✓ Great Start.I must say, I was griped from the very first episode. I've always loved games like these, and after playing their Walking Dead Series I was hoping for the same sort of experience. I can understand that developing games for a touch UI can be difficult and bugs will be present, but hey - you can't ask more. Also, I do agree with the previous comment of how it was slightly sorter than expected, but I'm hoping that when the next episodes come out, they'll come out all at once. The same goes for TWAD season 2. All in all, TWAU is a great game with a gripping beginning storyline which has you sitting on edge..Version: 1.2

✓ Great story, meh formatI'm sucked into the story of Fabletown and Wolf, but not loving the iPad format. I played The Walking Dead, also by Telltale Games, on the Xbox, and vastly prefer that format for this type of game, but it means I have to fight my husband for control of the console so I'm willing to put up with the short freezes and sound glitches and weird touchscreen sensitivities (why does the screen work just find for walking around but when I have to duck a punch or tap to use an item, I have to do it just so or it doesn't work? Poor Big y's gotten hit with a lot of stuff he shouldn't have thanks to that) in the iPad version so I can play even if he's using the Xbox..Version: 1.3

I was very happy about the game play and I recommend this strongly to people who have played the Walking Dead game because it's exactly the same just different story line. ✓ Little Buggy, but Still GreatI watches several YouTubers play this, and I got it for myself as soon as I could. The first episode is obviously free, but the other four cost money. There's a bug in my game in the second chapter that says my choices for responses are blank, and I have to take a wild guess at choosing a response and pray it was the right one. I know I'm not the only one with this problem, so please get this fixed as soon as possible. The story is very engrossing, and I really want to see what happens next. I can't do that if I can't progress, which is what the aforementioned bug is causing. I can't get further without making the right choices. Also, the controls are a bit touchy. Makes it hard for me to select options for interacting with objects, since it won't register as me hitting the buttons..Version: 1.3

✓ Fantastic, worth itMy god, this game is simply, fantastic. It has such an interesting story, the fact that the game revolves around making choices that you wish to take is really fun, the characters have such great personalities, the story is great, voice actors suit the characters. It's great! Gameplay is fine, though the lag can get annoying when it happens now and then, but that doesn't change the quality, this for me is a great game. I do wish the extra chapters where cheap though, after playing the first chapter, you have to wonder what goes on next. You have to continue, I give this game ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. ✓ A Violent FairytaleNow, my new reviews always start of with a recommendation for parents. As it helps kids play games good for their age, which I want to help in. For Parents: 17+ is my recommended age review for this game, under 17's will most likely enjoy this, the only thing is... Well, it's a violent Fairytale. There is blood, gore, plus a bit of inappropriate content that I can't remember. If you get it for an under 17, I recommend playing through the whole game and skipping parts for them that are not good for their age, but I recommend waiting for them to become 17. So you make choices that have consequences with them. It is more like a movie than a game, but it's still great. The Wolf Among Us is a very great episodic based game. That I recommend..Version: 1.3

The only reason not 5 stars is it can be laggy in parts impacting the play eg in fights clicking an option or direction is too slow that the game assumes no selection. Also, sometimes the response options all come up as "this selection is blank!" Which means you have to just select one randomly and hope it is something positive. This doesn't affect the whole game though and I gladly bought the whole bundle as I can't wait for ep 3!! Please fix the lag though.Version: 1.2

✓ Love the Game, NOT the Controls..I love Telltale's games like this. I have purchased and played the Borderlands version too! I am only on chapter 1 but I know I will be purchasing the rest of the episodes.. I just can't get over the controls!... The way the control buttons are laid out are pretty fine with me.. My issue is that they don't work! Every time I want to touch or examine something I have to hit it 15 times before it works.. Usually moving Bigby around between. Sometimes I can't examine or touch an item AT ALL!! I have to completely skip it!! Very frustrating as I feel I am messing up my story line by doing this!! I don't understand it -- Does he have to be standing just so in relation to the item? Then why does the menu for the actions Coke up then otherwise? ✓ AWESOMETelltale. I can't believe it. You've done it again. First the walking dead. Now this. Shame the second episode isn't out already. Graphics: The comic book style of the graphics and the background is absolutely fantastic. It's a really cool concept. Music and Atmosphere: I bet I could've been a little more immersed at some points, but it was very atmospheric, this game. And the music constantly suited the situation. Storyline: I love the fact that there are four save files so I can play the story however I want. I've made another save file to make all of the wrong decisions just for fun. Until I realized half the decisions I made were actually turning out right, which leads me to my next topic, the fact that you can have so many different choices and you never know which ones going to affect the entire game. And about the storyline: I absolutely love the concept of Fables, and the Big Bad Wolf and Snow White and all that great stuff. ✓ Great Story, Shame About SavesIf you’re a fan of Telltale-style games such as the Walking Dead, then you’ll probably know what you’re in for. Despite TWD being Telltale’s signature break-out, The Wolf Among Us feels darker, more serious - and all that from being based on a graphic novel. Great storytelling in here, but I have a complaint that knocks it down from a five-star: the save system is rubbish. It’s based on checkpoints, so you can’t manually check out where you are. This makes it maddening on the morning commute: if you haven’t hit a check point, you’ll lose your progress. And if you get to a checkpoint and want to continue but you’ve only got a couple minutes, best to not bother. It’s made worse by forgetting where you are when you background it - it’s a fundamentally flawed saved system that means you need to play based on their schedule, not yours. ✓ Great Story but here’s how to fix that bugIts a great game, the story is amazing. There is this one bug where all the answer choices say “This Choice Is Blank” or something along the lines of that. What I did to fix it is I paused it went to the main menu. A lot of people mess up because they press continue story instead of pressing the actual chapter you’re on then it should ask what do you want to save it on. Select the auto saved chapter that’s in the far left and select overwrite. It will be fixed however I understand if you’re in the middle of the chapter and have to do this. It gets annoying after a while but this shouldn’t happen often so good luck!.Version: 1.3

I should mention that I've encountered audio glitches at the end of the final episode (right after Toad leaves on the truck and Bigby starts talking with Nerissa). Basically 1/2 the conversation between the two of them was silent, and their dialog would cut off before it was done. ✓ After the whole season, I have to say...That. Was. Amazing. I just finished the last episode, Cry Wolf, and (without spoiling anything) it was the best episode yet but that's how all of them have been, each episode getting better than the last. The amount of choices you have in this episode is amazing, where you can save some characters but kill others, wow. And the final cliffhanger is absolutely amazing. They at least made the first one free. While this isn't a game that is all action, I feel that it balances out between inspections and fight sequences. ✓ Amazingly and Astonishingly BrilliantThe game itself was really interesting and it would leave you speechless at sudden points. Alongside The Walking Dead it's just as much as good. I love how your actions really do change the story and it leaves you feeling as if you were angry because you made a choice you didn't like but it actually changed the story. I got all the way to level five and couldn’t download that last level cuz of all the space taken up. Not by the levels, I deleted those as i went along, just the save files.
