✓ Dissapointing pricesThis game is really good and addicting yet it is so hard to get gems and some items, pets and even just to cross breed is ridiculously expensive. I'm not going to spend any money purchasing gems and there's not even an option to receive free gems. It is very rare to receive gems in the game and to Cross breed is expensive and requires gems or to buy another bed is ridiculously expensive where am I supposed to get the gems from without spending real money. I've read other reviews and many people seem to be getting annoyed with this problem. I suggest you lower in game prices or you will loose many players as supporters. ✓ Please make changesI started off loving the game! The missions to earn money and gems was great but now there are no missions. I guess bc I got to a certain level I'm not sure but I miss the missions. I have completed every collection except for 2. I cant complete them because the border collie cost 149 gems come on that's freaking ridiculous. And I can't complete the other collection bc I don't have the border collie to get the frog and use the frog to breed the Bill frog... also around 139 gems to add another breeder seriously. The game depends to much on gems and there is no way to earn gems. Some in app purchases are fine but this is suppose to be a free game to enjoy. You can't enjoy it if you can't purchase pets bc you can't buy gems bc they are way to expensive and you can't earn them for free. ✓ NEEDS a gems updateI’m only giving this three stars because of this huge issue: Gems. The amount of free gems we get (starting and the 5 gems we get from like, two missions) are WAY too little! I mean, there are pets and the nursery spots that are over 100 gems, and we need to buy them! In my personal opinion, they’re trying to scam us! Also, the last update was TWO YEARS AGO! I have a suggestion: Update a bit more frequently please! Here’s another suggestion: My ideas where people can get more gems easily! That’s might be a bit easier but harder to get gems but, in the mission, “Saving Up” you could add like, when you collect pets, you also get 1-3 gems depending on how much the pet costs, or if you have a whole family or not. So in that mission, when you are “saving up” you also can collect gems a lot. I’m not saying for that ONE mission, I mean how we collect XP or coins, we should be able to do that with gems! Also, give us some gems form missions, 5 gems at least! (10 can be most or something like that). These are only my suggestions, but I hope you take these, developers, and use them. ✓ This is a Fun Game But I Think There is a Big Problem 💎While I was collecting my coins earlier today I accidentally clicked on the buy coins button and then the the one with 9. Now I have worked super hard to get my nine gems and was saving them to get a special pet so I would like to ask that you add a button asking if you to confirm the purchase and possibly a refund button, especially since the amount of gems I accidentally spent is worth more than what I received in exchange considering how difficult it is to get gems. The game itself is very fun and enjoyable but the gem part of it is kind of absurd and it is way to difficult to get gems especially since most of the missions to earn gems, end up costing a ton of money, take super long, or end up needing gems themselves. Over all I think that there should be some adjustments made about gaining gems, and spending gems. And if they are going to continue to be this difficult to earn please make a button asking you to confirm your purchase because I am presently very frustrated and slightly upset because I have spent two weeks trying to get 5 of those nine gems. So now I have no gems. Summary of my request, make gems easier to get possibly, make a confirm button for purchases including gems, and make a refund button. I think when you complete tasks you should get diamond in return, because you have to pay diamonds to get heaps of things that you need in the game. ✓ Losing all progressI recently got a new phone and transferred everything in my new phone to this one. I entered pet shop to find all my progress has been lost. All of my other games have kept the progress it is just pet shop. I am extremely disappointed as I had 100s of pats and the do not wish to start over. I have lost years of progress and see no point on starting again. Before this happened I loved this game however I wish there was another way to earn gems though as they all get used up very quickly. ✓ Fun, but limitedA great game with loads of different animals and crossbreeds. Fun to grow and collect more pets. Has a lot of potential and very cute However, it is an extremely limited game due to the way gems work. You can only really get gems through payment, and MANY animals and decor cost gems, and a lot of them. You get the rare quest for gems, but you really don't get many and I've only had one or two of those come up. The quest system is also terrible. You end up paying 20,000 coins to complete a quest, and get 400 as your reward. It is an absolute time waster and, with coins taking a long time to save up as it is, can easily leave you with nothing again. The rewards really need to be fixed to something fair- you should be getting more than you paid to complete it? It makes no sense to me..Version: 1.2.0

✓ PLEASE MAKE CHANGES!!!This is a good game and I like it a lot but there are a lot of problems that should be changed. First of all there are not enough ways to get gems. Some of the animals in this game are very expensive. At first the game gave you gems by completing missions but as you level up there are no missions. I'm at the point we're there are no ways to get gems unless I pay real money and I find that pretty harsh. Plz make there be another way to get gems such as watching ads or more missions that give you gems. Another problem is that I got the jack Russell and I got it a mate and later it said buy mate again. So I had to buy it a mate twice which disappointed me. Also some of the animals are too expensive like the border collie is 149 GEMS!!! THATS OUTRAGEOUS. No one will be able to get that unless they pay real money. One more thing that annoys me is that it takes so long to breed some animals for example it takes 3 days to breed a gold fish, that is way to long. Even two days is a little too much. ✓ It’s cute…Pros: The game is cute. You can find friends easily by visiting people and reading their walls. Cons: I need friends to complete a lot of stuff. Alone it takes weeks to build stuff. Also hate that you spend coins and still have to build certain pets. The amount of coins needed to buy stuff is crazy. Then there’s a ton that requires diamond. Half of the “missions” require pets that cost diamonds and there’s no way to earn them. Plus who’s spending $50 just to buy ONE animal? There are also glitches… like I won a Jack Russell for completing a collection and he’s invisible. Then my friends can send parts but I have no idea what some are for. ✓ Alright but bugs and no support from Storm8The game itself is alright but have to wait around a lot so can only really play a few minutes each time at least first part of the game. One of my dogs disappeared so I contacted Storm8 support who straight away told me to just look on the community board and closed my ticket, when I said I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game as advised on the community board they sent me the exact same email saying to look on the community board and closed my ticket again rather than trying to fix the bugs in the game so definitely do not advise spending real money in the game!.Version: 1.2.0
✓ Uhhhhhhhhhhh.......Hi I love this game it is great but has A ton of flaws. First of all, I’m really frustrated because you can’t buy coins without purchasing diamonds and you don’t reward us enough when you complete goals. Second of all, please make the decorations less money than the pets ! And shouldn’t there already be a cash register considering it is a pet shop. ✓ Awesome Game!This game is so much fun, I thoroughly enjoy playing it. The animations and sounds are so cute, there's a huge variety in animals and plenty to do with the team work social aspect added to it. This game is probably the best animal game I've played, but there is only one issue that I would really like the app creators to address. I understand that with creating an application there is an opportunity to make a profit, but in this game the only possible way to get Gems to pay for a significant number of the animals and other items, you have to pay real money. That is fine, but I strongly feel that it should not be the only way of earning Gems. If you added a "watch a video to earn Gems" option, that'd be great. Anything would be good because like I said, I love this game and I want to keep playing it and participate in every activity, but it's a major turnoff when I know that I'd have to pay more than a little bit of real dollars to be able to do that. And when mom got rid of that phone, I forgot about that game, when I was 9, I found it and my heart bursted, I remembered everything....I was happy, I downloaded it and played, I had to restart but I didn’t mind me. Now I’m 11 and I still love the game, and I’m with anyone who loves it too. Like most people are saying who leave a review, the developers seem like they have just given up on this game which is unfortunate bc it’s such a nice game to play if you’re an animal lover. So I’m order to fix the problem of receiving more gems, make some of the rewards for missions be gems. Or, once in a while when you click on your animals to collect coins and feed them, hide in a gem here or there. I believe that would make the game more exciting to play. ✓ Fun but glitchyI have been playing this game for years, I've been through re-downloads, starting over, and, of course, some problems. It's a pretty fun game and all, but it does have some problems. I don't really like the fact that you are only allowed to get pets that cost coins unless you pay when kids like me want to play it and don't want to spend money. Not that long ago I bought gems when on-sale. I don't like the fact that I couldn't restore the purchase when, if I remember correctly, I got a new phone and had to restart. I also have experienced glitches. Some minor ones where animals don't show up in their pens. I also just bought a Jack Russel Terrier mate. I closed the app like usual, came back, and it wasn't there. It wanted me to buy a mate, when I just did. ✓ Glitches, Gems, Pay to PlayI first started playing this game ever since it came out and I had so much fun. However, there is one single problem that still annoys me today, which is gems. You literally only get like 20 gems throughout the entire gems including quests and everything. Given the mere 20 gems you get without paying, in order to fully complete this game with all pets, you need over 5,000. This is extremely ridiculous. Who would ever want to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a kids game just to fully 100% complete the game. You are only able to get the limited options of pets in the game that are not bought with gems. In fact, a ton of quests involve having to buy pets with gems when some of those pets cost more gems than you could ever get in the game without paying money. Onto the glitches. When I returned to this game after not playing for about 5 years, I was astounded with the amount of glitches in the game. One moment I buy a chihuahua and the next moment it completely vanishes. Also, sometimes when you buy a mate and breed a baby, both the mate and the baby in the nursery also completely vanishes with the money you spent on it also disappearing. Absolutely ridiculous. TL;DR: If you want to complete the game without spending money and are annoyed by glitches, do not download. ✓ Refuse to make up for their bugs!There is a bug with the chihuahua where it keeps disappearing making it impossible to complete a task and causing you to waste lots of coins on many attempts (or gems to skip the task). I deleted and reinstalled the game to see if it would remedy it, and it did not. When I filed a support ticket it was instantly rejected, meaning they do not care about the bug and they will not compensate for the wasted time, coins, and gems. It’s a very fun game but when the creators will not listen to their players it makes for an experience that does not make the game worth playing. ✓ Just redownloaded and...Wow, NOTHING has changed. I haven’t played this game for 2 years. 2 YEARS. Not a single improvement, nothing new added, and the already rare updates now almost NEVER happen. ✓ It could me so much more!I played this game back when it first came out and have gone through phases of deleting and redownloading the game simply because it become monotonous after awhile. What's funny is that everytime I came back to the game nothing ever changed about it! Its like the developers have given up on sprucing up the game and making it more interesting! ✓ Longtime customerLet me start off by saying I have been playing this game since I was like 5 years old, along with Zoo story. This was always the game I liked the least, not because of the graphics or situations, but simply because having nothing to buy without diamonds makes the game so boring. I am not going to spend my money on this app, but everything I have to do basically just uses diamond. Heal and animal? Diamonds. Buy ≈50% of the store? Diamonds. Rush jobs to complete tasks in time? Diamonds. It seems like a game so diamond-heavy would give you alternate means to earn diamonds, right? Wrong. The only way to grow a stock of diamonds past the 20 they give you in the very beginning is to spend money. ✓ Please change thisIt is an awesome game but I do not like that for some enclosures you have to get special things that you have to ask your neighbors for. Also it is way to gem dependent. I earned the first few gems by finishing a job but then there was no way to get a gem. So when you level up you should get at least 10 gems because the animals are a ridiculous amount of gems and kids like me do not want to spend money on a rip off. Also you would never be able to get enough gems to buy some of the animals and some animals are too much money. An example of the most money for an animal is 1,200. So if you do not fix these problems I will delete the game and tell all my friends to not get it. ✓ It is a really good game but there NEEDS to be some changes!!This is a really good game in my opinion and I would definitely recommend but there needs to be some changes and I hope you can take this into consideration… first there is way to many things that require gems and there is very few ways to get gems… for example there is pets and supplies etc that require large amounts of gems in order to buy that thing and there is very few ways to get gems other then tasks, but the tasks will make you spend thousands of coins on unnecessary items and then you only get like 5 gems when these products require way higher amounts. Another thing is tasks require you to buy certain things and do certain things in order to get the money or gems but you spend WAY more then you get in return. ✓ Warning-EMOTIONAL BLACKMAILI recently bred a chihuahua puppy. I left the game for a while as it would take a while for the puppy to be born. When I opened the game again to place the new puppy I got a message saying "your puppy got sick" and I had the option to spend $3 to buy gems to heal the puppy or "abandon" it. That is wrong. Apart from that: Fun game, cute pets. Each pet has one animation which it does every few seconds. It makes them look more realistic but when a whole family of pets animate and the exact same time it looks weird. ✓ Pay to playI’ve been playing maybe a week, and now every single animal I breed shows up with a “your baby is sick” message. So I can either forfeit all the coins that I saved up and the time I committed (sometimes days) to breed that pet and start over, knowing the same thing will happen next time, or I can use the last few gems I have. Gems are WAY overpriced considering the number you need to buy a pet or save a sick baby. I know in-app purchases support developers, but it’s not optional in this game, and it’s definitely not worth it for what you get. There are so many other games out there where you can make progress for free or with very affordable IAPs that actually give value for your money. They could at least add an option for people who can’t pay money where we can choose to watch ads to get gems. I’ve also had issues with having to buy pets multiple times because they disappear (along with the coins I paid) and completing quests that require a bunch of friends or a stash of gems to complete the different steps. ✓ Could be fun, but requires gemsThe game is nice, lots of pets to choose from, but there is a huge downside to it. Whenever I try to breed a new baby pet, it keeps getting sick and the only way to heal it is to spend gems, and the only way to get gems is to pay for it with actual money. If I try to abandon a pet baby that is sick and breed another one instead , it also gets sick over and over again. I tried to breed a baby chihuahua for 7 times now, but it keeps getting sick. ✓ Missing the old gameI used to play this game as a kid, and i always ended up downloading this app on my phone because i love building a pet shop. However, there’s a few things i know myself and others would love to be changed. 1. it’s almost impossible to earn gems in the game. it’ll have you buy a pet worth 36 gems, for a reward of 5 gems. i don’t have gems to begin with. there needs to be an upgrade where you can watch ads for gems, or gift gems. something to help the players. 2. i find so much difficulty typing in others user names into my search bar. the app makes it so that i cant click enter, and add more friends. which is making the game difficult to play, because all my tasks are saying “add x amount of neighbors”. the only way i can get neighbors is if someone else adds me first. 5 stars for the memories, and the general usage of the game. but the app needs serious upgrades for the loyal players, and the new ones!! i’m sure so many people will play this game and i’d hope that future generations of kids can too. it’s a safe, friendly, calming game that everyone can enjoy. please fix the bug issues & gem issues thanks so much & i hope you really consider all our reviews into upgrading the app..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Has major issuesI love this game, I first downloaded it when I was younger, but it’s changed. And I’m afraid it’s not for the better. First off every time you log on an add for the creators other game pops up, very very annoying. Second off is there is no tutorial or guide to getting started besides buying pets and breeding them. ✓ Nice game but...I found this game on the app stone one day and I wanted to try it out, but I was very disappointed. Fist of all I want to point out that this game is for ages 4 and up so it is kind of cheesy when it comes to graphics and sense. Like how people just walk out with their new pet practically stealing from you, or obviously how when a person buys a pet, the pet in their “habitat” the person buys doesn’t disappear like I feel it should. Almost like the pets you have are on display like a candy store in Disneyland. Another problem I found with the game that also doesn’t make sense is that there are more than one kind of person, like people have a bunch of triplets and twins that keep walking into the store. Anyways the real problem I had was with the higher type of money form the game offers, also known as gems. I feel that you don’t get enough, mostly because a lot of the pets and many other things cost gems. ✓ A few problemsThe game overall was pretty entertaining, but there were a few things that could be changed. When I got the chihuahua, it said I had one, yet it made me buy another because it just disappeared. I collected from it, but you couldn’t see it or breed it unless you technically bought three. Also, the animals that cost gems are almost impossible to acquire unless you pay money. The only way to get gems is to complete a couple tasks in the beginning, but after that it stops giving you gems. Even then you only get one, and the animals cost so many gems to purchase. I’m not sure if this happens with every device you play the game on, but with mine it wouldn’t let me enter a friends Storm8 ID, and that’s one of the tasks in the beginning so I couldn’t do it. ✓ GemsAs much as this game is fun, it’s nearly impossible to complete without gems. And gems are nearly impossible to get without paying actual money, which is dumb! I’m literally at a point in the game where I can’t complete any of the tasks because I have no gems, and I’m not willing to buy them! There are several pets, items, etc. that you need to buy to progress with the game and you literally cannot without buying gems. Also, one other thing I’m not a huge fan of is the fact that if you need to use gems to buy parts for a pen that you can’t complete, it says, for example, that you can use two diamonds to buy this and two diamonds to buy that, but then there’s a buy all down below which is like 50 gems? I think that’s just kinda strange, because who in their right mind would press the ‘buy all’ if there was a cheaper way to do it. If you’re going to implement the ‘buy all’ to begin with, add it as the same amount as buying them separately would cost. ✓ Long Time Player (7+ years)I remember when I got my first tablet, as a kid in 2010, I downloaded this game and from then on I’ve always downloaded this game on every device. At the time it was fairly new so the bugs were fixed pretty early on and was a fun long term game since it reflects real hours. Now, in 2022, I made a new account and have been playing for a few months again but I noticed it seems like the developers abandoned the game, which is a HUGE bummer!! So much potential!! From the Jack Russells being indefinitely invisible, to the game not even fitting the new iOS screens anymore, it’s all just bumming me out. Another small complaint that apparently I’m not alone in is how gems are a key part of the game but you HAVE to pay money to play it well. I understand in app purchases being a good source for income in games (if done right) but since the game doesn’t even fit my phone screen then I don’t feel right purchasing a handful of gems for a hundred bucks. Prices definitely should be lower if you’re buying gems and even then there should be more tasks that offer gems are rewards for younger kids to fully enjoy the game. ✓ Fun, cute but potentially expensive!While in game buying of "diamonds" is not compulsory and you can play semi average game without it is impossible to really move forward without purchasing diamonds and the time taken to do each tasks increases dramatically so you kinda get bored waiting or end up purchasing. Problem is diamonds aren't cheap $6.49NZD for 24 which still can barely get you one of the more exotic pets or speed up much time. Annoying adds also keep popping up which I think should stop the second you purchase diamonds. I understand free games need to make some money but a check really needs to be done on what they are charging and what it actually gets you. I'd rather pay $6.49 for the game once off and be limited only by time to unlock goals not how much I want to dent my credit card. Another option is give people a choice to buy diamonds to speed things up OR put a fake money value on an alternative option. ✓ WAY TOO GEM-DEPENDANTThis game is awesome! I’ve played it every since I was a little kid. I downloaded it again to kinda reminisce on some nostalgia but I was sad to see there had been no major changes after years. First off, I really think there needs to be an option to change the wallpaper, flooring, or door. I think it’s a really fun way to make the shops unique. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY! ✓ Fun but not at all worth itThis game is fun. I’m 18 years old and I remember playing this when I was like 12 or 13. I re-downloaded it & not much seems to have changed since then but I just can’t continue to play this game anymore. Like everyone has said, it seems like the ONLY way to get gems is to pay real money for them. On top of that, 8/10 tasks I have right now are asking me to use 15+ gems on EACH TASK. Do the math, I’m not paying that much for a game. Another user mentioned something that happened to me as well: I bought a mate and started breeding and then the game glitches, and my money I just spent along w the animals I got just disappeared! ✓ Need an easier way to get gemsI love this game, I have loved it since iPod 4s were the big thing. But there are still so many bugs and performance issues. As well as if you are going to make so many things in this game rely on gems, like quests and different pets and displays then you should make gems more accessible in game. ✓ Cool game, definitely needs improvementSo this game was awesome when I was younger, and I recently got back into it, but I noticed so many problems, little, but the effect on gameplay is big. This game gets addicting, but once you realize that you can’t progress easily it gets annoying. I got to level 18 or 19 and it got so much harder to level up, and, most of the “quests” you do require gems, or a lot of money. Also, you only get gems for the first few quests, around 20 gems, but then you don’t get anymore for the first few levels, which makes it really hard to progress. There are also limited ways to get coins, your babies get sick after you don’t get them, and lots of glitches in the storm id thing. ✓ Good game but several things wrongIt was a good game for the first week but after a while it costs more to progress and you need a lot more gems which you will probably have to purchase. The game also advertised another game countless times with missions being to download it and it popping up all the time. The missions eventually cost money more to complete than you receive. You also have to collect dozens of items that can only be collected from friends gifting you them meaning it takes ages to get these items as you can only gift one a day. ✓ Unable to add friendsUnable to complete a task to add a neighbour because when entering a Storm8 ID the keyboard doesn’t collapse/disappear once you have typed the ID in, so are unable to the press ‘invite’ as the keyboard covers up the invite button and the ‘done’ button doesn’t trigger the ‘invite’ function. This never used to be a problem when I played the game a few years ago, so not sure why this is now happening. Please fix as this will prevent me and other players from being able to complete numerous tasks and progress through the game. Also I have just completed a task to win a chihuahua then after a few minutes my chihuahua has disappeared and I am left with an empty pen, unable to buy a mate to breed them to complete tasks. I have also noticed this same bug when visiting other people’s stores, where their Jack Russel and Chihuahua pens are empty but you can still play with them. I’ve seen this bug reported a long while back but still not fixed by Storm8. Disappointing. Too many bugs so only 1 star rating from me. Will look for an alternative game to play..Version: 1.2.1

The one that bothers me most is that when you earn a pet and you buy a mate for it the mate disappears and then you have to buy another mate. I just earned the Jack Russell, bought a mate, and started breeding a baby. Then my mate disappeared and my nursery was empty, but I had lost the money that I spent on them. This glitch is very frustrating and I would enjoy the game much more if it were fixed. My other issue with the game is that too many things rely on gems. I understand that the point of this game is to make money for the company, but gems really should be reserved to purchase cool pets or decorations. ✓ Great but one issueI love the game and the concept but, when you breed animals you have to be I swear PERFECT timing when they are born or they get sick! I bred my Chihuahuas and I was 2 hours late on placing the puppy 2 HOURS! I had to abandon the puppy because it got sick and I didn’t have any gems to pay for the treatment for it being sick, so I wasted 600 coins because I was 2 hours late. Please make this issue less time sensitive, like you have to not place the baby animal for like 24 or 48 hours before they become sick because not every body is going to have gems to pay the fee to make them better, and not every body is going to be able to place the baby right then they might be doing school or working.
