There are some ads that you can close quickly and resume playing but there are also quite a few that you can’t X out of and I end up touching my screen all over trying to get it to close long after it has ended. ✓ Cupcake maniaCupcake Mania doesn’t care about the people who play it!!! I tried to ask them why is it that when we reach the 500 level we get ads after every single game whether you win or lose. The ads are way to long and we can’t opt out of the ads after 5 seconds like other games do. The response I got was “they don’t help with playing the game or give out hints”. That was such a stupid answer they gave me because I didn’t ask them that. I am deleting the game (I have played this game for over 2 years, it use to be my favourite game until know). ✓ Unpassable level😡I loved this game until I got to level 702. You have to collect 6 squirrels to pass this level. I have played the level more than 30 times and it has never populated more than four squirrels. I can’t collect what isn’t there. Multiple times I have collected everything else required and just wait for the squirrels to show up but they never do. ✓ Great game gone wobbly!I love this game but it’s VERY annoying that I’m continually reinstalling it as the bottom part of the board keeps being cut off so I can’t see all the board at once. You used to only have to watch them if you wanted free gems, but now you have to watch them just to play the game. Seriously considering deleting this game. ✓ UnreliableThe game is a fun game to play. Has a lot of challenging levels and then ones to just fly through as well. It does however have a problem with its connection. I cannot go one day of playing without only have played five moves and then the app closes on me and I lost a life. Or I am playing a level and my screen downsizes to a half screen and will not let me make the full screen show. So then I have to close the app and force myself to lose a life again. But (and its a big one) the value proposition requires you to install and play additional games. While this is not uncommon, the linking of gambling games (hard core slot machine games) with a child's game is particularly disturbing. You can progress without doing this, but the "bonus" prizes are primarily linked this way (up to level 74 at least). Come on Team Lava. You can do better than that. ✓ Level 2605I’ve playing this game a long time and have loved it. But this level is impossible to win. You get 11 moves and it opens up with every cupcake a bomb flagged with 18 moves. You don’t get 18 moves so that doesn’t make sense. The goal is 40 red and 30 each of the blue yellow and pink. Since they are all bombs you don’t get any credit for clearing them. There are some “white” ones that change color and can give you points toward your goal but there aren’t enough to collect the 130 cupcakes. And since they are all bombs you can’t collect any gems toward earning special helps. So I’m stuck on this level and don’t foresee ever advancing farther. So it’s too frustrating and not any fun anymore. Otherwise I would rate it a 5..Version: 1.6.4
✓ Not a fanI had to get this game, to get rid of the big ugly sign which was ruining the look of my restaurant in restaurant story, the game I am actually playing. What annoys me is if I actually wanted to play this game then I would download it, it should not be part of the restaurant mania game. Plus I hate Bruno the bear, I passed his stupid level and now I seem to be stuck playing it again I was nearly ready the other day to hurl my iPad across the room due to this smug little bear. ✓ Annoying and interrupting advertisingI have enjoyed this game for some time now but recently I have noticed some annoying changes. Firstly the promotion of other games in the app has been interfering with me playing the game. On numerous occasions I haven't been able to click levels as there has been promotional advertising in the way. Then today I went to log on and a game ad popped up which it normally does however this time there was no exit option to the ad. The only option was 'download now' or visit the App Store. It annoys me so much that companies are forcing this on their users. The constant advertising is frustrating and trying to force your users into downloading other games is so disgusting. ✓ It's fun....BUT!Game is fun. However I had to purchase a new iPad. When I did this transferred over BUT it's a different version. I started back at level 1, I was on level 396. When I reached level 73 it won't let me go on, stated I didn't get enough stars! What crap. Who can get 3 stars on every level. I'm updating this as of July 2017. As others stated they are only getting half the screen on the iPad. I have the same issue. I contacted support and they state they aren't offering support and to check the forum to see if others had the same problem. What a bunch of BS. I'm dumping this game it's outrageous..Version: 1.5.7

✓ Addictive but frustratingReally enjoyable game, even if some levels feel almost impossible to pass. Great challenge. The big downside is how easy it is to accidentally spend 44 gems by hitting ‘continue’ after running out of moves. You can hit continue before you even see the button. It takes forever to earn even a small amount of gems so it’s frustrating using them up when you don’t intend to. It feels like you have been cheated. Please add a confirmation step for gem use to stop this problem. Also please stop the game using up a +5 booster when you do accidentally use gems to get extra moves. If you use gems (albeit unintentionally) to get extra moves, your boosters should remain unchanged. This game just keeps screwing you over..Version: 1.6.4

✓ Good game but...It's very stingy! It's really difficult to earn 3-stars, even on the easier levels. I think there should be more power move options, like a new power move when you match 4 in a square. And give us more fun ways to earn gems instead of spending so much time watching ads that don't load half the time..Version: 1.5.7
