✓ Waste of timeIve played this game for almost a year now and it gets progressively worse. I’ve raised countless tickets with Ubisoft support team because at the current stage I can’t progress any further in the story mode because one bike upgrade is bugged AND apparently they can’t manually upgrade on their side either. But they did say why not start a fresh and unlock everything again!.Version: 7.6.0
✓ Interesting but some tracks require top spendGreat little game to begin with, but there are certain tracks you can’t pass unless you restart the track. Would not recommend for anyone with little patience as you will be throwing the device at the nearest wall. Already uninstalled the game once because of this, gave it a second chance but will uninstall again as I am annoyed by the constant restarting. ✓ Ridiculous addsI do like this game but the adds are getting more and more frequent. I see an add after every single track. The adds that you can swipe down to bypass still play in the background so you have this annoying noise when your trying to play the game. Also when I try to watch an advert for another spin on the rewards wheel, about 50% of the time it crashes and again I have to force close. ✓ Bugs and suggestionGreat game, it’s my current go to. However it starts to lag and eventually crashes if I navigate away from the game even for 10 seconds (to answer a text or a phone call) and I come back to the app (Iphone 8 with most recent software). It would also be nice if the input of random things on the prize wheel (outfit parts and level scrolls) didn’t replace things that the game has asked me to collect. As an example, I’m trying to collect a copper nut to upgrade the saloon and the nerd lady with the helmet sent me to ‘The Trebuchet’ which had a copper but listed as a potential prize on the wheel. I completed the level but the copper nut was replaced by a level scroll on the wheel. Which means I need to replay the level and use more gas to complete a mission that’s critical to the game. ✓ Going downhill, fast!I have been playing this game for well over 2 years now. Since January of this year, it feels like it has gotten buggy. The Midnight Circuit feature no longer launches (for which Support has no answer they will provide me), there are no new tracks being released, and subsequently, and the game will randomly pause at times when I accelerate. It feels like Ubisoft is tired of maintaining the game and is quietly trying to lay it to rest, despite the fact that a lot of life is left in the game. It is fun and well thought out, but lately I feel like the support is gone and the only reason it lingers on the App Store is for unsuspecting consumers to spend money on bikes..Version: 7.9.0
✓ Ads constantly freeze game upThis could be an amazing game. But it is absolutely suffocated by advertisements. Worse yet, there no in app purchase option that will remove the ads. No matter how much money you spend in the game (I have spent over $50!), you still have to see ads. That’s a horrible user experience! But perhaps worst of all, when you do sit through one of these horrible ads that distract you from the game, the app freezes up about half the time, and does not give you the reward you are supposed to get! Add to all of that the fact that they only give you enough gas to race on about 5-6 tracks, means they are forcing their customers to either pay even more money just to keep playing, or quit the app and wait hours for their gas tank to refill. Are you kidding me? They actually think it’s a good idea to force their customers to quit playing the game or pay more money? There are hundreds of other great games out there that don’t put their customers through this kind of inconvenience. If they fix these problems, I will come back and change my review, but until then, I’m done and moving on to other games that actually encourage their customers and don’t hold them hostage with suffocating ads..Version: 7.1.0
✓ Great gameplay.....horrible “free” gems system.I absolutely love this game when it comes to gameplay. However, this game has cheated me out of at least 1000 gems as I have completed numerous “get gems” actions and I never get the reward. It’s pretty obvious this is intended so you will get frustrated with it and just purchase the gems. Please fix this issue and provide the gems that I should have obtained. UPDATE: I do not appreciate the canned response of "Hello, We assure you we'll be working on the issue faced by you. Your support is highly appreciated. Thank you!" that doesn’t address my issue or anyone’s issue that received this as a response. OBVIOUSLY, you care nothing about customer service as you offered no solution to my problem. There is an intentional “bug” in the system to ensure that you will have to make a purchase during the gameplay instead of using the free (time consuming and sometimes tedious) offer methods to get through the game. ✓ Mobile Cliches Ruin Otherwise Good GameSomebody had some idea to add into the mix several mobile game cliches, and it just sours the experience. They’ve added in quests and rewards, and even fuel which is needed to actually play the game. None of it needs to be there and it sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s a pretty clear attempt to nickel and dime the player much later in the game. Besides those mobile game cliches, it’s a Trials game. The base game appears to be intact, though I haven’t seen a map creator yet. Honestly you’ll probably enjoy it up until the point you have to start paying to enjoy the game. ✓ Errors preventing ad views to countOverall the game is great, just want you would want out of a mobile trials game with in app purchases, but the entire experience is ruined because at least 50% of ads you’ll sit through won’t ever count towards the bonus. You’ll watch ad after ad for some extra coins or gems but sitting through them will be for nothing, as the game will never actually respond and reward you with the item, instead it will just force you to watch another ad that won’t lead anywhere anyway. Judging from other reviews I’m not the only one to experience this, and it reaches a level of frustration that just totally kills the experience. to speed up in game processes or get free gems/coins won’t ever count towards.Version: 6.0.0

The game crashes when you're watching the adverts, by doing so you get coins, fuel or gems. But every ride costs fuel, and the lowest amount of fuel used on a course is 5 fuel, and it takes 3 minutes to gain another fuel. So if you are bored, you play some tracks and then you have to wait 15 minutes to play another one!? This game is great apart from that, so if you maybe gain 1 fuel per minute, I wouldn't mind. ✓ In need of repairThis game was great and I was really enjoying the remake of the classic Trials game. This game gives the player abundant opportunities to earn free spins and free items by watching ads. I appreciate that rather than forcing players to spend money on premium currency. There is premium currency (diamonds) but there is a decent chance of getting a handful on every spin for free, and 2x chances if watching the ad after. Unlike other games, you can easily play without spending money if you choose. You just have to put up with the ads. I don’t mind them... However, when your “freemium” strategy is primarily based on watching ads and the ads start malfunctioning, then it ruins the game. That’s what happened after the recent updates. A lot of malfunctioning ads, a lot of frustration. Also after the latest update, I can only play the game for 5-10 minutes before it starts lagging and becomes unplayable. Would have gave it 5 stars but the dev needs to repair these serious issues. There’s 2 critical problems (on my iPhone SE anyway) that prevent me from giving 5 stars and will force me uninstall the game: When I go to watch an ad to get free fuel or gems, the ad won’t play and the screen in the game locks up, this is an intermittent problem but seems to be occurring more often - enough to irritate and make me not want to play. I could play everything including the bunker and all the other “extra” courses with the daily challenges. ✓ Ad driven, and they don’t reward you...This is definitely a good game. Graphics, controls are good. Large number of well done tracks. Good number of bikes that you need to upgrade. The game crashes a bit less regularly than in the previous version but it still does, which means you lose the fuel used, and you sometimes have to redo the race to get the achievement. There is a reward based ad scheme, which is a good thing. Meaning you don’t have to watch too many ads if you don’t want to, but also mean you have no chance of progression without watching hundreds of ads. The ads themselves are about 30s, and up to 1min (30s video + 30s playable demo) which is way too long. The extremely annoying thing is that about 70% of the ads do not give you the expected reward!!! Players pay for the game by watching ads so you really feel cheated when you don’t get the reward! The Showdown games is a good source of coins, but it’s way too insufficient for what you need to upgrade the bikes. Paying for coins is very expensive, and would cost you about £400-£500, so laughable really. And anything below £80 will not get you anywhere. So I’d say it’s worth playing for a few weeks but no more. It’s too bad because it’s a good game!.Version: 7.1.0
✓ This was a five star game, now unmaintained and unsupportedThis is the best game I’ve ever played on a phone and maybe the best bike related game I’ve ever played too. Unfortunately, it’s not been updated for years, and it seems that Ubisoft is not interested in keeping it alive. First, they shut down midnight circuit. Now the pvp part of the game (the bunker) is also broken. I opened a support case with Ubisoft last month and they acknowledged the issue and thanked me for the details I provided. They said they are looking into it but stated that they also couldn’t provide updates and closed the case. It’s still broken. You used to be able to get bike blueprints through purchase, but now they are only available through events. The bunker was the last event in the game that worked and after years of collecting blueprints to unlock more bikes, I won’t be able to unlock any because I can’t get the last blueprint pieces I need. If you’re keen on playing for free, story mode still works. Just realize any time or money you spend on this game will probably disappear. It’s only a matter of time before this game stops working altogether and without the bunker it’s a lot less fun..Version: 7.9.0

✓ Gameplay?Yet another game where you spend your time tapping the screen to clear messages after message telling you about some vague storyline or how to collect more points or how you can upgrade by collecting more points or how you can get more levels by collecting more points. ✓ Match making concernI have 2 issues, the came first off matched you with people that are way higher ranking then you on the season so it’s about impossible to reach level 1, I have tried over and over again it is aggravating. Second off, it takes way to long to get upgrades. Every time to upgrade a part on your bike it literally takes 24 hours, like that’s insane. ✓ Fun could have better rating with fixes!So this game is fun great time killer and it kinda drags you in with completing missions to get your next parts so you can upgrade your bike. ✓ Very playable game, yet very buggy..Great idea and very player friendly, game it's self start to lag after playing for 5-10 mins. If it was a movie streaming I would compare to the stop start caused by buffering.. ✓ I’m done!!!So, been playing this game a few years now. I’ve seen tons of reviews about ads, glitches, crashes, bugs, etc. etc.... these folks aren’t lying. Over 75% of the time my gas doesn’t work, lean buttons don’t work, tons of ads. ✓ Has the potential to be amazing.Game is neglected by developers. The midnight circuit doesn't even work and for those it does work for all are ranked as #1 on the leaderboard. We have a community of 3000 religious players on Facebook all discussing our thoughts and posting records/challenges etc. Not one of the developers has responded to my messages on Instagram despite only having a small amount of followers on the RedLynx account in charge of the game. The game is to an extent pay2play but if you're a good player you're able to get great times with half upgraded bikes. The situation with the new bikes, they literally take 2 years or so to unlock which is completely and utterly ridiculous seeing as the console version of the game has everyone's bikes upgraded to the same level. Been playing since 2014 but I think I'm going to quit soon as I still haven't unlocked the legendary bikes. Such wasted potential as it's great game in terms of physics and enjoyability. ✓ Live it, growing to hate it.Lost countless dollars and Ubisoft does NOTHING about it. Worst customer support and borderline fraud since they never make amends for blatant issues. ✓ Greedy micro transactionsThe solid mechanics of the game are spoiled by the overly greedy in game purchases that are almost essential to game progression. I would have happily paid $10 for this game up front but won't be paying out hundreds to continue playing. Perhaps dual versions could be considered in future, a paid full version and a free micro transactions version. Recent changes to the game mean that it tries to connect to a server almost constantly, before races, after races, sometimes during races and you have to wait for it to connect. ✓ Classic gameplay, but bad experienceAt its core this is a great Trials game for mobile. However - progression in the game is often dictated by collecting parts at the end of a run. This is a roulette wheel where you could easily not get the part you need for an entire gas tank (how they limit how much you can play before paying). I’m currently stuck trying to upgrade the saloon so I need level 3 bolts. The highest bolt I can get is level 2. Need 3 of those to fuse a level 3 bolt. You get the idea. Its been days and I havent been able to progress. Same level over and over again. Its awful but I do love the gameplay. Also - get ready for tons of ads. ✓ Weeks of playing down the drain.Your game oh so swears i need to sign in to play, well finally after a month of playing maybe a little under that i finally cracked and signed in. Worst mistake ever DONT DO IT!! I created a god forsaken ubisoft account and soon after it signed me in and the game crash and now i have mo saved data and i even tried to sign out to see if it was because of the ubisoft account, but nope. My saved data was wiped. Sad to see ubisoft take a dump on the trials series. Safe to say you have lost a fan. ✓ Good gameplay, broken interfaceThe gameplay itself is good, one of the better games of this type. The problem is in the interface. 1) you need fuel to race, which is fine, fuel replenished over time as is common, the problem is, if you click "start race" and then back out, the game considers your fuel used, even if you didn't race. 2) this one is a major bug, there are many opportunities in the game to view an optional ad, for example to get an extra spin of the wheel, to earn free gems, to earn free fuel, to speed up bike upgrades. This is all well and good except 9/10 times, the adwatch does NOT register. You can tell when the ad won't count if it is an ad that takes you to the "App Store" overlay screen. Half the time it freezes up the app and you need to completely exit the app and relaunch. (Fortunately it doesn't lose your progress when you do this!) developers, fix this! If the ad simply ends after the allotted time with an "x" in the top right, it will count as a view and you get your bonus..Version: 5.6.0

I love these kinds of games and all I wanted was a high quality physics bike game. For me, it would be so much better if they stripped it down to worlds/levels. Start on world one, level one (1-1), beat that world and then move onto the next. Between levels I have to tap through so much fodder that just isn’t needed. I’m also not the biggest fan of the art or aesthetic of the game on top of everything else. ✓ Perspective From a Beta TesterThis is probably the most disappointing game I’ve ever played. I remember playing the beta and being so annoyed that Redlynx allowed to change the formula for a fundamental part of the game by having upgradeable bikes. ✓ Good game but needs iPhone X support!I’ve been playing this game since it came out and have been fairly successful with it. Over time, the number of pop-ups and advertising has increased by several times. Every time you go into the map, you have to x-out at least one pop-up trying to sell you something for the game. Additionally, you have to click through multiple notifications every week directing you to check out their Twitter page or whatever. The game itself is great, but the rest of these issues get frustrating. My biggest wish right now is for iPhone X support. The phone has been out for months now and this app is one of the very few (out of 100+ on my phone) that has not been optimized to fit the iPhone X screen. But the 2018 Halloween event was just HORRIBLE. The worst event I have seen in ANY game that I have played. 5 daily tracks to find a pumpkin in 24 hours that is only on one track would be bad enough, but then even when you find one, I could not get to it. Especially this one pumpkin under a bridge that my bike was two inches from. A complete exercise in frustration and not fun at all. Aren’t games supposed to be fun? ✓ Good game butI like the game. It’s everything you love about trials in your pocket, however I have some issues/ suggestions. 1. I wish there was a subscription or one time purchase to have unlimited fuel. 2.the wheel spin rewards is pretty stupid in my opinion. And it just adds to issue one. You complete a race but didn’t earn the quest item from the wheel so you have to spend more fuel to hopefully get it the second time. 3. Certain ads you can watch to skip a hour on bike upgrades automatically open the App Store and cancel the hour skip. UbiSoft says that it’ll be fixed with a software/app update, but after 2-3 months of waiting, I’ve given up. Considering that UbiSoft can’t fix a fundamental issue in the game, I can’t recommend that anyone makes an in-app purchase. Anyone making an in-app purchase, be weary of this bug. ✓ Rampant Ads and Micro TransactionsThe game it’s self is actually very fun, simple to play but a challenge to master. It’s a shame that the great gameplay is crippled by the greed of advertisement revenue and disgustingly steep micro transactions. This is a game I would absolutely pay a one off fee for (£10-£15)just like the Trails games on console/pc. And even if you do pay for some gems or coins (which only slightly speed up your progress) you’re still met with 30 second ads after almost every level. Bare in mind that each level takes around 30 seconds to finish. Therefor you spend 50% your time playing the game and the other 50% having to sit through adverts. The micro trans are utterly ridiculous too. One rider costume/outfit costs 3,000 gems which in cash costs about £40! ($50). Just for a a single cosmetic! You can clearly see that the PVP is pay to win too as it largely depends on the upgrades of your bike which by level 14 start costing a stupid amount of coins and time unless your empty your bank into it. ✓ Takes way too long to enjoy this gameThis game is good but it takes way too long to play. What do I mean by this, well 60% of bikes take years to get without special events. Such as the KTM 500 EXC you can’t buy blueprints pieces, as well as the Bandito, KTM 450 RALLY, Harley DavidsonXG750R, HD EV, Agent bike, Stallion and the BMW 600 Gs. Can you please not respond with a link to something about trials frontier on how to “fix” this. But please respond to me about holding monthly events for a bike (KTM 500 EXC etc) so people can not have to wait months, if not years for a single bike. ✓ In-app purchases kill the funUpdate# I deleted this game once they introduced new bikes that were more powerful than the stock bikes (like the KTM and recently the BMW) and allowed them to compete on the same leaderboard...which essentially nullifies all the hard work and precision you put into certain maps. At one point I was one of the top 300 players in the world (iOS), and even held a short lived world record on an established map. It was very disappointing to see an already extremely hard grind-fest, pay to win, type of game to further destroy their community and leaderboards. I’m probably not going to return to this game. Aside from that...it’s a good physics game...once you are able to level up your bikes. Original review: Would be great, if it weren't plagued with In-app purchases. Pay to win model is a huge turn off. I would gladly purchase the game outright ($5-10)', but do not want countless in-app purchases to progress. I love the previous console trials games (HD, Evolution, Fusion), and play this more than any other app but the in-app purchases kill it (as well as a few other bugs....like audio, and upgrade/fuel wait time)..Version: 5.8.4
✓ GreatThis is a brilliant game however it has its flaws. For example with the current Halloween event I find myself unable to collect pumpkins and finish the level at times since I’m still new to the game. This has reduced my enjoyment of this game. Is there anyway you could make it so that yes the event levels are randomised like they are at the moment but so that they are randomised out of the levels a person has unlocked..Version: 6.4.0
✓ 3/5Pretty good game overall. Nice, smooth graphics and gameplay. My only issue is the fuel recharge and the difficulty spike. It makes playing this kind of boring after a while. I don't like being expected to wait so long to get fuel just so I can complete races over and over to earn money to upgrade my bike and then wait 2 days for my bike to upgrade so I can FINALLY defeat an opponent. ✓ Frustrating gameThe game is good and fair until you reach lvl 14. After that it becomes super frustrating to the point where you either need to spend real money to progress further or grind this game like its your job to continue upgrading your bike. What’s also fun is that Ubisoft has it made so when you choose to watch a commercial to get some sort of credit in game, the game often crash after the AD has ended. Leaving you with no reward for watching the Ad. This game is really, really frustrating how it gets you invested at the beginning and then reveals just how pay to win it really is. Top1 betrayal of all time. Skip this game and i hope Ubisoft will get what’s coming to it just like EA. ✓ If you want a trials game DONT botherAll I want is to play levels on the bike. But no. There’s a forced story injected in between each level that wastes your time if you want to play for trials gameplay. You don’t have to be inpatient to realise that the story is more of an annoyance than anything meaningful. Constant characters being introduced I found myself just tapping and skipping through all dialogue but still it felt like eternity between each level. Had to delete unfortunately as I love the gameplay but only when it comes around which seems rare.Version: 7.9.0
✓ Glitching losing resourcesOn my iPhone 11 Pro game is entertaining and enjoyable until your trying to beat a challenge and the game freezes or just shuts off. Costing the resource to compete in the challenge. Wait time for bike upgrades are extremely long and expensive at higher levels. Talking about days for a part. Heavy pay to win type game. Other than that. It’s a great to play for the ten fifteen min until you run out of fuel. Would love to be able to play longer without putting it down..Version: 7.9.0
✓ Has potential to be great, but isn’tThis is an addicting game, no arguing that, but it does get a bit boring and repetitive after a while. I get it, Ubisoft want to make as much money as possible – so as with many other developers they’ve adopted a free-to-play concept for Trials Frontier. But to me it feels like they’ve rigged the game to favor the paying users a bit too much. Apparently the income from ads does not satisfy them. So after a while it is not fun to play if you do not pay. And there are still numerous bugs that significantly affect the gameplay, which might further discourage someone to pay if they were considering it. All-in-all, without the bugs i could’ve given the app a couple more stars but as it is I stand at 1/5 stars..Version: 5.8.4
✓ Great game destroyed by forceful adsWhile this game has intuitive and exciting design and creative art direction, it is ruined by pop-up ads like some cheap after-market knock off. It's a shame that this great game has succumbed to the pitfall of corporate greed. We can ignore the blatant partnerships with motorcycle companies and pushing other Ubisoft games as acceptable. What really ruins this game is the forceful ads that pop up after completing a race. I might even be able to stand it if I could pay 0.99$ to get an ad free version, but there is no such option. In fact half the time an ad pops up it crashes the app. Please fix this, it feels greedy and ruins what is otherwise great game design..Version: 7.0.0
✓ Why........So I get the game I play it it’s really fun then I decide to create an Ubisoft account I login then boom my account restarts and I don’t want to restart the game because I’ve already restarted twice before and I had just got the mantis and I’m not sure wether to delete this app and I’m only going to play it again if I can get my progress back..Version: 5.9.0
✓ I feel bad for the developersThey did a great job making an engaging fun challenging game with tight controls and rewarding mechanics. Only to have management force as many ads into the experience as absolutely possible. They are inescapable. I paid money for a pack and still constantly begging for you to buy more packs, check out all these deals, or placing an ad after almost every single course you race. I open this game once every few weeks because I remember it’s fun, and immediately close it after a few minutes because of the inescapable ads. ✓ Beautiful but flawedYes, the graphics are stunning, the detail is intricate and the storyline is somewhat endearing, but there are two major flaws that caused me to delete the game after a couple of hours of play: the notion of a trials motorbike in the old Wild West is such a force-fit that it jars against the storyline at every stage. But the biggest let down is the game mechanics - it’s just too clunky and, frankly, comical. Compared to, say, the silky smooth natural action of Gravity Rider, the action feels horribly close-up and gives no real sense of satisfaction after you finally master a tricky jump..Version: 7.9.0
✓ The gameplay is fantastic, but the bugs are horribleI’ve been playing this for over 2 years now, and I’m just tired of release after release coming out with the same old bugs. It can never stay connected to the Ubisoft servers, and to get it to reconnect you have to force quit and restart the game, which is end up doing probably 12 times a day, and then the reward system is completely broken where watching adds to get a reward works maybe 1 in 5 times. I literally just watch 8 adds in a row, and not a single one of them actually gave me the reward that it was supposed to. These issues have been going on for so long it’s absolutely laughable. It’s clear they don’t really care about fixing them, but I guess my only recourse is this one star review. It would be a 5 Star game if they would just bother to fix these two bugs..Version: 5.7.1
