Best fitness AppI have been use this for year. The app and workouts are always evolving. Either you can follow a plan or you can create your own. This has a great network of athletes around the world motivated by giving you a thumbs up or encouraging words. Considering I was in my mid-20s when I found this Freeletics and now I’m in my early 40s the workouts adapt with you throughout the ages.Version: 24.9.2

Great workoutsI’m over 1000 workouts in and still loving it. Freeletics has helped me stay fit while working from home with workouts that challenge my entire body. I’ve seen results over the last six months gaining muscle and toning up. I’m looking forward to the next six months to see where it takes me. The coach is inexpensive compared to the cost of a gym, and it lets you tailor the workouts if there are exercises you are unable to perform. Hell week is great too, while daunting, pushing through it really helps you build confidence that you can do more than you think. My only negatives is that the app seems to be a little stale with no major update for a while, I’d like strava integration, and they could also do with tweaking the layout to make it more intuitive..Version: 23.14.0

Stable and well designedGood stable app with well designed interface. Coach add on is good as well if needed but free version is good product in itself. Good variety of exercises included too. I've tried as discarded about 3 different workout apps but this one is the keeper..Version: 4.6.1

Great app and always improvingI started on my Freeletics journey 6 years back when I had my 3rd child. Now my 4th is already 4 yo and I can’t part away from this app! It is part of my morning routine 5 days a week. I’ve seen Freeletics improving throughout the years making it an achievable workout app for the mass. Trust me, reps were very very difficult when I first started~nearly impossible. But through time they made it more manageable. Thanks Freeletics team!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 5 hearts for this app!.Version: 22.9.0

They showed me sympathyLike most people who were u happy about the auto renewal subscription I was a victim too and didn’t realize that my bank was charged a fee for the new subscription which I forgot to cancel and there was not reminder email sent to prepare me. I wrote to their customer support and explained my current situation. I’m in between jobs and in the housing crisis in Melbourne. It is terrible here. Even dollar counts because of the cost of everything going up. Lara replied promptly and assured me that they issued me a refund. I am just thankful to the team who showed me compassion and kindness which is lacking in todays world where Every company looks to extort money out of you. I still plan to purchase on the app but only once I’m able to afford it. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!.Version: 24.5.0

Not freeI thought that FREEletics would be free. My sibling have a free version and I can’t get it. I shouldn’t have to pay for my fitness..Version: 23.12.0

Never bored but I have a suggestionI’ve been using the app for 7 years 10 months and 14 days now, I love it and with the updates I’m getting more results, I’m never bored and here in USA is my personal coach! But I think in the Time you have for a workout, you’re not considering the time between one interval or exercise and the next one. So if you are tired after one interval and another you have to take more minutes to recover, so if you said that a workout is gonna take probably 45 minutes, you are not contemplating the time you need to stop to do the next one! I hope to be clear about my concern, thank you and see you in my year 10 🫡😎❤️❤️❤️.Version: 22.28.0

Workouts are great I just want more options..I wish more workouts were available without the personal trainer program.Version: 4.30

Lost 70 lbs with these awesome workoutsI LOOOOOVVVVE this app and program so flippin’ much. In the past 3 year I’ve been able to build my muscle tone, increase my stamina, and lose weight. At first I thought this was for people who were already pretty fit and athletic, but within a few sessions I found out that this is also for beginners who want to change their body and their health. I look forward to the exercises everyday and they are so quick and easy to get through. The amazing part is that I use this at the gym all the time and it’s helped improve my form. I have amazing arms, legs, and stomach of this app. All I can say is thank you so much for this incredible gift to reclaim my health and improve my fitness. I never thought I would love to exercise, but all I can say is that I am hooked..Version: 23.38.4

This app totally useful!!!Check this app taking for long run. If you wanted do just for short period still fine. You can cut your fats into muscle because of this app! 말이 필요없는 앱!.Version: 4.35

The only fitness app that keeps me on trackNearly four years in, Freeletics remains my go to. Don’t let the photos/your assumptions fool you. This isn’t only for people with access to full weight sets, pull-up bars, etc. I’ve exclusively trained without weights (some simple exercise bands do the trick!) and use my own body weight. I also train in a small 10x6 foot space in the basement. Not long after I started, I could see results. And now I’m in the best shape of my life. Consistency is essential, but I think the secret sauce here is the convenience. No excuses - just one foot in front of the other. I highly recommend Freeletics..Version: 24.3.3

It’s been good for meI’ve been physically active most of my life. Skateboarding in the early years and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as of late. To supplement my Bjj training I started using freeletics with the “coach” years ago. It was good but the workouts were a bit too much so I stopped using it. I downloaded it again at the beginning of this year when the pandemic left me out of shape. I have to say, the “coach” has been greatly improved and seems to more accurately tailor the workouts based on my feedback. With 5 workouts a week (give or take with other obligations), intermittent fasting and almost zero drinking, and at 6ft tall, I’m down from 220lbs to 198lbs in 7 months. I travel for work frequently and it was really great to use the app when most gym locations were closed. Your miles may vary and this may not be for everyone but it’s been really good for me..Version: 7.34.0

IncredibleI workout often 5-6 days a week and have tried various different training plans and apps. Freeletics is above and beyond. If you’re l ok’ing to get stronger, faster, or just change your training routine, you have to get it. The prices are incredible and Hwy you can even do the workouts with actually paying. The paid app offers the timer, active gps tracking for runs, with auto complete once you have reached the desired distance. I have been using for over three months and have had an incredible experience. So good that I signed up for a year after having a 3 month subscription. You will sweat more, do more, and be more sore than you have in a long time! In a good way!!! Take it from someone who trains often and intense. You need to try this!.Version: 5.5.1

Best Fitness AppI started my fitness journey with Freeletics in 2017 and lost about 20Kgs. Not only have I managed to keep it off even with pregnancy but 3 years on I’m in the best shape of my life.Version: 6.9.0

Getting Fit Is Cool NowThis app makes it easy to start working out and getting fit. With easy navigation and many ways to start a workout, Freeletics on my iPhone makes exercising fun!.Version: 3.3.1

Really helped meI’m too broke for a personal trainer, and the programs here have actually helped me figure out how to achieve what I want. The workouts are hard, but easy to understand, and the scheduling helps me keep to what I should be doing, without annoying me about it. Would recommend to anyone..Version: 6.13.0

Honestly amazing digital trainerBeen loving it so far, hopefully I see the results I’m working for 💪🤞.Version: 24.15.0

User for over 4 yrs. Love this appUpdate Oct. 17, 2022. I can finally look at my whole history for a specific exercise and compare it with all my previous attempts. Unfortunately the app quit logging my runs under my history since June. Please fix this, I’ve been improving and can’t show it. I love this app. I travel a lot and don’t always have a full gym available. This app allows me to adjust my workout to whatever equipment the hotel has, or simply do a body weight only day. I like how it keeps track of my progress, although it’s missing a way to quickly find a previous workout to compare..Version: 22.40.0

I am actually not a sports person but I love it!Sometimes it’s hard, but it’s alright. I definitely like that you can choose for your next week what you want to train: cardio, cardio& strength or just strength. You can chose your equipment what you can use and if one of your muscle is really bad you can choose this muscle in the menu and they try to give you exercises without this muscle. Thank you to the team! I am really excited how the next weeks will go :).Version: 5.8.0

Great coachingAfter getting into the gym, which did wonders for my confidence, and getting a specific program there, I wasn’t sure what to do when lockdown hit, not having the same equipment available. So I found Freeletics which proved absolutely ideal and kept me very occupied during lockdown. In the months since, it’s continued to prove a really useful tool, helping to complement my time at the gym perfectly and fit in well alongside work. Very accessible. Very easy to use. And I’m seeing excellent results. I’m probably in the shape of my life now!.Version: 23.15.0

Great AppWell structured, easy to use, it’s awesome!.Version: 5.17.0

So far so good, minor tweaksThank you for such a great app, I’ve just started to use it and so far I’m enjoying it. A few things I’d love to see 1. Fully independent watch app 2. Integration with Apple Activities - this needs some work. For one, I would like a whole day’s training to just count as 1 workout, or at least have an option in the app to choose that for those that want it. I would also like to see general improvements with this. My workouts often say they are only 1-2 seconds, despite taking well over that time. 3. Autocomplete on runs should stop the activity at the set distance, I’m not sure why it’s required that I click “complete” - especially if someone isn’t holding the phone in their hand, this leads to highly inaccurate times..Version: 5.23.0

Love this appThis app has helped me get enthusiastic about workouts. These days I miss workouts if I skip for a day or two. I’ve made a huge progress in just about 3months following the workouts seriously. I’ll continue working out. Thanks freeletics.Version: 5.10.0

Review bodyweight trainingAfter being a personal trainer for 18 years in my former life and moving into the hewing arts and allowing te children and busy family life get in way of keeping my inner athlete. I needed something to drive my sessions with out thinking about it. What i find Best is I can do this at home, anytime anywhere, and what is excellent is the feedback mechanism which then allows the app to tailor and adjust work outs if it is too hard of easy so you always fee it is hard but fair..Version: 5.3.0

Got my interestI have tried a few fitness apps - which probably makes me fussy more than the fault of any app. However, I think this one has some great features. I love the dynamic nature of it, with the options that can be swapped in and out. Struggled to find the free option but decided to subscribe for three months, which is still cheaper than a gym. Would also be great to have a way to move to the next exercise with a vocal instruction rather than needing to tap the screen. If I was able to simply say ‘next’, it would make transitions smoother. It’s hard to stay in time with instructor without voice timing as well. I don’t always have the screen right in front of me. Otherwise, a great app that will get better and I’m hoping I will get better as well. Cheers..Version: 5.13.0

Much fitterI am doing freeletics for one week now with the coach and it is amazing. I feel much fitter now and it makes me want to keep on pushing through. I started absolutely unfit. Like no fitness level at all so if I can do it you can, too. The coach is so worth it does warming up and cooling down etc! I am not disciplined enough to create my own training! Am on a 12 week training now and can't wait to see how the result is in the end. Seen many YouTube videos so I'm pumped. Thanks!.Version: 5.13.0

Excellent App Tao Keep You Going And MorivatedI got this app to help me get my fitness back after a knee operation. Still learning new exercises after a year using it. I have seen so much change in the shape of my body and still enjoy getting up early to do my daily routines. It has become quite addictive and even if I miss a session I am always thinking of ways to get back on track. Highly recommended this app to get your fitness back. This section is after 3 years using this app. They are always coming up with different combinations of exercises and routines so you are all ways working different parts of your body. I am mainly using the app over the winter periods when I can’t get out on my bike. Still highly recommended this app. If your paying £40-50 per month at the gym then change to this app and it’s paid for its self in 2 months 👍.Version: 7.36.0

Fitness for a RefereeFreeletics has made a huge difference to my fitness level as a referee. Being able to choose a journey that suits what I need really plays a part in improving my endurance and fitness..Version: 23.24.0

Excellent personal training appFor those without the means to hire a personal trainer, this is the app for you. Before training with this app, I often felt lost amidst a sea of possible exercises and programs, feeling unsure of where to put my focus and how to go about it. After using Freeletics for over 5 years, I feel both focused and motivated, and I even feel I’ve gained a better understanding of what works best for me in fitness training. I especially appreciate the ability to tailor workouts through feedback given after each session, and before each session if I’m short on time or energy. It’s definitely worth the price..Version: 23.43.0

AmazingI’ve been doing FL for four years now, for sometime it has been the only activity I was doing and for sometime it has been something next to my main boxing training, you do have the results, you have to put yourself in it and believe you can really do it, I’ve had a real good body last year and now i’m getting back in shape using a 10kg vest while I exercise, surely nutrition is the main thing, you can’t give a feedback about results to this app if you’re not eating properly, it doesn’t do any miracles, it’s just a cheaper way to get in shape and much more complete than a gym program madr by the biggest guy down at your gym, just download it, put yourself in it and eat properly and you’ll get the max out of it.Version: 5.30.0

Great appGreat app. Changed my life. Recently it stopped working on apple watch. Not sure what happened there..Version: 22.45.0

Notifications1) i’m not sure if it’s just my settings but how come freeletics doesn’t have any sort of notifications? I trained on my own and sometimes it helps to have a reminder of what i need to accomplish for the day. 2) I wish you have brought the Barbell exercise back. 3) Other than that, i love Freeletics. Thank you for keeping me fit..Version: 22.5.0

I was skeptical......but now I’m a believer! I’ve tried many apps, bought books, subscribed to magazines, but this right here is the real deal. I’m challenged, I’m changing, I’m hooked!!.Version: 4.23

Good overall but has a few vital flawsOverall, I love the app. The workouts are really fun and they make you look forward to them at the end of the day. They have a bunch of good programs and having a coach tailored to your needs is really helpful. Unfortunately, there are a few flaws that I think need fixing. 1) Not being able to save your workout if you quit halfway through. The other day I wasn’t feeling great in the middle of a conditioning circuit so I decided to stop, but to my dismay non of my progress was saved. Now if I want coach feedback for future weeks, I have to go back and start all over. Having an option to save your progress would be a great feature to implement for people who know their bodies well enough to know when to quit. 2) Not being able to customize the workouts. This is the biggest issue for me. You can give very vague customizations at the beginning of every workout by tapping on the coach icon, but their only very basic things like “I can’t run today” or “I only have 15 minutes”. There is no option to swap out a workout with something similar or reduce/increase repetitions. Having this option would make the “tailored for your needs” part of the app so much more effective..Version: 5.43.0

Get itBest fitness app on the market. I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to Freeletics.Version: 3.4.1

Easy to use, versatileSuper great app- just one suggestion. If you could have a voice telling you what the next exercise is that would be primo! I used to use Nike Training App but got bored and this is the next best thing but just that one little suggestion would make a world of difference :).Version: 6.23.1

Great app for keeping in shapeThis app has been a great coach for me for a good while now. I love it for bringing consistency to a previously hectic life of travel, and even now as I am more settled. The options and updates are always helpful and good. I don’t love the fact that there is a requirement to “check into a training venue” after many segments of the work out- I’m just trying to get my work done and I never change location mid-work out! It’s irritating to have an additional screen to go through, when this could just be automated setting to select or not..Version: 6.9.0

Excellent Training App!!!!FreeLetics is an excellent training app the exercises are varied and challenging and I look forward to each training week. I am still in the early stages of my training but I feel challenged and pushed on every training session. The workouts are enjoyable and easy to follow. The instructional videos for each exercise are also a great help if your unsure on how they should be executed. Great value for money for a 6 month subscription and coupled with a healthier diet this training programme has changed my life!!!! Buy It!!!!!!!!.Version: 4.19

Got me ripped in 1 monthI'm a Confidence and Empowerment Coach and I recommend this app to all my clients. The app has an amazing ai that can design your workouts based on your personalised feedback. 😁 Note for developer; with exercises alternating between right and left arms or legs, it's not clear sometimes if the required reps are for each side for total. In other words: 20 reps of climber; does that mean for each side or for both meaning 10 each. Oh and pls get a better celebratory applause. Some workouts make you feel like a Gladiator afterwards, that applause is a mood dampner afterwards 🙄.Version: 6.21.1

Excellent appI have been using this app for the past 3 years, still amazing. I miss the previous Apple Watch app, which was very good..Version: 23.16.0

Committed? This app is a great partner.Updated review: I’ve been using Freeletics for eight years. It helped me get started in fitness eight years ago after never working out consistently. Through different seasons of my life, I used other methods to workout, but I can always count on Freeletics if there was no gym. They always improve the platform and I enjoy using it as it continually helps me improve my own fitness. I now use it exclusively to workout. Old review: Freeletics is a great tool for anyone going towards health. It has helped me a lot in my journey towards health. If you are committed, it’s the best app out there. They do their work with excellence; from the videos to the workouts to always improving, Freeletics is a solid company. One of the coolest things is meeting people who are in it and do Freeletics too! Get this app!.Version: 22.21.0

My everyday friendI have been working out using freeletics app for a few years now and I can say for sure that it works GREAT!.Version: 23.28.0

Best app for your fitness!I love this app! It’s user interface is amazing and the coach monitoring is always evolving my workouts to keep me pushing. And the how to videos show you everything you need to know to keep proper form. The workouts don’t take forever to do, it doesn’t feel like a burden to do. I do mine every day immediately after work. I have never been so excited to work out, especially after a long day of work. I tried to do other workouts and always ended up unmotivated. Insanity gave me great results, but the workouts were too long and just made me feel miserable. Freeletics has everything you need to get in shape or to get into better shape. Worth every penny..Version: 4.34.1

Love it!!!I love it so far. Very flexible, so many workout options, I didn’t like a few workouts so changed my coach and love it now. Exercise options if too hard, you choose the days that you can workout, you choose if you have equipment or if you wanna do just a body weight workout. I bought the nutrition package as well but don’t really use it much, except some for meal ideas here and there. Yes, you have to pay but come on, it’s cheaper than a gym membership so stop complaining.Version: 5.14.0

So Amazingly Great For Toning Yourself!!This app is honestly the best!!! It motivates you, keeps you updated and honestly pushes you so hard. If you think it is easy, you have no idea!!.Version: 3.11

New release bugHi guys. I have my Apple Watch matched to your app now due to your new release but when I try to open the normal calories counter from the watch and use the Freeletics app at the same time the counter is automatically closed I don’t know why. The idea of this is that both apps can work at the same time. I couldn’t count my calories today so guess I need to uninstall your app from my Apple Watch?.Version: 6.23.1

Love the simplicity.Easy to use and satisfying to complete the work outs. Great for a working mum with very limited time, facility and gym access..Version: 5.23.0

Travel mateGreat app to get you motivated when you are on the road. Great variety of exercises requiring no equipment..Version: 5.13.0

Version: 24.5.0

Well worth the subscriptionThis is a great app and I’ve tried (and failed) them all. Don’t judge this app on the free version or reviewers who thought that Freeletics was going to deliver all for free. It’s a great app for people of all abilities looking to develop functional fitness with minimal equipment (or none if you wish!). It’s best feature is how it adjusts workouts based on your feedback..Version: 5.7.0

App update*EDIT - STOP MESSING WITH THE APP!! I couldn’t even access the workouts today, very frustrating!* I absolutely love Freeletics and it has completely changed my approach to fitness. However I’m not keen on the new app update at all. Workout screen is unresponsive when trying to move to the next exercise and the new progress bar at the bottom of the screen is far too small to see how you are doing vs LT/PB. At the very least, please make this bigger!.Version: 4.25

Seriously need a proper watch appGuys, your app is awesome! I have seen a. Transformation in my body and health! Seriously if anyone reads this, it’s worth the money! But we need a proper watch app, especially with offline support so that we can train outside without lugging our huge phone. Please…thank you.Version: 22.45.0

I love the structure of Freeletics!I subscribed for 3 months first and used my coaching sessions which helped me not only to get fit but more organised at work, at home, motivational emails and nutrition all worked until I stopped the subscription after 3 months, I thought I knew it all to carry on my own time by myself. I realised that I was alone and needed that coaching which pushes me and motivates me on daily basis so subscribed for a year when it was on offer and realised that app is improved very much since then (after 5 months), the best training session ever: it works and shows the results just after a month. Your happy, energised, mentally organised, confident, etc. Btw never wrote reviews on any app before so this says it all to me) 2022 review: I’ve been using freeletics on and off since 2015. I use other apps but always come back to this one. I love the lay out of exercises and explanation video of technique how to perform the exercise as well as smooth integration of warm up and cool down. Love the nutrition app too! Just perfect combination for me! Thank you and well done freeletics! Keep it up!.Version: 22.39.0

One thing I need!Sometimes I want to modify a workout. For example. I workout at the gym and I have a hard time doing pull-ups. So I use a machine that uses similar muscles instead. I want to be able to take note of the times that I have to do that. I don’t need to input my exact modification, just that I had to modify it. Also! I want to be able to override the intervals if needed. At one point I was doing the intervals and for some reason closed the app. Instead of leaving off where from where I was at it started it over. And I had to wait for it to fully finish the rest periods/etc... It would also be really cool if you could choose at the beginning of your journey where you prefer to work out. Like if you prefer the gym or working out at home. This way I could get a training plan revolving around the gym for example. On the nutrition app I wish I could leave a small note of what I ate instead of what the coach said. I don’t need specific details like calories/fat/etc... just a basic journal of my intake to help me remember. In fact, I like how the nutrition app doesn’t focus on getting a super specific log of your eating..Version: 6.01.0

User friendly and adaptableVery innovative app. I’ve been using it for 6 months now and it has been improving my physique. It was challenging at first but it became manageable. One suggestion to the developers: please give us the option to list down what we really cannot do. For example, I have a back issue and I cannot do jackknives unless I want a back pain. If I have to replace it every time I will feel bad for not achieving that standard..Version: 5.37.0

Great. Have an app feature request.Been a paying subscriber for four years. Love your content. I don’t use the coach features anymore because I got through the Freeletics Hardcore program and the challenge wasn’t overly difficult for me. Could there be a way to default to open the app on the workout screen? It’s only a small thing but it’s been bugging me for a while that I got to tap an extra time every time I open the app. If there was a way to make your own programs that would be amazing. Currently I plan them out on Sunday for the week commencing using my reminders app. Also, heart rate to show on the watch would be awesome. I’m sad that you took the experimental features off the watch..Version: 22.30.0

Great app, but..So this app is wonderful, but there's one issue I've came across so far, when you're watching a video of the exercise, after the video is done it takes you to a new screen, and the close button is way to high, to the point where you cannot click it. I'm giving it 5 stars because it deserves it, even though it has that minor flaw..Version: 4.23
