✓ Keeps losing my progress.I enjoyed this game in the beginning, but after moving on to other levels it takes too many points to earn a star. You could buy more energy to earn more points, but I'd rather save my money. It takes forever for your energy to refill. It also takes to long for the "analysts" to analyze their data. And if I come back after the couples of hours it takes are over, it asks me to have it analyzed again. This usually takes me 3 times until it decides it is done. The last two times I played, after I had earned a star and unlocked more information, the game pretended that I hadn't done any of that and made me do it again. Sorry but I'm sick of waiting around for everything with this game and having to redo things I've already done..Version: 1.3.5
✓ Fun game, however...This is a fun game to play when you have 10-15 minutes between daily activities. However, of the five hidden object apps I currently play (Agent Alice, Criminal Case, Crime Scene Mystery, Hidden Artifacts, and this game), it is my second to least favorite. I didn't realize there was no way to earn additional gems without purchasing them, so I inadvertently used all my gems in the first couple of levels. Also, 30 energy points to play a scene is the most of any of the hidden object games I play. Also the amount of points required to earn a star are the highest. There are a couple of glitches too where I will have to reinterview a suspect (at least I get my star back and don't have to earn an additional star) or the clock will reset while examining a piece of evidence. But other than that, the storyline is interesting and the scenes are a good difficulty level. Also I like how there is a timer on the hints so you can use more than one per turn if needed without having to buy extra hints..Version: 1.3.5

One star cause I had to as after stealing my money you’re lucky you even got that pull your finger out and update your app! ✓ I like it buuuut...I very much enjoy the game but the amount of points to get a star in each scene is becoming ridiculous... When I see that I need 7 million points for the star, I usually get bored easily and come back a few days later... Because with the energy that we have we can only play a scene for 5 or 6 time every few hours... This makes the game slow and I'm starting to get frustrated... I have advanced in other games way quickly that this one... Maybe you are pushing us to buy gems.. Well, sorry I'm not a using money on games kind of person.. ✓ FunI really enjoy this game for the most part. Good stories, nice art etc. However, it is incredibly frustrating to lose my most recent data after exiting the game. For example, I will use my 160 energy, get a star and will talk to a suspect or have started an analysis in the lab overnight which takes 12 hours etc. When I next return to the game though I find that the most recent thing I did has been completely or partially undone. Eg the option to analyse in the lab is still there but that 12 hour analysis hasn't started and I need to redo it, or the suspect is waiting to be questioned but my talking to them and using star has been undone. This doesn't happen every time I exit the game but it has happened enough times now that it is frustrating makes me want to stop playing. Please fix this problem, otherwise it's a 4-5 star game..Version: 1.3.5
✓ Could be the best game everThis is potentially the best hidden object game out there, but you can only ever play for 5/10 minutes and your energy runs out, it needs to either refill quicker or use less energy per scene, also stars on previous levels should either carry forward or be able to be traded for energy, but apart from this the game has great concept.Version: 1.3.5

✓ I enjoy this game, but...It is very annoying to start evidence for analysis, only to come back later and have to start it over again! And yes, I know for a fact I am starting it because I am watching the timer count down before I close the app. So, an analysis that should take four hours takes much longer because the game resets it! I have also lost new evidence because I found it with my last 30 power units and then closed the game (obviously because I couldn't play anymore until the power recharged). ✓ I like, but....I didn't know about the gems until I'd used too many for the rest to matter. I don't like the fact that I've got to buy more, that they're unlike the energy which can reload on their own. Gaining stars was weird too, as I don't know how you choose how many points til the next star is needed...guess there's not much I can do about that...and why does it take so long to review items? I thought you wanted people to continue playing; if I don't have gems to speed it along and have to come back 2+ hours later, even though I receive notifications, it does not mean I'm coming back to play for 5 more minutes before I have to wait another hour for energy to load or two hours to review and item. Work on those things (and not having a 'rate me' box pop up every time I open it) and you could get 5 stars from me. There's also too many glitches. ✓ Love the game BUTIt takes wayyy too long to play a scene- it will take DAYS for you to complete one scene because you run out of energy after playing for 5 minutes or less and the higher stars take millions of points to reach. You could spend $50 easily every other day on playing this game due to the frustration and annoyance of it- but who does that?!? Lastly, the stars don't carry over to other cases which is ridiculous. ✓ Crashes A LOT!!Now don't get me wrong, I like this game. I like the fact that due to huge energy consumption I only really at once every four to five days. This keeps it fresh and stops it getting too addictive! However, I get up to 5 crashes every time I play (for about 25 mins and iOS6). Now since I don't play every day it's juuuust about worth it. But I don't like it when it crashes just as I start a level an I lose 30 energy because let's be real, energy in this game is like water after a marathon. Its gone in two seconds. ✓ Good game overallI very much enjoy this game, I find the cases very interesting and the hidden objects are fun. however, I only gave it 3 stars because of a few things. first, I wish you got to play a bigger role in solving the cases. basically you only play the scenes, talk to people, and wait for analyses and then eventually your character figures it out. maybe something where we can make our own guesses about the case? also, I sometimes experience a glitch where my progress is erased. for example, I waited a few hours for Lindsay to research something. I got the notification that she finished but when I opened the app. it said that I hadn't started the task and i now have to wait again. last, the gems. they are so hard to get!!! maybe they could regenerate like the energy does? otherwise, really fun and interesting game..Version: 1.3.5

I don't like the quick challenges as much and that's all that seems to come up lately. ✓ Detective, huh?Honestly, I've watched my fair share of detective shows, and this is nothing like that. Sure, you can go to crime scenes and such, but who wants to look for things you don't really need? We should be dusting for fingerprints and doing blood samples, not waiting for 'Detective David' to do all the forensics for me. What if I like doing the forensics? And to add, what is the deal with the stars and lightning bolts and gems? What are they meant for other than to make you really annoyed that you can't investigate a crime scene without getting stars or gems from another crime scene that your not allowed to go back to? It's confusing and annoying, and you really don't get the true detective. Who puts someone under arrest for murder without a confession? To top it all off, this is not a true detective game. It might have four and a half stars, but I really don't like it. I'm sorry I have to be this way, but forensics is kind of my thing. I know what real detectives do, and this is not it. This was a disappointment. You might have a blast at it, but I personally (and yes I'll be honest) do not have the patience to wait for my forensics report to come back. Another reviewer made the point that having to wait for energy to re-charge makes her have to quit playing for enough time to do other things--that is a very good point since it can help those of us addicted to playing phone games to pace ourselves! Cons: no effort was made to develop the stories to help solve the crime once you get to episode 8 or 9. You grind away to finally get a star to reveal the next step and it's something stupid like: "look at the coded message". So you look at the coded message, but can't understand it. For the next star: "decipher the coded message" –and guess what? You still can't understand it! 80% of the supposed clues, and fact gathering are completely pointless. you get very little game play before energy runs out and as the episodes proceed, it takes forever to get the stars required to keep the story moving forward. Energy renews very slowly. It becomes a frustrating drag. If you like this kind of episodic crime solving, try Agent Alice (by Wooga) instead. It's much more enjoyable! Energy is renewed twice as fast and you get twice as many plays before energy runs out, so you feel like you're progressing. (The energy cap is also increased after X number of days if you come back to the game daily). They also put out Pearl's Peril, which has the same game mechanics but is more of an ongoing story..Version: 1.3.5

Sometimes when you activate the timer to analyze a clue and come back for the result you find that it has reset on you and you're back to square one. When this costs you a star it's very annoying. What is the point to earning badges? They cannot be redeemed for anything and nothing can be achieved by getting them. Once a scene is mastered, it still costs 30 energy to play. No incentive to getting all the stars! Scenes are often poorly lit and lack clarity making it difficult to see. Once you get to the 5 star stage, it requires way too many points to complete the star. ✓ Where is case 17I've been waiting for approximately 2 years now for you to release case 17 - are you ever going too? If not I'll delete the game as I've played and received every star and I'm also on the top of the leader board in each scene. I don't have enough storage to leave a game that you will never write another scene for. Please let me know....it's important!!!!! I really love this game. Love finding hidden objects as well as working out who is the murderer. The only thing is you only get 5 goes each time. Perhaps 30 energy is too high or if you need to keep it at 30 perhaps make the energy fill quicker as it takes a long time to refill. Other games like this I play have a 24 hour period where they half the amount of energy needed each time so you get a lot more goes. Other than that I'm totally hooked. I'm wrote the first review quite some time ago. Since then I have played all 16 scenes and went back and earned every star and made sure I was at number 1 on the score table in each scene, in each scene. ✓ Not worth itI loved this game when it first started. The "hidden object" scenes are vivid and easier to spot and decipher than most. The boosts were easy to achieve on Levels 1-2 in Level 3 the boosts go from being almost free to costing a lot of gems so you don't use them then the scenes where before you had to score up to 2 million until you get a star now go up to 10 million taking forever to get a Star....unless of course you buy energy or gems for boosts. I really enjoyed this app and while I know the makers of the game want to make money I'm really disappointed that I can no longer enjoy the game. ✓ Yes But NoI like this game. The cases are interesting and the searches are challenging; however, it takes forever to get through one case. The levels are 30 energies each and at the most, I get to play like 6 times before I'm out of energy. Each stage is made of like 5 or 6 stars and once you get higher up in the stages, it takes like 12,000 points to get a star. And it's difficult to get more than 900 points each time you play a challenge. It takes me like a month to get through one case and I play all the time. I wish it only took 20 energies per challenge attempt and higher stars only took maybe 6 times to achieve a star. This game takes forever to progress through. And word to the wise- complete all the stars in each stage because later in, you don't even have access to certain stages unless you have gotten so many of the shield looking thus that you get when you complete all of the stars per stage..Version: 1.3.5

The problem is the amount of time it takes to regenerate energy, especially considering how many plays it takes to achieve a star. I've bought gems a few times but it simply isn't worth the overall conversion value. Say I go with the $20 gem package, get about 22 plays (if it doesn't crash mid-play!!) but it takes 6-8 plays to achieve a single star --even more for the next star in the SAME scene, let alone next case, as the needed points increase astronomically (seriously!?) -- then I just paid $20 to maybe "talk" to ONE suspect and unscramble a letter. I have no problem purchasing gems, however, it is currently not worth the price tag. PLUS, STARS DO NOT CARRY OVER NEXT LEVEL. Forget it. Also, can we get a LEGIT leader board, please..Version: 1.3.5
✓ Pace hampered by throttling without in-app purchasesWhile technically free to play, the pace of the game is artificially throttled unless you buy resources in game to proceed to each step. It can take days to finish one episode, and the later scenarios require more and more investment. Because of the stretched gameplay, it's easy to forget the plot and remember what the point was. After playing the same hidden-object scenes numerous times in order to just advance to the next step, gameplay lasts maybe two minutes per session, then you wait 6-8 hours before you recuperate enough "energy" to play another two minutes. I was playing the international game (about a soccer player who gets killed) but during the " down time/re-gaining energy" the site went back to an old game (#2). No matter what I tried to do I can't get back to the international game that I was soooooo close to solving. ✓ Good, BUT could be better …I like the games and the searches,to get all of the stars there is in increasing score for each, which is fine, however the amount that it increases by, and to, is a bit out there. For example one one of the last scenes that I was playing to get the last star I needed over 17 MILLION points. Now consider that I can only play five scenes at a time until my energy runs out and even if I can get over a million points per play (good luck) it will still take me about 4 days to finish. Also,there could be an incentive for getting all stars. As it is if I have to go back to a previous scene for new clues, where I have earned all the stars, I still have to spend the maximum amount of energy. ✓ It's okay says ~337~I downloaded this game about a month ago. I used up all my gems in the first 15 minutes of the game, then found out you had to purchase to get more. I finally created a FB page, just so I could get my 50 free gems, and here it is a week later, and nothing. It's even confirmed on my new FB page that I am playing this silly game, and I still have 4 lousy gems. I just figured out two weeks ago that these challenges pop up every 1 week, and you have to spend 10 energy points to play. You use the coins to buy a dog to sniff the scene when you are finished. I have yet to purchase a dog because I still don't have enough coins to buy the cheapest dog 2800 coins. Every scene you play takes 30 energy points which is very high. Your 1 energy bar regenerates every two minutes. I would recommend this game if you don't mind playing for about 10-15 minutes and then waiting for 5 hours for your energy to regenerate. If you are looking for a faster response and more game time, keep searching for some other mystery game..Version: 1.3.5

✓ Good but GlitchyThe game is quite entertaining but I have quite a few technical issues on a regular basis. For example, I often exit the game and return after a while only to find that evidence that should have taken 1hour to process still isn't processed after 4 hours or also. Also when I upgraded iPhones the game completely restarted so I had to do all of my cases all over again. Also I updated the operating system on my phone after that time and the game completely restarted again as if none of my progress was saved. The only ways to get any energy is by waiting 2 minutes for 1 bolt of energy, or by buying gems. Gems cost too much for the few that you're given. Also, it takes too much energy to play each round. You need 30 bolts of energy just to play a round, for which you'll need to play that same round at least 10+ times in order to get a star. You need stars to speak to a witness/suspect/investigate/etc. With all of that, plus several things that I didn't mention, it takes days just to solve one case. ✓ Pretty GoodIf I'd written this review months ago it would get 5 stars. I've been playing this game for over a year and my last three mysteries I've noticed that I will use my star to talk to someone or to get a clue analyzed and the next time I log on I'm reverted back to the where I was before I talked to them or got the clue looked at. I don't get my star back. VERY FRUSTRATING. My last mystery I counted how many time it did it to me and I ended up losing count. I bet this happens to people who aren't as observant and they don't even notice. I stopped playing the game almost a month ago but didn't delete it. If I see an update come through I'll go back to playing it. If you don't mind using your time and spending your stars without progress sometimes then this is a game for you. ✓ Hidden objects mystery crime sceneEnjoy the game BUT takes FOREVER to analyse some evidence. Currently, blood analysis said 48 hours or something. That's a long time. Went back in several times, but instead of finishing the analysis its now gone up to 95+ hours. This bug happens quite often, so at times I choose not to play it for several months as it is so frustrating!!!!! Wish they'd fix it..Version: 1.3.5

✓ I like it but it's sloooowI like the game but it's so frustrating how low the scores are sometimes. Collecting all the items in the 1 minute games should score you huge bonuses but it doesn't. Unless you're buying more energy and gens is a slow game!.Version: 1.2.7
