✓ CRASHING ALL THE TIMEI love playing this game but it's really annoying with all the "no internet connection" message when I can play city story no problem. PLEASE FIX! ✓ Farm story 2 years onThis was really good fun in the early days, with challenges to complete and rewards to earn, but now I can't expand any more, there are no challenges any more, and there aren't even any special Christmas items to add this year. ✓ Not with the downloadI had this game for about 3 days, it was fun at first but if you don't have any Facebook friends or friends that play in general... Good luck. You cannot expand your farm unless you have neighbors? I'm sorry, but not one of my friends plays this game lol. So, it defeats the whole purpose of the game, because if ou can't expand you can't put down more trees, animals, plots ect. I'm also annoyed with the fact that almost everything on that game costs diamonds... Which you never get. And I am certainly not going to buy any, the game is not worth my money. ✓ ChefI love the game however I save up money and gems and then it stops at a certain level what do I do with all the stuff I saved up I don't like how you have to buy certain thing with gems when you never have enough why can't it be with just gems I am not going to buy them with my personal money then it's not a game I don't the bill board by my game get rid of it my farm look ugly then when your just starting out the hours to wait for crop your all full and neighbor don't want to come back so it takes forever to build money and gems let give more gem so our farms will look better and we can get more things you have to get money for land you have to get more money for items you have to get more money to spend on crop so it takes a lot can we make it easier to get more money and gems I do like the game 😃.Version: 2.0.2
✓ Farm StoryLove this game.. Neighbours are friendly.. Great game, worth the 5 stars I wrote this 3 years ago, then the game was great and it is still today but after trying to get in touch with the support team to see if they will be updating Farm Story for the upcoming iOS 11 update as the game can no longer be played with that update, I found out that Farm Story is no longer supported by storm8 and yet they continue to take in-app purchases. I feel this is wrong and should not be allowed. I will be writing to Apple about this issue. I have given this only a 1 star because of the lack of support and not the game..Version: 2.0.2
✓ My Faves Team Lava gameAfter a few years if playing, initially there were some pop up issues but I don't notice them these days. This little game has become an old favourite. ✓ Fun to Play, But So Many Ads!This is a fun game to play. I have just a few complaints. I wish there was an option to play offline. Also, there are so many popup ads! You can't dismiss them easily. Every time I start the game, I have to wait for three or four ads to load and go through several steps to dismiss them. One ad seems to permanently land on the side of the farm. I will continue to play, but the ads are quite annoying. I might be willing to consider paying a couple bucks for an ad-free version, but the developers don't seem to be interested in that option..Version: 2.0.2
✓ Team lava does not careIts dec 2014 and I've written team lava till I'm blue in the face and all i get is one sentence remarks that avoid the issue. updates have stopped for a long time in their effort to squash their own game! Nothing for christmas in 2013 and now 2014. They used to have tons of great xmas items. This company has a game that is loved by people who are willing to spend real money and they stay on hoping things will change. And yet team lava continues to try and kill it by stopping all support hoping everyone will migrate to the inferior farm story 2. Fs2 does not provide for the social aspects fs1 does where we meet people from all over and the creativity by people in the designs they create with crops etc. fs2 is just an attempt to dazzle with motion and busy work thats mindless. What business person wants to destroy their own product even when it doesn't want to die...and then refuses to respond to the players on their motives. Its sad and frustrating. ✓ Farm StoryI'm giving it three stars because: 1. You have to buy your gems with real coins its a waste of money and they put things on there that cost like 90 gems and how can we do that unless buying gems and wasting our money. 2. I only started playing at the start of last year and it deleted my neighbours and I only have 2000 coins left! That's probably it otherwise its a good game letting you interact with the world like I have a neighbour who claims she lives in France!! ✓ No weekly updatesI've been playing for nine months. I am a level 150 player. There have never been updates since I've been playing. We had a few updates during the holidays and that was it! I wrote a review criticizing the developers of farm story and each time I do it my access to the game is blocked. I've known other players who had this problem and I thought they were exaggerating when they said it but apparently it's true. I wrote another email to the developers so I may never have access to the game. I'm going to stop playing anyway because the game got boring with no weekly update. ✓ Farm StoryI had played this game for years but Storm 8 has neglected it so badly it is no longer compatible with updated devices. I can’t even download or find the app in my purchases in the cloud anymore or if I do I have no option to recover it easily. Shame on your neglect Storm 8. ✓ Quite good but could be betterThe game is usually ok. Most neighbours are nice. Many are middle aged or older. My biggest frustration is that it is too easy to lose 20 gems in fertilising the entire crop. It is to easy to inadvertently click on the confirmation, particularly if in a hurry and with the small controls on an iPhone..Version: 2.0.2

✓ Irritating Pop-Ups & TrollsThis is a game I played a few years back and Igrew weary of the endless popups and the constant encouragement to buy gems to further my progress so I deleted it, but I decided to revisit only to discover that if anything things have got worse with intrusive popups promoting the developers' other games and 'gem sales'. In addition it seems that a rather prudish atmosphere prevails amongst a fair proportion of the players, with jokey and sometimes a little risqué comments being reported, with bans being handed out...get over yourselves ladies...as I'm sure most would like to refer to themselves; it's all in fun, perhaps you all need to look the word up in the dictionary. As for the game, it's very low tech and slow, I doubt the developers have any interest updating it, they just use it as a vehicle to promote their other, really rather ordinary games so I shall be deleting it...again!.Version: 2.0.2
✓ Boring and too many ads.Wants way too many coins (how long exactly to do you have spend planting and harvesting to earn enough for a house costing 200k in coins?) for decor when you barely make anything from crops. Seems more interested in pushing you to install other games like Hungry Babies or whatever it is. Every time I turn around I get a pop-up in the way of what I'm trying to do because it wants you to install other games as one of the "goals" on your list. Not in the mood to wait 3 months or god knows how long to get decor and actually make it look like a farm and not just a big square of crops with one tree that make next to nothing because I can't afford a house or barn, etc. Uinstalling. I have noticed, however, that the game requires a huge amount of finger action; this could become a distraction. Reading some of the reviews I have discovered the game has a large fan base, and yet, a lot of problems. Players seem to like the interaction with neighbors and mastering the game items. It is still all of that, but disappointing when you earn or spend money on gems and Team Lava sets up a gem trap that takes a bulk of them away. Also, they have not been offering updates for many weeks and prior to then for several months the updates were nothing most players wanted. Team Lava seems to have lost their creativity and interest in Farm Story. For those of us at level 150, we would like the chance to increase our level. There are many at 150, it is time for Team Lava to advance the levels. It took me and hour to work out how the game worked. ✓ Game that asks for too much & gives little in returnInitially, the game is quiet captivating. The idea of your very own personalized farm. But had to delete it for 2 reasons. Firstly, the constant ads that pop up every single time. The banners that obstruct your view. But that was bearable. What blew me over the edge was the koi pond. I paid coins for it. ✓ A good game gone badA good friend has just received a permanent ban. Her crime? Making a risqué joke. Teamlava have given no explanation. She had a level 99 farm with over 100 gems. All gone. Some might say stolen! That aside this game is peppered with pop-ups. Players are incessantly badgered to buy gems and the 'Tap to Manage' feature, newly introduced, just steals away gems from the unaware. This used to be a lovely game, now sadly it seems the developers are only in it for short-term financial gain with their players very low down on their list of priorities. How sad. That should have been made clear when the criteria for expansion was set! Clearly a bait and switch. BTW, I don't want any more neighbors! Have enough. And keep those freakin billboards off of my farm. They are ugly, annoying, and don't take "no" for an answer. And while I am at it, the seed choosing screen could be greatly improved. ✓ NO SUPPORT!!!!This app has not had an update since August 6, 2013!!! What's more the developers don't give a hoot about it or the players. They must make more money on their idiotic animated "story" games and their cheesy arcade games. The only reason I still participate is the social side, which in reality, isn't that big a deal. You only can have two sentences or so room to message at one time so you end up writing 2-3 times for your whole message. The powers that be on Team Lava also have some weird censoring system that may eliminate everything you write for some word or combination that they for some crazy reason seem inappropriate. Its fun, creative and very entertaining... and even though there’s farm 2 and other games from the same chain, this one is my favorite and I can’t play it anymore on my iPhone or any Apple device that has the new updates!!! ✓ Annoying pop upsThis is a great game, but they are constantly trying to get you to install other games they make. So much so when you come back to your farm you have to click later for 1 pop up. The. You get an old farmer appear who then suggests that you get another game from them. Once you get past all that there is bill board so close to your field that you almost click on it by accident. This then prompts you to install another game! Once you have got past all that, then installing all the games that where suggested to you are set as goals on the left hand side of the screen! ✓ Why only one starI absolutely love this game-play it daily-my favorite between Pet Story and This. But I am giving it one star because they rarely if ever offer weekly updates. Pet Story still offers weekly updates and holiday themed items. Farm story only recently offered winter type items if we paid for them. Nothing has been offered as a weekly update all through this Christmas season. I have brought this to their attention many times, with no satisfaction. We did get a little at Thanksgiving but that was it-nothing at all at Halloween. I see other neighbors getting things and I do not know if these are things they have from previous years or they are new and there is something wrong with my game in particular. Or if they're not giving updates in the USA and are in other countries. This is just so disappointing and they keep telling me to check for updates on Facebook or update the game-nothing that works. There used to always be weekly updates-something I looked forward to. But, no longer. Both pet story and farm story are run by Team Lava and I do not understand how they can keep doing weekly updates for one while totally appearing to ignore their other game. I just keep getting more and more disgusted to the point I may soon stop playing the game. Please get this situation resolved one way or another. Big But, it has a nasty habit go saying "there is NO internet connection" when I'm just about to collect a large crop. I am being told they were offered years ago, so you cannot get them now ? And the gems, OUCH,,, expensive. And what do you do with the tools given to you with the "little hammer" icon next to them? Everybody wants them gifted back however no one will tell you what they are for. Apparently there is value. ✓ PLEASE UPDATE!!!!!!!I used to play this game ALL the time on my mom’s phone when I was little. Then when my parents bought me an iPod I downloaded it there and played every single day. When I got my first phone, I dowloaded this game and, again, played it every chance I got. I got a new phone about a year after my first one and downloaded this game but unfortunately I had to delete it because I didn’t have enough storage space. Now I upgraded my space about a year ago and recently had an encounter with all the story games and I couldn't help but search for this one only to find out that this app doesn't support IOS 11. ✓ Good game but a few nigglesLove playing this game app. I'm connected as neighbours with my eldest two children which is good fun. I don't like the pop ups that always appear at the start of each play, nor the fact that some don't have an X to exit them, instead I have to click to install and then back track on myself to escape!! Also on a fairly regular occasion I get a "game requires online access" this happens when I'm at home and have full wifi signal so a bit random?!.Version: 2.0.2
