✓ Difficulty levelI'm at level 100, and have to wait another 8 hours to pass the level, because the difficulty level is beyond comprehensible reason. I have had to wait MULTIPLE WEEKS to progress through the game due to the level of skill required to pass many of these levels, and it's not that their difficult, it's that the mechanics themselves make them immensely frustrating. I know precisely how to pass it, and make every move exactly right, and one of the guards spots me behind a wall. The flashlight is barely a smudge red in a corner.. And apparently he can see me on the other side of a wall. It's a waste of time. ✓ LagThe game overall is very fun, but when it comes to guests, thieves, ghosts, and security guards, the lag gets very, VERY annoying. Like when there was a guard I tried to move up to confuse him but it lagged a split second, more than enough time to let the guard turn around. And when there was a level that the requirement is "remove all the guests" or "avoid guests, destroy all art", the lag gets annoying (which I told you the second time now) because if I am down to, say, one guest, I would go up and try to remove it, but the guest would move and I would fail and waste paws one after another. The most annoying part is the security guard, because you cannot predict when he turns, and once he spots you, it's over. That last sentence there changes the game from a 99% strategy game into a mostly luck game once you get far enough. To sum this up, the game is fun, but if you want five stars, fix the lag OR when Rory is moving, make all the mother moving stuff stay still..VindadVersion: 1.0.26

✓ Man, this game is stupid :-)I guess the target audience is little kids with short attention span who would love to run around a museum, crashing into walls, slashing up paintings as fast as they can, and possibly attacking "snobs" in an art museum with the strength of a crazed bear. I gave it a few stars because it does have the cleverness of those sliding puzzle games, where you have to figure out how to get from one square on a grid to another. I played the game for about a dozen levels, until it told me I had to spend a dollar in order to play more levels. Now I am reviewing it, and then I will uninstall it. ✓ Perfect example of everything wrong with mobile gamingIt costs 8 bucks just to remove timers and unlock the extra levels that you can only unlock by paying or soliciting help from people on Facebook, so if you are like me and don’t use it you are paying. That price point is absurd for a basic puzzle game. Most good puzzlers go for 2 to 4 bucks to have to timers and all levels unlockable by simply playing through. Note that the VIP access unlock appears to be trending down so at some point this review may be irrelevant, but at the time of this writing it is listed at 5.99. The idea is probably that they really don’t want you to unlock, just pay 99 cents for a paw refill here and there, and over time we will get more than that. The timers are annoying and the fact that you can’t unlock all of the levels by simply playing is a deal breaker. Why not offer a premium upgrade that is reasonably priced?.GuiliciousVersion: 1.0.25

✓ Great game. Terrible in-app purchasing.I love this game, it gets really challenging, to the point where I spend a week or more on one level (which is a good thing!). To play the game without needing paws (tries), however, you have to spend $7.50 on 'V.I.P. access'. Halfbrick have made a real blunder here. I paid $2.50 for extra content once I'd finished the game, despite having to wait for paw refills throughout. I know people that didn't make it that far. Imagine how many more people would complete the game and purchase the extra content if there were nothing to limit their progress! ✓ Good but currently flawedThis is a fun game with really nice production values, artwork, and clearly a lot of thought and love put into it. However. It starts to suffer the curse of random elements once you hit the second island. It is purely skill based until then. So if you can figure out the logic puzzles, it is plain sailing. Once you hit island two though, randomly moving guards (think metal gear solid, only cuter!) crop up and make rapid retries something completely out of your control. Happen to fall into the vision of a completely randomly moving guard? Game over...try again! This takes the carefully created puzzle feel of the game and plunges it into the hideous realm of luck based game play, which is not only not fun but is totally contrary to how the game has presented itself thus far. So... A half hearted recommendation. A potentially great game that unexpectedly turns from puzzle and skill based fun, to random luck based nightmare.
