✓ So much potential…Tydlig is a truly unique calculator app. No competitor can match its human-readable, easily organized interface. Perfect for dealing with multiple equations at once, Tydlig brings a versatility not before seen in the calculator app market. Unfortunately, the developer has neglected this app for quite a while now, and the bugs in the app are quite evident—in my experience, graphing, which is rather confusing in the first place, causes the app to crash a good 50% of the time. There is no 3D Touch support, forcing iPhone 6s and 7 users to resort to long-press actions that unnecessarily slow down one's workflow and thereby reduce productivity. This app is a great start and concept, but it doesn't feel fully polished, and seems as though it has been abandoned by its developer..AaplmathVersion: 1.5

✓ Great App Languishing in LimboI love the concept of Tydlig. In fact it’s one of my favorite ways to do calculations. It’s so much of a better flow to be able to put numbers out in white space and brainstorm rather than being confined to a spreadsheet grid. This is also why I’m saddened that in the years since I first used this app, no major improvements have been made. Most importantly, I can’t save calculation sheets. My only option is to clear everything and start over or export to a static PDF, but if i set up a large flow of calculations and wanted to come back to it later? Sorry! Not allowed. All that meticulous work? Gone. Saving your work on a computer is such a novel concept apparently. And this more than anything kills all the value of the app for anything but the most fleeting calculations and keeps it from being a really killer power-app. Normally this wouldn’t even bug me that much, and I would even accept that some apps just go off in the wilderness to die…and yet while I’m in a flow state, begrudgingly working out something that I just can’t flow with in a spreadsheet, this review panel pops up interrupting my flow state. And so he we are. I love this app so much that I hate that it can’t be more than another ephemeral iOS widget. Yes this is a sour review, but…you asked..CʀVersion: 1.6

✓ Awesome!Updates: This app has been freezing up. Once the freeze happens, nothing works until app is reinstalled or phone is rebooted. It’s been frustrating doing this every week or so. Since 5 months ago when app was “updated” this freeze came into affect and developer no longer seems to care to fix the freeze. Previous review: What I like about this app though is how linear your calculations are. You can refer back and spot mistakes or change values. ✓ Great, but needs a few more features...Very neat app but it needs to add the ability to save a sheet so that I can come back to it later. ✓ Fantastic App! Slow to improve and update however...Other than the UI update to support the iPhone X (which was a HUGE surprise as the last update was for iOS 9!) This app doesn't get improved that much, there are some bugs that I've emailed the dev about and also feature requests like multiple sheets/icloud support that I would LOVE to see!! It really holds this app back the infrequent updates! I adore this app and it's so close to being perfect but it is a shame the dev doesn't respond nor imoroves the app at all. ✓ Nice take on the standard calculatorSadly let down by only having access to one sheet, and if you have a couple of tags they misalign quickly on even the shortest of calculations; which, considering you only have one 'infinite' sheet to work with, makes you wonder how soon it'll be before the whole thing ends up looking like a massive mess. ✓ Quite good but needs keyboard supportAs well as keyboard support it seems quite odd that this calculator does not support fractions in calculations. ✓ Needs multiple worksheetsI was looking for a calculation app that lets me input a series of related expressions and calculates the final values for each of them and this app seems to do the job. The user interface is nice and intuitive. However like many other reviewers I am frustrated by the fact that it doesn't seem to be possible to have more than one worksheet at a time with the ability to switch between them. I want to be able to save and load sets of related calculations to named worksheets instead of having all calculations that I might ever want to reuse in one long list as the app does now.
