Fantastical Calendar for Positive User Reviews

Such a great appHighly recommended, this app is gorgeous and functional..Version: 2.0.6

Suggestion queryHi. I’ve been using fantastical for over two years now, I love it. One thing I find a little frustrating is remembering which events/reminders I’ve written notes or added URLs in. My suggestion is for perhaps a way to indicate that an event/reminder has something written in the notes/URL section when you’re scrolling through all your upcoming events/reminders. Just a small visual cue of some sort. Cheers..Version: 2.9.6

Fantastic app for working between devicesI love using this app, I’ve used countless calendar apps and I love that this has everything I need in one app. I especially appreciate having the same app working between both my MacBook and iPhone. The devs have been great to deal with, after communicating an issue with the app crashing on my iPhone they quickly fixed the issue and emailed me the fix..Version: 3.7.7

Awesome... Gets me and keeps me organised!I have been using electronic calendars for over 20 years and I have to admit Fantastical version 3 is the best yet! 📆 I started with Fantastical version 2 only several months ago, have been using the Apple Calendars on Mac iOS and iPhone/iPad iOS until then. I am so glad I made the switch because Fantastical is great. There are so many features and once you get use to the small changes in the layout etc then it just works. But it feels intuitive and fluid to use. 📆 📝 Love the new “Propose an alternative time” feature, so useful when arranging meetings with a group of people, allowing all guests to select the best dates and times. Until now I was using an alternative solution, now this is part of my calendar and makes my life simplistic but also saves money! 💓 💰 Also with version 3 Pro the risk is so much less to try the Premium suite as you can pay monthly for all platforms (MAC, iPhone, iPad, watch), no need to buy separate packages and pay a larger cost upfront. 👍 And finally the technical support team were great at sorting an issue I had, they listened and actioned the change and went above and beyond my expectations. 🤩 Look forward to upcoming features! 😎.Version: 3.0.6

Simple and almost perfectThis app has been beautifully stripped back to it’s logical conclusion. The way it combines a simple list of entry’s which, as you scroll, correspond to a little overview on a traditional calendar page is genius. The process of adding entry’s is faster than anything else I’ve tried. And I’m glad I can just buy it rather than relying on a subscription that I never finish paying for. This app deserves 5 stars regardless but there’s one more simplification that would make it perfect (besides a slightly less garish icon). I quite often scroll accidentally up past the current day into the previous week. No big deal! I just scroll down again. But this happens everyday. Wouldn’t a history-lock option be really nice? So you can land neatly in the present with a single, clumsy swipe. I would really appreciate that ☺️ Edit: tapping on the plain red bar at the top easily returns you to the current day- fantastic.Version: 2.10.7

Fastest way to add calendar eventsSimply brilliant app that I also use on Mac! Easily the fastest way to add a calendar event. And the app is also an excellent calendar app on its own as well..Version: 2.1.4

Great design both visually and functionallyFantastical has a wonderful design both visually and functionally. It not only looks great all over iOS (the app itself, the widget, watch app, an especially the iPad app) but it also carries that thoughtful design with it through its functionality. From natural language parsing, to the flow of elements, to the extended keyboard for adding events, it keeps things simple yet complex in a well refined way. My only complaints are that it can take a little to sync across devices on occasion but that may be the fault of iCloud or Google. One thing I really wish it offered was an auto snooze for reminders. I appreciate that it gives me multiple manual snooze buttons but often I have my hands full and can’t snooze. If it goes a few minutes without a manual snooze or completed, it should keep reminding you until acknowledged so as to truly help you never forget. Overall great app though, worth every penny, I hope to see many more improvements over time..Version: 2.9.3

If you use the calendar on iOS...I’m not going to go over features and tell you how awesome this app is. I’m not going to tell you how much more this app will do or how much easier it is to use than the default iOS app. What I’m going to say is the usefulness of this app is up to you. If you use the iOS calendar once or twice a month or just to remember family birthdays you are not going to see much difference between this app and what comes with iOS. But if you use it every week you’ll start to see how this app is easier to do some things. If you use a calendar daily on iOS you will start to sing its praises. If you use it hourly you will swear it is one of the best apps you have ever used and if you didn’t have it now you wouldn’t use a calendar on iOS at all. So how awesome is this app? It’s up to you..Version: 2.9.5

IncomparableI have been using Fantastical for six years. For anyone who regularly uses a calendar, in my opinion there is nothing which comes even close to it. It is the Rolls Royce of calendars. The current version, which was released at the beginning of the year, has many new features. The support team are highly skilled, efficient and very helpful..Version: 3.0.13

One of the best!I love this particular app as it’s the only one that I have found that will do a search for events that are older than a year. Search results go as far back to your very first entry. Thank you so much for that as it has made a HUGE difference to me 😀👍. I also am a big fan of calendar events and reminders all showing up in the same view. Worth every cent!.Version: 2.10.4

Simply the best calendar app for iPhone, iPad, and MacWorth every penny - integrates reminders and invites from Outlook, Gmail, and iCloud, and brings across colour-coding in Outlook calendar entries too (why doesn’t iOS calendar do this?). Love seeing timed reminders in the calendar rather than a separate app. I tried going back to the standard Apple calendar app but couldn’t live without the awesome features in Fantastical. Love it on iPad and Mac too..Version: 3.5.1

Fantastical & CardhopI’ve been using fantastical for many years and have had Cardhop on my iphone since it’s inception they are both great apps and the recent updates to the design are really very nice it has made them both look a lot more slick and professional. My only gripe really is the app icons they look very cheap and nasty very childlike, maybe it’s just me and there trying to make them look kind of amusing but definitely not as professional looking as I think they should be for a very professional apps, the dark icon is just the worst it would be great if they could use black and greys, which in my opinion would really make it look high end. Maybe I’m just being petty. Otherwise though they are very good apps and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a really good alternative to Apples calendar and contacts apps..Version: 3.4

AmazingThis is the answer to all my calendar app needs. My favourite 2 features are that it updates my iOS calendar as well and the widget in notification centre is so comprehensive whilst staying elegant and simple to use. Definitely recommend this as one of the best apps on the App Store!.Version: 2.2.3

PerfectPerfect app.Version: 2.0.4

Good, but...I like the integration of reminders/tasks viewed with calendar event to see the full picture. But, there is one HUGE PROBLEM! I’ve been re-reading “Getting Things Done” by David Allen. He discusses use of a calendar and lists. The combination of the two in this app hits that mark, but fails to address the one concept I’ve incorporated that can be done in the Apple Reminders app. The features is sub-tasks. I’ve been spending time re-organizing myself. I’ve been looking around for new software that can incorporate both the calendar and tasks with sub-task functions while using iCloud and have a Mac companion app so I don’t have to start over and can continue sharing I’ve already have in place with the family. I’ve found apps that address these issues part. This app is the closest to hit all the marks except sub-tasks. If this feature was added, would rate it 5 ⭐️s and purchase the subscription immediately. Update: Now knowing the Reminders API is proprietary and cannot make subtasks, I have to say it’s a great app. I’ve modified my processes and it works for me. Definitely a tool to help keep yourself organized and keep you productive without falling behind..Version: 3.3.3

Loving It!!!! Loving it!!!! Loving it!!I juggle a lot between personal, work and volunteer and I needed a calendar that let me pull everything into one app. I love how easy it was to add all 8 calendars I manage, RSVP to events and even join meetings from right in the app! Having the weather update right on the date is great for outdoor activities! Im using the app across all Apple devices. I haven’t yet figured out if I can download something or browser widget for my work PC. Only big negative I’ve seen so far: when in Fullscreen Month mode, you aren’t able to click on a day and it show the calendar for that day. You can however use the calendar in list view. This shows a small monthly calendar on top with dots as the events on the days and down below has a list of the events for that day selected. Small minor thing really for me. Overall, if you are trying to take control of your calendar then this is the solution for you!!!.Version: 3.1.5

Third time I love itI’ve tried Fantastical three times. I couldn’t understand the interface at first. But now I love it for three reasons: I can see another time zone which helps me schedule meetings with clients overseas; I can propose times for meetings and have colleagues choose the one that suits them, and that goes right into my calendar; and I can send a link that shows when I’m available so people can also select from a broader set of possibilities. These are excellent features, and on top of all that, the app is beautifully made—a delight to use..Version: 3.7.18

Very nice app, but not quite perfect.Fantastical has a ton of functionality. This is a huge pro, of course, but it also leads to the app feeling cluttered or chaotic at times. I would love to see more options to have a simpler main screen. I don’t always want to see everything that I have planned for the coming days; it’s a lot easier to focus on immediate tasks if I have the option of only seeing the current day’s tasks and events. Seeing so many future events can feel overwhelming. I would also like to be able to either create custom length tasks or to be able to check off events like you can in Sorted 3. If, say, I want to block off three hours to focus on cleaning the garage and I get finished in two hours, I have no easy way to end that event early which means it will remain visible on my Watch complication and my home screen widget. You can check off tasks, but unfortunately tasks don’t have a duration setting. These are my only two complaints about the app. Unfortunately, they are pretty significant to the app’s functionality for me and I will likely go back to my previous calendar app after a little while. The way I use my calendar apps leaves some aspects of Fantastical lacking, but overall it is a great app and a lot of people would probably find it the perfect fit..Version: 3.2

Great calendar appThis is my main calendar app now as it comes with great customisation options and useful widgets. I don’t get the negative 1 star reviews, I’m happy to support the developers to keep improving such a useful and fully featured app. One star off for the current full screen month view though - it’s not easy to view what’s on a day, the popover is only available when there are more events that can fit in cell. I would welcome if the popover were available on any day, so that it’s possible to view the full details of a day without having to click on each event one by one..Version: 3.7.4

Happy I changed to this appI love this app! It is simple, very easy to use and very clearly displays the relevant information. The natural language input is fantastic! I also love the seamless integration with Reminders. The user interface is beautiful, uncluttered and a pleasure to work with. It deserves the place as my primary diary and reminder app on my home screen! I changed to this app when my last calendar app produced an upgrade that I had to pay for! I am very happy I changed..Version: 2.2.4

Disabled the one troublesome feature and now it is perfectionThis app was everything my husband and I needed to stay in the loop on each other’s schedule. There was one major flaw — on several occasions, while scrolling through the agenda, I accidentally dragged one of my husband’s events to a different date. There’s no way to see the original date of the event, so you can see how this is potentially catastrophic. I decided to look for a new app, but none were as good as this one. Finally, out of desperation, I used the developer’s contact form to explain the issue. I received a super speedy reply (within 30 minutes) with instructions on how to access the hidden option to disable drag and drop. (Pasted below in case anyone is having the same issue.) I opened the app and fixed the problem with just a few taps. So awesome! Go to Fantastical's in-app settings and pull down from the top of the screen four times. On the next screen, tap Options > Disable Drag and Drop..Version: 2.10.8

Keeps my life togetherI've been using Fantastical for over a year and a half and it's never skipped a beat. I particularly find its widget in the home screen helpful as it shows my whole week (or month) at a glance. I use multiple calendars that are colour-coded so I know what's coming up; whether it's work related, social, an upcoming bill, or something else. I use it to set reminders, which have become second nature due to how easy it is, and everything has synced up nicely with my work Outlook account. I've changed jobs in between and it's worked great with both accounts. I figured it was time to write a review seeing as though I use this app so much - it's made me a more productive person and is one of the few apps that I can say has had a major positive impact on my life. Thanks to the team at Fantastical!!.Version: 2.9.1

Great app.I have recently returned to the Apple ecosystem and was surprised at the standard of the preloaded apps. Having tried a few Calendar apps I discovered Fantastical. I have only been using it for a month but would have to say it is GREAT. It is very easy to use with a great UI. This is the standard of app Apple should per load. The only hitch I have found so far is that the watch sync does not always work and needs a reboot to work again. The biggest issue is the annual price which is steep but as it also covers the equally good contact app Cardhop I was convinced to pay up. Two great apps well done!.Version: 3.4.2

Best calendar app.My daily goto calendar app. The best..Version: 2.1.1

The Calendar App that should be standardSeldom do I pay for apps that duplicate a built in app on iOS but Fantasical is one of the few exceptions to this rule. The speed & ease at which I can enter a new event or look up my schedule make this the app that should have shipped with iOS. If I were Apple, I would buy Flexibits to make Fantasical standard on iOS. There are a lot of Calendar apps out there but Fantasical is the best I have found at interpreting “meet JT at coffee habit in Campbell 2PM to 5 august 15” and making it an appointment on the right day & time. Just that alone makes it worth the price, but when combined with a great navigation UI make this worth using & paying for both the iPhone & iPad versions. (I only wish it was a single app with an iAP for the iPad layout so I knew which was which at a glance.) They went to a subscription model in the last few years which greatly diminishes the attractiveness of this app. It’s still great, but now it’s a constant money drag..Version: 3.7.8

So far, it’s fantastic!!!!I wanted to find a calendar that didn’t require a monthly fee, has no ads, would synch with my iPad and iOS calendars, and had the same interface as the calendar I was using. This fit the bill! I purchased the two separate apps for my phone and IPad. I love how my phone reminders are also integrated into my daily list view and how when you turn the phone horizontally it provides an extended view. I also really like how you can do a light or dark theme and shade the weekends out. I just figured out how to integrate my FB events and I love how I can add the date to the icon. They have a great website that helps guide you through the interface and FAQ’s. Every time I discover a new feature, I’m even more impressed and in love with this calendar app. I finally feel like my life and plans are streamlined, simple and in one place. The search bar feature is so handy. Thanks Fantastical - keep up the good work! This is a lifesaver..Version: 2.9.10

Allows Me Access to ALL My Calendar Data!I have a habit of using the Apple Calendar app to keep track of my family’s activities and even medical information, because I write up the results of any doctor or veterinary visits, once they are complete. The stock app will fail to allow me to search for and reliably retrieve such info, once the data ages past a certain point. However, Fantastical WAS able to provide me with a COMPLETE search results list of calendar entries matching my search term(s), so I use it any time I need to find anything, since the stock Calendar app’s Search feature is unreliable, at best. We found Fantastical back when I NEEDED access to “old” calendar data that I KNEW existed, but that the stock Calendar app refused to locate for me. I love the fact that I can continue to use the app to which I am accustomed, and only need to use Fantastical when I need it for a data search; this is possible because anything I do in either app automatically bounces off the Cloud and populates the other app. SO COOL!.Version: 2.9.7

A great apps for professionalsAre you a casual user? Yes. Should you pay for a calendar app? No. If you’re just looking for something slightly more interesting than Apple's built-in calendar (which is perfectly fine) this will be the wrong fit. But I live in my calendar. It is my meetings, todo, reminders all in one. A single source of truth. If it’s not in my calendar it won’t happen or be remembered. So as a power user, yes, it’s worthwhile value for a subscription. There are great features which really makes it a breeze to manage it all - it’s just the kind of design I like: clean but powerful. I’ve dropped a star because it can be a touch buggy in places and I’m constantly having to reauthenticate Zoom, but no showstoppers..Version: 3.3.10

Great calendar AppHave used Fantastical for a few years and it just keeps getting better and better..Version: 2.6.2

Feature requestCould you add support for ics files? So that they can be opened from either the Chrome browser or Safari? Or the opened from stored files.Version: 2.10.7

If something ever happened to Fantastical, I’d probably just dieThis is no ordinary calendar app - this is, quite frankly, a life changing tool that will turn you into the sort of morally superior, organisation guru you’ve always dreamed of being. As a chronically late, forgetful and naturally disorganised person I used to tackle these issues by spending a lot of time synching up my outlook, google and Apple calendars and keeping separate task and reminders lists only for the connection to periodically break and find I’d totally forgotten about the appointment that wasn’t in my calendar that I was now 15 minutes late to (so far!). Now, I have a dream system. I put EVERYTHING in my fantastical app (which is literally on all my devices) and all my other calendars just drop in perfectly. My Apple reminders are in there. My google tasks! It’s colour coded by work and personal, and, the piece de resistance- the Apple Watch widget- sits gloriously on my wrist, gently reminding me when it’s time to leave for my next appointment and singlehandedly rescuing me from the clutches of my ADHD driven tardiness. The only problem I have now is that I can’t stop diarising everything….Version: 3.4.2

By far the best, and great free upgrades for existing userBefore version 3 I had been actually using a few different calendar apps (including Fantastical 2). Version 3 has brought so many new features, and the feature parity across platforms, that it has fully won me over as my calendar app of choice. The way that they allow version 2 users to upgrade for free, and made sure that we still get all of the same features we previously paid for across each platform, even if some of them are now normally under the new subscription tier, is very well done. It means you get all of the new design improvements (and there are many) at no cost and if you’re happy with all of the features you had before there is no need to pay anything at all. I found all of the new features so incredibly useful though that I immediately signed up for the yearly subscription. $40 for such a great app and across my iPhone, iPad, and Mac? 100% worth it. Seems like they tried hard to make it the fairest for every type of user and I appreciate that. A few minor bugs but no show stoppers so far and they seem to be working toward improving things very quickly. I was on the beta for a little while and saw updates coming fast and furious. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!.Version: 3.0

Must have for iPhone, iPad & MacThe holy trinity of calendar Apps for the refined Mac/Apple device user. It's natural language entry is second to none. Is kept up to date, and polished with new and useful features..Version: 2.7.1

Pay to get travel time.. no wayI have loved Fantastical but immediately on getting version 3 find you have to pay premium!! To get travel time in appointments. It’s FREE in Calendar, why loose a feature to have to buy it back. Tried to leave a comment with flexibits but there’s no way, so here is a bad review ...Version: 3.0

Really helped my workflowI have never been someone who used a calendar effectively, but after making some changing I decided to add a calendar into my daily process. After some research i settled on fantastical as the best calendar for my needs and I have not been disappointed! The defining feature for me is the natural language parsing, combining this with Siri Shortcuts makes adding tasks really simple and efficient. i use fantastical with things 3 to plan my days and I have to say its massively increased my productivity. I understand some people are unhappy with the subscription model, but as a software developer myself i understand what goes into maintaining high quality software, and in my opinion fantastical justifies the cost, as an example i raised a bug with the team a few weeks back and received a response letting me know they were looking into it, a few weeks later and i got a response confirming the bug was now fixed. Keep up the good work.Version: 3.0.13

Love the appI’m paying for the app and loving loving how it pulls in multiple different calendars simply and is easily customizable in a user-friendly way. I love how it organizes my time so well. I think the only downfall is that the ‘week view’ isn’t very intuitive. It would be great if the text size on ‘week-view’ (phone app) could be smaller or edited/displayed similarly to GoogleCalendar (or even to how the Fantastical Mac app displays the week view), as the current view on iPhone is very difficult to see and use (events, locations, times etc)..Version: 3.6.5

Almost perfect! With the latest update I’ve moved to Fantastical after using another calendar app for many years. I’ve looked at literally just about every calendar app there is and am now Fantastical is my calendar. And the widget is one of the best I’ve seen too. And I’m happy with the subscription model if that brings ongoing development! With the latest update this app is almost perfect. Two things and I’d give it a perfect score: 1. The new template feature is very welcomed. However, you need to be able to set a template so that it will either a) when one presses on a time it automatically inserts the time currently selected on the calendar or b) inserts the time of the original. This setting could be set when creating the template by having the voice pop up before the template is saved. 2. I’d like to see the travel time dynamically change based on the distance from the previous event in the calendar. If no previous event then from “home” or “work”. Hope all that makes sense..Version: 3.0.1

Fave calendar by farI've tried many calendars and this wins hands down for its ease of use and allowing me to be lazier than normal. Only recommendation would be an agenda view for the week..Version: 2.8.3

Best calendar appThis app is just amazing! Everything I wanted from a proper calendar app. Very nice design, lots of features. Cheap price (costs less then a cup of coffee)..Version: 2.2.5

Sync issues1) ios app and mac version don't really sync immediately. It's honestly annoying to have to tick off remainders twice. 2) Events I've already declined and deleted from my schedule keep coming back and appear to be declined events. I can't find anywhere in the settings to turn this off. I recall that I can choose to not see events that have been declined on mac but I could be wrong. Anyways I just have to delete them over and over and over which really is a bother..Version: 2.11.3

It’s excellentI’ve used Fantastical on iOS and Mac for years and like many was so disappointed by the move to subs with v3. I didn’t update and saw all the one star rants and quietly agreed. I decided to finally update last week and see what all the fuss is about for myself, and presumed to simply revert to Apple calendar app. I was wrong and have delayed this review for one week just in case I missed something. The free version is great (I won’t be subscribing) and works brilliantly. I haven’t been asked/forced to set up an account, nor nagged to upgrade, not once. Sure, the UI shows the Pro features all the time, but I just don’t tap them. It works brilliantly and I can’t help but wonder if many of the reviews are trolls? For me at least, I can’t see quite why the level of hate is so high, as v3 has given me all the v2 features. It really is just such a lovely and reliable calendar app to use. And of course, the natural language input really is second to none. After all this time believing the one star reviews and stuck trying other apps, it’s a joy to be back. I can’t justify the subs model, and always prefer one off payment apps anyway, but v3 for free is super. One star less than 5 as hey, nothing is perfect ;).Version: 3.4.5

Unique, clever appI’m genuinely impressed with Fantastical. It’s a calendar app that is very different and adds a lot of value. I love how Fantastical parses text into detail, automatically finding locations, contacts, times and dates so accurately. Openings is very useful, and removes the need for a third party scheduling service, and on top of this, I can specify multiple times for one off meetings which are “pencilled in” until the invitee accepts. I wish the iOS icon showed the date, but that’s not the developer’s fault, and widgets offer an alternative..Version: 3.7.7

Just get it!This is a really great app. Very snappy to open, has clean customizable layouts. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has gone into this quality app..Version: 2.2.1

Read this<I’m trying premium for a year. My honest thoughts. Apple tax.> Hi. There isn’t a single app I’ve experienced more trepidation over about updating after all the negative reviews. I‘ve loved Fantastical so, so much and it’s changed my life. Well! I’ve tried the free update so you don’t have to, and I say go ahead 👍🏻. Positives. The new features and redesign are AWESOME. Having the weather forecast so cleanly integrated is FANTASTIC. Take the time to explore, really! Negatives? Some reviews complain about aggressive nagware. Nothing like that as of 02/04. Premium features have a visible star icon next to them, that’s it. Missing features? I’m struggling to find any - 0.01%, if anything. I’m a student, and I do wish they would reconsider the cost or offer a discount. Why the change? I did some research that helped me empathize. Apple takes 30% of all one-time purchases/upgrades, but only 15% of sub payments after someone’s been subscribed for a year. So subscription models have a HUGELY positive business impact. Income stability for an increasingly saturated market. Ongoing, improved support across 3 platforms takes time and money. I hope the change motivates them to not only elevate Fantastical but to start innovating by developing new apps & services that are included in the subscription to make the cost more worth it. Change my life again. I don’t like subs, but I love Fantasical, so I am will try this out. I spent too long on this review..Version: 3.0.3

Great app but missing one great feature!I have had this app for ages, on multiple devices and I am so happy with the update and the new features and subscriptions! The only thing I’m really missing is the option in events to show as busy or free! Other than that, I highly recommend this calendar app, the layout and aesthetic are gorgeous and it is so easy to use, but has the more in depth and complex tweaking that would suit any user!.Version: 3.0.3

I have LOVE-HATE-LOVE relationship with this app.I’ve been a user of this app since 2011 or 2012 and i looooved this app. Then few years ago this app became hard to use. It keeps on crashing! I tried the subscription version but it still kept on crashing. I tried looking for a to do app that has similar functionality with this one but sadly nothing comes close. I made a review here(i gave a negative review) and the company contacted me and asked me if I wanted to participate in a beta version group or something and I agreed because I really loved this app and I also want to help improve it. I did it for few years (giving feedbacks) and it still keeps on crashing! So i finally broke up with this app and just forget about this. Fast forward to a month or two ago when I upgraded my phone from iPhone 7 plus to iPhone 14 pro max and I tried using this app again and it was working properly!! The app doesn’t crash anymore! you can just tap the recurring to do list(the feature the i love the most) and it works! I’m guessing that the problem is my phone! I’m giving you Fantastical 4 stars instead of 5 because you didn’t tell me that maybe it’s already time for me to upgrade my phone LOL! and also so that you’ll keep improving the app and not to be complacent because as of right now, THIS APP IS THE BEST TO DO/CALENDAR APP!.Version: 3.7.3

Great but priceyGreat design and functionality. Love that different calendar views seem to have departed the premium subscription. Price strategy needs some work though. For AUD$60+ a year, I’m not 100% sure what I’m getting? Like, I subscribe to a to do app that costs me 25% less than that and the feature set and server requirements are clearly related to the cost. Here, Fantastical isn’t hosting my data, they’re just representing other services..Version: 3.5.3

Excellent appA really fast way to enter calendar events and has a beautiful UI..Version: 2.0.6

Best calendar app!Fantastical is by far superior to the native calendar app and any of the others out there. I love how it merges your reminders into your calendar. The 'smart' naming is also an amazing feature, works incredibly well. One thing I would suggest is that more services are supported beyond iOS reminders, like Wunderlist, Omni focus etc. Also, perhaps make the apps part of a bundle, it seems a little excessive having a separate app for each device when they're so expensive (hence why I don't have it on my Mac), a discount for buying into multiple platforms please!! Thanks :).Version: 2.4.2

Really good, would like some more featuresThis app would be 5 stars for me if it had a few more features. My top priorities are: 1. Copy and paste appointments, so it’s easy to set up the next meeting with the same client - which is usually how we end meetings. Duplicate + drag & drop doesn’t do the job when the next appointment is weeks away on a day that’s not already visible on the screen. 2. In landscape mode, have the option of snapping to the first day of the week when scrolling forward. Necessary for quickly scheduling meetings ‘in 3 weeks time’ etc. 3. In landscape mode, having an indicator when there are events earlier or later in the day than shows on the screen. All of these features are available in Calendar on the Mac, and I use them all the time Hope you can do these soon!!.Version: 2.11.3

So intuitiveAmazing, it’s like working with a mind reader!.Version: 3.2.1

They did right by Fantastical 2 usersI was one of the paid Fantastical 2 users who were angry when they switched to a subscription model. Yes, they could have communicated better, and the first new versions were buggy and had in-your-face nags to upgrade. But you know what? Fantastical *could* have abandoned Fantastical 2—and us—and introduced the new version as a separate, subscription-only entry in the App Store. Instead, we’re still getting all the features we paid for, including updates for bugs, security issues, and compatibility with new versions of iOS, plus a few additional perks like weather icons for the next few days. I’m not part of the target audience for the new subscription version—I don’t have to constantly arrange meetings with four or more people and repeatedly try to find times that are open for all of us—but I’m still enjoying all the features I paid for, thanks to their sense of responsibility to their existing customers..Version: 3.7.7

Brilliant for Calendars & Reminders bothRarely can I get excited by apps but Fantastical is well thought out, has simple intuitive yet deep functionality and frankly is what Apple themselves should have written. I use the macOS version and this iOS app. Both excellent. I’d use it just for the calendar alone but the integration with Apple Reminders is the clincher. Only negative are the childish app icons - they don’t matter of course but an app this good deserves a better shop window. Keep up the good work guys..Version: 3.6.3

Final TouchesI tmhave been using this app for almost two weeks now and it has completely transformed the way I interact with, and more importantly, how often I actually use my calendar! I’ve actually purchased several other calendar apps and while they all were supposed to be “amazing” ( at least according to the reviews), something about them made it seem too... daunting. Enter Fantastical. It’s really a big improvement over the standard calendar app and it is definitely worth the money. I love the natural language input function and the overall functionality of the app. It works extremely well and has many handy features like automatically adding an event to you calendar when it’s detected in your inbox (think: you purchased concert tickets and once you receive the confirmation email it will auto-create a fully filled in calendar event) With that being said, I would love some customizability in terms of the color scheme and the window layout. Also, GET RID OF THE “DOT SYSTEM” for tracking events. It’s really confusing and unacceptable to look at..Version: 2.10.7

Satisfied with the new look.I do not usually write reviews but after the new update I cannot understand all the negative reviews. The updated version has all the features we used to have for free. When I read all the negative reviews I was panic and start looking for changes. As the developer stated nothing changed. Ok I cannot see the monthly view or weekly view but this is an upgrade feature. In the previous version we couldn’t see these views. So why all these people are complaining. It is so unfair for all these people trying to give us a better application, which they did with the new interface. But people are reviewing without even reading. Personally I am very satisfied with the new interface but I will not buy the subscription. It’s so simple..Version: 3.0.2

Great calendar appJust start typing and it picks the relevant information and adds an event!.Version: 2.0.3

All round awesomenessHighly recommended, has been my main calendar on my phone for ages.Version: 2.2.7

FantasticI am new to fantastical - missed the whole transition debacle, And was curious to see what the fuss was about. I quickly learnt that fantastical was a brilliant app, carefully and thoughtfully made, that despite being packed with features was not overwhelming, just only empowering in terms of controlling ones workflow. Controlling reminders in the calendar is brilliant, as is natural language input. Generally the design and layout work incredibly well, with lots of ways to see the shape of ones time and tasks. I want apps like this and am happy to pay for the hard work that clearly goes into them, especially if it allows the developers to keep improving the app and offering such great support. Nice work..Version: 3.1.1

Such A DisappointmentI’ve been a longtime user, frequently recommending to friends and clients, but in its current state I can no longer in good conscience do so. I was initially excited for the upgrade because of all the newly added features. But now my excitement has turned to deep disappointment. My gripe is not with having lost any of the features from ver.2 as they are all still there, it’s with having lost functionality on some of my most used ones. At the moment I can no longer confidently perform searches because it fails to find most of the events and items I regularly need to reference for work. The app constantly freezes for a few seconds when typing, scrolling, or doing just about anything. It now takes me 1-3 minutes to enter a new event when it would normally take seconds. The efficiency I relied upon is no longer there, forcing me to have to go back to Apple’s Calendar app in order to be able to do my daily work in a timely fashion and without losing any more hair out of frustration. I reached out to Support for help. After waiting for days they finally reached out to ask for screen recordings of what I was experiencing. I promptly replied the same day with 2 recordings showing exactly what’s happening. That was a week ago and am still waiting to hear back, despite following up with them multiple times via email and Twitter, to no avail. All I’ve received is silence. Definitely not worth the subscription asking price..Version: 3.0.6

ExceptionalI genuinely can’t believe a calendar app could be so useful! After struggling for years with the iPhone calendar and Outlook app and trying to force them to do what I needed I was happy to stumble across Fantastical :) I’ve now been able to set it up so my work calendars automatically hide for the weekend, which helps me stay switched off. Huge help! I’ve always needed everything in one place but with this sort of option so I’m very happy :) highly recommended app. I can’t comment on the desktop version as I haven’t really used it..Version: 3.3.4

197innzI like it! I like it! A 'today' button would be a helpful addition..Version: 2.0.4

Expensive but the bestThis calendar app just seems to work for me. It’s one of the few that do, including Apple’s native calendar app. The exchange/outlook integration is solid which is the most important thing. The Apple Watch complication options are excellent, which is also key for me. The only thing I’d fault it on is that sometimes the natural language input is too clever for itself, and isn’t as intuitive as it should be. Having used previous versions of this app for multiple years I thought I would be used to it by now, but I still end up creating events with part of the title in the ‘location’ field. Annoying. But overall 5*..Version: 3.3.5

ESSENTIAL APP and well worth 11cent/day for premium featuresFantastical is BY FAR the best calendar app I have ever used (and I have tried many over the years). The user interface is easy on the eye, and more importantly well organized and easy to navigate. Fantastical’s feature set is unique and light years ahead of Apple’s stock calendar and other third party calendar apps. Being an essential app that I use multiple times, the yearly subscription fee of $39 comes down to about 11cent/day and is more than appropriate for what I get. Also, when I needed help with something, customer service is always friendly and prompt. PS: I have been a Fantastical user from before they switched to the subscription model and owned the stand alone app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The way the did the transition was with a high degree of professionalism and integrity and I can only commend them for that..Version: 3.0.13

Why the negativityA lot of people are giving this app poor ratings due to the new subscription option. I just don’t get it. You get all the old features, plus a few new ones without having to pay for the upgrade. Paying for the upgrade just gives you access to even more new features, which to be honest, unless you’re a power user of the app, you probably don’t need. The developers need a steady income to ensure continuous support and growth and I’m all in on helping that. It’s $5 a month for more features and helping the developer. A cup of coffee. That’s more than reasonable considering how good this app is. Fantastical has been my go to calendar app for years and there’s good reason for it. It’s beautifully designed, simple to understand, quick to add new events and has tons of features for people who use it all the time. I rarely ever experience crashes and it’s become one with my life. If I didn’t have this, who knows how much more of a pain my busy schedule would be. Keep it up developers, the naggers will leave and come back when they realize you’ve done nothing to the app they treasure.Version: 3.0.3

Top Class!!Despite all the bad press here, this is an outstanding app. It is Editor’s Choice for a reason and my go-to scheduler. For all the people complaining about the subscription model, use CALENDARS 5 from Readdle. Is the closest competitor; with a one-time charge. I own it, but still chose this app. It is the most robust and complete scheduler here. The thought that went into it is evident: ambitious, polished and well thought out. All I need is more complete task management; but, that’s clearly beyond the immediate scope of this project. For everyone looking for an actual review and not a comment. Here are my thoughts: LIKES: 1. Scheduling — A+ 2. Travel time — A+ 3. Time zone management — A 4. Online meetings — A+ 5. Desktop version — A+ 6. Natural language input — A+++ 7. Syncing across devices — A+ 8. International special calendars — A+ 9. Search — A 10. Managing recurring events — A 11. Customizations — B+ (needs more sounds) 12. Weather — B+ (needs morning forecast push) 13. Interface — A+ DISLIKES 1. Subscription model — B+ (one payment covers all the devices) 2. Basic task management — C (you’ll still need something like THINGS 3) 3. Calendar sets (Separate groups of calendars — not for me) RECOMMENDATION 1. Price reduction ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (have to ask) 2. SERIOUS task management 3. MORNING GREETING with today’s weather, events and tasks OVERALL A+ The best at what it does.Version: 3.1.6

The Only Calendar You NeedI’ve waited over a year to write this review for Fantastical. I don’t get paid for this nor am I bot. I just don’t believe in writing a review after using an app for 5 minutes. I’m also a person who changes apps every couple of months bc I get bored. I haven’t changed from Fantastical since downloading. That being said, this app’s is so well designed. It’s aesthetically pleasing with your choice of dark / light modes. You have the ability to link all kinds of calendars: ones you subscribe to (for the sport parents out there), google calendars, etc. Seamlessly syncs between devices (MacBook, iPhone, ipad, etc). No annoying ads (yes, this is a plus). Perhaps the best and well developed feature is the natural input language. You can literally right “Study Group /school calendar every Tuesday 1pm until June 25th” and it’ll enter it properly as a repeat event on Tuesdays that stops on June 25th. This is 1000% better than clicking on multiple fields to enter 1 event. The developers don’t just focus on the look, but they emphasize on the user experience. Not easy to do when you have to manage the masses. So highly recommend this app for those who are looking for a good calendar app..Version: 3.3.9

Bad moveWent from favorite to worst calendar app in one upgrade. Need to pay 55$+ per year to be able to use it !!! Scam... Goodbye I paid for the first version, then you offered it for free, I now you want a lot of money for it. I was happy with version 2, but you sent that upgrade that now useless until you pay..Version: 3.2.2

Wow!!I never write reviews for apps. But I felt the need to having read some of the reviews following the 3.0 update. Firstly I get it, it wasn’t the cheapest app before and now it’s moved to a subscription based service. I can see why people might be slightly upset. However having paid myself on iPhone, iPad and macOS. I have now also subscribed. Firstly I’m getting 6 months free (on the annual subscription). So I can see what it’s like and cancel the auto-renew if I don’t want it. I love the fact that the subscription works on all my devices. A separate sub for each device would have been harsh. Everything just works. I use Fantastical as my calendar app of choice each and every day on all my devices and have done for years. With the free 6months it works out at 7p a day for the first 18months. Then it will be 10p a day after that. I really don’t think that’s unreasonable. The added functionality- true most of it is available in other apps. But now it’s all in one. I can now delete some other apps from my systems. Finally. I totally understand the subscription model won’t be for everyone. So for you people, uninstall it; there are alternatives. But if you love fantastical then it really isn’t that expensive. EDIT: looks like the cry babies got their way. In all seriousness, well played developers for keeping everyone happy. But I’m still.m a happy bunny and have no issues subscribing to support future development..Version: 3.0.2

It’s just nice to look at.It’s a good looking app. This makes me want to look at my calendar, thus making me more organised. It’s intuitive too, especially the natural language feature. I use the Mac app as well since it sits in the menu bar nicely and it has a handy shortcut to add new events/tasks on the fly. Honestly though, other calendar apps just don’t look as nice, and I’ve recently discovered that matters to me..Version: 3.4.3

Definitely worth the price. Please Read!!! The new price is very fair. $40 to keep your life in order. That is a couple weeks at Starbucks. Come on. The developers have bills too. This app consolidates all my scheduling needs. Most other apps don’t even duplicate? Anyway. I see the bad reviews about the previous Fantastical2 buyers. When they rolled out V3 it did gripe you to subscribe but they fixed that. So previous users have everything they loved before and even more freebies plus updates “FOR FREE”. So please go back and change your reviews people. Please be fair and don’t immediately jump out of your skin when you see the word “Subscribe”. Just remember the pre smart phone days when software like this cost a couple hundred dollars each version. Old review ——————————- I've been using a mobile phone calendars ever since the palm pilots and blackberries. Tried every iOS cal and keep coming back to this one. Fantastical has the most usable interface with all the bells and whistles you could want but most importantly they are well implemented. A must have if you use and rely on your calendar all day like me. Download now..Version: 3.0.6

Classic Widget Removed :(I’ve been using this app for years. It has always deserved 5 stars in my opinion, specifically for the widget. I’ve always had the classic widget active. However, since this new app update to accommodate the ios14 new widget style, the classic widget is gone. And now the entire widget area on my phone is messed up because not only does the new widget style not move to where I need it to be moved to, but it looks different as well. Please give us back the classic widget as well. Until then, I’ll have to rate this app 2 stars because the main reason I use it is for the classic widget, which is unavailable to me now. My classic widget turned into the new style on its own after the app updated & now the option is gone to add the classic widget. I won’t be using this app until that option comes back, so I really hope it does. It might be a glitch because in the app it shows instructions to use the classic widget style as well as the new widget style, so I’m hoping you guys can fix it! I will change my rating when you do. Thank you! Update: once you restart the phone it comes back. Hopefully this is the end of the widget disappearing! Changed my rating to 5 stars!.Version: 3.2

Revising my previous reviewI’m upping my rating from 3 to 5 stars. My previous rating reflected my frustration with Fantastical 3 removing features that - as a user of Fantastical 2 - I had already paid for. On top of that, I wasn’t happy with the prompts to upgrade to the premium subscription plastered all over the app. However, it looks that now most of the features of Fantastical 2 are available for free to existing users. The only exceptions seem to be Calendar Sets and Travel time on the iPhone, which I’m pretty sure were existing features in Fantastical 2 for iPhone and now are gone (unless you subscribe). As it stands now, with Fantastical 3 I still have access to 99% of the features I paid for, plus the iPad app is vastly improved over the previous version, and there are a couple of minor new features like the 3-day weather forecast. That’s fair to existing users. As for the new subscription model, I wish it hadn’t become so ubiquitous. But if the premium features make a big difference in your daily work and productivity, then it’s worth paying for them. Otherwise, the free version is fine for the casual calendar user. I’m still on the fence about subscribing for those premium features, but I’m not angry about it..Version: 3.0.3

I was a naysayer, but no longer. This is the best calendar app.You can see my original review below. But I was wrong. Because $40/year is not getting you some stagnant app. In addition to Fantastical being the most full featured and gorgeous calendar app in the app store, the developers are working their butts off every day to fix issues and add functionality. How do I know? Because I regularly ask for features and report minor issues I've found. And those features are added and those bugs are squashed. And quickly. Look at the version history to see how much love this app gets. The low reviews are from people (and formerly me) that feel the price does not justify the return. They are wrong. There is no doubt in my mind that I am getting $40/yr in value from this app. My original review: The new version is gorgeous. It's what the app should have been in 2.0. I'd happily pay a decent single time payment. But I couldn't possibly justify $40/year for a calendar app on my phone..Version: 3.2.3

I am not sure 🤔Having read all the pointless moaning about subscription costs etc it’s clear that there are a lot of people who just score one star because they have to pay! You pay your money or you don’t! It’s simple. However scoring 1 star because you want it free doesn’t mean the app is rubbish! I have used this for 2 months now and generally it’s a good app and does (mostly) what it says on the tin. It’s true the watch syncing can be a little flaky at times not sure why that is? But the app is OK. Is it worth £4.99 a month I was say yes if you are a busy calendar user but may be not it you any use your calendar every now and then. It’s way ahead of the old outdated Apple calendar but we don’t know what IOS14 will bring. So if you want a free calendar and don’t want to pay £4.99 don’t bloody download it. If you do it’s not bad..enjoy!.Version: 3.1

The bestI’ve tried a lot of calendar or day plan apps, but none of them are good enough for me to use longer. Fantastical 2 is the best so far. It allows me to speak to it and it will automatically set the time, the event and the location. And if I wanna do certain things everyday, I just tell my Siri “everyday” then all the things are set! There are lists which allow you to manage events in different list. And the “detail” part allows me to write notes about the event. The layout is good as well. I can see my calendar clearly and go back to “today” by click “today” button. Also, I can set my event duration and alarms for it, which alarms me to start doing it. And after I bought the Mac version, I can sync all the events to my computer, and when I write sth on computer in this app, it will appear in this iPhone app. It’s a brilliant app! Love it!.Version: 2.10.8

Wonderful UpdateI have not experienced the other issues that others have. From my perspective, v3 is a winner and has replaced BusyCal as my desktop and mobile calendar of choice. 1. While other apps state they have regular updates, Fantastical actually updates my calendars regularly and smoothly. I’ve finally been able to ditch keeping google calendar app on hand to ensure I don’t miss appointments updates or notes. 2. The customization is... Fantastical. I love that I can pick my browser and map client if choice, as I use Brave and Waze but can’t set them as defaults in iOS directly. I can in Fantastical, awesome. 3. Personally, I’m happy to pay a $39 annual fee for all of the platforms (iPhone, iPad, macOS), to get a quality product that’s updated regularly with responsive support. With all of the above, of still like to see some additional integrations with other best of breed apps, such as AnyList. As well, a Dark version of the FantastiPal icon would be much appreciated, as well as customizable icons for the desktop version..Version: 3.0.13

It is goodBeing able to create events with natural language is indispensable. Especially useful when creating an event quickly while on the phone. "Next Thursday at 5pm? Okay". Type the same into Fantastical and you're done..Version: 2.1

Fantastic!Great upgrade from the original. Reminders are now incorporated which is nicely implemented. This is without doubt the best non stock calendar app. Very very nice!.Version: 2.0

The best calendar app on iOSIgnore the negative reviews as that’s just people moaning because of the new subscription model. In my view if you want a premium product you should expect to pay for it. I paid for previous version and still got all those original features in v3. By subscribing there has been a vast number of additional functionality added and the pipeline looks full too. This is a first class app that I wouldn’t be without. The watch complications and app are brilliant and the Siri Shortcuts are part of my daily routine..Version: 3.0.13

Intuitive to use, clean & clear to look atFor my use the best there is..Version: 2.11.2

Fabulous app and even better tech supportI use Fantastical on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac: Love, love, and love how well the apps all work. It’s become my default calendar app and I can’t imagine going back to the native Mac apps (sorry, Apple) But let’s face it- blips happen. In my case, the Mac version wouldn’t accept my Exchange password (kind of a big deal for me). I checked the FAQs but was worried that deleting the account and reinstalling it might mess up my iPad and iPhone versions (and I’d lose all my appointments). I contacted support and received a reply with instructions within a few minutes. The directions were clear and within 2 minutes I was up & running again. Summary: great program and if you do have a glitch (this was first ever problem I had with any version of the app), the support team will work quickly to fix it for you. Two thumbs up and six stars if I could give them..Version: 3.7.1

Loved v2, problems after "upgrade" to v3 now resolvedI bought both the Mac and iOS versions of Fantastical 2 and loved them. Just perfection. Combined reminders and calendar, great interface, the works. Then the upgrade to v3 - which had taken away some basic capabilities like invitations to my iCloud contacts and certain views unless I subscribe for £40 a year - and broke my Mac version too. Initially deleted the app and went to stock calendars but just re-tried Fantastical and pleased to say the current version has restored all my v2 functionality on iPhone and Mac without having to subscribe..Version: 3.5.1

Dark Mode Looks Absolutely Beautiful! Now that Fantastical has dark mode, the app looks so much nicer & it’s definitely a refreshing look for it. Thanks so much for implementing dark mode, the app definitely deserves more than five stars..Version: 2.11.1

Brilliant (for the most part)Really feels like the winner of the best calendar app on any platform. Works extremely solidly, and does everything I need it to, although the yearly subscription does feel a little rich. I would really appreciate the ability to theme the app (make it something other than red). Also on big phones having the main controls in the top left is a bit of a pain, it’d be great to be able to adjust this. Minor gripes aside, it’s so good that anything other than 5 stars would feel mean..Version: 3.7.5

A Whisper of PerfectionWhat makes this app above and beyond for me is the slickness. It’s a dream to use and maximises the functionality of the iPhone using swipe, portrait and landscape (rotated giving the full view of the week ahead). It’s a super-smooth user experience and interfaces with natural language parsing which makes the app enticing to use despite its feature-rich disposition. In dark mode, these features just pop. I know what the weather is and what the time is thanks to the constantly updated red timeline across the day. I like to regularly attach links and attachments to meetings, and the app has all the tools to allow me or others (via Openings) to schedule a meeting via Google Services including adding Meet links. The ability to create templates from an event and or share tasks with the Reminders app adds powerful geofenced reminder options. I won’t say there is no learning curve with it as there is a good deal of settings but I find that I enjoy tweaking these over time to improve my flows. When an app becomes this intuitive, it has matured into something else; Fantastical has reached the ‘where would I be without this?’ app status in my everyday productivity app survival kit. And the icing on the cake is tech support. The turnaround times with subscription priority support are pretty breathtaking. Worth every penny/cent..Version: 3.6.4

Best Calendar app so farI was not happy with iCal and tried several calendar app. I tried this app with initial hesitation due to paid for. However, I finally made to conclusion that this paid app is worth the money. I also bought the Mac version. So, now all of my apple devices practically synced with this app. Awesome! One feature need to be added, IMO, is direct link to Waze in relation to address. I hope it will be included soon. [update: Sep26,2020]: it seems the sync between my iPhone and MacBook works slowly recently. I found that emails I erased in MacBook still appears in my iPhone. It will gone until I refresh the app several times. It gives me falls alarms when I switch between devices..Version: 3.2

Still the very bestI’m delighted that an app I’ve used since its genesis will continue to grow. I was initially wary of the subscription model, but there was no downside as I could continue to use all the features I was already using in the previous version. I paid for the subscription almost immediately and within a few days, it had paid for itself when I was able to use the “choose a slot” invitation model for the first time. It worked flawlessly and saved me a ton of back and forth. It looks great, it feels great, it’s there on my Macs, my iPads, my iPhone and my Apple Watch for the same price. Superb..Version: 3.0.6

Great, would like to carry forward reminders though.I really like this app, it syncs seamlessly with my watch and has many great features. The one thing I would like to do is be able to carry forward any incomplete, or partially incomplete tasks in my reminders list. If there could be a checklist function for minor tasks such as shopping lists or itemised project tasks I’m sure that would be useful as well..Version: 2.9.3

Intuitive and outstandingSimply the best calendar app for iOS or Mac..Version: 2.5.2

Love the tasks alongside calendar…but no Zoom!I have been searching for a decent calendar + task app and this is really it for me. Thought I’d regret the yearly subscription but really don’t 3 months later. Easily joining meetings is good. I have multiple calendars and they appear well on the screen better than the iOS app. My BIG BIG bugbear is only being able to set up Google Meet links in the app, would make such a difference to me to be able to have Zoom integration. If you don’t need to schedule Zoom meets all the time this is the perfect app for you. But misses a star for me..Version: 3.7.3

Best Calendar app I could findAbout a year or two ago I went iCal crazy after finally realising how imperfect the native calendar app is. I went through just about every third party calendar in the App Store and after finding Fantastical my search was over. I think my favourite feature would be how simply it’s laid out, you can see everything you’ve got going on over the next few days just on the main screen. Highly recommend.Version: 2.9.7

Broken and now with very expensive subscriptionNot only is it now on a very expensive subscription: - There’s constant ads nagging to get you to pay them more money. Even if you own the previous version. - The Watch app is now broken. You cannot used the watch app at all until you create one of their accounts..Version: 3.0.2

Great calendar appGreat design, easy to add events and reminders all in one place..Version: 2.0.6

It was the best calendar app!UPDATE: Had to change my previous review. Everything is behind a pay wall. Those of us who purchased every app for every device are now relegated to the basic + level of this app. That’s total unfair for longtime customers. Airmail did the same thing and look how much business they lost because of it. Fantastical is now deleted and I’m back to the stock calendar app. What a shame. I had always used the stock calendar app on every iPhone/Mac/iPad that I had ever owned. I thought it was the best calendar that I could use...that was until I came across Fantastical 2. I know the stock app lets me put all my calendars together just like Fantastical 2, but where the stock app fall short is on the natural language integration. I’m able to type my events in plain English and Fantastical 2 will create my event in a snap! It keeps me organized and allows me not worry about whether or not my app syncs across each device. Highly recommend this app!!!.Version: 3.0

Great calendar....one request...This really is a very good calendar and does pretty much everything I need. What would turn it into 5 stars for me though would be to be able to change which calendars I’m viewing from a button directly on the main screen. At the moment, I have to click on the settings cog, then go into calendars, click which ones I want to view and then click done. It doesn’t sound like much but we switch calendar views all the time in our business and so if there was a way to directly access the calendars setting from the main screen like you can on many other calendar apps, it would be great. Other than that, we think it’s fab 👍.Version: 2.9.3

The BEST Apple ecosystem calendarI was hesitant to spend $40 per year on a calendaring app, on any personal app for that matter, but I believe the ROI justifies the cost. With a single subscription, I get a unified calendaring experience across desktop, iPad, and iPhone, and my productivity is significantly better with managing my scheduling and tasks. I use a combination of Exchange, Google, and CalDAV calendars with Reminders and Zoom integration. Compared to the alternatives, including built-in calendars with Outlook and my favorite email client Spark (sorry Readdle, but I do LOVE Spark for email for the same reasons here), Fantastical puts every other solution to shame. This is also the only stand-alone calendaring solution where I could see Exchange calendars delegated to me... the Calendar sets feature makes flipping between personal, work, and colleague’s calendar a breeze! I’m sorry I waited so long to subscribe, believing the other reviews here were indicative of what I would experience and at what cost. However, as a real-life, self-designated “power user”, the cost is returned many times over with efficiency and fewer scheduling conflicts. It simply has no equal in the Apple world. Thanks Flexibits!.Version: 3.1.5

Great appBeautiful app with amazing features and the simplest layout in my opinion. I wish they had two price tiers so I could support them for less than the full price which is just not worth it for me, but I understand that’s probably hard to support. Love using it with the basic features nonetheless..Version: 3.2

Excellent replacementStarted using this several months and never looked back. Favourite feature is being able to add appointments or reminders in human readable format (eg. Meet Uncle bob at Cafe on Sunday at 8pm) Keep up the excellent work!.Version: 2.5.1

Nearly perfectGreat app and widget. I love that the are multiple coloured circles on days so I could see which calendar have events and how many. The search feature is a little hard to find with a half swipe on the calendar and in week view if past the start of the event you can’t see what the event is as the title does not stay at the top of the screen over that event period. Is annoying the logo cannot show the day but only a notification, however I know this is a limitation put on by Apple sadly. Generally small features making it better than Apple calendar with a couple of small tweaks to make it perfect calendar app for me..Version: 2.10.3

Change the icon pleaseI love this app so much and I use the desktop app too. I absolutely hate the icon though. Their desktop icon looks so much better. I use utilize calendars everyday and I prefer I still find myself using Google Calendar on my phone because it looks nicer..Version: 2.10.3
